5 stars across the board. 10 out of 10 would recommend! My family and I (two adults and four kids) stayed here at the end of August in one of the three bedroom cabins. The cabin was spacious, comfortable and super clean, stocked with linens, bedding, a full size refrigerator/freezer, stove, microwave, toaster, utensils, cups, plates and cookware. If you're looking to unplug and unwind, this is your place. Clean cozy cabins on stunning Lake Wallace. Go fishing or take a kayak trip around the lake and be sure to check out some of the inlets. Just don't get out on the Canadian side! Enjoy the breathtaking sunsets across the lake while relaxing by the bonfire. Whatever you decide, you will enjoy your stay :)Nearby activities: If you're a nature buff and love hiking, a hike to the Fourth Connecticut Lake is a must. This "lake" which is actually a bog, is the watershed (birthplace) of the Connecticut River. It's an experience you will never forget but be cautioned, it's a challenging hike with steep grades, some climbing and some slippery sections.Food & drinks: Be sure to visit April's Maple for some yummy treats and a delicious meal, and if you're not lactose intolerant, you MUST get a maple creamie. If you prefer to cook for yourself, Solomons grocery store just down the road in West Stewartstown, NH has everything you need.Noteworthy details: Quick note: If you do need to maintain contact with the world while at Jackson Lodge, Verizon has no service here however AT&T did have two bars of service. Also, Wi-Fi is available in the Lodge lounge and in the pavilion.

Your first impression when you enter the office and walk the premises is " This is such a beautiful place, it feels peaceful and happy." As we entered our quaint little cabin, our next thought was, wow, this cabin is really clean, and screened in porch with not a spiders web in sight. Yes, that clean!! This Lodge, for the whole family, is a happy place with beautiful land and lovely lake which is enjoyed by both adults and children. After you have been there a while you began to know why the atmosphere feels so special. Gloria and Mark sincerely care and appreciate their guests, employees and property.

Do not stay here! First of all they are not kid friendly place like they say and do not like children on their property. The cabins are full of bugs! Staff is less than friendly or helpful. They charge so much per week i advise you to book anywhere else!!!! Take your hard earned money and book at any other waterfront cabins. Bug free especially! Do NOT stay here!

We had dinner last night at Parsons St. at Jackson's Lodge and it was outstanding! We are always impressed when we dine at Parsons but the setting at Jacksons was a nice surprise. Having never been to Jackson's Lodge or Lake Wallace it is a perfectly peaceful spot and the blend of exceptional food and atmosphere is really wonderful. I am so glad they teamed up and we will absolutely be back.

Jackson's Lodge is a throwback in a good way. Generations of families visit there. Mark and Gloria work hard at keeping the buildings and grounds up while being friendly and accessible. The cabins are completely equipped and comfortable.Unfortunately the border was closed and weather did not co-operate during our stay.

I haven't stayed here but they have a fantastic Sunday brunch open to the public. Wallace Pond is gorgeous and the staff I saw at brunch were very friendly! Also they have a border marker right on the edge of the property where you are in both USA and Canada which is super cool for pictures!

Our family has enjoyed many enjoyable times over several decades at Jackson's. Continued improvement have been made to the cottages without loosing the quaint, days past atmosphere. Beautiful lake, lodge and people. Always a great to visit.

It was calm and quiet. A wonderful place to relax. The owners and the staff made me feel right at home, not only with their service, but with our conversations as well. I loved my "Cub" room, too! It was absolutely spotless and I felt quite comfortable there. And the strawberry rhubarb jam was heavenly...

Gorgeous spot right on the lake. Wonderful comfortable cabins. Great hiking in the area. I recommend going during fall foliage season. Also, be sure to bring your passport since it is right near the Canadian border and there is a lot to do just across the border too (I recommend going to the gorge in Coaticook).

We just held our annual Trout Camp for Teens at Jackson's Lodge. I can't say enough about their great service and wonderful accommodations. The clean, well maintained cottages and lodge were perfect for our group and the variety of activities we do during the camp week. This is a perfect place to be whether it is for a private get away or a group gathering. Gloria and Mark are incredible hosts and would go out of their way to ensure we wanted for nothing.

Sept 8 , My daughters wedding. If I could give 10 stars I would. Was 3 days of total bliss, owners were remarkable to my entire family and all the guest. Appx 110 people. Perfect venue for a destination wedding, we rented all the cabins and both houses. all the buildings were spotless., the grounds amazing bon fire every night. The cabins had everything we needed. Friday night rehearsal dinner was an amazing, cook out for all the friends and family and Gloria and her husband made sure we had everything we needed. The price of the cabins are so affordable. I already booked a cabin for July vacation and I can't wait. again thank you very much for making it a perfect weekend.

Beautiful and quiet. Large property and lake situated along the Canadian border. The border marker is on the property. Lots of cabins, great for families. Main Lodge has a great space for eating, parties, and social functions. Good for summer and fall visits.

We went to a wedding and it was great. No TV and WiFi only at the store but it was really nice and forgetting about your digital life isn't all that bad. Friendly on site owners and the lake is beautiful! We would definitely go again.

Everything is great. The location, the cabin, the staff. However, I have a suspicion, that the hotel staff called the border patrol on us, since it is located right on the border. I can't prove it, but there is no other way that border patrol knew we are there in the morning, since we arrived at night. And the reason they called them in, was because we were from our of town. Again, amazing place, taking one star off, because of the suspicion.if I knew for sure, would have given them 0 stars.

A family getaway without the technology. From the clear warm lake and sandy beach, the nighttime fire pit where all guests come together, the community corn hole games to the gracious hosts - Gloria and Marc - this place is pure peaceful bliss.A definite 5 stars and more. This place is for all, kids and adults alike.

Jackson's cafe for breakfast has amazing specials, all homemade and everything is reasonably priced. Lakeside dining for dinner is also fantastic. Choosing an item is hard because everything is so good. The bar also makes a delicious Mojito.

A Northeast Kingdom gem, snuggled tight against the Quebec border, Jackson's provides it all, comfortable cabins, a beautiful main lodge, outdoor games for all ages, watercraft, and a gorgeous mountain lake, Most importantly, the staff couldn't be more pleasant and accommodating, and breakfasts (the most important meal of the day, and open to the public - reservations appreciated), are a true joy of cooking.
