Brian and his team are just the best. He was available to talk to me through my car emergency on a Monday holiday when I was passing through the area. He took me in and fixed the issue in less than a day. He was so knowledgeable, kind, friendly, and reliable. There's clearly a reason he is the most popular shop in Burlington.

I truly can't say enough good things about Brian's Auto -- they are some of the kindest and most helpful folks out there and I can't recommend them enough! I've always gotten incredible service from them with past car issues, and even when I had a bit of an auto emergency recently (busted taillight), Brian was able to take a look at it and have my truck fixed by the next day (and at an incredibly great price too). I couldn't be more grateful for Brian and everyone at Brian's Auto -- y'all are the absolute best!

I met Brian several years ago when he was working as lead mechanic at this Sunoco. He then quickly became my go to mechanic for just about every car I have owned. Easily the best experience I ve had with an automotive shop. Going here for the first time, it s clear to me that Brian and his team genuinely care about their customers. They will tell you everything that is wrong and then tell you why it needs to be fixed. Fair and transparent pricing. They ll tell you how it is. I brought my truck to them on short notice and they had it done far quicker than I was anticipating. I will be going back to them in the future and wouldn t hesitate to suggest them to anyone in need of work on their vehicle!

Brian is the best!! I called with a transmission issue and Brian stayed open 30 minutes late for me to take a look at my car, no charge. I had never even been to the auto shop before, he was just doing a stranger a huge favor! Since then, I trust them with all my car repairs and they do a wonderful job, always explain everything, and are transparent about pricing. Highly recommend!! Also, they have the sweetest dogs inside!!

I highly recommend Brian's North End Automotive for anyone who needs car repairs or maintenance. My daughter, an out-of-state student at UVM, had some issues with her car, and Brian was very helpful and honest in working with us. He listened to our goals for the car and gave us the best options for our budget with clear explanations. He communicated throughout the repair process to keep us apprised of progress and completion times. He stayed within the budget and stated timeframe. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, including inspecting the car, getting us scheduled reasonably quickly, making sure my daughter understood the car's limits prior to the repairs, consistently checking in with me to relay updates, a personal check-in call a few days after my daughter picked up the car, and other recommendations to keep the car in optimal shape in the Vermont climate. He is a trustworthy automotive advisor and expert. Thank you, Brian, for taking care of my daughter and her car and treating both with respect. You rock.

My daughter had a dead battery after skiing today. Stuck at Sugarbush and AAA on hold for hours She was able to get the car jumped. I called Brian and explained the situation I asked if he could put in a new battery. He said of course but I will check the battery first to be sure it s dead since the car is fairly new. Also it was 3 pm on a Friday with major snow storm approaching. She drove straight to Brian s. He checked the battery and yes it s bad. So he replaced! Quick easy fair and honest service. We will only go to Brian s now!!!

Brian's North End Automotive is an asset to the North End Community, and they are earning a well-deserved reputation as one of the top shops in Chittenden County. I have brought my vehicles to him for years, and have always been treated with the utmost respect and honesty. He's worked on my Buick, Honda Civic, and Subaru Forester over the years, and always proven himself knowledgeable and capable. Once, when I didn't have many options and I called them from the road towards the end of a day right before his shop closed, not only was he willing to answer the phone and work with me, but he was able to accurately diagnose an issue and prevent much further complications.I'm even more appreciative of them now after moving. An out of town town shop had done shoddy work and I was able to bring the car back to Burlington where he saw the issues immediately, was able to fix it in a budget friendly manner without giving me a hard time, and talked me through what had caused the issues and what to keep an eye out for in the future.Sometimes you're not sure which mechanics you can trust- Brian's Auto is as honest of a shop as it gets, well-respected in the area, and I can't recommend them highly enough.

I can't express enough gratitude for the exceptional service we received at Brian's Auto. Brian and his team provided not only top-notch mechanical expertise but also an invaluable education on car care that left us feeling empowered and informed.The team quickly diagnosed the issue, explained it to us in layman's terms, and provided a detailed breakdown of the necessary repairs and associated costs. We were passing through town on a trip out east. Brian was completely booked up but he was willing to take a quick look at our truck to help get our trip back on track. We cannot thank him enough for helping us out and informing my husband what needed to be fixed and on our vehicle. He was more than willing to work on it in his spare time but insisted my husband would be able to do the work himself to save us money. Could not recommend enough!

I have never felt safer or better taken care of at an auto shop than I do at Brian's.I have an old and not so common car and I need to make it last. When I first moved to the area, I had a dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree. It was still the pandemic, I'd already had not so awesome experiences with two different auto shops, and I was really anxious about how to begin finding a place I could trust. Someone suggested I take my car where they go and what a tremendous gift that suggestion turned out to be.At Brian's, they aren't just great at what they do, but they are great at how they do it. I will never forget my very first phone call there. I was so frazzled from my recent move and the many things that had gone wrong with that process, including now with my vehicle. Brian didn't know any of that but was so patient and kind, just because. He answered all of my questions with clarity, warmth, a sense of humor, and set me up with an appointment as promptly as possible. The place it absolutely always hopping and no matter how busy they are, someone always cheerfully talks me through whatever I might need. For them it's not just about the cars. It's about the people. This team works so hard, levels with you in plain language, and is always good for a laugh. My car has a lot of quirks, but I genuinely don't stress it because I know they've got me. I never question how much I can trust their knowledge, skill, or integrity - I just do - and I have been proven right over and over again. I can't imagine taking my car anywhere else. So incredibly grateful for these folks and this place.

This shop is a Dad's dream come true. Brian spoke to me multiple times after first dealing very respectfully with my daughter when she dropped off her Subie for a wheel bearing replacement. He talked her through the potential issues with the necessary repairs. Then, he called me and did the same. Then a follow up call with me to explain how the repair went. Just what I needed to make sure the car repair was getting handled appropriately when I'm 200+ miles away. If your kid is up in Burlington with a car problem and you can't get there to get it done yourself, I think you can trust the shop to do the work and not take advantage. They are busy though - so plan ahead a bit.

I'm so happy that I happened to stumble across Brian's Auto. I began using them last year simply due to their location, and it's has been the absolute best. Brian takes the time to actually explain things properly, but what I truly value him for is his honesty. He will tell things to you straight, and I have never left wondering if I'm being overcharged, or didn't need something done. I have the utmost trust for him and his team. I had a great experience at Brians"s . My car had lost all power and I was expecting an expensive repair. (Catalytic Convertors or even worse ) . Brian and his team did some cleaning and adjusting and only $200 later I was good as new. Honest and friendly service is always what I get at my neighborhood shop. I won"t take my car anywhere else . If there were more than 5 stars available I would give them. Brian is the most trusted mechanic I have ever worked with and at the time I needed his services, I didn't even know him. My daughter's car broke down on the way home for Thanksgiving. I knew of no mechanics in her area. I was lucky enough to contact Brian. He went out of his way to squeeze her in that day and get her home on time. I was a stranger to him and he talked to me like we were friends from back in the day. He even called that night to make sure my daughter made it home safely. What an amazing guy!!Service: Auto engine tuning

I m totally impressed with Brian. I was literally stranded in VT after I dropped my daughter at school. So I emailed his business. He got back to me after hours and said he d try and fit me in the next day, which he did. The car was ready in the afternoon and at a fair price I might add. I m so happy I chose to bring my car there. Good service, fair, and honest!!

Brian s auto is by far the best mechanic I have ever been to! All of the staff are incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. They are very honest and don t over charge. I ve been to them many times for tire changes and repairs. Most recently, they fit me in for a minor issue and fixed it right away!! Brian and Jenn were both helpful and reassuring. I went to the Volkswagen dealership for an inspection and they quoted me $5k for repairs. Frustrated I called Jenn and she reassured me and got me scheduled. They were busy so I was scheduled a couple weeks out, but it was worth the wait.Brian and Jenn helped me understand which repairs to prioritize and they gave me an idea of what I might expect down the line. They performed the repairs I decided to have done at fractions of the cost VW wanted.Brian's Auto saved me thousands.There was another time Brian's team made a mistake on my car. They apologized and made it right when I brought it back.I've experienced this as an honest shop that aligns their interests with those of the customer and would recommend them to volks

Very rude people here. Unless you're rolling in with an expensive car and lots of cash, don't expect to be treated like a person. I spoke with 3 different employees on the same day and each of them couldn't be bothered. I USED to think this was a place with nice people, but all I got was RUDENESS. ALSO... The response written by the owner is a TRUE REFLECTION of the exact attitude I got when I was there. My God, man your response was rude when it should have been an attempt to rectify the situation, but you have instead chosen to dig your hole even deeper by being rude. SEE WHAT I MEAN????

I ve gotten a lot of work done at Brian s and always had a good experience. Most recently I had them do my inspection they found I needed to get my rotors and brake pads replaced (which I already suspected I would need). They were super accommodating. when I didn t have my latest hard copy of my insurance they offered to print it out for me. Brian called once they did the inspection and walked me through it all in super easy to understand terms as I m still learning about cars. I ve always felt that Brian s is super transparent and fair. This was my second time going to Brian's for an oil change. I had several other concerns about my car that I wanted them to check out too. I had a friend drop off the car with some notes that I wrote down about the issues the car was facing. They called me a few hours later after looking at the car and talked through all the concerns I had. They were incredibly thorough and addressed everything that I wrote down. They even bumped down the price for me! I cannot recommend Brian's enough! 5+ stars!Services: Tires, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Brian is a very down to earth and easy to talk to mechanic. He provides exceptional service, and even ordered and installed my preferred brands of parts by request. His technicians in the building are reliable and do their job just the same. I had a rather large amount of repairs, and he was very forgiving allowing me to split my payment over a few weeks because of the large bill. I'm very grateful for this guy!

Do yourself a favor and make Brian's your go-to shop. Took my car here a few months ago to investigate a strange noise as I was scared it was transmission related. I didn't have an appointment but it was taken right in because of my concerns. Turns out a local VIP tire I got my inspection repairs incorrectly welded the incorrect pipe under my car to fix a leak! Brian came to my rescue, had the proper flex pipe welded on (at a great price too!), and even called VIP to have them refund me for the improper repair. They are competent, skilled, and friendly mechanics with strong work ethic. I absolutely applaud Brian and his mechanics for putting forward every effort to problem solve.
