Wonderful service provided. A repair to my vehicle took longer than expected, I sat in the waiting room panicking about the cost.When they finished the repair and I went up to pay nervously and to my surprise they did not charge me outrageously and for that I am very grateful! The inspection of my car was overdue. I had been procrastinating for a few days to get it done. The nice thing with Stop & Go is that you don't need an appointment. Just go there, line up in line, and it gets done. No more complicated than that.

Went in to get an inspection today. A totally new crew that I have never seen before and they failed my inspection because of my brakes when my brakes were perfectly fine and they said that I had an oil leak when I have my vehicle under coated when they say that I have a leak because it s under coated. They have no clue what they re doing.

These IDIOTS did a basic oil change on my mom s car and forgot to put the oil cap on when they were done after my mom drove it home (a week later) she had oil all over the car, engine compartment, and anywhere else it could reach. They offered to make it right. Their idea of right is steam cleaning the engine. NOTHING ELSE. She didn t even get her money back. We contacted their insurance to get help. We shall see how this goes. If I could I would give you a -10 stars! Oh and the owner was a real gem. Rude and snarky to my mother. After this we ended up having to pay to get the oil changed and the car cleaned.Service: Oil change

The team and service at Brattleboro VT Stop & Go are great! Twice now they've saved me hassle and money with their timely, affordable and professional service. A while back, other places closer to my home weren't able to get my car in for 1-2 weeks or longer, which could have left me without reliable transportation for work. Stop & Go staff had me bring my car in within a day and completed the work within a couple of hours. Even when they're busy, they've given a good estimate of how long it would take before work on my car was completed.Recently, I had a difficult time finding anyone open or willing to do an unexpected weekend battery replacement needed for my car (a hybrid).I called Stop and Go and staff said "bring it in anytime, we can do it". They installed the new car battery I brought-on a Sunday!- quickly and efficiently, and for a reasonable fee. Thanks Stop & Go!Services: Tires, Auto battery replacement

They stripped the drain plug when I went for an oil change. They didn't tell me. The next time I went in the manager told me they couldn't change my oil because the drain plug was stripped. I asked her how she knew that without looking at it, she didn't answer, all she said was she would not change the oil. This response made me very curious. I went home crawled under my truck and noticed a white paint mark just above the drain plug. So I scratched it off waited a few weeks, and went back. Same bay, same people working, they changed my oil. I got home got back under the truck, and the white mark returned. I brought the truck to my mechanic, and he replaced the plug at the next oil change. Watch out they don't let you know if they mess up your vehicle!!

Highly recommend this place if you need quick service, everyone is incredibly nice and knowledgeable, and they really do have you in and out faster than anywhere else. Incredibly convenient and open on sundays which is a huge plus! Always hit this place if I need some service before I leave town.

We have used Stop and Go for years. We feel that they are fair and have great staff. But the other day they went over the top. We bought new tires for our truck. We called for an alignment. As it turns out our truck did not need an alignment it was the old tires giving us the problem. They did not charge us for checking the truck. WOW great place.Service: Wheel alignment

Thank you for proving my point. You knew the stem for the tire was broken and should have been replaced. Instead you let me leave with a bad stem knowing it could blow out. Again thank you for outlining your bad work and acknowledging you knew it wasn't safe.My husband and I have tried going here numerous times throughout the years. When they change ownership we try again. We went for an oil change 3 weeks ago and 2 days after the car was sounding strange. We figured out that the radiator cap was not put back on when the car was servived for an oil change there. So we decided no more oil changes there , but we had a nail in our tire so on a Sunday who is open? Thought they could switch off a tire without any issues.... no my husband just called me the tire is leaking air while he is driving on the highway. He is now sitting at stop n go trying to get them to fix the tire and they are not being respectful. We will never go here again, even for the simplest things.Services: Auto tire replacement, Oil change

Stopped in on a whim needing an oil change. I will add that I have a toddler so I needed this to run smoothly and quick.Stop and go did not disappoint. I waited not more than 15m with two cars in front of me (1 in both oil bays already and one in line ahead). Promptly got started when I pulled in, with what I requested. As i was sitting there I noticed the team had good morale and camaraderie. Which was unexpected, not for a shop per se, just in that you don t often see it so openly and that was kind of nice to see they clearly work well together and are efficient along with that.I left happy, and will be back. Yeah this is the 2nd time I came here. 2 cars ahead of me. Got in within 1/2 hour. The girl who started the change ( Whitney ) was professional and very good at her job. These people don t play around. It might have helped I pulled in an hour before closing. I know I ll be out of here quick. Always am. My go to for on the fly, fast oil changes. Price is fair. Highly recommend them.Service: Oil change

Quick, easy, they will try to upsell u on filters(use your judgement, an air filter is ~$10 retail and u need 0 tools to put it in so...) but that's the business. They had a girl working too so, always thrilled to support an equal opportunity employer.

No appointment needed!! Super quick, super helpful and super affordable. I've come here for oil changes for a while but recently we had a few other things that needed to be done - nothing major, just quick fixes here and there. And it was all done same day, very professionally and very affordable!

I have had my car serviced several times at S&G, and the experience was good in each instance. You can be sure to be greeted with courtesy and a lack of attitude. Their team approach is a little different from most repair shops. Several techs may weigh in and be involved in the servicing of your vehicle. I have found the team members to be knowledgeable, articulate and patient with my questions.They have taken my car in on short notice when there was a safety issue with my brakes. They ran codes for me when my check engine light came on another time, and the tech was familiar with an issue peculiar to Honda's that would cause the reading, and advised a cost free solution. I have never felt they were trying to upsell services.

I can't recommend this establishment highly enough! We are holidaying from Australia, and had an issue with our 2013 Nissan Pathfinder. Super friendly and helpful staff had our needs met, at a good price, and we were back on the road in no time! Thanks again for your help and kindness.

Was on our way home from camping and pulled into town lunch. Got back in the car and the brake pedal went right to the floor . Pulled into the auto parts store across the street and asked the guy in there if we will make it home and he nicely said nope! So i asked where to go and he said CAREFULLY drive across the street to these folks. They took it in last minute, ordered the parts and I was on my way the next day. Fair price and cool folks!!

I was in a separate nearby parking lot when my truck made a weird noise and started pouring oil out of areas unknown. I called them and they said if we got it there they should be able to handle it unfortunately the part needed to be ordered. A day later we drove home with a new oil sensor. All of the staff was professional. Very thankful for everything they did and the speed it was done at.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

This auto repair shop is the best! My daughter went there to get her car inspected. They discovered the emissions system ( which we expected) needed repairs and parts replaced. The quote estimate for parts and labor were were pricey, but less than other places. When the car was completed, they called me and said the total was actually $400 less! JUST WOW!! In my 50 yrs of car ownership, that has never happened before! It's usually MORE than the original estimate. These People are so HONEST ,AMAZING, AND NICE! Went to get a tire that was leaking plugged and was there before they opened. When I saw them opening the door I asked if I could get service and they pointed to a line forming out back. "Sorry first come, first serve" to which I replied "I was here first" but since I wasn't in the line. Kindergartener mentality. July 24 2023 Went another time. They messed up the stem on a tire mount. Went back to have them fix it, seeing as they installed it wrong!! Tried having me wait in line. Nope!! You did it wrong fix it now! I'm not waiting because of you're incompetent. Place is a joke. Every time I go they mess something up.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I was out running errands and was due for an oil change. Decided to take a few minutes and get it squared away. I knew I needed a new wiper, so I asked them to throw those on too. No huge markup on those either. No line, so I was in and out in about 15min if that.

Don't go here for inspections. I took my Volvo in and they started to inspect it. The inspector said, it's going to fail because it needs a clamp for the exhaust. So, I go and get the exhaust clamp repaired. I brought it back again, and it failed. This time the guy said, it needs a tierod replaced. I was pretty angry as I had just spent $2,800 at the Volvo dealership getting the suspension and other items fixed. I felt this was untrue but I needed it to be inspected. So, we made an appointment with stop and go for the repair. My husband shows up and when they went to repair it. This inspector says, oh it doesn't need a tierod, I'm sorry.. I guess the inspector that did it was overzealous. And they passed it. Are you kidding me? My husband wasted his time for nothing. Something that failed and wasn't supposed to.Moral of the story, don't go here. For inspections or anything, they can't even tell if a tierod is broken. I wouldn't trust them with my vehicle again. I was always taught to go to the dealer for repairs and maintenance. The only place that will touch my vehicle again is the Volvo dealership. At least they know if a tierod is broken or not.
