On 01 Feb 2024 I went in to 802 Toyota to get help with my 2022 Toyota Tacoma. I turned my heated mirror on in the morning and it ended up cracking the glass. There is no damage to any part of the mirror just a clean crack in the mirror glass.I spoke to Brandy, service writer, and kindly informed her of my issue and asked if I could be helped.Brandy was immediately rude and condescending because I did not have an appointment. Brandy told me there was no way that what I suspected to be the issue was possible. She advised me that mirrors just don t break on their own .I simply asked if someone could look at my vehicle and what the next steps would be and Brandy told my rudely I would need to schedule an appointment and only a technician would be able to diagnose what caused the glass to break, not me.Because of the way I was treated I will never return to 802 Toyota, even though this is where I have had my vehicle serviced since November of 2022.I would highly recommend never wasting your time with this dealer. I would recommend any other Toyota dealer in Vermont because I have called both White River and Handy s and they are both willing to help.I also called to speak with the service manager and he will not return my call.Great business strategy 802 Toyota.

Parts & repairs here are great and fairly priced. All point check was totally worth it. Nice waiting room with couch, desks, electric outlets and smaller tables.I recently purchased a new car here and that experience was very different. My salesperson (Paul) was not very familiar with the car I was buying nor were they at all helpful throughout the process nor was there ANY negotiation. I won't buy another new car here. There's no communication between sales and repair depts.

We had an amazing experience with 802 Toyota. We had a flat tire on the way back from Canada, after research, we found 802 Toyota dealer is 16 miles away from us. Then we called them for help. First they direct us to call roadside assistance for tow truck, the tow truck came within in 15 minutes, tow our car to them. They were able to assist us right away. They were able to change 4 tires for our car, meanwhile they make sure we are feeling comfortable while we were waiting. Very friendly and nice people. After about 2 hours, we were able to get back on the road and go home safe. Thank you 802 Toyota! We will definitely recommend 802 Toyota!

Had a great experience with Dan Robinson from this dealership. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable and transparent. He was responsive and went out of his way to provide me with more information about the vehicle I was interested in. Although I did not purchase the vehicle, Dan's customer service was great, just wasn't the one I was looking for.

Spoke to Jake and he said he will follow up and never received any, then I gave an email to negotiate a price and never got a return email, bad bad all aroundUpdates: Initially was bad experience, Brett reach out to me and communicate through out the sales, like any sales would and work with my schedule to pick up the vehicle. Im happy with my purchase and over all experience after working with Brett.

I recently inquired about purchasing a new car from this dealership yesterday. I had previously purchased a new car from this dealership several years ago for my wife and the purchase went flawlessly. This time around not so much, the sales team was quick to respond to my online inquiry but after that they were very poor in their follow-up. I was promised by three different individuals that someone would call back shortly to answer my question. Unfortunately for them, this never happened and I will buy a new car elsewhere. I have left a message with the sales manager and the general manager at this dealership but my guess is I will not receive a call back from either of them as well. This being said, my suggestion would be to please give another dealership a call as well. You may be surprised by their sales department and their follow-up. After all, don't you feel that this is part of what a sales department is all about....

Had a great experience we 802 Toyota. Worked with Perry Fleming as my service advisor. Perry was great to work with and guided me through the repair process through every step. He helped me through my warranties and getting my van fixed in a timely and cost effective manner. 802 provided me a rental while my van was being repaired and I cant thank them enough for their support! I plan on using 802 Toyota to purchase my next vehicle. Thank you Perry!

I broke my leg and was housebound when my new car arrived. 802 Toyota negotiated about the extras with me over the phone. Then they drove the car to my home, did the paperwork with me while I was sitting in the recliner in my living room, and drove away in my trade-in.Three months later, when I was able to drive the car, I discovered it did not have the heated seats I had ordered. Brett (the sales manager) took my car to Yipes Stripes, had the heating mechanisms installed in the seats, and the dealership paid for it.That is what I call treating your customers right!

Have a 2021 hylander, message on dash says maintenance required, called to schedule whatever maintenance was due and cost, service advisor stated no cost! Made appointment and called to confirm appointment day of service, again I asked if there was any charge, different advisor stated no charge, show up after driving to appointment and they tell me service will now cost 120 dollars!Classic bait and switch! Do not recommend this place

Had a somewhat funky sales experience here about 18 months ago - new sales person couldn't find the car we came to purchase (new Highlander Ltd), so we had to find it in the lot ourselves. Then he communicated poorly so we were led to believe we could leave with the car, but after several hours at the dealership we found out we had to return the next day to pick it up -- 2+ hours round-trip. It all worked out so I left a three-star review at that time, but they somehow managed to have Google remove the review. So I am downgrading to one star. Overall expect more-attentive sales and clearer communication with a $48k purchase.

Bought two Toyotas earlier this year from 802 Toyota. Chris Toupence was fantastic to work with. A true pleasure to make his acquaintance. He helped us glide through the process with ease and facilitated managing the different departments for a smooth overall sales experience.

They took care of my much needed repair, I got a fresh cookie & the best part was the shuttle driver Jeff, talking cars with him and having a ride was absolutely comforting! He was an absolute gem and I'm very thankful they're now my local Toyota. Thank you for having me back on the road in the same day, she drives so great now!

I wanted to wait until I ve had my car for at least a week so I could drive it around a bit before I share my recent experience of purchasing a new Toyota RAV4 with the help of Chris. From the outset, his level of professionalism was evident, and it only grew stronger throughout the process.Upon entering the dealership, I was greeted by Chris's friendly disposition, which set a positive tone for the interaction. He took the time to listen intently to my needs and preferences, carefully considering every aspect of my requirements before offering his expert advice. He is very chill and relaxed, and we didn t feel rushed to make any decision. Moreover, his ongoing support and willingness to address any questions or concerns even after the purchase demonstrated his genuine care for my satisfaction. This level of after-sales service is a rarity in today's fast-paced world, and it speaks to Chris's dedication to cultivating lasting relationships with his clients. In addition to his exceptional professionalism, Chris's friendly and approachable demeanor made the entire car-buying process enjoyable and stress-free. His ability to connect with customers on a personal level and make them feel at ease is a skill that sets him apart in the industry. Glad to hear about his w personal experiences before deciding to join the car industry. Thanks Chris!!! The new car already has 700 miles.

I'm now a Toyota Rav4 and Toyota Tacoma into my history with 802. Phillip Heinz has been my guide the whole way, and when your Vermont car dealer is also a pork and chicken farmer you know you're in the right place. Great trade in offers, willing negotiators, and laid back atmosphere. Do your research, be diligent, and 802 will meet you half way.

Charge $130/hour for diagnostics, even if you know what needs to be done. So hard to find a good mechanic in VT that doesn't scam.

This dealership is one of the most unprofessional ridiculous places. I have ever tried to bring my vehicle to be worked on. Been there 3 times now. They're not even willing to work on my truck.Keep telling me to just drive it until it blows up and then replace the motor rather than figure out what's wrong with it. The last time it was in there. They told me they knew just what was wrong with it. Replaced parts that had nothing to do with the noise it was making. I guess unless you're trying to provide them with fast, easy money jobs. They don't want anything to do with you.

I couldn't be happier with my new Corolla Cross! Paul Walsh and the whole 802 team went the extra mile to get me into this car. Everyone is professional and make you feel at home. This is how every dealership should be! Highly recommended!

First experience with 802 Toyota and it was fantastic! Bought my first new car with great help of Philip who was very supportive through the process. Philip and his colleagues answered all of my questions and made sure I left with exactly what I wanted. My Dad was also very pleased with how easy going and knowledgeable the experience was, I couldn't agree more!

I had two salesmen come up to me and tell me that the used cars I was looking at had very little rust on the underside. The two cars were both Impreza base models, and they both had a significant amount of rust on the bottom, more than you'd normally see, even in Vermont. The rust was scale, and I could literally grab a piece and crumble it off of one of the rear control arms on one of them. The advice I would give is make sure you know what you're looking at before coming here, and do as much research on the car you're looking at. Either they knowingly and willfully lied, or they didn't know enough about the vehicles they had in stock to properly sell them. Either way there's a problem

The process for buying this car was the easiest ever, and it's all because of Savanna Andress. She is great at her job and generally awesome! The time between doing the paperwork and getting the car at 802Toyota was many months shorter than other dealers told us. I recommend Savanna!

I have a 2007 Toyota Tundra. Back in 2015 that truck had about 250,000 miles on it. I decided to buy a new Tundra thinking that the 2007 would not last much longer. This morning I hit 300,000 miles on the old truck. It's still running great, lots of power, burns no oil, and has no rust. I guess I should have waited before buying the new one. It's still sitting in the garage waiting for it's turn!!!

The team at 802 Toyota are great, especially Amber. We had car trouble while on vacation and Amber worked hard to get us in, get us service and get us back on the road. We deeply appreciate everyone. Thank you.

If i could give more than 5 stars for this dealership i would... James at 802 Toyota was nothing but the best. I dont think id have my truck without him.I ordered my 2023 Toyota TUNDRA Platinum less than 2 months ago and from putting deposit down to finalising the sale he went above and beyond. He kept me in the loop on their effort on getting me a truck and even notified me when a platimum (not mine) arrived so i could take a look and test drive. He would respond to messages after hours and on his day off. Even offered to come in on his day offJames's approach and demeanor was the most relaxed, no pressure buying experience i have ever had buying a vehicle. These days buying a Truck is frusterating with no inventory but James and 802 toyota came through in a very seamelss process and i can not thank them enough!

We were on a road trip from out of state and our Prius started making a nerve wracking loud rattling noise just outside of Montpelier. We limped along to 802 Toyota and despite being fully booked that day, they squeezed us in and diagnosed and fixed the issue in less than 20 minutes. We are super grateful they helped us between appointments when they could have easily sent us to another shop since they were fully booked, and were generally so nice and welcoming. The ambience of the shop was also great - comfortable furniture to wait, great music (Zeppelin playlist while we were there), nice decorations, and even a friendly shop wiener dog that came over to say hi. Experiences like this on what was a generally great VT road trip, gave rise to a number of conversations where one of us would spontaneously say maybe we should move to VT. Thank you 802! :)
