My sales representative, Connor Griffiths, was a model of what I look for in someone supporting me in making a major purchase such as a new vehicle: very knowledgeable about the vehicle, he provided me with the information I needed and the answers to my questions without trying to sell me on a choice. He updated me continuously when there were developments in his search for my vehicle (in short supply in our region), and he handled all aspects of the transaction with complete competence. He was also friendly and respectful at all times. In short, a joy to work with.

Had a pleasant experience with Dave. Called back and forth for about a month. No pressure compared to other dealerships. Sales tactics weren't shocking.Back and forth. Expected the worst and was proven wrong.Very happy with the car and end experience.Would purchase again.

Connor is a great salesman... He never pushed me in one direction or the other, just have me the details and let me decide. I would send anyone his way! I also had a great experience with Derek the finance manager, he made the process very quick and painless.Any improvement? There needs to be more incentives to purchase. There are so many options out there and if you want to shop around there is plenty to find. This is my 5th vehicle from the same dealership but the incentive isn't that appealing.

Had no problem with sales. They were great. Service however, should be far lower than a 1. I had to bring my car in for a recall, so I had them do an inspection while there. They found my rear brakes needed to be replaced in order to be inspected. I had them do it. Two months later my brakes failed in rush hour traffic. I brought it to my local mechanic and they had to replace the brake line. They said there was no way it could have worn the way it did. It had to have been due to the people who changed my brakes. I called capital city, was told that the manager would call me back. He NEVER even tried! I contacted the Mazda corporation. They told him to contact me. He STILL never did. I can only assume that they don't stand behind their work. It's been almost 3 weeks and no one can be bothered to call me back. All they told Mazda was that no one used vice grips on the line, but someone clearly did something to it. It wasn't near anything that could have caused the wear. I have the actual brake line I could show them if they cared. So now, I'm stuck paying off a brake job on my credit card and ALSO paying someone to fix their screw up. I feel I should be reimbursed for the brake line work.

Connor at Capitol City Mazda was excellent to work with. This dealership didn't play games with their offer on my trade in or waste my time with back & forth offers. I found a few models I was interested in, and Connor helped me with his knowledge of the vehicles to make the best decision for me. I am extremely happy with my experience at Capitol City Mazda, and I love my new car.

I've now had my second awesome experience with Emery Webb at Capitol City VW/Mazda. First I leased my car there a few years ago, and brought my wife with me to complete the transaction. She was so pleased with how smoothly the transaction was completed that she decided to buy her next car through the same dealer. Recently, I bought out my lease, again through Emery, and the process was as painless as it could be. I've also had nothing but positive experiences with their service department.I highly recommend both Emery, and Capitol City VW/Mazda as a whole.-Steven

I recently bought a 2022 Mazda 3 here and the experience was pretty much perfect. Relatively good communication from the sales member through the delivery process and buying the car was quick and easy.The only down sides being this place seems to always low ball by alot for trade-ins, often by thousands of dollars less compared to any other dealer or even the book value of the car, even though you are buying a car from them! The other issue was the fact that extra accessories were added to the car during delivery that I hadn t asked for and ended up costing me about $600 more than what I ordered.Other than that awesome service and love the 2 years of service and unlimited inspections included with the Big Deal+ package. This place has the best car buying experience that I ve been through so far.

I had a great experience purchasing a vehicle at capital city. Granted I was a captive audience. They had what I was looking for at a decent price.I Didn't want to lose the opportunity so I called them at 5:45 to see how late they're open and said I'd come right down be there before six. They stayed late for me and treated me with the upmost respect given that I came in late and disheveled in my torn up shorts straight from yard work. Everyone that I dealt with there was very pleasant and not pushy and I felt like good about buying a car there

Absolutely horrible experience trying to purchase a vehicle with them. First of all when you are just a few cubicles away maybe just maybe not talking so loud about your customer so that they can hear it. That was disheartening to hear as my partner and I were there to purchase a car for her. Yes you didn't know her credit but we were trying to negotiate the sale of the car and were asking about damage on the back bumper. Poor customer service in that aspect and zero respect/regard for customers as well. Which made me irritated as we were told nothing but good things about the associates that work there. Also they were trying to keep my partner's vehicle when nothing was signed. Couldn't find the keys, ripped the back license plate off the vehicle, and had placed buyers guides in the car again when nothing was signed or set in stone. They were trying to tell her come back another day when we wanted nothing to do with the sale of the car from them. This by far was the shadiest thing I have ever seen/heard from a dealership. If I could go lower than 1 star I would, so never again will we be dealing with this dealership

During a recent visit to Vermont from out of state, our Mazda starting shaking while driving. As we were getting ready to head home, it became noticeably worse and we got concerned about its ability to get us home. We called one dealership in Burlington who clearly had no interest in helping us, which was extremely frustrating.But then I called Capitol City Mazda. The maintenance department told me they were pretty backed up but they'd do what they could to let us know if our vehicle was safe to drive. So we made our way down to Barre. They put our car up on the lift straight away and discovered the rear tires were at imminent risk of blowing-out, which was causing the wobble.So we had a coffee in their lobby while they replaced the tires for a price that was totally reasonable. Within an hour, we were back on the road and we got home safely. I am so grateful that Capitol City took our issue seriously and gave it priority. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Both of the sales people I worked with were among the best I spoke with in central Vermont. In the end the person who sold me my used hybrid went above and beyond my expectations to help me access the car at a price I was comfortable with.

This is my second lease at Capitol City Mazda. The first was a Mazda CX30, and now, a CX9. Rod Cook is the best salesman, he knows everything about every car from top to bottom. The leasing process took about 2 hours from start to finish, the finance manager Josh was very good too. The service department is also very good. I will be leasing my cars from Rod in the foreseeable future. Customer Service is #1 to me, and this dealership delivers. Thank you all!

Very very easy, no stress, nothing pushy about CCM. I knew what I was looking for and Conner took care of my purchase in the most relaxed non stressful way some dealerships can make out of even looking.I'm super happy with my new car and super happy with my experience.

We were in the area to have our dog groomed, and ended up buying a CX3. They are THAT good. Really. We are very careful with our money on big ticket items. We feel like we got very good value, but as part of that, and possibly more important, we got peace of mind that we were getting good value, and we got just plain great people skills, support and service.As it happens, the vehicle we bought has been great, but in hindsight, more important was how we were treated. Natalie Dunn is the definition of unpretentious. She is a good listener, unquestionably honest and straightforward. And simple but powerful, a good communicator. Her support persons and other colleagues we met were good, but I would specifically recommend working with her. It was a relaxing, unstressful and positive experience overall.
