The manager in your tire center was extremely disrespectful to me when I was having tires put on my car on 1/6/2024. I was quite shocked at his nasty disposition when speaking to me. If he doesn't like his job maybe he should find something that makes him happy. I will never give any good referrals to this Walmart do just to his nasty attitude. God forbid asking him a question. Wish I would have gotten his name to report him to Corporate. I think I will go back and get his name for reference when I report him to those who hopefully care about their customer service with others that have to deal with him.

Had a flat not long ago! The young man that was there said he hadn t been certified to patch a tire (first red flag) but another gentleman that was there said it was okay they could still fix it because they had already been shown how! ((That s where I should have left) but My cousin and kids were waiting not far from there at a near by park while we went to get it patched they took almost an hour to get it and once it was done he mentioned he had Hit/moved the sensor on the tire so to come back if it needed to be fixed that they d do it for free. Well a couple days pass by the sensor stopped working since we put the tire back on and the tire was completely flat again I have to keep going to fill with air. I called in to try to get an appointment set up and the man who answered said they had nothing until next week so I asked if they do walk ins him stating we do but appointments take priority and everything is filled until next week I asked okay let me set one up but I ll see if I can stop by because I need it fixed asap he replied what seemed like annoyed with come on Wednesday at 11 I stated okay do you need my name or something to set that he hung up! So it was really a quick fix that s gonna go cost me more now (time and money)! 98% do not recommend.

The customer service at the Walmart Tire Center is severely lacking. Despite numerous calls going unanswered, my attempts in-person were met with a 10-minute wait for acknowledgment. The manager, Alan, displayed impoliteness by addressing my concerns from his office chair with a dismissive tone. I've observed inefficiencies, such as a car sitting in the oil bay for 20 minutes, causing a delay for others waiting in line for an oil change. Overall, my experiences with Alan raise questions about his suitability for a managerial role.

The other reviews are true, unfortunately. Subpar customer service. I needed a tire repair, so called and there was no answer. Went into the store and no one was at the front desk, the techs could see the line from the shop window but ignored us. I found an associate from another department who went into the shop and the tech only wanted to relay the message , sorry we already have a customer, we can t help you . He didn t even know what I needed done. The other customers and I just left.

If everything would have gone as expected this would be a 5 rating! After the complete Rodeo I was just put through only a two star rating, one for the amazing price for the items I purchased online & second star for fast ship to store pick up, now for the review in depth! So I spent days researching for a tire that was almost extinct the 8.00 x 16.50, walmart had them at an amazing price of $85 per tire so I bought 9 tires for $829.46 to have them shipped to this location, I needed 7 to be replaced on my motorhome including the spare & I'd have 2 un-mounted for backup spares. I was stoked I got such a deal! After you purchase none stocked tires you have to wait for them to be delivered to the store then schedule to have them installed, the delivery projection date was June 19, 2021 I got an update from FedEx saying my tires had been delivered Tuesday June 8, 2021 so I called the tire center to confirm and confirmation was received, I was told to arrive at 3pm I was super excited the associate I was speaking to asked what type of vehical they were for, the information was given to him and he confirmed the 3pm appointment, so I arrive at 2:45 to check in I was advised my tires hadn't been checked in yet cause there super busy! (They had one car in the bay and other associates sweeping the work space?) I was told once they checked in my tires they'd get my service record going and perform the job, so after 30 minutes of my arrival I'm being told they cant service my vehical because there technicians have never done tires on a 1ton dually motorhome and don't have jacks that can lift my vehical? As I see a 3ton & 5ton jack before my very eyes very well equiped to do the job! Yet I also found these tires due to a Google review at other locations in other surrounding states saying they had this service done on site which lead me there to begin with? So there site says they have "Certified Technitions" yet they can't install my tires after scheduling the appointment because there associates have never done dually tires before? Where did they get there certifications a crackerjack box? Not to mention I took a chance of driving to there location knowing all my tires currently on the vehical were in very poor shape cracking sidewalls, one tire detached from the bead on one of the dually & a spare tire flat not holding air to boot...I was furious at this point knowing I still had to spend roughly another $200+ in mounting fees but being rejected to do the service after taking the risk of a blowout on the way to there location was the worst!!! All staff in that tire center were extremely rude & condescending it was clear to me the employees didn't want to have to earn there wage Tuesday June 8,2021 I'm suprised they didn't use the Covid excuse! So I loaded up my tires and took my business to discount tire who got me in right away & had all 7 tires installed in under 90 minutes $260 later.I spend thousands of dollar's per year with walmart, this transaction alone would have been over a thousand dollar hit! Thanks to this rodeo, I won't be there consumer clown no more, my business has left there building for GOOD....On a good note, the tires were exactly what I needed and my kids get to go Glamping in the hills!

Came for a balance and rotate. They got me in in ten minutes but took an hour and a half to finish.. they have 5 people and the manager. It does not take more than 3 minutes a tire toto balance. They drag their feet and take their sweet time. Unbelievable hiw they waste not only the peoples time but their own. Plus they dont take in consideration your cars care. They set my tires against the paint.

Worst customer service at auto care. Checking in process is horrible. They will tell you 3-4 hours wait even if there are no cars. I recommend Walmart should close this auto shop or change the staff. Manager don t even care to keep an eye on employees what they do. Never coming back to walmart auto.

I truly believe people don't realize you can get a quick, quality oil change for $25 still at Walmart. In and out. Friendly. Clean. I hope this remains a thing forever.

The greeter was very pleasant and seemed to get everything that I asked for I asked for the Pennzoil Platinum Full Synthetic oil change with the highest quality oil filter (Mobile 1 was the only one in stock), and a tire repair. What I got was a Mobile 1 oil change and a walmart oil filter. If I hadn t gone into the bay as they were finishing I wouldn t have gotten the correct oil filter. Unfortunately I didn t notice the brand of oil until I drove away. At least the tire repair was done correctly. On top of this I was charged for 6.2 qts, more oil than the car required (by the book 5.6 qts). The tech s excuse was that the filter was bigger than the one they usually use. Changing the oil many times myself and using a bigger filter doesn t take 0.6 qt more. Maybe 0.1 (or less) more. By the time the lube tech s argument was over, the ACCM did the right thing and refunded the difference. But seriously the lube tech and unfortunately the service writer both need retraining of their jobs. Learn to listen (not just hear) and not be in a hurry. Sad to say when I worked for WM I was trained as an assistant manager at this store and until yesterday thought very highly of the competence of the employees. Unfortunately because of this experience I will never return to this store for any services again. The lube tech needs to be coached on his undesirable communication skills, not only getting heated over the misinformation but he came steaming through the door (while I was getting a refund for the difference) and he was physically mad slamming the door behind him.Services: Tires, Oil change

All the workers would just pass by and ignore me. Angel came out to help me with my tire. He was the sweetest person and really cared. He took the time to help and tell me what was wrong with my tire. This location is definitely understaffed. Angel Deserves a raise for everything hd does.

Alan was a complete pain from start to finish. Argumentative the entire time even though I had my completed order in front of his face. He refused to scan the barcode for 15 minutes of back and forth. Then suddenly decides he's going to check in back. Low and behold the order was right there, with my name and barcode on it. Then we find out that they picked completely different sized tires than what I ordered then. Then he even tried to tack on a double charge for valve stems. Good thing I was watching.Worst experience with Walmart auto I've ever had. Find a manager that isn't going to argue with every customer, holy cow!

Bought 4 brand new tires for my car in the summer. It's winter now and the two fronts need to be replaced already, less than 7000 miles later. Brought the car in to show them and had the employees look at it. They agreed that there was something wrong with no sign of problems with alignment as the wear was even. They called the manager to come take a look and wow. First she took half an hour to bother coming by. Then she immediately informed me that because I bought the tires online (through Walmart) and didn't buy their extended warranty that they could do nothing. When I complained about how the tires are rated for 50k miles and it's been less than 7 she agreed to come take a look at them for herself. She could obviously see the lack of tread and immediately blamed me saying that I have been burning rubber. Uh nice try, it's an AWD car. I also pointed out that the black splatter looking marks on the car are nearly absent from the one side and very obvious on the other and it must just be from a puddle I drove though. Nope, she still said it was my fault and that I was burning rubber. I would have to go to the manufacturer themselves and try and get them to do something about it. "So I'm basically screwed." I said. She was obviously very sympathetic with her response. "Yep." What a joke. Shannon, you are an absolutely terrible manager and example to your employees. I've included a picture of both the front and back tires to show the ridiculous difference. The fronts look like I've hit the 50k mile rating while the backs look almost brand new.

The good: they are never busy, so you can get your car in right away. The bad: they are never busy because they cant handle the basics. They said they couldn't get 3 lug nuts off my tire. I went home and literally got them off in less than 35 seconds which leads me to believe I was discriminated against by wal mart employees... the irony. I was wearing work clothes and was driving my beat up camper van. Maybe they thought I couldn't pay or something? Either way... embarrassing establishment all around. I wouldn't bring a bike tire in to these guys or they might not be able to get it off the rim.

Wouldn't have come in if it hadn't been the only shop open after 2pm on Sunday.Got told an hour and a half to get 4 new tires on my wife's car. 3 and a half hours later we are still sitting in the lobby watching a tech trying to balance the same tire he has been working on for the last 30 minutes. This tire was already installed on the car after being balanced the first time.Having balanced tires myself in auto-shop class in high school, i can say for certain that this is a ridiculously unacceptable amout of time for a simple job.Regardless of the ludicrous amount of time, the estimate being off by more than 100% is worse. If I'd known how long this was going to take, I'd have told them to skip the balancing and done it myself. I will never be back to a Walmart auto center.

I love that Wal-Mart provides auto service! They are usually just as quick as anybody else, and I can do shopping while I wait. During my experience today, Alex found my asthma rescue inhaler where I had foolishly left it on my hood a couple weeks ago. I appreciate him letting me know he found it and that he left it in the center console for me. With great prices and great service, I ll keep coming back.

Do not ever purchase tires from here!! I did on June 3 2018 and even purchased the road hazard warranty on them and this is what they did just over a month later. On July 15 my son noticed that my tire was flat. I work the graveyard shift so my car had been parked in the driveway since that Friday morning. Assuming that I had picked up a nail or something my son took my tire off and took it to the store to get it fixed. When he got there they said they were closing and asked him if we could take it back in the morning to have it fixed, he put the donut on my car and the flat in the back and that night I went to work and when I got off at 7am went straight to the store to get it fixed. They got all the info, pulled my car in and took the tire out. Less than 5 minutes and they bring the tire back in and tell me that they aren't going to repair it because I drove on it flat. It is the front tire so as far as I knew I had not driven on it while flat. They didn't even know why it went flat and refused to fix it saying it is now a hazard to fix it. Are you kidding me? I asked to speak to a manager. The comanager came in and yes I was upset and tired after working all night but he already had his mind made up. While she was getting the manager I looked the tire over and there was no nail or anything so I moved the valve stem and air came out. So I told the comanager that as far as I knew I hadn't driven on it flat but that I would concede that if I did it was their workman ship that was the cause of the tire going flat. He told me that didn't make a difference and they weren't fixing it and the warranty was void on a tire that was just over a month old. They refuse to do anything, no replacing the tire, no fixing it and no giving me the money for the warranty back. I took the tire to another place, they fixed it for about$25and confirmed it was the valve stem. I have called the 800 number and have gotten the run around. I feel they should at minimum reimburse me for the repair but honestly since they tell me my tire is now damaged they should also replace the tire. I have read the warranty and all it says about voiding the warranty is if you abuse it. Well I did not abuse the tired it was not my fault the tire went flat. This is salt lake city with a lot of traffic, if your tire goes flat while driving you can't just stop in traffic for fear of voiding a warranty. In my almost 34 years of driving usually you have to drive a little bit on it if it goes flat while driving so that means that most warranties will be voided. Be careful about them because as far as I can tell they made a judgment call and it was at my expense. I will never again buy tires there and will never recommend it to anyone else.

We called ahead to schedule an appointment to get snow tires. They confirmed on the phone that they had our tires but when we showed up, they didn t have the tires and couldn t even order the ones we wanted. It was literally blizzarding outside and they offered to sell us regular tires...they have cheap prices but I don t think it s worth it. Go somewhere more reliable.

Had to go back there to get the front end greased. Since it did not get done the first time .The paper work showed no grease fittings on my SUV .So any one that has grease fittings on their vehicle needs to request it before the order gets sent in

Very friendly counter staff, got me in right away on a Friday morning. Good price for an oil change. They failed to tell me when the work was done, though, even though I was in the waiting room the whole time. I eventually noticed my car was parked outside the garage area and asked about it. Kind of annoying.

I brought my 2014 car in for a full synthetic oil change for the last 3 or 4 times. The technicians kept advising to get another oil change in 3000 miles. In reality, full synthetic oil lasts 7500miles. I asked them about it over the phone and they were very short with me. Seems like a greedy, dishonest service center. Not impressed.

They made an simple mistake with my car (drained the transmission fluid instead of the oil - yeah, I've done that too), but I was impressed at how they handled it and reimbursed the refill that only the dealership could do. In the end the oil change and dealership check-out was free. I'm only out some of my time.
