Phuc is amazing! I brought a part in to him to install on my Audi S6 and he replaced it in less than 15 minutes! He was very friendly and knowledgeable and cleared my check engine light for free. I will recommend 100%

Phuc is an honest individual. He works hard, is efficient, effective, and an automotive genius. I don t take my wife s 2013 BMW 528i X-Drive anywhere else. Finding a great mechanic is hit and miss and you won t go wrong with this guy. I highly recommend.

You are in luck, because an honest mechanic is VERY hard to find. I've worked with Phuc in the past and he's just down to earth honest and kind in every way. Just gave him a call today about buying a prius and needing to check it before buying and he offered free advice over the phone. He's in the auto business for well over 10 years and well verse in the trade. Highly recommend!

I came here with a few questions and for an oil change. I left with all my questions answered and he made me aware of issues with my car I didn't know about and could fix myself. Great guy who is straight forward. I'm fortunate to have such a great mechanic down the street from me.

I have been taking my vehicles to Unitech for a couple of years now. It was recommended by a friend. The first time I was quoted for a repair and the end cost came back $50 lower than the quote. My truck was done within a couple hours. I was very pleased.Phuc worked on my 2000 F150 a couple times for minor engine repairs, mainly maintenance.He has also done the breaks, suspension, shocks, bearings, upper/lowers, and sway on our 2011 Jeep Wrangler. Again, his prices come in right at or slightly lower than his quote. With our Jeep he suggested and put in top of the line mega parts (I don't know how else to describe them) because we hunt and are rough on our vehicle. Of course he asked us ahead of time and explained why.We purchased a 2018 Lariate rebuilt title off a private buyer in 2021. I had Phuc look over it. He gave the go ahead and didn't charge me for looking at it at all.A few months later I had a recall on the cam sensors so I took it to the dealership. The dealership didn't do the work they said they did so I took it to Unitech to confirm this. Phuc got on the phone with the Ford dealership service department and fought my case so I didn't have to. Again, no charge.Lastly, I had a noise under my truck so I took it to him. He crawled under and within seconds he told me I needed a muffler shop. Whoever rebuilt it put an after market muffler that is too long and they need to cut part of it then weld it back together. I took it to the muffler place. They literally told me that just isn't right but will look. Well, the after market muffler was too long, needed about 6 inches cut off and welded back together.Phuc had found this in a matter of seconds without even pulling my truck into the shop and he didn't charge me.He is so easy to work with and honest. Highly recommended. The owner phuc is a very honorable person. He saved the day for me when others let me down. I will be bringing my business to him and his shop from now on. Would highly recommend to friends and family and would come back 11/10 times!

Referred by a family member. I took my Kia Optima there something to do with my brakes and I also get my oil change done there as well. Trust worthy. Phuc is very honest! After moving to West valley I wanted to find a closer mechanic to help me with a couple repairs! I found unitech automotive since having my car repaired at his shop I've been completely satisfied! He does all my oil changes along with any repairs that I've need! he's very honest and I don't feel like he takes advantage of me for being a single woman coming into a repair shop not knowing anything about cars! He taught me how to check my own oil, water and advise me to keep up on my oil changes! My car has been previously wrecked from a previous owner so there's been a lot work that's needed to be done. Very honest man. I let so excited with the work provided. He even went above and beyond. Definitely the best shop I've been to in Utah. He works fast and very carefully. I went for a emission test and this person his name is Phuc Nguyen the owner told me that he needs to charge me $74.49 just to see what is wrong with my car because of the check engine light on. He charged me for just making the light go off and then it appears again. He make me go 3 times to his shop give me 3 different diagnosis, told me that one diagnose was wrong, and did nothing to my car. No emission no fix on any of the issues NOTHING! I do not recommend going to this place he just steal my money and will do the same to you. Be aware!!In response to your reply. $74.49 just to turn the check engine light off, and knowing that it will come back on again, it s really pricey, you denied service on my car, you never talk to me about any warranty because you never do anything to my car, and you didn t plan to do nothing to it from the beginning, you told me to just change the gas cap and you will do the emissions I did and you didn t do the emissions anyway instead you were looking to find more issues on the car. And finally after making me go 3 times and without any more ways to keep this going on you made up the excuse that somebody touched it and fix it!. It s better to tell the truth and said that you don t know what is wrong with the car or you just don t want to do the emissions on it. Simple as that!

I highly recommend Unitech Automotive. The AC in my Subaru Forester (2016) wasn't cooling when I was traveling in Las Vegas. I took it to Meineke for an AC recharge. They said it was leaking and wanted to charge me $110 just to diagnose the leak. Repair will be extra ranging from $80 to $800, plus AC recharge is about $100. My mom recommended I go to Unitech because she has been going here for years for her 1998 Lexus 300ES. I called Unitech and was able to take my car in the same day. Dropped it off and by the time I got home, I got a text from them with a video showing the AC leak and the cost to repair plus recharge the refrigerant. The total cost was A LOT LESS than what I would have to pay at Meineke. Within an hour, I was able to come back to pick it up. When I got there, I noticed that my SUV was still in the shop with the hood opened. The owner took me to my vehicle and showed me that the oil filter was leaking. Ask if I wanted him to replace the oil filter with no labor charge. Heck yes! He cleaned up the leak and changed out the filter. You can't beat that kind of service. He's honest and professional and gave me a great deal. I'm extremely happy with the service I received and highly recommend them. Its been a long time since I've had an honest mechanic he fixed the issue on my vehicle and did not try to sell me things I did not need like other mechanics. I highly recommend Unitech automotive to anybody and send all my family and friends there. Amazing service great pricing and they do a quality job. I'll never take my vehicles to anybody else again

I took my 21 year old (non running) car to Unitech Automotive on Thursday 6/16/2016 around noon with one major problem and several other problems. By noon Saturday 6/18/2016 Phuc Nguyen (Lead mechanic and owner) had performed 5 different jobs, my car was ready and running like it hasn't run in a long time and the price was very reasonable. I am very happy with the service, quality of work performed, quickness and willingness to solve the problems. I would definitely trust any of my cars to Unitech automotive and definitely recommend the shop to anyone.

We bought a 2012 Subaru Legacy in January and with most used cars it had some minor issues. Phuc does excellent work, is affordable and honest. Have come back twice now!

I had Unitech install a new motor on my wife's Van. When the first motor I ordered arrived he called me and showed me the defects from the company that sent it. So i ordered a new one. He was very easy to work with and made sure that the right parts went into the van, and did not just try to get it out of his shop.Ihave taken multiple vehicles to this shop and always get a good price and even better service. I highly reccomend this shop.

Highly recommended! This mechanic does it all and is very precise and accurate in his diagnostics and repairs. I especially appreciate his integrity and honesty. I take my vehicles only to him unless I am out of town

Phuc Nguyen is the BEST! My dad recommended that I come get my Emission Inspection at Unitech Automotive. Phuc was fast and efficient. I was literally in and out. My time is valuable, so I appreciated his expeditious service. I will and have recommended family and friends to him. THANK YOU UNITECH AUTOMOTIVE AND PHUC!

Fair and honest. At times stretched a little thin. Great quality work. Have referred many friends there with no complaints. Life is not perfect, when I've seen him deal with concerns with others, let alone me it's been very fair. Have been going there for quite some time and will continue to do so.

My 2008 Highlander got a problem with an alarm. If we lock it, the alarm (siren) will go off. The previous owner (my boss) had to drive without locking it since 2008. She brought it to Toyota Dealer to check on it but they couldnt find what was wrong with it. I recently bought it from her with a little scare about the problem. I asked a friend who is a car dealer to help me fix it. He suggested me to Phuc, the owner of Unitech Automotive. I brought it in Sat morning. Phuc tried a couple of different tests n then identified the problem is at the hood. He then did some tricks to bypass the issue to solve the problem while waiting to order the part from the dealer. I am a happy camper already. I'm so excited to take my family for a drive on Easter Sunday! And I havent had to pay yet:) Thank you! (The shop is near Family Dollar store, a building behind a West Valley Billiard, next to a small car dealer. If you get there, you would find a trustworthy service). Highly recommended.
