Ask for Cory. Most trust worthy, honest person. Get it done right the first time with absolutely no worrys. Peace of mind when he fixes my vehicle without emptying the bank. Recommend this place and person over anyone in the salt lake county and further.

I wouldn't waste my time with this place again.They didn't address the issue we took the car in for, they presumed to "fix" the issue and the issue came back before I could even pull into the driveway from picking it up.Next day, took the car back into the shop. They had a temporary "fix",the same issue came back within two weeks of having the car back.They will Nickle and dime you, going down a rabbit hole of running test after test, next thing you know you're in almost $1,000 and nothing is fixed and were still having the same issue we took the car in for the first time. They want you to pay to have diagnostics ran, pay to have tests ran, pay to have one fix to see if its the right fix and then come back and say we need to charge you for this now because that wasn't the issue. The "notes" they kept in their system, were very misleading and not at all remotely close to the truth of what we took the car in for.Needless to say, don't waste your time. Very unprofessional and wouldn't recommend.

This place is AMAZING! I can't believe they aren't booked for days. They did some stuff for my car that most places quoted 2.5-3 hours in an hour and a half! To top it all off, they shuttled me home and back when my car was ready. The owner (I think) treated me courteously and friendly and explained everything. I felt so good with the job they did and would recommend them to anyone!They also washed my car when they were done servicing and I didn't ask for it! My car came back in better condition than I left it. Forever a lifelong customer.

A one-stop shop for all your auto needs. 1st class service, honest, prompt and very knowledgeable. They have been my go to auto shop for the past 5+ years. This place is great. I came in to get just an oil change and a tire rotation. They added in a complimentary car wash and let me know I'd need some breaks pretty soon but didn't make me feel pressured to add the work on today like most shops. The waiting room is spacious clean and there is a TV. I'm so glad I came in today, I think I found my new favorite car shop!

Bought a high quality used car from Brent at a very good price. He made sure it was in excellent condition and performed all necessary maintenance and had it detailed. Equity Auto even took care of a minor mechanical item free of charge. Best of all, they didn t charge extra dealer markups on the sale just passed along the tax, title, and registration fees from the state, and took care of all the paperwork for us! And in these lockdown days, not having to wait at the DMV is priceless.Thanks for an outstanding experience!

This is a great place with great people. Very Friendly and amazing. I bought a car from here and absolutely am in love with it. They have an amazing staff and gave me a great deal. Brent is a great person along with his employees. They give the customer the attention and time. I highly recommend this place.

Popped into Equity Auto today to get some things on my car checked out and too get my car detailed as well. I didn't have an appt but Brent and his staff were more than willing to take care of me right away. These guy's rock and they will be my go to for everything with my car. I highly recommend them and their services. :)

They fixed my moms car and they did a really good job. They even cleaned her car. The inside looks like a new car. It's so shiny and it smells brand new. That was a big bonus. This is going to be my go to place when I need any car repairs

I will be back. After buying a worthless lifetime alignment package at fire stone and having them make up an excuse about a repair needed to my vehicle, I decided to look elsewhere. They could find nothing wrong with the vehicle and brought it into alignment. Something fire stone could not do after three visits! I m glad I found equity auto. They were quick, honest, and friendly.

I got my car cleaned and detailed. They did a great job, my windows could've been a little cleaner, but I left a $20 bill in my center console and it was still there when I got my car back. That's pretty honorable and trustworthy.

Brent sold us a very reliable used 2009 Hyundai Accent at a great price. We were also able to get the emission, taxes and license plates from Brent on the same day saving us time and money. These guys rock - have taken two of our fleet vans in for maintenance and they turned them out quick and for a very fair price. They were able to find a sloppy prior mechanical job (used wrong bolts/washers) that was causing an automatic transmission leak that 2 other reputable shops in the valley could not find and had the vehicle back to me the next day. They have my businesses business for sure!

I purchased 4 tires for my Porsche from TireRack and shipped it to Equity Auto because I found their tire installation quote to be very competitively priced when compared to others with good reviews online. Although this place was a bit far away from my place, I thought I'd give it a try - maybe this is one of those "good to know" auto shop.While my car is being worked on, I decided to do some work in the waiting area. After about 30 minutes into waiting, I had a chance to see the condition of my old tires. Alignment was slightly off as there was more wear on the outside. They recommended me an alignment job and I asked how much it would cost for all four. The gentleman who I was working with told me, "For this car, you'd have to do both front and back so it's $89". Ok, that's fair. That's how much most shops charge for alignment. However, my suspicion about this shop arose when I saw their pricing menu at the entrance of the shop. The menu stated that the 4 wheel alignment was $69. At this point I started to think if they're trying to overcharge me.So about the tire installation: when I ordered my tires online, I was quoted $15/tire so the estimated total came out to be around $68. However I was charged total of $86.66 out the door and I asked for explanation why the pricing came out to be so different than my original quote and this total doesn't seem to reflect the $15/tire install. Lady who was helping me out didn't seem to know what I was talking about and I was in a hurry to be at somewhere else, so I just agreed to pay $86.66 and left.I honestly do not care about the fact that I paid almost $20 more. But what I didn't expect was the fact that the difference between the online quote and the final price came out to be quite substantial. Why not be up front about the pricing online? It's either there were quite a bit of hidden "fees" that they never mentioned nor told me about or the tire installation pricing online is inaccurate. I know tire installations usually cost around ~$80-100 depending on a place (Discount Tire ~$88 out the door). If I knew the total out the door to be this much I wouldn't have traveled this far to install my tires when in first place when I can just go to DT or Costco.After being quoted more than the menu price for alignment and the tire installation fee quite higher than the original quote, I wasn't sure if I wanted to come back to this place because I'm either being overcharged or there's a lack of transparency in their pricing. If it wasn't for this whole thing I think I would definitely come back, but now I'm left with having second thoughts about recommending this place to others.Besides the whole pricing shenanigan, installation went well and work was done within reasonable amount of time. The waiting room was spacious with a single large work table, plenty of chairs, and couch with complimentary Wi-Fi.

A Family Friend recommended me to this business saying they would treat me fairly and like family, and instead I feel like I was taken advantage of. I called them to give me a 2nd opinion because I had already did a self diagnostic on my vehicle. I had called around thinking that I could just get a tune up on my vehicle and that would solve the problem because I had already replaced a few of the itemsThat was recommended to fixing the problem.Equity Auto assured me that their machines would detect the problem and fix it GUARANTEED!! After calling around and getting a few quotes on tune-ups, I called Equity Auto and explained to them what my diagnostic results were. They said to bring it into them and they would do a more thorough diagnostic. I took my car in and after several hours they told me that they had to replace a coil and clean the mass air flow sensor and throttle bottle and do an emmissions. I explained to them that I jad already replaced the mass air flow sensor and it didnt need emmissions because it had already had one. So they deducted the emmisions off and then proceeded to tell me it was not the coil that their machine detected, but that it was actually an injector that was a bit more money than they had quoted me in the 1st place. After all was said an done, I ended up paying almost twice as much as I would have if I just done the tune-up in the 1st place which would have fixed the problem. They ended charging me for cleaning a brand new injector, cleaning a brand new mass air flow sensor and also charged me for a diagnosis that I had already told them was the problem in the 1st place.....plus the diagnostic fee should have went to fixing the repairs.....at least that's what every other professional business does in my experience. It doesnt take an hour to do a diagnostic. Especially since everything on the diag was the very thing I told them was wrong with the car in the 1st place. I will never return to the business nor would I recommend anyone of my friends or family to this Business if you can call them that. I wish there were more honest people in the world today. They took twice as long as expected to give me bad advice after really barely looking at my car. Charged me for a diagnostic and Told me they filled my fluids (went in for an oil change). Told me I needed $1000 worth of work done and sent me home with my antifreeze totally empty.I ended up at Keith's Automotive for a quote on the work and was told it would cost half as much but that my car didn't really need it anyway, just antifreeze and Keiths told me this and filled it for me for free! Free diagnostic instead of being charged $100 for bad information. Trust me- go to Keith's Automotive instead!
