I am so thankful for Back Shop Auto. They helped me get my car in quickly and were so kind and considerate with any silly questions I had. They answered every single one of my anxious calls and gave me the reassuring answers I needed. I m also amazed how quickly they were able to fix my car up! When I came in to pick up my car they explained everything perfectly to me I really do appreciate shops like this. Really great staff all around, I will definitely continue taking my ugly Betty here, she s get treated well like the queen she is!

They are so helpful, I have been to a few places and I haven t felt they were to trustworthy. Back shop auto has have been servicing my car for a few years now and can trust what they tell me. I like that they have the ability to retain employees as well .

This place was fast and friendly. I came in for an emissions test and was in and out in 20 min. The staff was extremely friendly!

I ve had a few experiences with Back Shop Auto over the past 2 years and every single time, they are honest, don t try to upsell me or tell me I need other things done. As a young woman this is so important and appreciated. Alex, the service manager is amazing and so friendly. They are constantly busy but will always do their best to get you in quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend!

My car was not gaining any speed when I was trying to accelerate. I took my car into Back Shop Auto for the very first time. My car is running great, I actually have wind blowing through my hair now. Yay! Greg was terrific. Whole staff is terrific and friendly. I have been coming to this place for my car for almost 30 years. These guys are absolutely amazing! When they tell me something needs to be fixed they show me the problem and they fix it and fix it right. I HIGHLY recommend back shop auto to anyone. Even if I lived far away I would drive just to have them fix my car!

I brought my van here a while back for motor mount replacement and it was excellent. People were nice and the work was done well for a decent price.However I called earlier this week trying to make an appointment, was instructed to just "drop by" to assess the problem before making an appointment.When I came in the staff was not friendly and acted like I had planned on dropping by when "I knew Alex was gone." Then when they looked at my van they didn't really give it a fair shake on diagnosing it, and wrote off the massive transmission leak I have due to some other oil leaks.They should have just had me make an appointment from the office and I would have come back another time. Instead they disparaged me and my van and told me to leave and make an appointment (which is what I was trying to do in the first place). I won't be coming back and will probably have to fix the problem myself instead of giving them my money. Their loss, I suppose.Service: Engine repair

This place is incredible. I heard from a friend that they were good and when my brakes started grinding I decided to take my car there and try them out. They were so friendly and worked me into an obviously busy schedule. Pricing was great and I didn t feel like I was being scammed into things I didn t need like at some of the chain stores. I know very little about cars and always feel out of my league when I need work done and everyone there was so helpful and friendly. Plus when I came back to pick up the vehicle they d topped everything off, cleaned the mirrors and windows, AND vacuumed out my disgustingly messy interior free of charge. This is the place I will always take my car to from now on.Services: Auto brake repair, Brakes

I have been a service advisor at 2 different dealerships (Toyota / Hyundai) and can say Back Shop Auto has the best prices, time for repairs/maintenance, honesty and customer relations. Travis always puts a smile on my face, and the staff is welcoming and keeps me informed on my vehicles status.I saw a complaint here that it was $90 for a diagnostic on a vehicle.. (Techs don t work for free, you re paying for their knowledge so you don t have to rewind every 10 seconds on a YouTube video). Both dealerships I worked at charge 220 for diag, so yeah Back Shop is hands down best shop you can choose for your car.You won t come close to finding better at a name brand dealership.Service: Oil change

The workers are friendly, they are not trying to "push" you out of the shop, conversation is enjoyable with them. I appreciated that they called me with service recommendations and pricing before doing the work (I did have a Situation with another business where that did not happen). My vehicle is running well. I plan on taking my vehicle back soon to get some other needed services completed because they were great.

Very frustrated, brought in my car Saturday and was greeted nicely and they looked at my car and said to call back in Monday morning to set up an appointment for this Tuesday. So I call this Morning and they tell me we can't look at your car until Friday. You tell me you can fix it Tuesday and I call in Monday to schedule that appointment and it gets pushed to Friday. That is a big gap from Tuesday. Why didn't they book my appointment on Saturday while i was there. That is poor customer service. Please address this so someone doesn't get overlooked like myself in the future. I was going to give you my business and have them fix my car. But looks like you can't seem to figure out when it can get done. I understand if you're busy, but don't promise me something to get done on Tuesday and push it off to the end of the week because of lack of communication on your end. Be straight upfront. I would have understood that you were booked until Friday. But now I found a place that has officially scheduled me and I can get my car done on Tuesday. Your guys were nice and super helpful but these are the things that drive people away.

Always friendly and take time to explain what is broken and how to fix it so I can avoid extra charges. If I can't self fix my vehicle they take care of me. no complaints. Prices are VERY reasonable for the work. My baby has incredibly improved performance and smoother ride sense taking her to this shop. Will not change my mechanics anytime soon.

The owner and his staff are some of the nicest, most honest car mechanics I have ever met. I have used this business for years, and I always leave amazed. They are ALWAYS transparent and kind. I love that they help me to understand the work they are doing. I've gone here for around twenty years and drive across the valley to do so. They're professional, timely, God at what they do, super nice, and even fun. Oil changes and emissions/inspections have mostly been what I've gone there for, but they've done repairs and tire changes, too. Travis had often been who's helped me. He's really neat. Other guys are, too. The guy from Mississippi recently went out of his way to clean my license plate and removing old stickers before putting on the new one, and then he noticed I needed a new month sticker and went back in to get one and again removed the old one, cleaned the plate, and placed the new one--all at the very end of the day. I'm way impressed and always have been.

I had a high-pitched noise coming from my vehicle. Alex was just coming to work, I caught him in the parking lot, asked him about the noise, he knew what it was, put some oil in my vehicle and I was off to work and he was just starting his day. Best experience I have had with auto repair shops. I'm coming back.

Ever since I went there I am saving a lot on gas almost 3 weeks since I had to put any gas in my tank, it was well worth it and they got me new spark plugs when they didn't have too, so yeah place is great!!

I deliver auto parts to this location, this group of men very friendly, and they always have good candy and chocolate for me. One time this guy s wife made peanut butter cookies for his birthday and when I went in there, they he me two cookies because peanut butter cookies are my favorite.

Let's start with the first vehicle I took there, only for safety and emissions. I walked outside while they where doing the safety part and heard some pretty heavy hammering going on under my truck they then tell me I have a bad ball joint on that same side. Then a later my daughter takes here car there for front brakes. Before even pulling the the in they I form her she needs to replace the front rotors or they won't honor the warranty. The car had fairly new rotors already. Now to the last car I paid to have a fuel pump out in. 9 months later it suddenly stopped running. No fuel. I am disabled so it has taken me another 9 months to get to it myself. What I found was shocking. They put in a pump only and the hose was positioned so it would fall off after a while. Which it did.you could tell the clamp was only on a fraction of the hose. I also found that they had broke the gas fume vent elbow that goes to the canister. And trying very poorly to repair it which explains the extra time on repairs. When I went to pay I also found out there business license had expired. So not only are they shady mechanics they are shoddy one also.NEVER take your vehicle there.And now you try to attack integrity of your ex-customers with that type of response. As far as not hearing from me about it you did. And again not to my satisfaction. I have posted pictures this time. Maybe you should Google how to install a fuel pump.

It was my first time here at Back Shop to get my brakes & rotors replaced. Greg and his team did a great job at taking their time with my vehicle. My brakes were at the point of squeaking! Now, no more squeaking! I even scored 2 free tickets to Real Salt lake game ! Thanks again Greg and Back Shop Auto! I'll be going here for future auto repairs!Service: Brakes

Terrible place to take your vehicle! Took it in because of a leak from the power steering fluid, they said it was the pump and quoted me +$500 to replace it. I left my car there, next day I get a call saying they can't fix it because the old one doesn't match the new one but they still charged me $120 for an oil change that I didn't go in for. Took it to another place and it was a loose hose, no charge and it's fixed. Thanks BACK DOOR Auto

These guys have amazing service! We have most all our family going there. They are honest and do things right. Instead of fixing a car on its last legs/wheels to earn the money they tell us straight up, you need a new car. (Or used and in better shape than this one.) I appreciate the integrity. The team also works well together. And the customer service is the best!

My grandfather started using this company and then my mom did! I'll be bringing my own car here as well! They really do care of their customers. We recently had an expensive repair and they tried their hardest to keep it below a certain price. We ended up paying almost $200 less than what we were expecting. They'll help you out with everything that you could possibly need. We have never had a bad experience ever and they will definitely have a new customer with me! I highly recommend this place!
