These guys are GREAT. No hassle, no pushing for extra charges, just straight to fixing your car. And at a competitive price too!They said I needed my spark plugs replaced, they did it, and then I was on my way. Easy as that. And they did a really good job with it.WARNING: they don't really explain what they're doing in too much detail. But if you don't really care about knowing *exactly* what they're doing, then it's not a big problem at all.

My car would not start one day and even after installing a new battery it still would not start. I chose to have my car towed to Service Auto Expert because it is a bit closer to me than my regular mechanic, and because they said they could look at the car the next day on Saturday. After they installed a new fuel filter they said the car started right up, so I took it home. The same day I took it home, I went to a local laundromat and when I came out, the car wouldn't start again. The next day I went back to where I had left the car and it started up. I drove the car for a few days without any problems, and then one day after driving it home I went out to run an errand and it wouldn't start again. This time I had the car towed to my regular mechanic, and he diagnosed that my fuel pump was failing and needed to be replaced. While my fuel filter may have needed replacement, because Service Auto Expert did not do a complete diagnosis of the problem (and recommended I change my spark plugs instead of the fuel pump), I had to pay for another towing charge and lost the use of my car for almost two days while it was being fixed again.

German, the owner (?), saved the day! He got my 3rd vehicle, which had been sitting in the driveway for over a year with a bad battery, going again like new. I took it in for a tune-up, and he said, "Let's check it over first. You may not need a full tune-up and might save you some money." He was so right! I saved at least $1,000+ and got everything running smoothly. He's fast, honest, and good at keeping in touch. Answers the phone, which is rare.The place looks deceiving. Vehicles everywhere! But, don't let that put you off. He and his crew do amazing work. Never will I go anywhere else from now on! Thank you!!!

I really like this place, I think mostly because of the service & the friendliness of this place...also it was in a good location for the right time...I was happy with the ability to fit me into the schedule on short notice,!!!A major plus in my books...I will gladly take my car back for other issues because it turns out this shop is great at what they do....I was lucky to have found it...The shop owner even gave me a reliable towing company to call...No tricks involved....a real good placeMaybe you will have a similar experience if you need help...Ps.I brought in a 2014 Cadillac for an ENGINE over heating issues...Something to do with a Hose line...The Mechanics here saved me some much needed time...And a bit of money too...Lol

Brought in a salvaged car that I was thinking of buying but wanted to make sure wasn't a lemon. Guys took a look at the car fast, told me it was fixed well and gave me the confidence to purchase. Great service here!

When I bought my car, the previous owner warned me about a problem that no mechanic had been able to figure out. It got progressively worse over the next 5 years and I finally took it to Service Auto Expert. German started with the smallest possible repair and we figured out through trial and error exactly what the issue was. It took me bringing the car back 3 times but I am so grateful for the transparency along the way of everything he was doing to try to figure out the issue. These guys are the best. I have brought several cars to them over the years and they are always reasonably priced and fair. They stand by their service and I always feel like I can trust them. They inspect everything and only do the work that actually needs to be done, not just everything the dealerships say you have to do. I even recently bought a used car and had them look it over before I bought it. They called me right away and gave me an honest summary and advised me to buy it. I would send someone there any day!

Absolutely incredible service--I'm so thrilled I happened upon this shop. I am super impressed with the peerless service and happy atmosphere at Service Auto Expert. I cannot imagine working such a physically demanding job while being so positive, but these guys somehow do it every day. The price was more than fair--I walked out feeling like I was treated exceptionally well and I paid hardly more than an oil change. And this was a Saturday, mere hours before they closed before the weekend.Now forgive me, but aside from refueling and a tire change, I know nothing about cars. I had my car serviced for an oil change today (Saturday afternoon). They brought me out to show me that my engine is flopping all over due to one missing and one loose bolt on one side of my engine mount. No wonder my car has been shifting hard... In a panic, I did a google search to find any shop that might happen to be open on Saturdays, and I came across these guys and their incredible reviews. There was no answer when I called, but about 20 seconds after hanging up, German called me back and told me they'd be happy to get me in.I brought my car straight over, and was concerned to see how incredibly busy they were--cars were coming in and out of the parking lot and all their bays were full. German set the expectation that they would try to get to it before they closed, which was totally fair considering I rolled up a few hours before closing on a Saturday. They explained I'd need an entirely new engine mount soon, but they could replace the bolts so I could drive it in the meantime. They gave me a quote on the work, and an estimate for the future repair as well. I came back a few hours later, my car was done and German handed my keys to me with a smile.German and the other employees clearly valued my time, and made sure I knew what to expect moving forward. I will definitely be back for the engine mount replacement and any other work I may need done, and I'll be recommending this shop to my friends and family as well.

Mike no longer owns this business and hasn't for a few years now! I have been going to TU Car care and working with Mike (the original owner) for years with anything any of my vehicles needed. They were always very honest and fair with prices. The staff was very helpful. I recommended them to everyone I knew. The owner who Mike sold this shop to a couple of years ago couldn't quite give the quality TU Car Care had before, in early 2016 for the first time ever I had to take my truck back because someone had cross threaded 3 of my lug nuts (rookie mistake) while putting my wheel back on. They ended up doing the right thing and fixed it but I was treated as if they didn't believe me and that I must have done it my self (I laughed and told them that I didn't have anything strong enough to cross thread my lugs, all I have is a tire iron) (I wish I had an impact gun). When I explained that I knew Mike and was a long time customer and that he could verify that I had never done anything dishonest I was informed that "Jordan" had purchased the company from him and that Mike had retired. I have not gone back since. I'm guessing Jordan lost the business or gave up because in late 2017 I noticed that there is now a new owner who has repainted and fixed the place up pretty good. I hope they work out because I need some more work done soon. I will update

I've brought cars to these guys for quite a few years now, and they've always taken good care of me. My dad was a mechanic, as well as my father-in-law, and TU Auto is a lot like his shop. Not some fancy "brand" name, but good, fair, and above all, HONEST service. It would be easy to be selfish and not write a good review so they won't get TOO busy, but a fact is a fact. I would recommend them to anyone.

German and Lance are great. Every time I go here I know that they will take care of me. I can ask them questions about my vehicle and they are always up front and honest. I can't go anywhere else to have anything done on my car. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Thanks for the great work and service!

I've been using Ferrel and Jordan as my mechanic for ten years. They are amazing! They work very fast, and are the most honest and inexpensive mechanic I've ever seen. They never try to talk you into services or repairs you do not need, but will let you know of any potential problems you may not have known about. They frequently complete work for less than quoted. I've brought many real life friends here and they are always blown away, I cannot recommend this place enough for any car care needs you have, they are simply the best.

I went to get my Jeep lifted for the first time. I had no idea what I was doing, I was missing parts, plus I forgot to pick up some bolts from the 4x4 store once I got the missing parts. Had my 1996 Chevy truck worked on. Showed up really late after hours to open the fence and have the tow truck drop it off. Since it was in the shop to get the fuel pump replaced, I added a plethora of other stuff to go ahead and get done while it was in there. Really fast turn around time. I was very happy with their service. Great people to work with. There are my official go-to for all my automotive needs.

Hands down amazing! Jordan is personal, honest and nice. We have been getting our cars fixed here for 15+ years. I moved out of state and when I come into town I get my cars work done here. The prices are the best you will find for the best work around. You will not find a better place or better people to work on your car.

Helpful, friendly, capable and honest. Brought my vehicle in after experiencing a cooling system problem. They worked me in to their busy schedule to identify and resolve the issue. A pleasure to work with.

Will definitely come back to this shop for all of my car needs! Went there with the expectation that I would have to get a new starter, battery cables, and terminal connectors. (Even with all of that combined with the battery installation service from Amazon they were still the most affordable out of all the places I called.) Very fast and HONEST service even though there were 4-5 cars in front of me and missing one tech they called after about 3 hours saying it was done and that they changed the battery I purchased through Amazon and only had to clean the terminals and add new connectors, they even went the extra mile and put electrical tape over the battery cables that had some copper wiring exposed. Had to pay extra for the battery cleaning service and new terminal connecters which I was totally fine with since my car wasn't starting in the first place! FANTASTIC! 10/10 Phenomenal! Best car shop I have ever been to in Utah, anyone has car issues this is the place to go. Seriously.

Car would only start with a jump. Battery acid leaking everywhere and a couple of cables looked like they were going bad. Dropped my car off at 8am and the whole thing was done by 10 and it was pretty inexpensive. They also changed my head light while they were at it. They came highly recommended and I will definitely be going back.

After another popular mechanic place tried to charge me for things my car didn't even need I took it to Jordan and his crew for a second opinion. They treated me right and honest, reported the other place to the county. I've been taking my car here ever since. They are honest and and will get the job done right.

I just brought my car in spur of the moment to get the emissions done and Mike at TU took it and had the emissions done in 10 minutes. I had a great experience. He is very honest and a great place. I've also had my oil changed here before. Both times I've had a great experience.

I was referred to TU car care a few years ago. I've taken several vehicles to them and have always been happy with what they done and they never overcharge. There have been times they have even given me genuine help without charging me when I brought in vehicles to be fixed. It is really nice to have an honest auto mechanic that I can trust and I highly recommend them to anybody.

We brought a car we were looking at buying to him because it was a branded title. He was busy but moved the car he was working on so we wouldn t have to wait for him to look. He explained everything very clearly and and gave us straight forward answers and advice. He was so kind and very professional.

Honest, cheap, and they don't have a "minimum" fee just to pop the hood open like a lot of places do (at a dealer I had to pay $90 for them to tell me that the burning smell I noticed was just a plastic bag melted to the bottom of the engine and that it would just burn off). I had them rotate my tires and on the way home I noticed one wheel was squeaking . Took it back in the next day and they took care of it no problem, free of charge.

I highly recommend TU Car Care! I took my car to have it inspected and asked them to change the breaks, I was sure they needed to be replaced. When I picked up the car they told me my breaks were in good condition and there was no reason to replace them. It is nice to know you have an honest mechanic working on your car. They work on all my cars and are excellent people to deal with.

I had diagnosed a problem in my son's vehicle and got a bid from them for much less than the other shops I called. I took it in and they found that the problem could be fixed for about one tenth the cost of the original bid. It's tough to find good, honest mechanics but Service Auto Expert is both.
