Garbage .I went just to get an emissions. Next thing I know it was like an octopus attacking my car. They went crazy on one car, then caused my power to become low due to a loose battery cable. How did they miss that, and checked everything else is beyond me. No more service from this company. Too much, keep it simple. Those young people aren t getting paid enough anyway. Garbage Lube

I ve been doing oil changes at this location for the past 3.5 years since it s been in a convenient location for me. I had given this location a 5 star review but after a terrible experience, I ve decided to change the rating.On the latest occurrence, I decided to get $1,100 worth of work done here (I know I could have shopped around and got it done for cheaper but decided that I hadn t had any issues with them in the past and that it would be nice getting all the work done then and there, plus I knew my car was a bit overdue on some of the maintenance).Well after this last visit, I started driving and about half way home (10 minutes away) I realized that my tire pressure indicator was on. I pulled over and saw that my rear tire was almost completely empty, so I filled it up at the nearest gas station and realized that the tire valve stem core had come loose and was spewing out air. This had to have come loose when Jiffy filled up my tire. When I called and complained to the manager the next day that my tire could have been ruined, he took no accountability (multiple times) and blamed it on me saying that I could have hit a nail or rock. I said either he s an idiot or I am to think that I couldn t spot if the tire had been punctured or that he could think that my valve core could come loose by a nail or rock.I also noticed that a weird sound had occurred and when I went in the next day to get the valve core tightened, I told them about the sound and they told me that it was the CV axle. I said that didn t sound right because the sound sounded like it was coming from the back. They told me no and chuckled (insinuating that I was dumb). The only glimmer of positivity of this experience was that I asked for a partial refund and the manager gave me $100 back.When I took the car into an actually competent mechanic, they told me the CV axle was fine and that my car was making that sound because the back two tires weren t tightened properly. Well guess who just rotated my tires only a few days before that? You guessed it, Jiffy did.So when Jiffy kept not taking any accountability and questioning my competence, I hope this story confirms to anyone reading this, that in fact, they are the ones that are inept because they almost ruined not only my tire, but also my two back wheels because of that impotence! The common denominator for all my problems was Jiffy. No place is worth going back to after making such critical and simpleminded mistakes. I will not be going back here!

I'm never going here again. They messed up my oil change...They removed all the oil from my car, and forgot to replace the oil. My car kept stalling on the way home and when I finally arrived home I smelled burning, when I opened the hood they had left one of their oil covered wrags sitting on top of my engine. I removed the oil dipstick and it was dry. I called and they said they can come out to help fix it. When they came out their manager Lawrence poured oil into my car, and that just spilled out the bottom and got all over my garage floor. He promised several times they would come out to clean it. I called today and they said they would come out within the hour. 3 hours later they still haven't arrived. I called again and Lawrence said they are still planning on coming out. After almost 2 hours I called again and they didn't answer. I called two more times after that and still no answer. I had my son call and they answered right away. He said their guy was 10 minutes out. But half an hour later and still hasn't arrived. They close at 6 and it's 5:30.

Came in for an oil change and they suggested my filter be changed in my engine. It needed it because it was dirty. However when they put it in they snapped my housing for my air flow unit and filter. Cost me $450 to fix. They will never touch my car again. Mechanic even stated on report that it was broken at the time it was replaced. Stay away from there for anything more than oil. Super disappointed I should have been reimbursed for the cost of the parts they broke !!

Multiple times now I have come to this location and they offer to replace small things and say that the have the part in stock and make it sound like it is an easy thing to just add on. But it always turns out that they don't have the part on hand they have to get it from another site and the whole process ends up doubling or even tripling the wait time. I wish they would just be up front about not having the parts on hand and how long it is actually going to take

I have been to several Jiffy Lubes and will never return to this one. After I left my service inductors where turned off and my AC whistled I took it somewhere else and they said they had tampered with my vehicle! I went in for an oil change and when I refused to buy the large number of things they said where wrong my car magically had issues I am still trying to get fixed months later. This is slimy and disgusting I came here to save time and the ended up taking more of my time and more money I had and still have to spend elsewhere.

Stewie greeted me in my car, took about five minutes. Got all the information he needed in a professional manner even though I was recording him. I tried to upload the video but it did not allow me to. My entire visit took 24 minutes, pretty fast I think, but I was the only one there. Tishelle, talked to me after the initial inspection was done. She did a good job explaining what the problems were and how it effected my car. I had an oil change done, emissions and registration. I think they did a good job overall.

Rigo was very good to me. He had OPEN communication. When something was needing replaced other than the wanted rotary/break replacement. He SHOWED me the issues too and why it needed to be replaced(my locked calipers). He also EMATHIZED and tried to work with me on my car needs. My only issue was the wait time on car repairs and how quick the prices can jump up.

It seems like they are charging for a lot of different things that they didn't used to, on top of my oil change they charged me for the oil filter and $4 supply fee for their shop. They also have stopped vacuuming your car or they just decided not to vacuum mine. Really disappointed!

Today I took my girlfriends car over here. I worked at jiffy lube for years and am very versed in how this company runs. I usually use the location in herriman by Winco foods due to knowing the management very well. We did the emissions, and oil change at this location. No check engine light was on before bringing it in. It passed the emissions where they had marked no check engine light was indicated and no codes where found present on the emissions paperwork.They also never indicated a check engine light on the Roc inspection when they tried to tell us multiple lies regarding break fluid, and brakes were low(just replaced on 10/15). The person I spoke to told us they wouldn t even try and attempt to look at it and tried giving me an auto enhance card and telling me it was our responsibility to pay for the check engine light they created. I know well enough after being a manager at this company this is not how things are supposed to go. I took it over to Garrett at the herriman location where he took the time to actually look and see what the issue was and not automatically try and blame us for something we didn t do. Poor management at this location.

Spot Emissions was done lickety split, in half the time. Miracle two employees quit yesterday and they still got me out in less time than expected. Andrew Jensen is one of a kind! He should be on the fast track to corporate bc he exemplifies outstanding customer service and his foresight made all the difference in my day and schedule! Thanks Andrew! Your top notch

So there is a very large sign outside of the Jiffy Lube advertising a $64.99 synthetic oil change. I go in, get my synthetic oil change and the cashier tells me I owe $110 for the oil change (plus lots of other fees). Then they proceed to tell me that I didn t get the correct synthetic oil change. I tell them their sign doesn t say that and that the sign is very deceiving. He proceeds to give me $22 off which isn t enough and tells me that he ll talk to his manager about the sign. Honestly, that s fine, but they ve just lost any sort of repeat business. This is bait and switch and poor customer service. If you have a sign outside of your business, you should honor it. Telling people once they ve purchased the service that they didn t purchase the correct synthetic oil change is dishonest.

I m pretty disappointed in the service I got here. It took a while to get an employee to even talk to me. Once they engaged they were nice enough.The checkout process is a little annoying as their business model is to upsell you in everything they can. When I was finally checked out, I was charged around $60 even though the sign out front the oil change was $35. I asked about it and then they added a code to bring it down. If you have a big sign out front, the customer shouldn t have to remind you of the price.After getting my car back and getting on the freeway, I noticed a strange noise I had never heard before. After checking, the plastic under the car was not attached properly. I wasn t at a point where I could fix it or even take it back to this location to get it fixed. I ended up having to remove some of the cover with a knife because it made driving very miserable. I have never had an issue like this before but I will not be going back to this location.

Sophia was the best mechanic and was super helpful when it came to ringing up my partner and I. She was super helpful and friendly. This is by far the best Jiffy Lube location I've been to.

Went there for an oil change and to get a new bulb inserted for my headlight. They didn t even switch the headlight out! Super upset, I spent $26 for it and now I have to pay to do it myself!

**UPDATE** BEWARE of short cuts and not doing the job properly! I ve realized the greasy foot prints and finger prints are the least of my worries. First service was an oil change and differential work. Second visit for emissions I mentioned a leak of some type of oil and they said it was the transfer case I was told they tightened the seal & topped off the fluid. If I had further leaking I was told to bring it back in for a new gasket. I took my van into Toyota for a second option. They found NO gasket on the transfer case - no wonder it was leaking!!! And on top of that they found used gaskets on the differential. Crush gaskets have to be changed to new and not re-used. Seems jiffy lube isn t competent to do the job properly. I d give 0 stars if I could. Now I m paying more $$ to get the job done right. Lesson learned. Will not be returning!ORIGINAL REVIEW:I ve been to the West Jordan jiffy lube twice in the past 2 1/2 months. First time was for an oil change, second for emissions. Each time they were quick & timely with the services needed, but each time I got back in my car to find black grease marks on the car mats, steering wheel, and door handles. I should not have to go home and scrub my car mats after having my car serviced. It s very unfortunate and unprofessional to return a car dirtier than it came in. I wish they would take 2 seconds to lay down a paper protector :(Service: Oil change

I visited the Jiffy Lube at 1735 W 9000 S for an emissions test. I arrived when there were a handful of cars waiting to be seen. I was told 35 to 40 minutes. Reasonable, considering I arrived just after 5:00 pm on a Monday. I was surprised when the vehicle in the bay I waited for pulled out and it was 25 minutes before another vehicle was pulled in; driver drop-off. I guess they figured since the driver wasn't coming back right away, there was no hurry to get it done, even though two cars were waiting behind it with drivers inside.I won't pretend to understand the intricacies of auto service. However, it seems to me that the crew working on this particular day was moving especially slow. It took an hour to get my car into a bay. Once I was in the bay, a test that normally takes 15 to 20 minutes only took 5 minutes to complete (somehow).Overall, not super impressed with Jiffy Lube's service today.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Pulled up, all stalls were full but then I was next in line. I had to be somewhere so I asked how long it would take to get an oil change. I was quoted 15 minutes but after I gave a surprised look he told me 20 minutes. It was 30 minutes before my car was even pulled into the bay. After an hour of being there my car was done. I have white interior and when I got out to the car the passenger seat was folded all the way down and I had this black mess everywhere. I only realized I should probably probably take a picture after wiping everything down except the center console. This is a brand new car, I was very disappointed and don't typically have a problem with Jiffy :(EDIT: They asked me to email them personally, did and NEVER responded.Service: Oil change

I went in for registration/emissions and to get my oil changed. As I was checking out, one of the mechanics came up and showed me a stripped lug nut and said that a new one is just a couple of bucks. So I said sure and proceeded to check out. When I got home, I found a locking wheel nut that clearly wasn t meant for my car. A locking wheel nut is a lug nut that s smooth on the outside so it can t be removed by a standard wrench. You need a unique key in order to remove it. Luckily, someone I knew had a key and was able to get it off. As you can see in the pictures, the locking wheel nut was put on crooked, so when it was taken off, my car was left stripped and now I m missing a lug nut. If I hadn t noticed this, I would ve been screwed if I got a flat tire and needed to put my spare on.Why did these guys put a locking lug nut on my car? It doesn t make any sense. I m guessing they put this on intentionally so that I would have to go back and pay the service fees to get it fixed. It was put on crooked and it wasn t even put on all the way it clearly didn t fit my car. This is really shady business and I would avoid this store. I m reporting a complaint to corporate and I hope they haven t done anything else to my car.

This place is horrible. They lied to me that they changed differential oil and charged me money for that. Also, the car had engine air filter left open, it was not screwed after they changed a new filter. These guys do not know what they are doing, not professional. If you want to screw your car and willing to pay extra money for what they lie then go.

I had to buy 4 tires while on vacation. They said it would be 45min. After an hour and a half I asked and they said they had to get different balance weights. It took 2 and a half hours. I headed for the freeway when I realized they weren t balanced. I called and went back. Again, he said it would take 15 minutes. It has been an hour and I still don t have my car.Service: Tires

My experience was horrible, not only at the end of my service was I talked bad about in front of other customers/employees by Ken. (He didn t realize my window was still down) but the service on my car was horrible as well.They got some type of oil on my seat and mats, they didn t vacuum/window like the service I purchased comes with. They didn t even turn my service light off. (So now I m not confident it was done correctly) I ended up paying more and still haven t been able to get a straight answer of why it went up in price. I had to used an online $20 off coupon and so it brought the price down closer to the original price.Service: Oil change

Spent over 3 hours here to get my two cars registered and change a battery. The front desk person had no idea what was going on and almost overcharged me. I got in to one of my cars to leave and my glove compartment was completely off it s hinges! We told the tech about it and they fixed it, but they had to put our air filters back in still! After everything, driving home the car was making strange high pitch noises. And now, two days later, the engine sounds TERRIBLE and the car won t go over 50 mph. Additionally, for some reason they changed the clock on both of my vehicles and all of my radio presets were gone. They also didn t even vacuum up anything in either of my cars. I will not be going to this Jiffy Lube ever again.Service: Battery

Great experience.I've been having an adventure trying to get some aftermarket rims and tires installed.They spent 2-3 hours of their time trying to get things to work, but they said they didn't have the equipment to finish the job.I tried to pay them for their time, but they absolutely refused.Other mechanics would have charged $100 to even look at it, so I really appreciate their generosity.Service: Tires

Jiffy Lube did a great job in taking care of me this time. Maybe it's just this location, but the manager was very friendly. Normally I feel like I'm being scammed when I take my car somewhere because the attendant wants to up-sale everything to me, however their manager was very honest and friendly with me about topping off coolant, replacing my air filter, etc. He also made me aware of a current promotion they are running on oil changes that I didn't know about coming in. So he saved me money I didn't know I could save, was honest and friendly. For that he well deserved his 5 star review I'm posting.

I've been going to this location since 2012, and it has always been good ~2020Oh my, that was a huge price increase for an oil change. Even my internet coupon couldn't help.This location always has the most polite, professional employees though, I do appreciate that ~2024

Terrible experience! I showed up at 5:30 and they close at 6:00. I asked how late they do oil changes and he said he guessed he could do it. He said they are required to do oil changes until closing. I asked how long it would take and he said about 15 minutes. I told him that works because he ll be done before closing then, and he said I guess while rolling his eyes. Never coming back to this Jiffy Lube again. You would think people value their jobs and would want to work. Zachery needs to learn customer service and not be so rude to the customers that give him a job.-Update - I called the Utah corporate office and they were good to make it right by redoing at another location.
