Dave's has a lifetime warranty on their work. And they honor it! In 2013 I had them replace the trunk on my Mazda3. They did an amazing job with it, and matched the color perfectly. 3 months ago (about 11 years after the repair), the topcoat on the trunk started peeling off. No idea why. The repair was so old, they had to find my file in their archives (though it helped that I had all the original paperwork!), but find it they did. A week and a half later they were done, and once again it looks great. They even went the extra mile by touching up some scratches on the rest of the car. All covered under the warranty! Everyone I talked to was extremely helpful and friendly. It's great to find a company where customer service is still important.

Been using Dave s Body Shop in Midvale since 1980 s for collision repair. They have never let us down. Their work is impeccable and guaranteed. Their friendly and knowledgeable team help you through the whole process, even down to dealing with insurance claims. The reliability of excellent service at Dave s Body Shop keeps us coming back.

I recently bought my mom's 2009 Honda Accord. I knew that the roof of the car had previously been repainted, due to damage caused by someone using a snow shovel to remove the snow from her car. However, I wasn't aware of how terrible the top looked, until we picked it up to bring it home. It's a great car, but I was very concerned about the top, especially, where the windshield and top meet. I stopped by Dave's Body Shop, and had them take a look. They didn't like the looks of the previous repair either. I worked with Christina, and we set a date for me to bring the car in for the paint repair. I just picked the car up, and couldn't be happier! Wow! They did a beautiful job! Christina was wonderful to work with, and I feel that everyone at Dave's Body Shop offers excellent customer service.Side note - this is the second vehicle I have had them repair. The first was a Toyota Camry that was involved in an accident. They did a beautiful job with that vehicle also! I will never take my vehicles anywhere else! Thank you!!Service: Painting

In November, our Tesla Model X was in a small accident in Heber, UT and the good people at the Tesla Service Center highly recommended Dave's Body Shop in West Jordon, UT for the repairs. The people at Dave's addressed our concerns and gave us an indepth tour of their repair shop and even though it was painful to hear, were honest with us concerning the approximate time they would need to keep her in order to properly repair our baby.During disassembly, they discovered there was more damage than was estimated at the onset of the initial inspection. This caused a delay in the repair process we were happy to deal with.They updated us with photos every work day to help keep us informed. This was a nice addition to the services they rendered.Our contact person, Ellen, was very helpful and promptly returned any calls we made and seemed happy to answer any questions we had.On our pickup date we were very pleased to find our car had been detailed inside and out.Thank you Dave's Body Shop and Ellen for all you did for us, and the outstanding job on our baby.

I had my Tesla in the shop for some repairs ! I am very picky about my car and they did a great job ! They guarantee all their work for life ! The office staff was helpful and friendly and my car looked brand new ! Defiantly would recommend them

DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE 2 MONTHS TO WAIT FOR YOUR CAR!! This place has gone way downhill. I got a Tesla fixed here 2 years ago and was the best service. Today I was supposed to pick it up after 47 days in the shop and still waiting. Told me it would be done before my vacation and it was still not done, but I was told that they really wanted to get it out. That means a lot... a bunch of clowns that say it is ready and the same day that it will not be ready for an unknown amount of time.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I paid for a person to fix their vehicle because one of my employees bumped their back bumper and tail gate. This person chose to take it to Dave's Body Shop which I agreed would be fine. It took Dave's Body shop almost 2 months to fit this vehicle in to there schedule (they are busy, that is fine) but then it took them 2 full weeks to put the parts on and paint the back part of the car. In my opinion and I have worked with many body shops for many years, this is excessive for the amount of work that was done. So after the full 2 weeks, Dave's Body shop delivered the car to the customer with the paint not matching as you can see in the picture. So they needed to keep the car for 1 WHOLE other week to fix their mistake while making us pay another $800 to extend the rental vehicle. I called and left a message with the manager...no call back, so I called again the next day and they sent me to the estimator that basically told me "sorry" but they aren't willing to do anything to help compensate me for the additional money or for their inability to paint a car to match the other sides of the vehicle. I own 2 other businesses and I understand very well the difficult nature of always making customers happy but when my employees can't perform there job to what is promised and expected, I would never just say, "sorry" and leave them holding the bag to cover the expenses. Terrible way to run a business!Update: I reached out to Ben, the general manager after seeing the response and he was very good to work with. After speaking with him, the actually finished the vehicle in 2 days rather the full week and the customer was the one that didn't pick it up. He reimbursed me half of the rental cost, which was fair. I appreciate Dave's stepping up and taking care of the situation. Thank you Ben...and the owner.

If you respect your car, don't bring it do Dave's Body Shop.The first time I took my care into Dave's Body Shop, it was a 5/5 star experience. I left the review before I drove it for 2 days and had my break caliper fall off and had to have Dave's tow it again and fix it that day. My break calipers ($1000+ part) is all scratched up, but "its all aesthetic" they began to assure me.Instead of waiting for them to keep my car for another month for a new part, I said it was ok and was just happy to have my care back. Now, after my second time, I had to take my review down more.All of the body work was done this time. For safety, thank goodness. But my automatic trunk, my driver's side door handle, and rear passenger door handle, didn't work any more and I had to have them replaced by Tesla. After costing me an additional $900+ in parts to fix my car after the mechanics abused my door handles and busted my trunk. The rear spoiler on my trunk has marks of hitting something over and over again and also needs to be replaced for no fault of my own.If you respect your car, don't bring it do Dave's Body Shop.Services: Tires, Painting, Body & Trim

Phenomenal customer service and repair service!!! I scratched my car while driving into may garage. Tesla Service recommended Dave's Body Shop. I called them and was able to get in that day for an estimate. When I arrived I was greeted by Christina. She looked over the damage and let me know they would be able to get them fix it within 15 minutes. I was thrilled to get it done so quickly! When they were finished, I went to pay and Christina let me know it was free. Wow, they buff them out for FREE!!! Dave's Body Shop has excellent staff and has earned a loyal customer. Thank you Christina for your kindness! You made my day!

Went to three other places for a quote to fix some scratches in my brand new trunk lid. Each place quoted me a range plus or minus one hundred dollars. Dave s pulled it right in for me to try and buff out for FREE! Mind you this is what others quoted me to do. They were able to get pretty much all of them out and the quote to get them out further with sanding and buff was still less than all other quotes. The service I received at Dave s for free, was hands down the best experience I ve had with a company in some time. Fantastic job Dave s top notch staff and service. Christina was awesome! I found Dave's body shop to be extremely professional and the General Manager, Ben, was honest, very knowledgeable on my unique vehicle and friendly. When the work was done, he took the time to walk me though the repair and what was done. The job was also finished slightly less than what was originally quoted and the costs on the invoice were directly correlated to the specific work done and parts needed. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Phenomenal! Staff went out of their way to help when the at fault party's insurance was being difficult.Top notch repair and service. Always kept me up to date and were quick to answer questions.I've had some very circumstantialy different and technical repairs (That's Tesla for ya) and they were handled exceptionally well.I've had the fortunate (due to misfortune) opportunity to work with them on 3 occasions now and will never go anywhere else.Shout out to Christina and Brandie in the front office, Will, and a others whose names slip my mind (aphasia sux!)!

7 months ago my autopilot on my 2015 Model S Tesla stopped working. Being that my model had an older version front bumper I had updated it with an after market one. Autopilot worked great with it for 7 months and then one day it stopped. I had taken it to two different Tesla Service Centers and both gave me the same runaround that it was unfixable unless I put the OEM bumper back on. I contacted Dave s Body Shop and on the day of my appointment they were very understanding and were confident they could make the adjustments necessary to get the autopilot working again. After leaving the vehicle with them for a few hours they called me and told me the autopilot was repaired and fully functioning. So grateful I have this feature back. It was one of the biggest reasons why I bought it in the first place.Services: Electrical, Body & Trim

Wow, it is amazing how good these guys are! I just bought my Tesla and 2 days later the snow storm hit and my door got ripped off. It was a horrible feeling. However, I jumped online to find out where to take the car and saw all the 5 star reviews and knew I needed to take it to Dave's. Talk about customer service. I am a Realtor and love communication and these guys are on the ball. Ellen would reach out to me almost daily and if not, she would respond to my texts very quickly. They updated me daily with photos, even when there was not much progress as they were waiting for parts. I went in a week before the car was done and Ben took over an hour with me to talk and make me feel super comfortable and informed. Keep in mind this was a Friday and he took the time. It was awesome! I just got back the car and it looks amazing. So grateful for Dave's Body Shop and the time, attention to detail and customer service they provide. They helped me accuire my super expensive headlight for my A8L and it was them who fought for me with the insurance company for 2 months. Super nice and helpful persons over there. Highly recommend Dave s for Tesla repairs in Utah. I was kept up to date daily on progress throughout the whole process with photos sent each morning. Christina did a fantastic job answering questions, managing expectations, and providing timely updates when asked. My husband and I are very impressed and pleased with the service that we received at Dave's Auto Body Shop in West Jordan. Dave's Auto got our Tesla electric car in for repair a week early to help us out when time was limited. They provided the replacement service for 33% less than the OEM service center, and they washed and detailed the car, which the OEM does not offer. Will and Brandy were very courteous and professional throughout the entire repair process. We will definitely do business with Dave's Auto Body again when needed. Thank you Dave's Auto Body for being so professional, courteous and accommodating!

This is just a preliminary review as my vehicle is still being repaired, but so far this place has been amazing. I've gotten calls every other day to update me on the repair process as well as an automated system that I can easily go into to see the progress. They are going out of their way to try and speed up the process and make sure I'm informed of how things are going. I have never had a car repaired and gotten this level of service and information from the shop! I will follow up when I get the vehicle back.Update: unfortunately insurance decided to undervalue my car and total it, so I didn't get to see the work Dave's did but they were super helpful through the whole process and always kept me informed on changes. I will definitely go back here should I ever need body work in the future

I took my Audi here after I got rear-ended because they were recommended by the dealership. They got me in the day after it happened, and it's still in the process of getting repaired but I know I'm in good hands. Dave's has been easy to get a hold of and excellent at answering my questions (Thanks Alex, Nikki, Dani, and everyone else who has helped me!). I had only recently purchased my car and I was very bummed to see it damaged, but every step of the process to getting it fixed has been seamless and painless for me so far.

Sounds like some folks have had a very nice experience with Dave's, and that's wonderful. This was a while back, but since we're still talking about how things went, we thought we'd write something up. We can only speak to the experience we had:Pros1. Seems like they do good work (no issues so far)2. The systems/tech/processes they have in place to make for a smoother customer experience actually seem pretty good from what we experienced. Nicely done on both counts.So good so far eh?Cons1. Again - we can't speak for anyone else's experience - but their changes to estimates seemed unusual?We started at under $3000,went to around $5000,then just under $8000,then around $12,000.Then a month or two after we had our vehicle back, they contacted our insurer and indicated they had missed some billing. And the sweet lady managing our account at our insurance company somehow agreed to all of this. So I guess it's partially on them for approving all this? But does that excuse it?In the end, the total cost was around $18000.We're actually fine with some updates to an initial estimate to a point. Ya know, you get in there and see that there was more damage under the panel than expected.But it does seem like you should:a) be able to do most of the estimates and figure out costs toward the beginning of the process andb) be much better at providing estimates that align with the final cost. I think even the most sympathetic mechanics would tell you: you've done something wrong if it takes you over a month before you're done billing the client, and the cost delta is 600%. Just feels like they took advantage of an insurer.2. While their mechanics seemed cool enough when we spoke to them and walked through some of the repairs. Some of the people at the front desk, just seemed, well, phony. Yup, it's subjective. But some of them strike you as the kinds of people who spend a lot of time trashing others.3. This one's minor, they used wire transfers sometime instead of credit card. I'm sure that saves them 3%. But feels like a mechanism to protect themselves from challenges or investigation by a credit card provider. Who knows, they will no doubt have some delightful explanations for all of this, and perfectly kind reasonable explanations for why they can't provide accurate estimates, and justification for over-billing. We understand, you have a system for maximizing income when an insurer will put up with. Good on ya.Suggestions:1. It's probably totally fine to come here if you have a great insurance company.2. If everything goes smoothly, you'll probably love it3. Hire some folks up front who are genuinely kind, and careful. Not for image, or perhaps because they're related to you.4. Take it easy on extracting every single penny out of your customers, and the insurers, just because you can.The whole thing just makes me sad.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Dave's Body Shop was a great overall experience. I hit some road debris on I-15 and put some serious scratches on my new car. They were easy to work with, kept me up to date on the progress and went the extra mile to help me out after they had already delivered my car back to me. A temperature sensor in an unrelated area from the damage was not functioning properly and they went the extra mile to help diagnose the issue. The body work and paint are flawless. Like it never happened. I would highly recommend them, especially for Tesla owners.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Absolutely unbelievable experience. As a customer, I've never been treated so poorly. I got in a bit of a fender bender. Dave's claimed to do good work so I wanted to bring it to them. I sent in my estimate and they told me it would be 2.5 weeks before I could even bring my car in. I though hey, quality takes time I guess. So we're right around the corner from me bringing by car in when they call and tell me that they have to move our appointment back yet another week. 3.5 weeks from when I called to when I'd be able to have my car in their shop. Then they tell me that their labor fees are more than what my insurance quoted and that I'd have to pay the rest out of pocket. Keep in mind, they told me all of this AFTER I had already been waiting patiently for TWO WEEKS to bring my car in. After finally talking to the right person (after three phone transfers) Kirsten or Kristina or whatever tells me that maybe I should just take my car somewhere else. LIKE WHAT?!? I'm amazed with how poorly they treat their customers. ZERO STARS, absolutely do not go to Dave's Body Shop. They've lost my business and ANYONE who asks where I took my car when they get in their own fender bender I'll tell them "Anywhere besides Dave's Body Shop." Atrocious, guys. Absolutely atrocious.

What a wonderful business. On their wall there is a statement of their belief in customer service like you would find in a lot of places. The difference is that they wholly follow it. Our car had been repaired at another shop but was still having some problems. Our regular mechanic recommended Dave's and we took it in. After looking at the car they pointed out some things that the other shop didn't do up to Dave's standards. What's more they were very professional about it and didn't bad-mouth the other shop. They just pointed out things that we should go and have them fix. Then to top it all off they didn't charge us for their time. Amazing! I will never have work done anywhere else.
