I came in at 8:45 pm just before closing to buy a car battery. Jeff, let me know what tools I would need to swap out the battery, which was very helpful. Unfortunately, I didn't have the tools and let him know I was stranded at the gas pump up the street with a dead car, and a stranger had given me a ride to even purchase the battery, and I was going to have to so the best I could. Just after 9 p.m., with multiple people all trying to help and only having screw drivers, Jeff pulled up asking if we needed help and had brought his tools to get the job done.It's rare these days to find people that go above and beyond, let alone representing a company. Jeff really saved my evening and put a smile on my face! I definitely will be going back to this Autozone for any of my auto parts needs!Thank you, Jeff!

I had come in a couple of months ago when my check engine light came on. They diagnosed my van, my spark plugs needed to be replaced and the other components that go with it etc. I was given alright customer service, I purchased what I needed and left. I have since had a tuneup done, some front end work ( at a different location than the tuneup), I had told BOTH PLACES I needed to have my check engine light turned off and neither place did it for me!!! I stopped by Auto Zone, explained the situation to Peter K. At first he told me what I needed to do to rectify the issue, but after talking with him and hearing the nightmare I ve been through he was so very helpful and had the tool needed to fix the problem. Peter went out of his way to help me, his actions are what CUSTOMER SERVICE is all about. I ve been in retail and other Customer Service related positions for over 40 years. Unfortunately I have found that for the most part it seems that NOBODY KNOWS WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ANYMORE!!! Thank you Peter K for going the extra step and helping this grateful old lady . Peter is an absolute asset to Auto Zone and will be the reason I return for any additional auto needs.

I am honestly extremely disappointed. I ve been coming to this location for the last 5 years and have never had a good experience any time the manager woman (Barbara) was working. She always has a rude behavior not just towards me but other customers as well.My latest visit, I was returning a coolant tank I bought along with another to try on a project I m working on. I ended up using the other since that one fit better for my needs. She asked why I was returning it and I simply said that it didn t fit. She then proceeded to keep prying and said did you buy another one online or something - which was passable so I just continued with my transaction. I put my debit card in and it said that was the wrong card so I checked the receipt and realized I had used my wife s card while she was with me so I told her I ll just come back with her card next time, no big deal.This is where things get interesting without telling me anything, she proceeds with the return and pulls out cash instead - without even asking me. I was very amicable about it and asked if it was too much of a hassle to just come back. She replied with it s too much of a hassle when you don t bring the original card you paid with - as if I knew this was going to happen. I ve gone to Oreilly s and returned items with a different card no problem, so I thought it would be the same thing here but I guess I was wrong.All she needed to do was let me know that returning without the original card is not possible and I would ve just come back with it no problem.Please do something about this, I can clearly see that, over the years, other people have complained about the same person. You don t need to fire her, just keep her in check - customer service is not that hard, I ve been in her shoes.

Very unprofessional customer service from this location. Very over the top, this is the way it's gonna be kinda attitude from staff. Pushy to say the least. Will not be returning.

Friendly, helpful staff. A variety of tools to borrow. I wish they'd add some don't use very often and pricy tool rental options. They don't always have every part I need, but often have recommendations of where to try.My last project, timing belt and tensioner. Took a good 5 hours, but saved me $800.Tips: use cardboard to hold the belt on the cams and set the rear ahead ~one tooth as when the tensioner engages it's going to pull it back.

I had a frustrating experience with my vehicle when it suddenly stalled in a drive-thru, and I felt incredibly embarrassed. Fortunately, the person behind me and a cook at the restaurant were kind enough to help me move my truck out of the way. My husband came to the rescue and jump-started the car. We decided to head over to AutoZone (Magna) to have my battery tested and potentially replaced.At AutoZone, they confirmed that my battery needed replacement, and we ended up purchasing a new one for $291. However, when it came time to install it, we were told that AutoZone couldn't do it for us. Thankfully, my vehicle managed to start, so I drove it home, hoping to attempt the battery replacement on my own.Unfortunately, neither my husband nor I had much experience with such tasks, and it turned out we didn't have the necessary tools that evening. This left me in a predicament, praying that my truck would start the next morning so I could take my kids to school, get to work, attend parent-teacher conferences, and figure out how to replace the battery.I had to cross my fingers at every red light, hoping I wouldn't be left stranded. I figured I had two options: either figure out the battery replacement myself or return it to AutoZone to buy one at a different establishment, they could install or get the tools elsewhere. I decided to visit a different AutoZone to inquire about tools and their return policy, as well as confirm whether they provided battery installation services. That's where I met Robert at Autozone (WestJordan)# 3439.To my surprise and immense relief, Robert, did help with battery installation at this AutoZone location, and they managed to install the battery I had purchased at the Magna AutoZone in less than 10 minutes. The weight that had been on my shoulders all day finally lifted, and I couldn't be more grateful.It's disheartening that the original AutoZone in Magna location I visited had given me incorrect information. However, I want to express my sincere thanks to Brandon at the West Jordan AutoZone on 4728 and 7800 S. for coming to my rescue and providing the assistance I needed with kindness.Thank you very, very much.

I m a woman and I already feel out of place going to a parts store. I walk in asking if they sell air filters, the lady said we re a parts store what do you expect? I ve never felt so uncomfortable and embarrassed throughout the whole interaction.

I have always liked the way AutoZone is organized. I went in to get a windshield wiper this most recent time and was able to get exactly what I was looking for using their website as a guide. Checkout was quick. They offered to install the blade, but it was for a car that I left at home. Overall, always a good experience.

Jake was very helpful in assisting me in analyzing a "check engine" light and then locating and selling us the part that was needed to solve the problem. He also helped out in replacing worn wiper blades. He was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I was very grateful for all that he did.

Barbara and Maria were so very helpful in helping me find a new battery for my daughter s car. Without hesitation they asked if they could help with replacing the battery and came out with their tools and took care of it for me. They were friendly, kind and professional. The Store Manager (I wish I remembered his name) helped me with everything I needed. Not only did he help me find the parts and items that I needed, he showed me how to install them in my car and changed my wipers, air filter, and in cabin filter. He was so nice and it was probably the best customer service I have received from any place I've ever visited. Definitely will come back to this location.

I have always choose Autozone because of their service , but I will avoid this store. Service is terrible and the manager is just Rude. There is no need of make costumers feel uncomfortable when they are spending money on your business.

Everyone at the store was super friendly and helpful. I felt like I was being helped by a good friend. Not only were they able to get me the parts I needed and quickly but they also had referrals for professionals in the area that I could go to get the work done on my car for a great price. I highly recommend this store. Thank you Jeff and staff for all your help!

I had gone out to eat in Jordan landing with my kids and I ended up with a dead car. I have a 2013 maxima this was around 10:40pm.. Someone was willing to help me jump my car and informed me of my battery being too old, that I needed a new one or my car would die out again even with a jump because the battery was just dying out. I called Autozone and spoke to the manager Barbara, who was really nice! I told her what was going on and asked for estimates on a battery .. I had to work with a budget so I didn t have enough for everything .. but she told me she was willing to help me.. the stranger who helped me was willing to jump my car and I was able to park at Walmart, coming from Habit.. Barbara and Andrew her coworker were willing to meet me at the walmart parking lot.. She went inside with me and helped me pick out the right battery for my car and they were able to swap out the old battery for me.This helped me with my budget and I was able to go home and my kids weren t freaking out anymore. They literally saved our life s! I was so worried about not making it home and having to leave my car mind you it s late and I had my kids, it s people like her and Andrew that are to be appreciated! Big hearts go a long way and even though it was late already an technically they were closed they were willing to come and help me out. I pray and wish the best for them. They didn t have to come and help me but they chose to and you don t see that type of kindness a lot now in days. I really appreciate the customer service they gave, the really helped me out.. more than they think. I Definitely recommend this Autozone and it s employees! Best customer service ever! They truly were so nice and helpful.

Pretty disappointed in this AutoZone. Normally they are very helpful but must have been some lazy workers because today I went there they were about as helpful as a boil but less attractive. You would think the Christmas season would bring out the best in people and customer service but they made Scrooge look friendly.

Peyton is AWESOME! I called and he helped me determine what was wrong. I brought my car in, and he gave me choices on the battery, after it was tested. Then he totally installed it! Additionally, he told me what a warning light on my dashboard meant (tire pressure) gave me 2 options of where to go to get air putt in for free, and then even told me the amount needed from my interior door label. Such fantastic service. Barb (i think) was also there (she tested my battery and did a fine job of explaining), but Peyton was the one who have great customer service!

This store saved my life! My car battery died in the middle of the day between appointments at work. I remembered passing this location and gave them a call to see if they could help. Their employee Brandon Wines, stopped by to help me while on his lunch break! I've been trying to find a place to sing his praises to corporate or the store managers, but haven't found a link, so I figured I'd start here!After he jump started my car I headed to the store and had my battery tested. The battery checked out fine, but they pointed me in the right direction for further testing and questions to ask at a mechanic.I am so grateful for the incredible service I was given! Thank you! Awesome that they let you use their code reader to check what codes you have in your car that are causing the check engine light to come on. Once you are done using their code reader you take it back in to them and they tell you what codes are popping up in your car so you know exactly what you may or may not need to be fixing or being aware of. It's a great free service they offer to anyone that wants to use it when they have their cars check engine light turn on their dashboard for an unknown reason

I visited Autozone on 4728 W 7800 S today to make a small purchase and find out why my check engine light was on. Jess was there to help and answer all my questions. He was very thoughtful about helping my disabled nephew to be comfortable on such a hot day. He did everything he could to answer my questions and got other team member involved when needed. I was so impressed! As I drove away, I noticed that instead of hurrying inside the air-conditioned store, he walked to the parking lot into another car to see if that customer needed assistance as well. Amazing customer service! Thanks Jess! I will be sure to come back to this location.

Barbara the manager was awesome! She helped me with my battery when no one else could. I have had many issues with other autozone locations, I will be going to only be going to this store from now on.

THE EMPLOYEES WORKING WERE GREAT. 3 star review is because there were only 2 people working during peak hours so it took forever, and they would not install the battery I bought. They said they had no time with only 2 people working, which was probably true. Either the owner or manager needs to hire more employees. I worked a job where the owner refused to hire enough employees, and we would only work as fast as we could so orders took a long time to get out. Seems like that's happening here.Again, this is not the employees fault, but the owners and or management.

Late night the store was packed for some reason but was quite surprised how they handle each customer in a timely manner. Battery issue bought a new one and it was installed on a cold night. They are very professional and that s the reason while I keep coming back. Thanks Autozone it s also what makes them better then their competitors
