I Can't say enough good things about how awesome their service is. Extremely friendly and is someone you could sit down to a meal with and enjoy their company. Highly reccomend them. Easy to work with and very nice people.

We blew a trailer tire on the freeway and limped into Wendover. Called them and they could see us right away and had 14 ply tires in stock. Our fifth wheel only had 10 ply tires on it, so we were pleased. We purchased all four they had in stock. They replaced the blown out tire and three others. They also moved the two they didn t replace to the center. The price of the tires were reasonable, very friendly staff who were able to mount the tires immediately so we could be on our way. Would highly recommend this shop over any other shop or large scale tire facility in the Wendover area.Service: Tire change

El jefe only knows tires, he is no mechanic and the guy who is a mechanic means well but he doesn t know anything, they were supposed to change my differential and replace the seal and they over charged me on part and put new seal over old one instead of taking old seal out, becareful with these guys if you ever break down around Wendover.

I wanted to send out a big thank you for the help I received! I blew a tire on Memorial Day and was fortunate the guys at the garage opened up to help. Plus the customer service was awesome, with a lot of feedback on my tires. Helped me avoid another flat tire. Prices were very reasonable. Fast service, and transparent pricing.

Contacted El Jefe Towing for a tow. I broke my driveshaft in my truck. Thank God for them Larry was awesome. They were great showed up on time kept me informed and also gave me phone #"s for a couple of people who may have the parts I need. Excellent service, great rates, went above and beyond for me a stranger in need. Well done I can't thank you enough for all of your help. Top shelf if I could I'd rate y'all even better then 5 stars. As always Larry provides a quality service at a reasonable price. Is there anything else to say?Update: Another trip to El Jefe, had great service as usual. Friendly conversation while you wait. Reasonable rates from people who actually care about their customers. Drove my vehicle afterwards and all the issues it had were resolved. I will definitely be back. This place was on time and very very helpful with my 36' Travel Trailer tires replacement. He had Brand New 225/75R15 for me. This took about 40 minutes and I was back on the road. Kevin and Larry(Owner) are the the most helpful and good people there. So I most give them 5 STAR for their Great Service!

Wow!!!! Service is definitely worth 100 stars. Checked out of our hotel and found that we had a flat tire and it s memorial weekend so most places are closed. Found El Jefe s on google and contacted Sal early in the morning on a Saturday and he rushed to us, put air in our tire so we could get to his shop and he repaired our tire and just went aboveand beyond and didn t charge us a crazy amount like I think other shops would. Thank you so much Sal! Thank you for your amazing customer service and especially for your honesty. Hard to find people like you. Definitely recommend El Jefe s if you re in need of tire repair in Wendover.

These guys are the ones that everyone needs! Their service was great. We blew a bearing on our RV on the interstate with barely any pullout. They fixed our RV right on the side of the interstate when others wanted to charge us to tow over 2 hours and couldn t get it done until the next day. Their pricing is great and they are very friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to help us keep on the road in a timely manner. I would not call any other company in the area-these guys are out to help you and not to burn a hole in your wallet!

Two girls on a Wendover adventure and a flat happens. These guys here were extremely professional, friendly and very polite. As a mechanic myself I was greatly impressed with the cleanliness and organization of the shop. That tells me they take great pride in their work. I would gladly recommend this little gem of a shop to anyone else having trouble with a tire. Service and prices so good that I am considering driving clear out there to buy my new tires I need on my own car.

This place is amazing. My husband and I were camping near wendover in the desert and got a flat on our way home to SLC. Stopped here to get the tire repaired- not only was Sal so helpful and nice, but he fixed our tire on the afternoon of Easter! He stayed open to help us and was so wonderful to work with. Thank you so much!!! Would go back here for any other tire needs.

We had lug nuts break off headed into Wendover! We contacted this shop and the gentlemen came to our vehicle a mile from his shop and looked at our issue. He offered to get parts and fix it at his shop on a Saturday! We are so grateful that they were able to get us back on the road to our destination! They were very friendly and professional!! Small town and small shop but BIG hearts of gold!! I would use this shop again!!!!

I ran over something sharp and started losing tire pressure at 40 miles outside of Wendover (There are no services for miles on this stretch of road). I was able to make it into town only to find a lack of onstage tire stores. I stopped by the Pilot gas station for air and they gave me the business card for El Jefe Tires. It was a little off the beaten path, but I couldn't have been more impressed with the service. They got me in and out within 15 minutes, were able to fix the tire and it held up perfectly. They were kind and helpful in my time of need. I can't thank them enough! Great people and great service!

I got a flat tire on Friday morning March 16, 2019. I was traveling to California where I am relocating. They were closing shop. But they took care of me. My flat could not be fixed and they did not have my tire but they found one that fit. I made it to California safe and sound. Thank you so much for taking care of my mechanical needs.

They guys here were AMAZING!! They repaired 2 nail holes in my tire for $15, while we waited. Only took about 10-15 minutes. They could have easily told us we had to replace it. I would go here again!

AWESOME service for an awesome price. Saved our tails after we spun off the road and got gravel wedged between the tires and the rims. Now we can continue our voyage across the desert with peace of mind. Highly recommend.

My SUV suddenly had a flat tire just outside of Wendover, UT. We had a spare, but it's only a donut, and we still had about 100 miles to go in order to get home. We thought the tire was patchable, but we didn't know of any place would be open at this time in the evening (around 6 PM). Gave El Jefe a call, and he was very understanding! Took us a little bit to find it (google maps was not accurate!), but he gave us great directions. He inspected the tire and found TWO large holes. Luckily he was able to patch it up and had us back on the road by 7PM. Very courteous, good natured, etc. He saved my $200 tire! Good work and cheap prices! Will definitely use him again if I need to.

Salvador and El Jeffe met me at their shop on a Sunday to get me new tires after we had blow out. They worked with us on the time line are extremely reasonably priced and I can honestly say I have had the best customer service experience ever for road side assistance. Thank you El Jeffe!

Had a flat 40 miles outside of Wendover. El Jefe took care of me in amazing fashion. Replaced my tire for a great price and had me out of there so fast. Awesome experience!

Excellent service! Stayed late when I called ahead after blowing a tire. Very friendly people and speedy service. We're very grateful, as we would have been stuck in wendover overnight otherwise. Definitely recommend.

Great guys. Very accommodating. Although the sign out front says they open @9 they opened up early to help us out. My wife had a flat outside of town and they were there in no time to help her out. Changed her tire, fixed the flat in no time and had her back on the road. Very good price. Couldn't ask for better service

Came to my place of residents and changed my tire in a timely manner. Took my flat and repaired it. Jefe replaced the spare with the repaired tire when I arrived at his shop. All for very reasonable price. Very pleased with the service, convenience and price.

They were so nice and knowledgeable. They got me right in and got my tire patched. They even used a semi truck patch to make sure it held. I will definitely go back to them if I have any problems with my other tires.

Don t call anyone else!! The wheel on our fifth wheel RV fell off near the peppermill casino in west wendover while we were getting gas for the final time on a road trip that ended up lasting 7 hours longer than originally planned.After our roadside assistance customer service through our insurance did not assist us at all; due to the time being 2:15am, I tried to find help on my own.This was the third place I called; extremely friendly, honest and accommodating people! Not only did they make it out to us within 45minutes but they were able to repair the damage faster than it took them to arrive!!Price was more than fair considering the circumstances and was actually shocked upon seeing the billing price total.By far the best roadside assistance ever received!I even called our insurance agent back and told them of my experience since they didn t seem to care enough to call more than 1 business the night prior.I requested full reimbursement for the matter above along with some colorful language thrown in and just received the check in the mail!

El Jefe was excellent!! We are from out of town and were driving through and got a flat tire. The customer service was phenomenal and they were really great on pricing. Made a better experience for us and put us in a better mood as we left. Cant thank El Jefe enough.

We loaded up a older bus (2006) with 36 rescue pups and we drove from Michigan headed to California. We over heated in Wyoming and limped it to Rocky Mountain Truck Center in Little America Wyoming. 7 hours and 759.00 later they told us they didn t know how to fix the clutch fan and sent us on our way. We managed to make it almost through the salt flats before getting warm again. Looked for the closest company that could help us and we are so great full to have found these amazing people! With no hesitation they tackled our old bus in full force! Offered us food, drinks, a ride if we wanted to go anywhere. Even let us set pens up to get the puppies out for some fresh air and play time I can t say enough about these wonderful people! There is a special place in heaven for people like them!

Running out of gas is an experience no one wants to go through, but if it happens you want these guys near! They provided me with timely A+ service! After getting us the fuel we needed we drove to the nearest station to fill up, after we were back on the road our check engine light came on. We called these guys who directed us to their shop, read our engine codes, fixed our history and sent us on our way with no extra charge. I can t say enough good things about this company!

This guy saved me when I blew up the transfer case in the middle of the Bonneville salt flats. I scattered parts down I80, had flames coming from under the truck high enough to burn my arm. Called for a tow back to Wendover. This man got me off the road back to his shop. Let me park my broken truck and 24' enclosed car hauler inside his fence. Then helped me get my broken truck in the trailer after I finished delivering the mini van I came to deliver then picked up a new truck to tow with. Without out his help I would have been, well you add the adjective. There is not enough great things to say about this person and his company. I will always be glad I met him.

Best Tire sales/repair in Wendover! We had two blowouts in one trip, contacted El Jeffe, he met us because we got lost and drove us in the right Direction, put 4 new tires on I'm no time at all! Fast friendly professional services!! Definitely would recommend this gentleman to everyone !
