A good honest mechanic is hard to find and I m glad I no longer have to look for one. I ve been to Pete s quite a few times and I ll continue to go back for all my car needs. They re knowledgeable, honest, reasonably priced, communicate well, and always have my best interest in mind. Definitely a top notch shop in every way.

This is such a good shop. Pete has always been so kind and friendly, and answers all of my questions about how to take better care of my older Honda. They are thorough, honest, and genuine. Everyone I know who brings their car to Pete's shop recommends it. I would definitely recommend this shop!

I had previously brought my Camry here for an inspection after buying it and found the staff helpful. So... fast forward a year and a few hundred miles away I began having issues with my car overheating but wasn't able to bring the car in to a shop for repairs. I was 4 hours away from Pete's and trying to solve the problem myself. I called the shop and explained what was happening and what I'd already done to try to remedy it to no avail, Tia listened to my entire story and, between her and Pete, they fielded multiple phone calls and messages from me throughout the day with information and troubleshooting tips to help me get the car back on the road again. They are so freaking awesome here! The patience and willingness to take time away from their already busy schedules to help me so far away was really above and beyond! They know their stuff.

Pete and his crew really came through for me! I m out of town working on a tight timeline and had an issue with my power steering braking system and they got me right in and back on the road faster than I can imagine. Problem solved the price was more than reasonable. They will be my go to service for all of my St. George vehicles in the future.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Brakes

Pete was good. He told me on the phone that he could take care of an air conditioning problem that day and have me on the road to SLC the next morning. He stayed open late to get the job done. He's $100 per hour, but worth it.

Pete is the real deal! After 3 visits here , I trust him with all of my mechanic needs! Very cool guy, very honest and explains in detail what he is fixing. He even stayed an extra hour after closing to get my family vehicle fixed so we could drive it up north the next morning. Recommend him for sure!

My 2001 VW Passat needed a new heater core installed. It was a labor intensive repair, not to mention the entire dash needed to be removed. Pete's shop is clean and organized. You don't have to worry about parts of your car missing when you get it back lol! Pete & his technician Brady did an amazing job on my Passat. They even went above and beyond by replacing some of the important, missing bolts in the dash that a previous shop had forgotten to put back. Pete has always been straightforward and honest with me about my cars. I even Take my new Toyota to his shop for all of it's oil changes and mileage maintenance.

We were hit with some flying debris on the freeway while passing through St George. Pete was kind enough get us in immediately, pop our bumper back into place, and do an inspection so we could get back on the road safely and quickly. It was great service and he didn t even charge us. I would go back to Pete in a heartbeat. Thanks again!

Very knowledgeable. He saved me a lot of money by not doing repairs recommended by another shop. He had a great explanation for his reasoning. It s been a couple of months since his repair and no problem has recurred.

We had a Chevy Silverado that was having electrical issues where lights would just come on randomly and drain the battery everyday. We at first took it to the dealer at Stephen Wade they couldnt find the problem and just gave us the run around so I called the corp office and they gave us the run around. Wade changed a part and it didnt fix it and wouldnt refund our money so I called Fuzion auto and Eric recommended Pete. When the truck started acting up in the afternoon we drove it to Petes Auto and he stopped everything and got right on it. He found the problem in two hours. Its worked perfect ever since. At Wade they wanted to change parts until the problem solve which would have cost us thousands but Pete is beyond honesty and only charge 160 dollars. We are ever greatful to Pete knowledge and care. I am pushing 80 years old and in my entire lifetime I have only found 3 auto mechanics that I have trusted so much that I tell them to do whatever they think is needed. The other two are long retired and I was pleased to take my car to Pete's several times before I felt that he is the third one. After several jobs and getting bills that I felt should have been more, I no longer ask for prices before hand. He is busy but very knowledgable on all cars. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a mechanic. Just don't get him so busy that I have to wait longer to get my car in when needed.

$638 to install M/cyln.(I was told master cylinder I provided from RockAuto leaked). More important my requested repairs also included replacing ABS pump for pedal sag; that repair was not performed. Told by tech they also reset ABS. Vehicle is a 2003 F150. Takes an hour to bench bleed and install my vehicles M.cyln. There was no reprogram needed for ABS, no light/code was present. The ABS pump still has pedal sag at long light stops. I cannot recommend this shop. My mistake to retry them after a poor result on previous repairs. Lesson learned.Service: Brakes

Took my car to Pete was quoted $250 at dealership for a repair he charged me $90. He gave me a senior citizen discount on the labor. I would highly recommend this shop based on friendly service with fair and honest pricing. Thank you I will be bringing my business back to your local business.

Pete s auto works is seriously the best place I have been to in st george. He was able to get me in same day service and was the cheapest in town. I will tell all my friends and family to go to him before anyone else. You MUST go check him out! Promise you won t regret it! :)

Pete s is honest, straight up, and will get it done. It s nice to find a mechanic that you know won t be screwing you over as well as giving you quality work. Would highly recommend to anyone in southern Utah, Pete will take care of ya.

Pete's has gained a customer for life. Needed my AC fixed desperately they got me right in and fixed it in no time flat. I had another issue and he was totally upfront,didnt they to RIP me off. I had Pete take a look at my car that I just bought, it was having some trouble turning over. Found out the key lock housing is going bad. I had already paid 69 just to get it looked at. And i couldn't really afford to replace it right then and there, since i had recently bought it. So I had a family member who has owned a VW and works on cars come down from central utah just to replace it. But just to get the information on the the part# was a joke. I called the shop to ask what the Part# was and i got laughed at, for my uncle not knowing what it was. I don't understand how my uncle is supposed to know, he's not the one who gave the diagnosis. Then Pete gave me the wrong part number, of course, so I had to call back. I got laughed at again and told its not just something you find at Walmart. Well Duh Pete, I'm not trying to buy wind shield wipers. Maybe next time put on some reading glasses or get someone younger to read it for you. I think the only think they did good, was diagnose the problem correctly. Unless your willing to get treated like a dog, i don't suggest going here.

Great shop. Honest, friendly and caring, you can trust Pete to take care of you. He will do what is needed but is conservative and won't over do. He is very knowledgeable with great experience.

Pete is awsom. I've been to 3 different auto shops and they all took advantage of me. Pete is very thonest and doesn't over charge you .he even fixed my air conditioning knob and didn't charge me . he has definitely got my business
