Shop 18 did a wonderful job fixing up my truck after spending thousands of dollars with a very dishonest mechanic, I couldn't be more pleased with their service, pricing, professionalism, and friendliness throughout the process.I'd definitely use them again.

Shop 18 recently replaced the engine in my 2006 Ford F-150.I was impressed with the speed they were able to get the job done and did a quality job at a good price.Travis was always available to answer any and all questions I had about the new engine and was always professional and friendly.They have got my business, I won't take my vehicles to anyone else and I highly recommend this shop to anyone who asks.

I can t say enough great things about this place. Travis, the owner saved me big time. Vernal was as far as I can make it with what he found was a transmission issue. I tried the corporate shops in town and was turned away by both. Long story short. I went and saw Travis and he must ve felt bad for me because he pulled vehicle off of the racks got my vehicle in and be back on the road in less than two hours. Humidity is still alive. We were coming down out of the mountains of Ashley National Forest when we started experiencing some vibration while braking down steep hills. After experiencing other car trouble on our road trip we were worried and stoped at the first shop we saw which was Shop 18. Travis was super nice and took the time to check out our cars brakes to make sure everything was in working order for the rest of our trip in the mountains. He even took the time to explain best practices for mountain driving and gear shifting to a bunch of Texas gals. Kind and honest people, we were grateful to have met.

Shop 18 went above and beyond to fix our service alert while traveling through on a long road trip. We highly recommend Travis and his team for knowledgeable and expert service. While waiting, I also heard the office work with other community resources to help other stranded motorists. This company is the 'real deal' and you'd be wise to give them your business.

Highly recommend!I was traveling through Utah and broke my CV axel. Travis was able to replace the cv axel in a couple hours and get me on my way. The staff was very friendly. The price was very reasonable. They really took care of us.

Our Jeep ate the alternator on our cross-country camping trip, and they were able to get us back on the road within hours. HOURS! Every other shop in town was booked out for at least a week, and these guys came through for the weary traveler.Things to note:Responsive via phone.Extremely transparent repair/labor breakdowns and estimates.Clean and comfortable lobby.The cleanest, most elaborate restroom ever experienced.3 dogs and 1 goat to greet you if you so choose.

Apparently when they tell you to bring in your car to work on a certain day, they like to put you in the schedule for a different day. Their code machine didn t even work the first time I was there. The amount of incompetence right out the gates before they even took a wrench to my car was enough for this place to not be worth my money. Lost out on thousands of dollars on just one repair. To start off these guys are amazing. I have a very unique classic van that was only produced overseas. I was refused service every other place in vernal. Shop 18 not only fixed my van but did hours if not days of research with me to help find the correct parts that are only sold in Japan. Every town in America needs a Shop 18! Our Porsche Macan developed a brake issue on Day 10 of a 28 day trip through the western US. Locating parts for a Porsche in that area proved to be very difficult but our mechanic back home in Connecticut found Shop 18 because we were heading to Vernal for a 1-night stay. Right from the start, Mary in the front office could not have been more friendly and helpful. As soon as we arrived Travis immediately inspected the brakes and found the rear brakes needed to be replaced. Mary got on the phone with the dealer in SLC and got them to overnight all the parts as the delivery truck was leaving. The next morning, as soon as the parts arrived, Travis and his team got to work and completed the job in 2 hours so we could be on our way to our next stop. We could not have gotten better service! Travis, Mary and the crew went out of their way to save our trip and we are sincerely grateful to them!Service: Brakes

This place is the best! We were on the area for a day trip and ended up with car problems. They stayed late to make sure our vehicle was there and we were taken care of. They over-nighted the part to fix the transmission (the cable linking the shifter had broken). They drove my family into town and stayed to make sure we had found a room before driving away. They had two people working on it as soon as the part arrived. They were fast a very reasonably priced. They treated me and my family great! I recommend them to everyone. I wish they were located in my town.Service: Transmission

These guys are awesome and HONEST had my truck repaired a turbo oil something ( I m a girl) on my turbo diesel 7.3 the part started leaking again took it in to have them look at it and turns out the part was faulty. The guys had to find the part which was on back order then repair it all on WARRANTY!!! They are great to work with and super nice. Thanks Shop 18Service: Electrical repair

Travis and his crew at Shop 18 are AMAZINGLimbed into Vernal from SLC on Wednesday 15 minutes before closing. Place was very busy. Travis was calm and professional making everyone received great service. Diagnosed my problem was the fuel pump. The next morning they got the part ordered from SLC. Part arrived Friday morning and by 3pm I was able to make my return trip home. Would not hesitate to refer them to anyone either living in Vernal or traveling through. Truck broke down while hunting. Travis was Fantastic to work with! He knew exactly what was wrong and quickly fixed it. We have said many times we will drive from Orem to Vernal just to have Travis work on the Truck. The whole crew was super nice and knowledgeable.
