We are wishing we would have gotten dinner here instead of showdowns (which was awful and don't recommend) and I actually was going to get something here after that awful dinner because I was still hungry, but they close at 6 p.m. so just keep that in mind. Based on other reviews saying this food was really good, we decided to try it out for breakfast before heading out on the road and got breakfast burritos. My husband got the Chorizo burrito and I got the starvin' Marvin Burrito (kudos for the name too) which was chorizo and bacon- we saw it being made fresh, and man were they both tasty! Also we walked down to the coffee shop first and looked at their already-made Breakfast burritos and they were $5 but less than half of the size of the Burrito we ended up getting, although I can't speak for the taste, but our Burritos were 5 stars!

This little place is fantastic! Yes it's next to a gas station/mini mart but it is perfect for traveling or after hiking all day in Bryce! Good was hot, cooked to order and perfect! $25 for 2 burgers, regular fries and asada fries!

This little restaurant is in a gas station, but the food was really good! I had the southwest quesadilla and it was really good! My husband had the Philly steak sandwich, my son had a burger and we also ordered wings. Everything was really good! It was a perfect stop for lunch and so close to Bryce Canyon!

The burgers and Chicken nuggets are way better than the burgers kings and any other fast food restaurant. My wife never likes to eat beef burgers before, but she loves it.It is a separated place inside the gas station store for you sit and eat.

Thanks, Google, for helping us decide to eat here on our way from Bryce Canyon National Park. We each got the California wrap with french fries inside and added green sauce and cheese on top. Mine was chicken and his was beef. All together, it was very tasty. Inside, if you taste just the meat alone, it had amazing flavor. Very large portion for a low price = Great value. The inside eating area is very attractive. They have outside seating, but we were too hot. The people were super nice. Next time we go to Bryce, we may just stay in Tropic so we can eat here!

This is a little grill inside the gas station. Our food was cooked to order, and the man brought it out to us which was nice. Nice and hot. Would definitely eat here again if in the area. Stopped here when driving between Capitol Reef and Bryce Canyon.

Great place to eat!! We were just stopping by to get some gas as we left Bryce cannon national park (about 15 min away) and saw this place. Yes, it is in the gas station and best food I had from a gas station haha. Comparing too Sheetz/Rutter s and even Wawa to anyone from East coast. Food was delicious!! Highly recommend if you are in the area and needing something to eat. We got the street tacos-we got 2 but I had already ate one before realizing I didn t take a photo haha (photo below). Quite filling and not bad on pricing.

Loved this place for a quick lunch outside Bryce Canyon NP. Bacon Cheeseburger and fries was exactly what I needed to continue on the next hike. I would definitely stop here in the future to try the rest of the menu. I prefer places like this over the commercial spots. You could tell this was gonna be good based on all the locals coming in for lunch. I'm hungry for another burger just writing thus review.

Food here was great, Mexican and burgers. I highly recommend the funnel fries. The burgers taste great after a day of hiking. Plus the gas station has just about everything else you'd want. They have plenty of tables. We even met the owner today, very nice and customer-focused.You order via a tablet or the station attendant.Parking: Plenty of parking, unlike the pizza place.

There s a grill inside the gas station shop. When we parked it smelled so good we had to try it.The grill master was listening to classic road trip music - great start!Ordered the burger, the burrito and the chicken tenders. All made to order, very tasty and steaming hot.If you re looking to grab a warm, tasty lunch without breaking the bank, this is it.Tip: There s a veggie bar next to where you pick up the order. Loaded my burger with jalapeos, so good.

Wow, so great burgers and fries. (disclaimer: it's in a gas station, don't let that dissuade you). Much, much better than the tourist trap outside Bryce National park.

Had high hopes due to the reviews but everything was just bland. The shredded beef tacos tasted like plain stewed beef and none of the salsas had any heat. It was like there were no Mexican spices used at all. The southwest quesadilla was the best thing because of the copious amount of melted cheese and the addition of grilled onions and peppers. Everyone was friendly and service was quick. Lots of cool products available in the store to shop while waiting.

You order your meal at the counter and wait for it to be ready. You sit at wooden tables and benches, very western. You pick up your food from behind the counter, so it's not fancy. But the food is delicious! We had the chicken quesadilla and it was the best quesadilla we have ever had! So don't come here from atmosphere, come here for the food.

We were staying in Bryce Canyon City for a couple days and found this place from a search. I don't think we would have tried it if we had realized it was a gas station, but I'm so glad we did!I am not exaggerating in the slightest: The smothered chicken burrito I got was the single best burrito I have enjoyed in my 42 years of life! The chicken was so tender and flavorful and abundant, the beans had a good flavor but weren't the dominant ingredient, the rice was cooked perfectly and seasoned well, etc. It's honestly frustrating because it's a 5 hour drive to go back!! I fear they have ruined other burritos for me! :(

Fish was hot, well-fried, and came out quickly. About half the fries were floppy. A relief to find after searching for food post-hiking on a Sunday!

Great food from a gas station, who knew? I had the southwest quesadilla with chicken, onion, bell peppers and cheese for $9 and it was so good and so filling. The hamburgers are huge and you can add your own fixings. My husband had the street tacos. The cashier thought it came with 3 tacos, but it really came with 2. He was disappointed that he didn't add a third taco for $1 when she offered. You fill your drinks from the gas station fountain drink station, which some might find inconvenient. The food was hot and fresh and they had picnic tables both inside and outside to use. Great little find in Tropic.

Great food and reasonable prices. We had the burritos and they were huge. Definitely could of shared one! It was so good we went back for breakfast. We had biscuit sandwiches and they were also good, freshly made and tasty. Best gas station food we've had!

We spent 3 days in the Bryce Canyon area and wish we had found this gem on day 1!! After eating really sad food at the Bryce Canyon Lodge and Bryce Canyon Pines Restaurant we decided to try our luck on Tropic. We found this cute spot and ordered quesadilla, burger and onion rings all which were fresh and tasty. The condiment bar had fresh made salsa, homemade ranch and all the fresh fixings (including jalapeo). Customer service was friendly and had good banter. Business is very clean and thoughtfully put together. Did I mention a great selection and prices on some really cute Bryce Canyon merchandise? We did all our souvenir shopping here! Next time we visit Bryce Canyon, we are heading straight to Route 12 Grill. Thanks!

We camped at Kodachrome State Park. On our drive home we needed to grab lunch before hitting the road. This was perfect. We have 3 year old twins and it was yummy, fast and easy! Plus the bathrooms were extremely clean. Food was fantastic. We got a double cheese burger and chicken wrap.

Stopped her for dinner and made it right before the grill closed at 6. Read other reviews and will have to agree that the food was great. Because we were there during the off season, many places weren't open meaning those wmthst were tended to be crowded. Because this was in the gad station, almost noone there except one other family. Nice rustic seating and the chef got our food out quickly and was good. Missed our order of onion rings and turned around and got out a big portion for forgetting. Have to order at the main gas station counter but overall was great and budget friendly. Good selection of grill choices too including wraps, chicken fingers and burgers. Nachos were great and portions generous got the price. Definitely recommend.
