I had my 2 year old grandson with me who was very due for a nap, I went to take him for a ride to calm him down and found my driver back tire was flat. I made it over to the I the Taylorsville location ( 3665 w. 5400 so. Utah) on November 14th 2023. And Daniel E P came out to help me. I explained my grandson was asleep for a very much needed nap and wanted to sit with the car until I HAD to wake him to pull him out. Daniel went above and beyond and changed the tire IN the parking lot as quietly as he could saving us all from a screening child! Daniel was very professional, polite and understanding of my stress!I am forever a discount tire customer! He absolutely went above to ease my stress of getting the tire replaced!

They definitely answer the phone. Great deals! Give any info you ask, and don't ask! To keep you informed/aware. I keep an eye, when people work on my vehicles. That being said; they handle the vehicle with care. I've tested Eduardo's knowledge and working with Eduardo, I definitely recommend his service! I'm not sure about the others but from a distance they do their job well. No playing/messing around; get things done as fast as possible. On the other worker's You'd have to find that out on your own! Eduardo was the one who helped me, so I can only confirm/talk about his work.

10/10 recommend! I arrived a little bit before my appt and they were ready to work on my Jeep immediately. It took less than an hour and Eduardo at the front desk was knowledgeable and helpful. I needed an alignment and he recommended a local place that got me in the same day! Stephanie provided a price match when I needed a new part and found online just a bit cheaper. All around amazing experience and will definitely be back. Thank you!

I recently visited the Discount Tire store for a new set of tires and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, helping me choose the right tires for my car and budget. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, with complimentary Wi-Fi. The installation process was quicker than expected, and they even offered a free tire rotation service, which was a nice bonus. Prices were competitive, and they had a wide range of options from economy to premium brands. My only gripe is the limited parking space available, but it's a minor inconvenience. Overall, a great place for tire services with excellent customer service. Would recommend!Visited in January 2024.My tire choice is Yokohama. As always it offers a nice smooth quite ride.

Talk about a top notch well oiled crew.Helpful, knowledgeable and communicative.The speedy and solid service was amazing.Bought a set of tires and rims for the lowest price around.I would definitely do business here again and plan to do so in the future.

I watched 4 people stand around for 20 min to put 2 tires in a bag, needed a tire rotation and they told me it would be 45 min, been 2 hours while I can see into the shop and watch people stand around doing nothing, I guess if your busy your busy (even though it doesn't look like it) but I would have appreciated it if they would have given me an accurate wait time not tell me 45 min and then let me wait 2 hours!

Enjoyed talking with Stephanie at the service desk while waiting for a tire repair. She was very knowledgeable and helpful in showing me choices and qualities of available tires for a future purchase.

Not super happy with this store.My first time coming in I bought a full set of tires for my truck, asked to put the best of the current tires on the spare, even took it out of under the truck to save them the trouble and told them such.When I picked up the truck I noticed the same tire on the spare, gave them a call and they said to bring it in they will save one of the tires.Had to come back a second time to have it put on, turns out they saved the tire with a chunk missing from the sidewall and they say they can't install it and their dumpster had just been emptied so I was stuck with it, had to go to the big o next door and pay 30 bucks.Now recently I went in to get a puncture repaired, and they couldn't fix it, so with out calling they put a new tire that wasn't covered by the certificate and charged me the difference on pick up.I recommend driving a little further to a store with more attentive staff.

Showed up to an appointment for new tires. The kid at the counter never checked my car in, and told me it would take about an hour and half. I left for about an hour came back and checked in w9th the other kid at the desk who told me the car was never checked in and the tires I had bought online had been sold to someone else since I "missed" the appointment. Then tried to upsell me on more expensive tires. When I stayed with the tires I wanted he said they had to order them from California and that it would take a week. No integrity and no service, these guys are shady.

Called other tire stores and what I needed (wheels for my wife's car) were 7-10 business days out, came to Discount Tire and they said it was a 1-day wait. Paid in full and I'll see them tomorrow.

This USED to be my go to. I'm done with discount tire after today. I understand safety protocols, i understand being professional. A very small pinhole leak cost me a new tire because i just needed to know if it actually had a leak. Didn't want to have to purchase a new tire. I should add, the tire they replaced barely had 10000 miles on it. Specs are well within reasonable range. I will never do "business" with you again. You did manage to get one last sale out of me though. They explained once the fire was off the car they couldn't put it back on the car. It wasn't a problem except for losing a little air once in a while. Had i known, i would've just kept putting air in it. Poor business practice in my opinion. And they scratched my rim and didn't even wipe the rim afterwards.

I called the store and asked for a price on a tire they told me it was going to be $78. When I arrived to pick up said tire I was told that the only ones they had was $150 and that no one knew about my call or the quote that I got. I don't recommend going to this location at all, especially if they are going to charge me twice the price that I was quoted.

Discount tires was quick and friendly. I brought in a set of tires I got from KSL. They said the tires I had purchased were about the spot they would recommend replacement. I told them about the current condition of my tires. They re-measured the current tires and then in about 45 minutes had the newer tires installed for ~$165.

Got a flat. Had all 4 tires replaced. A little busy, but who isn't anymore?Back on the road in an hour and a half.Thanks Guys!BTW.... I only buy tires from discount! Been taking all my vehicles there for decades!

Can t balance aftermarket wheels correctly, then leaves old adhesive on the wheels. Hits me with well we aren t a wheel cleaning service . Come on man, don t be silly. You know it looks like trash. You could have taken 2 seconds to clean off the adhesive.Only came here because I didn t wanna tow my car to Makes and Models in SLC. Should have just paid the $100 tow and avoided these goofballs.

I've shopped at Discount Tires since 1989 - The shop at the Taylorsville location is spot on! Quick on the welcome, professional on the options, benefits, and the crew in the bay work fast. Convenient location - close to work - I'll be back!

I arrived at 30 mins to closing to replace the passenger front which was showing shredded cords. Ive used this store for all my tires for a year now and they are always great. I was here 2 months ago for my driver front so that tire is only 2 months old. Connor went out to check my tires and advised me that i must have a major alignment issue or something because the new tire i got 2 months ago is ALSO showing shredded cords! I told him I'd have to come back next week when i get paid because I dont have the money today and that in fact i had had money sent to me just to get the driver tire done because its so bad it couldn't wait. He very kindly told me that they were putting 2 tires on for me today and I could pay for only one and come back next week to pay for the 2nd. WOW! He said its a safety concern and he didn't want me driving out of there risking a blowout. I am blown away at the compassion and outgoing-ness that Connor has shown me without even asking! Discount Tires is definitely restoring faith in humanity one broke painter at a time! He also is referring me to a mechanic to get my alignment done for a reasonable cost. Im on the verge of tears. Thanks Connor!

When you find a place that talks you out of spending more than u absolutely need to, you know you've found a honest, safe, and fair place for tire work. I've been going here for about 5 yrs now. I will continue for the foreseeable future,many sets of tires later I've just left with another set on a audi A6. Glad I came

Thank you! The team swapped out my summer/winter tires in less than 30 minutes AND for no charge!The best part?? They put my summer tires in plastic bags so I wouldn t get dirty when I unloaded and stored them! So kind & thoughtful!

Usually not the type to review but best tire service I ve ever had! Came in on my spare to get my original tire repair with a screw lodged in it, and they patched it up and got me out of here in no time. Very nice and awesome crew! Will be back

Absolutely amazing discount tire! I have never been treated better at a tire shop. I will go out of my way to come to this location after my previous visit. Highly recommend and definitely thr best store manager I've met. Thank you!

Recently bought 2 brand new tires from here. They gave me no indication it would be about a 2 hour wait for them to install the tires after I already swiped my card. No problem, theres a Rancheritos next door.What's worse came in the next day. Turns out they didn't properly tighten the lug nuts securing the wheel to the vehicle. After driving for a short time, the lug nuts started to come loose and my car started to make an awful knocking sound as the wheel bounced around. It was a good night, I'm hoping they didn't damage the threads binding the lug nuts.

I have been to different discount tires before but this one is so far my favorite. I bought 2 winter tires here for my girlfriends camry. I liked the way they were honest with me that my 2 front tires were bald and the back onces were like new and didn't say something stupid just to have me purchase all 4 tires. I also liked that they kept me updated every min of what was going on and told me about minor damages to the rim. It's honesty and keeping the customer updated of the service that keeps customers this location for sure is the only one I will be come too from now on.

Using their website I was able to find wheels and tires that would work for my truck and see what they would look like.The length of the installation appointment was reasonable. They re-torqued the lug nuts after 100mi.
