I brought my truck in for a diagnosis because of a strange shift pattern in my truck, and I left it with them overnight and they called me because they couldn t replicate the problem. So I explained how the hard shift happened between 2nd and 3rd and they said that they would call me back and I didn t hear from them so I went into their location to find out what the verdict was and the lady said she didn t know and then she called the owner and he said hold on let me find out and then he called back and said oh yeah, it needs a 6000.00 transmission! I didn t feel right about that so I took it to another place and it ended up being a shift solenoid for 1800.00. I guess they gotta pay for that new location

This is the best shop out there. super good people running it. very friendly and helpful. super honest and does great work and turnaround time is amazing as well. i highly recommend these great people to anyone who is having any transmission needs.

Brought my 2019 Suburban here to get a new transmission, and was very happy with how communicative and quick they were. Tyson is an extremely honest man and I really appreciated that. He doesn't try to upsell you, just tries to do what's needed to get you back on the road, in the best shape possible. Tyson and his wife do a great job, and I'm looking forward to working with this shop again in the future.

Took for warranty and said they would not warranty because of modifications that were already on there the first time they rebuilt transmission. Says driveline breaking caused damage when driveline never broke and is still in tact was just not reinstalled after work to front axle. Vechicle was not took rock crawling or hard off-roading on had 1-2k miles since rebuild and was only drive off-road when camping on dirt roadsService: Transmission

Dean's is awesome. Transmission work is expensive anywhere, but I feel Dean's did a great job for a reasonable price. During my interactions with Tyson, he stood behind his work and his word. I feel that he is honest and has strong integrity. The old 4L70E shifts like butter now and should outlast the engine at this point. I would recommend Dean's.Service: Transmission

I had my truck at another local shop that quoted me over $2,000 for a clutch. I called Dean s and they quoted me $1,100 HALF THE PRICE! They used the same exact parts. I had my truck towed over to Dean s and they even paid for half of the tow! I was very impressed. They had my truck back to me in a couple of days and my bill was identical to the quote I received- no hidden fees or surprises! Highly recommend.Service: Transmission

I recommend Tyson to everyone that has transmission issues. He kept our car easy longer than expected BUT he took care of us! I think we ended up going through 3 used transmissions for the Murano. He was able to get us a brand spanking new one from the factory. All without charging extra for the extra labor. I appreciated him taking the time to go out and drive the car to make sure everything was installed and working great. Much better than it breaking down again and getting it towed. I m not from the area and have never used this place for business. But I can without a doubt say they are a honest business. I had an encounter today with the owner that left me with no doubt of his integrity and character. I d have no concerns with pricing or valid recommended repairs if I took my vehicle to them. My transmission began to shift erratically while out of state on a road trip. I called Dean's Transmission and spoke with Tyson about the error codes coming from the OBD scanner and he discussed the top potential reasons. Despite being backed up with many work orders, because I was from out of town trying to get home he slipped me in sooner. When ever I called to get an update on parts he immediately called his source and called me back to give a status update. Tyson was upfront about potential delays and complications. Sorry if this post is a little long but I believe in leaving honest good reviews. So my truck needed the transmission rebuilt and instead of going to my usual transmission shop I decided I wanted to try one a little closer to me and give my business to a local shop. I looked up Dean's on google and saw it had good reviews. I will have to say I am very pleased at how my truck turned out and I feel the price was fair as well. Tyson was very good to work with and honest too. He actually went above and beyond. I would highly recommend this shop if you are needing transmission repairs.

These guys saved by bacon! I was was charged $150 by a local auto shop for a diagnostic on my car with $160k miles and was told the car would either "need to be scrapped or have the transmission replaced." They quoted me at ~$7k. I took the car to Dean's for a second opinion.At Dean's, they performed the diagnostic for free. They filled the transmission with fluid, tested the car's functionality throughout the day, and inspected the transmission for any damage. At the end of the day, they recommended...nothing was wrong or in need of repair. I'm very grateful for their thorough testing and will definitely going back to them if we run into any issues in the future.Service: Transmission

I needed to have the C6 transmission out of my '81 F150 rebuilt. I called a dozen transmission shops to check prices and get an idea for customer service. Dean's was really the only place that was helpful over the phone. They got the transmission rebuilt quickly and we're very professional through the whole process. Car was having issues with transmission overheating. Tyson was very receptive to get us in and look ASAP. After checking over Tyson explained the issue. Had a great experience here. We were visiting from Arkansas and had the transfer case go bad on our vehicle on a Saturday. We were told by family and several people to take it here. Tyson got our vehicle in first thing Monday morning and had it replaced and ready to go Tuesday evening! Now we'll be back on the road Wednesday with just the delay of the weekend (which they're not open on)Thanks for watching out for us and getting us back on the road quickly!

We live out of state and recently returned to Utah county on a family vacation. Our check engine light came on. A diagnostic test indicated a transmission issue. We knew Dean s would be the place to go for quick, reliable service so we d be ready for our return trip. We were right! They went above and beyond to diagnose a complicated issue and walk us through our options. They were upfront and honest with no pressure involved. We ultimately decided to replace our van instead of paying for a very costly repair. They not only respected our decision, but they refused payment for their services. We bought a car over Thanksgiving break and wanted to have it checked out by a mechanic. With it being Black Friday most places were either closed or crazy busy. We called Dean s and Tyson, though they were technically closed, still got us in and checked out our vehicle for us. He was quick, gave us an honest opinion and got us on our way. We so appreciate their willingness to make things work!!!! I definitely recommend working with them!

When traveling from Florida for the summerLast year, my van started leaking transmission fluid. I was close to Spanish fork and able to nurse the van to DeansTransmission services, it was already late on a Friday. Tyson was there at the timeImmediately checked out the van and concluded it needed either a rebuilt transmission, or they would rebuilt it for me.After a little discussion we decided he would rebuilt it, should take 3 days.I checked into a hotel and rented a car. Sure enough that following Wednesday it was done. The man who rebuilt the transmission is an expert, having done it for the last 30 years. The charge for it was more than fair,and since then I have put another 8000 miles on it, without any problems. Between the professionalism, expertise and customer service this place deserves 5 stars..

It's never a good time to have your transmission go out. I had the luck of having mine go out 2 weeks before a scheduled surgery. Tyson worked with me to be able to get my car fixed at the lowest possible cost and as quickly as possible. I feel they were fair with me and very honest. I'll definitely bring future cars to them as well.

Dean s was an absolute pleasure to work with. Tyson is a great problem solver, friendly, and helped me find a used transmission for me and rebuild it speedily, where a reman or new wasn t available. He saved me money, took the time to help me out and showed me what actually happened inside my transmission. No one else does that and gives that much effort. I would definitely recommend.

Had a great chat with the owner about my transmission issue. He provided advice and direction, referring me to another shop that should be able to handle my car better than he can. I wish I could give him my business because he sounds like an upstanding guy, however, European cars being what they are (complicated) he is trying to save me time and money which I greatly appreciate. If you have any problems or questions give him a call!
