Jan. 5, 2024 - Great customer service, well above and beyond typical Saint George automotive service centers, definitely invests personal time and values new customers. All employees are very knowledgeable on all makes of cars. The best choice after looking locally for eight years.

Been a customer at this shop for many years when it was previously Doug's Automotive and was always highly satisfied. After Doug sold the business last year, I wasn't sure where to go for service, but I received a letter in the mail from Doug personally, explaining why he had selected Steve's, and giving them his full endorsement of quality. This crew has serviced my Outback 3 times now and I've been very happy with the professionalism, honesty, quality of work, pricing, and wait times. When you make an appt with them, they keep it! (They don't make the appt and then make you wait an extra half hour for the bay when you show up, like some shops do.) I'm happy to have this shop near where I live, but even if I had to move across town, I would continue to come back here, and recommend it. I'm 100% confident in this shop, and that's hard to find these days.

Very impressed!Just great customer service, was so happy I came here. I had to have 4 tires put on my car and Costco couldn't get them in time, Steve's came through got the tires threw the alignment in with it and beat their price by about $250.Extremely happy with this place!

I've been to Steve's Automotive twice in the last few months. Their work has been outstanding. Both times the car has finished early (and the repairs weren't simple.) The technician who worked on our car, a Mercedes, is meticulous. Nate, the manager, is attentive, friendly and great at explaining what is being done and why. The system they use to show the repairs and maintenance your car needs (or doesn't) is the best I've seen, including descriptions and images. We were saddened to learn that Doug s master care closed. The good news is that the facility re-opened as Steve s automotive. Jay (Doug s son) is still on board and the great customer service has remained. The manager, Nate Hodges is great to work with. Very knowledgeable for sure. Same standard pre-check as with Doug s! We corrected the problem I had, and performed a few other maintenance services. We also set priorities for future work. I m 67 years young and I can say the folks at Steve s are ranked #1 in my book! Our AC broke while we were on vacation in the are. We were hundreds of miles from home in the extreme summer heat.We called them and they got us in on a Thursday. Rebuilt the entire AC. During the entirety of the process, they communicated everything to us via text.They worked hard and got it done. The most incredible part is this did this, and stayed late, before a 3 day weekend. We would have been stranded for another 2 days in different part of the country without a car.400 miles later the AC is working better than ever and we haven t had an issue since.100% would recommend. 12/10 on performance. I brought my Toyota Tacoma in to Steve s Automotive for an oil change. Nate and the crew were very helpful and looked over my truck in detail! I have not recieved this type of great service from a shop in a long time. They are very honest, true, and upfront with you! This is the only place I trust here, and will continue to do business with them! If you need good mechanics for whatever reason. Hands down the best place ever! I will recommend this place to everyone!

Very detailed in everything. They send you a full report with pictures, they explained in detail what they were going to be doing before they did it. Answered all my questions pertaining to my truck and didn t take all day. These guys are awesome. They do diagnostic on your vehicle every time so you are aware of anything that is wrong and may need attention now or in the near future. Great mechanics that are truthful and only perform work that is really needed. My engine was running poorly and the check engine light came on. I called Doug s because they were highly recommended by friends. They got me right in, quickly analyzed the problem, called me with a quote and got my car back to me the next day. It was exactly what they said it was, the cost was what they quoted and it runs great now. What more could you ask for? It s not easy to find a trustworthy mechanic around St. George that has less than a 3 week lead time. Luckily I found Doug s. It took less than 3 days to get my car back after dropping it off on a Friday. They were very clear with their communication, and even provided a link with photos and updates of the work they were doing. And amazingly, they charged me way less than was expected. To top it all off, I received a thank you note from them a week after they worked on my car. The cherry on top! I really feel I found my local mechanic. Thanks Doug s!

What a great company. I took my truck into the dealership to do some routine maintenance. They told my I needed to replace a part. They quoted me a price to ro replace it. I almost told them to do it, but then decided to take it to Doug's. They quoted me a lower price, but then they asked me why I wanted to replace it. I told them why and they said they didn't see anything wrong with it. I've been driving it for several months now, including towing a trailer witi any issues. Doug's has always treated me right.

Doug s is the go-to place for auto maintenance and repair. They are reasonable and fair; show integrity and character. We used Doug s to check out a Hyundai Accent before we made an offer to the owner/seller. They printed off their findings and we were able to negotiate a more reasonable sale considering the issues needing repair. We trust Doug s and recommend them for your vehicle care!

Took my wife s Toyota Sequoia in to have the tensioner and belt replaced. Jay and the techs took great care and had the new parts installed same day and didn t charge an arm and a leg! Great Place,, will be back next time I need auto service!

I'm 4 hours way in Salt Lake and one of our work trucks has some unsafe issues. I send our employee to a shop in St. George and receive a quote from them of $2300. Something didn't feel or sound right. He, the employee remembers of a place called Doug's Master Auto Care. I said let's get a second opinion. It turned out over half the stuff and over half the price the other shop quoted me wasn't needed. Jay was very professional, keeping in touch with me. These guys are now in my contacts. We re so grateful to the folks at Doug s Master Auto. They ve been taking care of our oil changes since we ve moved to St. George 2 years ago. They offer fair prices and great customer service. We have never felt uncomfortable or taken advantage of and they are always very open and honest about any repairs or things they notice with our car. We HIGHLY recommend them. You will not find more honest people in town!

Our AC compressor broke driving to St. George from Utah Valley. We called several places to see if they could fix our compressor before driving back home in a few days. Everybody said they couldn't schedule us out for another week; however, when I talked to the representative at Doug's Master Auto Care and told them we were desperate to get our AC fixed, especially because my wife is pregnant, they quickly accommodated us and made an opening for that day despite being very busy. It meant so much to us! When we got home, they even sent us personalized thank you card and wished us and our future baby good luck! These people are great and we wish them the best!

Today I talked to the owner of this business to solve the problem that they charged me a stupid amount for giving bad service, they replaced parts of my 2012 Cherokee that I did not authorize and the owner is a scammer and closed person. They didn't fix my car and on top of that they charged me for a job they did wrong. totally disapproved of this place. Be careful who you entrust your car to.

I would recommend Doug's to anyone, they care about you and most importantly making sure your car needs are fixed. They were able to indentify my squeaky car noises and fix the real problem!! I've taken it to two other places and they weren't able to help or seem to try very hard. At Doug's they will spend the time to figure it out while offering excellent customer service.
