I went in to get a new car battery. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes they even changed it out for me right in the parking lot. Unfortunately I can t give 5 stars because the store manager was kind enough but sneaky. So this is a message to all women out there. Do your research. Know before you go.I called in the day before to ask what battery options they had for my car. There were options from economy at $120 to super starter at $210. After some research at home and talking it over with my husband we decided the economy was fine since my car is always in a garage. When I arrived to the shop the next day and was looking at the batteries, I didn t see the economy battery on the floor. The store manager offered to help and we went to his computer. I told him the make and model of my car and he said they only had a super starter battery for $180 or $210. I asked him if they had an economy battery for my car and he said not for my make and model. Then I told him I had called yesterday and they said there was one available for my car. He then changed his tune and said there was an economy battery for my car all of the sudden. He quickly went to get it and changed it out on the spot. From this experience I learned that you have to know what you need before you go to the store to avoid being taken advantage. Do your homework ladies so these boys don t work you! Thanks O Reilly.

Stopped by in the morning because my car randomly needed a jump start so I wanted to get my battery tested and a new battery if needed. Joshua went above and beyond in helping me out. He tested the battery, found out that the battery I currently have through Oreilly's was still under warranty, and he was able to help me install my replacement. Super rad customer service!

Jackson would not let me return a lifetime warranty part because he thinks he s a ujoint expert when I explained the driveshaft was set within proper spec. Had to go to another store and had no problems. Boooooo Jackson

I have dealt with the Manager, Jackson, twice now.I bought light replacements for my car both times .. he went above and beyond by installing them each time for me.I don t know anything about replacing lights on my car . that is customer service I truly appreciate and is VERY hard to find in today s workplace!I highly recommend going here for honest advice and help !

Dan is my hero! cars are not my thing especially when they aren t working popped in and he ran that diagnostic check thing and yup, it s a battery thing like i suspected! he went above and beyond and installed the new one for me as he could see the fear in my eyes at the thought of trying to do it myself. thank you for helping me and getting me back on the road jumper cable free! when my next car thing happens i ll be at O Reilly s in Sandy for help and parts!

I gave one star because you can t give zero. We bought $1200 worth of parts they gave us the wrong part. We were in downtown Salt Lake City replacing the parts. There is a store 1.2 miles from our location and they would not let us exchange the auto part at that store and instead made us drive 12 miles to Sandy so that we could exchange the part of the store we bought it. They suck! This was a huge waste of our time. It was their mistake and they did nothing professional to fix. Next time I will go to Auto Zone or Napa.

I love this place! The manager, Makai, is so helpful and knowledgeable. I am a widow and the past two times I have needed a part for my Honda CRV, they have come out to install the part for me--an air filter and a headlight bulb. So appreciate their excellent and kind service!

Brought battery in to get a charge. Never received a call back, came back in 3 days later and no one knew where it was, then 15 min later someone remembered they called and left a voicemail (which they didn t) that it was a bad battery (which I know it wasn t). When pressed, they said the call went straight to voicemail. SOL on the battery.I had brought the 1 year old battery in 2 months earlier to check and see if it was bad, they confirmed that it wasn t. Accessory was left on previous night. That s how I know it wasn t bad.Previous experience here has been great, but this experience was awful. Beware trusting

Excellent customer service. Robert was very helpful and kind. Keep in mindim a girl and not exactally sure what im getting. He reassured me in my purchase. Plus i bought a rhinestone steering wheel cover.Felt very comfortable with the entire visit.....Thanks gentleman

I did not know that O'Reilly could "read the codes" for you when the "check engine" light comes on. I was just at the store on 9400 so at Highland Dr. and was promptly helped by the staff who read the codes and helped me understand what they meant!. I really appreciate the prompt friendly help! Thanks!

These guys are the friendliest dudes I've ever come across at any store. When I go in to replace my wipers, they help me find the right ones and have helped me install (teaching me how to do it). They genuinely brighten my day. Such awesome guys.

The people here always go above and beyond to help fix and automobile problems I have had. From windshieldWipers to alternators to what ever my needs may be. It seems they really care about their customers. They have even sent me online to get parts for much less if it was something I was feeling nervous about purchasing.It s good to go somewhere where the employees really seem to have your needs in mind rather than their commission or bottom line. I have sent many people there and they ve all had the similar experiences. Too bad more places can t be more like this

An understandable accident happened during the installation of my battery. Ty and the rest of the staff went way above and beyond to make sure things were repaired properly and gave me a huge discount and other perks. I was so impressed with their professionalism and communication, even though it caused little trouble to me.

Keven from O'Reilly store 3820 helped me get a new battery today. Additionally, he came out and installed the battery for me. He was very knowledgeable about the different battery types and also told me a few stories as he worked. Always a great experience and surely leave the establishment with more knowledge then when I entered. Jeff was a phenomenal help today guiding me towards the proper oil, filters, air intake, and even went as far as searching ads to get me the best deal. I would recommend this location to anyone. The other 2 employees were great as well! 10/10. Give Jeff a raise!

My car was having a couple small of issues and I was nervous they could be indications of some more serious mechanical issues. I was helped by Gaylen, who was very nice and explained some things about my car to me as he ran the tests! He quickly found a solution to my problems! (A loose battery terminal connection piece) which he quickly tightened for me! I was so appreciative as I m not mechanically inclined at all!

Guy who replaced my Sienna s battery busted a plastic connector on the radiator which wasn t immediately evident. Son-in-law borrowed it and had to drop it off at a garage because of lost coolant. Entire radiator needs replacing so the battery is costing $2000 rather than $200!

Jacob Angus (store associate) was a straight professional with more knowledge and helpful insight than any other gent I've had the pleasure of engaging with. He made the interaction educational, entertaining and had a positive attitude that was as contagious as covid-19. Best experience I've had at an auto parts store! (*and they had exactly what we needed, a 7Amp fuse which was impossible to find elsewhere)

My friend recommended this location because she always has great customer service there. My battery died and Jay went out of his way to help me get my car started and diagnose the problem. Danny help me choose the right battery for my beautiful Jetta and installed it. These guys are THE BEST!!! Thanks guys for turning a not so great moment into a problem solved

Probably the best auto parts store in the Valley. Always have what I need, along with recommendations on quality parts. They've saved me from expensive mistakes on multiple occasions. Ask for Treavor if you have questions, he's a wealth of knowledge.

I deal with O'Reilly almost on a day to day basis. Every time I use them I specifically ask for Drew! He is very friendly and knowledgeable. He has even gone above and beyond to help me find what I needed. I can show him a picture of what I need and bam it is in front of me. I have even tried to explain what I need but may not know the name of the part and Drew still found it. If you need help or have questions and want someone who will go above and beyond for you, ask for Drew!

People concerned with covid - I recommend curbside pickup and clean your stuff when you get it. My cashier, Keven, and his coworker didn't seem to feel that they needed masks during a county mask mandate. He was also coughing in his hand while handling my product. I'm sure he's probably fine and probably doesn't have Covid but if that bothers you do curbside instead and clean your stuff. They were very helpful and friendly though. Other customers were very considerate.Otherwise, good parts, good prices.

Kevin helped me by replacing a bad battery on my Denali. He was cheerful, very knowledgeable and honest. He even went to the trouble of installing the new battery at 8 pm. I cannot fully express how much I appreciate his willingness to help without showing a hint of the inconvience it was to him. How lucky we are to have Oreilly Auto Parts in our community and people like Kevin working there who really care about their customers. He even cleaned my headlights. Just unbelievable to get this kind of service on such short notice. Thank you Kevin.

I am an auto dealer in Salt Lake City and dealt with O'Reilly auto parts for a long time, today I went to the O''Reilly store in Sandy at 9400 So. And about 1900 East location. I dealt with Robert,I had the worst experience ever. he is very rude and ignorant with the worst customer service I have ever seen. In my opinion he needs to be working in the back and the warehouse area and not deal with any customers. I have been very happy and satisfied with the service I received from O'Reilly in the past but I am seriously thinking about sending my business to Auto Zone and other part stores. My business is actually closer to auto zone than O'Reilly.Thanks and I hope you guys will take care of these issues before losing more business.
