Josh and Cord were great! I unfortunately bought a lemon of a bike and Alpine XC made it brand new. Used it a couple times since the rebuild and the bike rips. I visited Alpine XC back in March on my way down to ride Baja. On the way, my bike decided to blow out the seals on the rear shock. After spending about 4 hours on the phone with various shops and dealerships, Alpine XC was mentioned by someone and they gave me the number. I called and spoke with Josh and he said bring it in after he did some research into the parts that I needed. All the places I called said they didn't have the kits for my bike and that they couldn't help me. Josh looked up the part numbers that are in the kits that I would need and confirmed that although he didn't have the "kits" that he did in fact have the correct parts proving his experience level and expertise. I rolled in at around 5:15pm and Josh and his mechanic stayed until they had my shock and forks rebuilt around 7:30pm. They wanted to ensure that my trip wouldn't be ruined even though I said that was unnecessary and that the next day was more than enough. Customer service at its best! Friendly, willing to go way above and way beyond what I ever expected, did fantastic work and overall just great people. I don't live anywhere near Sandy, Utah but I now have a suspension shop that I will happily send my stuff to.

Josh and his team are the BEST! If I could give 10 stars I would. My buddy and I had been planning a big camping/riding trip across several states since October 2022 and about a week into the trip my buddy heard a knocking sound coming from the motor on his 06 CRF450X. We were almost 600 miles from home and figured any shop would have a several week turnaround time for a problem like this especially with Memorial Day weekend coming up (at the time). We literally had our heads down on the table contemplating packing up and heading back home early but remembered a spot not far from camp that we were able to get just enough cell service to make some phone calls and figured we couldn't give up without at least calling some shops. Alpine XC was literally the closest shop from us at the time (about 2 1/2 hours away) and the first and only shop we called. After speaking with Josh we got the realistic answer we were expecting that they were about 3-4 weeks out at that time. We briefly explained our situation to which Josh told us to bring the bike to his shop and he and his team would have the problem diagnosed that day or first thing the next morning. When we arrived at the shop Josh and his team were ready and had the bike checked in at about 3-4PM on a Monday. He said worst case scenario if it is the top and bottom end it would be ready by Friday. Sure enough first thing in the morning they called us and said it was the timing chain that snapped and was making the knocking noise and it should be put back together and ready in about a 1-2 days. Sure enough we had the bike back on Wednesday around 5PM and the trailer packed and ready to hit the road first thing in the morning. We ended up making it to our final destination and back home safely. Josh and his team literally SAVED OUR TRIP and am sooo thankful and blessed they were there to help, I would highly recommend them to anyone even if you're from out of town like us. They were prepared to do a top and bottom end replacement in a last minute, 5 day turnaround, worst case scenario to help us out of towners out. Again Thanks A Million everyone at Alpine XC!!! I've had two bikes into Alpine XC and I'm very happy. Josh clearly cares about the customer experience and is passionate about motorcycles. His team is friendly, use top-quality parts, and do great work. I was impressed at the quick turnaround and their prices are very fair. Super impressed with Josh and Alpine XC. I have never seen a shop that is so involved in the racing community. These guys build bikes that win races. We had Josh build the suspension in our race bike and it made all the difference. I would highly recommend checking out their custom cone valves for your front forks. We were blown away with the upgrade!

The best suspension shop in the Salt Lake area. Josh and the rest of the Alpine XC crew are all very knowledgeable and professional. They are honest and will always take care of the customer. I highly recommend for any suspension, or mechanic work you may need to your off road vehicles.

Alpine XC is the best around. Josh took my suspension from stock to pro almost overnight. Wish I could say the same about myself. Can t say enough about this place. Best place around to get your bike dialed.

my first experience with Alpine XC was a few years ago with my ktm TPI. I had already taken it to the dealership twice and another local repair shop and the problem remained. Josh was recommended to me by someone on facebook and I bought it up to him and he worked miracles. since then Alpine XC has been my go to for everything motorcycle related, his work ethic is amazing, extremely fair prices and the quality of his work is the best in the state.

Great shop. XR650R valve adjustment and now runs great. Also overtightened a bolt and want able to get it out Alpine was able to help out. They give suggestions and talk you through the process. Alpine is the shop you re looking for.

I broke an Allen off in my handle bar.I'm in Sandy, so I googled motorcycle repair in Sandy.First 2 places I called were "hondaphobic"." we don't work on those" with a smug attitudes, both shops.My 3rd call was Josh @Alpine XC, and I did not expect to be helped same day, but he fit me in within 3 hrs, removed the screw, and gave me a new 6mm Allen.He purely did it to HELP a fellow biker, because his fee was ridiculously reasonable.Clean shop and many employees working on alot of bikes, all were friendly.Thanks Josh, I'm glad to find a shop/mechanic I can trust.Tony M

Josh and his team are amazing. Quick turn around times, but also do great quality work. Prices have always been fair and reasonable. I have had them do a complete top end rebuild as well as just switching tires and every time is has been done right and on time! I would highly recommend Alpine XC for any moto related needs

Alpine XC has been a great company to work with. I've had them work on all 4 of my dirt bikes and 2 of my SXS now. Everything from repairing broken axels, replacing belts, tires, mod's and servicing on the SXS to top end rebuilds and basic maintenance on the motorcycles. These guys are really knowledgeable - from hard core racing to trails & dunes, they know their stuff. I used to have all my service done at the dealerships, but these guys are much easier to work with. I had a very poor experience with Alpine XC, I highly recommend to stay away. Brought my bike in to diagnose a no start issue, they ended up running my bike with no oil in it, and just decided to reconfigure all the wiring for my lights to run off a single relay and switch. I did not in any way ask them to do anything with my wiring. They just did it and tried to charge me $800 for it. Everytime I called them, they were so annoyed that they had to talk to a customer whose bike they had. These guys are the worst shop I have ever tried to use. Save yourself the headache and go to a dealer or Motoxperts in Spanish Fork.

Met Josh when he repaired bikes at his home now he has a shop and a crew and the repair work remains top notch and fair price. Sent 2 of my friends to Josh, we refer to him as our main ktm husky man. I had a great experience at this shop. Josh was really helpful and let me bring my bike by to drop off for a bid. He listened when I explained my concerns, he gave some expectations for what I could be looking at cost wise, and gave me an idea for follow up. They gave me an honest breakdown of what I was looking at and when I should be doing it. I would feel comfortable recommending them for dirtbike service.

Since inception, Alpine XC has been taking care of all my 2 wheel needs. Their real world experience and knowledge base have helped me make informed decisions and I can t imagine going anywhere else. Could not be more excited that I took my Honda 450 into Alpine XC. They are fast, professional and honest. You will get better service at a better price than any dealership by taking your bike into Alpine XC.
