We swapped out motors on a 2020 KW 900 that had a Cummins X15 and wanted a Cat 3406E (We Provided), talking to the Shop foreman Jeremy he explained this will one of their first projects for swapping motors. Knowing Jeremy I knew the job will be done perfectly. In less then a week we're running flawless truck with a powerful/Reliable motor. Everyone at the shop did a superb job and in timely fashion. More then happy with the outcome .

These guys are amazing and did a great job. Had a horrible fuel leak and some other things. They pointed it out and were able to fix the problem. They got me in and out fast. Rick was great at the counter and very up front about the issues and what it will take. Jeremy and the other mechanics were very knowledgeable and they made sure the problem was fixed and taken care of. These guys are competitive with the prices and well worth it. Definitely using them from now on. Thanks guys

I don't write reviews but I feel obligated to do so for people sake. I drop my truck for oil change and suspension inspection. My bill was $1700.00. I thought it was a joke. After talking to supervisor he lowered it to $1200.00. This is a real Communist company. Their idea is to just leave your truck and they will decide what to do on your truck and charge you what they want. They will never give you an estimate, bold guy in the office will tell you we just waiting for something and he'll call you in 30 minutes, instead he'll just play with his computers and shake his head if you complain about your bill. I assume he is owners son and he's job is to lie to you when you call, and I just can't stand a lie.Previously they did pretty good job on my front suspension, expensive but good work witch is hard to find these days, but after yesterday I can't afford them.

Had a hole in my fuel tank. Sunday evening. They got right on it. Tristan did a great job. Quick and efficient. Will definitely use them again if needed.

We are very happy that we have United Diesel Service in our area.We have a company Box Truck that works everyday and we can not go a Day without it. I have had these fellers do all our services and Safety Inspections & Repairs when needed for sometime now.They have been awesome to work with and do everything they can to let us drop it off at the end of the work day and make sure we can pick it up early the next Day. This is priceless for us.I deal with Jeremy the shop foreman on the bigger problems and he's great to work with.Thank you guys for helping keeping our truck safe and ready to work. Jeff

With my 25 years of being a mechanic I have worked with a handful of dealerships, independent, fleets and even Cummins sales and service here in Salt Lake City Utah for 7 years. This is my favorite place I have been apart of. These are honest hard working people, all the way from the top to the bottom. We are here to help you and we will always do our very BEST for you. Modern diesel trucks are very complicated.United Diesel and its Shop Manager, Jeremy Skaggs work hard at making right decisions and repairs on big rigs and other commercial equipment. They will put in the extra effort when the problem becomes more difficult than first expected. If they make a mistake or fail at a repair, they will own up to the error, take personal responsibility and go the extra mile for the client until the client is satisfied.

Had an issue on a trailer and they were able to get me in late evening same day. We discussed the problem and were able to come to an agreement on repair. They were accommodating and gave me a fair price.

If you want a job/repair done professionally. This the place to get it done. Jeremy in shop will overlook all work done make sure it's done properly. Their diagnostic is awesome. We been having electrical issues with a DD15 motor for a year and no one could figure it out but these guys fixed it in a day. Highly recommend.

The biggest mistake that you can make by choosing them. never bring your truck to them. My trailer just got stuck in the sand and they said there is a problem with transmission. they changed the clutch with a big fat invoice and less than a month transmission was on the ground. They did not tighten it and my driver hit another car. another big invoice and they never accept their fault. just look at the picture. more than 20K spend for nothingUpdated Responce to your message:that car was a sedan and it was bumper to bumper. at the first moment that wrecker guy goes under the truck said that do you have a repair on transmission soon? becuase it could not be happen even after years of truck. All of your emails is there and i will do that. you never told about any other problem. i discussed a lot about the price because your parts price was so much higher than Freighliner dealer and i sent the proforma for you to accept it. your way of working is not true as there are lots of comments regard those who came and was a bigger invoice after they left your shop. I was not the first and won't be the last

Went in for a wheel seal and brakes. They got me in the bay in less than half an hour and did the job in around two hours. They are not going to be the cheapest in town, but like anywhere else you get what you pay for and these guys know what they re doing. Calling Jeremy first next time I m in the Salt Lake area and need repairs.

First thing I offered to help the kid with some hoses and he got an attitude like I was being disrespectful offering to help. Next he put on a few easy things and the next morning when the problem with the mud mixing system wasn t fixed. I called to see what to do to fix or his thoughts and ask where my old part they replaced was. And he says that old part he replaced wasn t damaged and that he thought it was another part that was bad. So I ask where is my part that isn t bad and why did he take it. He says cuz I didn t ask for my part that isn t bad. I say why would I have to especially if it isn t bad and there are cores refunds on a lot of stuff. He kinda knew he was out responses then and said you can come 40 miles and get it. I m thinking if you knew or thought that new part wasn t bad and that another part was. Then why didn t that get addressed last night when I was there and still proceeded to put on parts that aren t broke. So both units he put parts on the next day I can t do anything with and figure that out that evening and call him. He says we ll get on it in the morning and call me. Well that was 2 days ago and no call and no answer. 1000 bucks for few hour service call that wasted my time

If there was a Best of the Best Mechanic show called, the The Iron Mechanic , Jocimar at United Diesel Services would be crowned king by leaps and bounds. His experience and professionalism is superior at quickly resolving time sensitive issues. United stands firm behind their motto Service you can count on. Service you can trust! I was immediately treated like family by staff. Michelle (Front Desk) was super positive and forgive me if I didn t get all names but all techs were chill and special shout outs to the sweet spirit in the very back office. She just glowed and made me feel so welcomed. Coming back to get more service done. Mos def!!

Had a back door collapse on one of my box trucks, brought it over to United and they fixed everything just right for a very fair price. Very happy with everything and the customer service was top notch

Right when the trucking life had giving all it could and made me think it wasn't going good at all,UNITED DEISEL comes through. I really don't except this kind of service every time of course but when I needed it bad, I mean really bad they must of read my mind or something.Don't want my truck to break down again and if it dose it's going to UDS.Thanks Jeremy and the people behind the scenes.

Very expensive oil change put I paid it off because it is my mistake I didn't ask for the price first. and they charged me for 2.2 hours of labor which is confusing. The delivery of the part forgot to drop my parts and they count that time and charged to me. There is no oil change takes 2.2 hours for $264And parts for $266.97.After all this payment I opened the hood and there is a lot of diesel mess any where they don't clean it up.I am not recommend this place for any one. I do PM service for my box truck for $210 in Kassala trucking service in Grand prairie, Tx.

I have used this shop before when they were H&D they were pretty pricey then but $4500 is very expensive for 2 motor mounts,wheel seal and air leaks the air valves they replaced don't work right when I push in my tractor valve the trailer valve pops out I will never go back to them

Great people. Great service. Came in for a Scheduled PM with Inspection, and replaced my fuel filter. Everywhere else is a week wait. I recived same day service. Front desk was amazing. Thank you.

Little late, this happened 2 months ago*Our Peterbilt derated on our way into SLC, the local Peterbilt completely ignored me when I was standing at the service desk. Go figure... right?Called United at almost closing time, they told me to Just come by in the A.M. and we ll fit you in I arrived at 0800, by 1000 they had my truck in the bay completely diagnosed and had found a really irritating air leak I had been fighting with for months!Had a VERY reasonable quote shortly after that.I was in my truck driving out of the parking lot by 3pm the next day!These guys are the best!Thanks!!!!

This place is horrible. They seemed cool into I got 50 miles down the road and my truck fell on its face. They did injectors and head. The valves and Jake's were too tight, they almost blew my truck up. Had to bring my truck to dealer to redo everything they did. $2,076 more dollars. 100% there fault according to deal. They take no responsibility. This place is a joke.

Great shop!!!!!Went in for emission for my Pete.Rocky was quick to get me in. I had some trouble starting my truck when I was pulling it in the shop. Jeremy was on his way out and stopped to help me. This is the only shop that I have ever been to were someone that was on his way home would help a random person out.Also they were fun to talk to and joke with.They are my new go to shop thanks to rocky and Jeremy
