My wife bought this old Scamp trailer recently. The kind of thing we would have played in as kid. She said she wants to "learn to camp." (God help me) When I got to examining the old eggshell, I noticed that the axle was welded to the frame and, other than the buoyancy of the tires, it had no suspension. She'd aleady bought the damn thing and I was there to pull it home. So, I hooked it up and towed it from Alpine to Salt Lake. That trip beat the hell out of this thing and everthing inside was chucked all over the place and some things broken. . . the closet door was on the floor. We had spent a lot of money on this beast and this was not what we thought we were getting. We bought it from a return missionary dude named Sterling (ya Sterling) who was just back from his mission and he and his lovely bride . . . bla bla bla. Ya. There was no way he didn't know that this thing was totally inoperable. Aside from backyard camping, it was useless. So, more money more money. We found an axle . . . and no one was willing to put it on. My wife called around and around and nobody was willing to even look at it. She kept calling. Finally, she called a place named TMF and got a guy named Justin on the phone. He didn't hesitate a second. He was familar with the axle setup on the camper and assured us he could fix it. Well, he did. And it works perfectly. And, It was well worth the price. If you need trailer work done, yep, this is the place.

These guys got me in right away. They where working on my trailer within the hr that the axle bearing went out. If it wasn't for the parts not being in stock I would've been on the road same day. They next day the hub and had me on the road the next day. Really nice guys in shop helped me out and they know what there doing. I would recommend these guys to anyone needed service .

I had an isue with headlight and before I come i gave them a call and told them that i have issue on my headlight. They checked my truck and told me i need to replace my headlight and I agreed. When they brought new part it did not work and they told me i have another issue and they cannot help me. and told me that i need to pay for 3 hours labor. I don't know what to say.

I was very lucky with the mechanic. He immediately identified the problem and its solution. He repaired my trailer quickly and efficiently. I express my respect to him. And I recommend it to everyone. 10/07/2023

We had Issue with our TRAILER DOOR had to replace the door hinges and this place was able to help us our.GREAT SERVICE !!! GREAT PRICE !!!

If I had the chance to avoid marking a 1 star I would definitely do so, as long as the dispatch is over rude and unprofessional. The way they talk to the customers resembles like they don't want to work or service to their customers. I highly recommend you not to visit here or call at all if you don't wish to be disappointed !!!

I had been looking for three months for anyone to be able to fix our box truck, rollup door I found TMF they were able to give me an amazing quote They were also able to get what I needed. Done in one day. Absolutely fabulous results.

I broke done less than 1 mile from this shop. The shop foreman came right over, did a temp. fix to get me over to there shop. Got me right in, nice guys, friendly an fixed everythg that was wrong. Price wasn't bad either. I'll come back to this shop, they know what there doing.. thanks

I broke down near their shop two weeks ago, and they handled everything with honesty and professionalism, their tow truck recommendation was excellent without breaking the bank, I had some issue with the tail lights that they replaced when I broke down and I called today and they were able to replace it as soon as I got there. I also had a blown out tire right after I left their shop two weeks ago and the road side tire service recommended by them was very good and affordable.

They worked on my truck and Trailer few times while i was in SLC over the last 10 years always done good job and price was good. But what shocked me last time true it was quick fix one of those 5min jobs. They didn't charge me!!! Don't worry about it he said lol. When did you ever hear mech not charging every minute of work. My "Bro" mechanic back home makes sure he does. All i can say these guys are on different level Honest, Fair and Knowledgeable. Keep it up guys! Best wishes from Skyline

TMF is awesome! Had one of my semi trucks with an electrical issue to the traiker. These folks had fuses and relay changed and on the road in less then 90 minutes. Price was also very reasonable too. The team at TMF Truck and Trailer saved our family trip! We are on a two week road trip (2500 miles from home) and I started noticing a scraping noise in the left rear axle. I pulled into TMF and within 1 minute the owner was there and diagnose the issue. Then within 5 mins, he moved a trailer out of a bay and had our travel trailer jacked up and removed the wheel with 3 other techs working on it. They quickly diagnosed that the drum brake was not working and had failed. They removed all components and then had another team member head to get all the parts. What I thought was a sure end to our trip ended up being 3 hours of quality work from an awesome team of people. I work on my own trailers a lot and did not have the ability to repress bearings etc, and the quality of the work was top notch and they explained everything. They also checked all other axles to ensure nothing else was going on. So thankful for you all, and if you are in the SLC area and need anything trailer related go here. They are a kind hard working family owned business!

We were heading out of town for the long Labor Day Weekend and our trailer breaks weren't working on our 5th Wheel. I called and they were able to squeeze us in first thing in the morning. The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and kind and worked hard to get us on the road so our trip wasn't ruined! They had 3 guys working on our truck to get it re-wired so we could get on the road! I would highly recommend them!!!!. They were also extremely fair on pricing and really helped us out. Need help? Everyone's situation will be different, mine was awesome. They got me in without an appointment or leaving my truck which is my only tool I have for work so I was amazed. They fixed it and took a lot of stress of my back. Will be going back, thanks

TMF is a no nonsense truck & trailer service and repair shop located in the heart of the industrial area near Interstate 80. I ve had multiple fixes and services done here and have seen first hand that they possess the knowledge and expertise to keep me on the road! No pushing to sell me parts or services I didn t need. Called with a trailer emergency as every issue is when you are hundreds of miles from home with a broken leaf springThe guys at the shop were able to help me get in and back out within an hour of arrivalWhile they were doing the work noticed that a couple of boards were loose on the deck so they replaced the screws and made sure everything was nice and tightWould definitely use this shop again and would recommendThank you guys for helping me keep the wheels turning

Great so kind company! I called with a wiring need for my trailer and even though they specialize in semi trucks and trailers they were so very generous to help me. They treated me with respect and were so kind. that is huge as often times when I bring these things to companies they don't treat me great cause I am not as knowledgeable about it as my husband.. Thank you TMF you are awesome!

The best shop in whole world!My semi truck broke down (trans and few other things) and so far from home location it is hard to find a good repair shop. Jason is the best! Did a awesome job on my trans and got my truck out of the shop in 2 days. If it was anywhere else he would have been stuck for at least a week there. Price very reasonable considering the repair needed to be done. Was a pleasure to deal with these guys! If will have any more problems in the area they will be first to call!Thank you guys!

We took a Dodge Sprinter that my father-in-law had just bought to have some issues checked out. He examined everything and told us that it was minor enough that it wouldn't be worth the cost to fix it unless it got worse. He let us know what to look out for and how avoid more serious problems. I appreciated that he was so helpful and didn't push for an expensive repair. It's great to know that an honest man is working on your vehicle.

We were desperate to get our rig situated, and get back to Texas. These guys didn't hesitate to tell us to come on by. Got us in immediately, were super fast and friendly. Great guys that will definitely take care of you.
