This place is PATHETIC! Brace yourself for an ABYSMAL CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE! They dropped the ball at every opportunity. I m not exaggerating I bought a car here in June of 2023. I called ahead to ask about a car, and they invited me to come down to test drive it. I drove 40 minutes only to be told they couldn t find the key.2 days later I called (they didn t bother to call me) and they had found the key, so I test drove it. I wanted to buy the car. They said the sunroof wasn t working and they d need 2 days to fix it. After 2 days I called (they didn t bother to call me) and they said they need a part that won t arrive for 2 weeks. They wanted to sell me the car, and include a form saying they d FIX THE ISSUE WITHIN 30 DAYS. I asked the Sales Manager to please specify the work that would be done on that form. His response: If you re not comfortable with this deal, you probably shouldn t do it . WOW! After more discussion, he eventually added my desired verbiage. While signing paperwork they said they detail all the cars they sell, and wanted to detail mine. I told them I would return at end of business to pick up the car. When I arrived, they still hadn t detailed it. The salesman said when I return to have the car fixed they would detail it, and offered me a fist bump. The 2 weeks passed and I dropped the car off for 3 days, so they could do the work. On the 3rd day I called to see when I could pick it up. They said they never got the part. THEY TOOK MY CAR FOR 3 DAYS AND NEVER TOUCHED IT! And of course, DIDN T BOTHER TO CALL ME!This kicked off what would turn into months of me calling them and getting the run-around. The service department couldn t keep their story straight, and lost track of my entire situation twice! I know this because we had 2 additional and separate visits to the shop JUST TO GET THE ISSUE DIAGNOSED!Throughout this entire process I was NEVER on the receiving end of a phone call. If it weren t for my persistence and tenacity, they would have completely forgotten about their promise to fix my car, which eventually happened in November of 2023.THEIR PROMISE ON PAPER WAS TO FIX THE CAR WITHIN 30 DAYS. IT TOOK OVER 5 MONTHS!!! They also failed to detail the car as promised.I spoke to TJ Chapman himself a couple times throughout this process, so the ineptitude reaches from the bottom of the organization to the very top. This process, consumed countless hours of my time, many days without my car, and introduced unnecessary tension into my life and marriage..DON T DO BUSINESS WITH TJ CHAPMAN AUTO!!!

I just purchased my 2018 Chevy Traverse from TJ Chapman and could not be happier with my new vehicle and the buying process! I am out of state and worked with Brynnen throughout the process. He was great from the start and very helpful. He gave me all the information and did a video walk thru of the vehicle for us. He sent me extra photos I asked for and checked additional items for me since I couldn't be there in person. As I made arrangements to fly to Utah for final purchase, Brynnen kept me updated. He responded quickly to all of my questions. He was friendly and helpful and never seemed bothered with any of my calls and texts, as I have experienced with other companies and car salesmen.Thank you Brynnen for all your help and Abby for the day we arrived for helping us with finalizing the paperwork. If we are ever in the market for another vehicle we will definitely keep TJ Chapman in mind. If you're thinking about buying from them, don't hesitate. Do your research and know the vehicle you're purchasing and TJ Chapman will do their best to help you!!

I debated about whether or not I should leave a review here. I thought, "Maybe it's just us. Maybe we just have the worst luck with cars." But when pretty much the same thing happened to a friend of mine, I knew I needed to say something; hopefully to save someone else from going through the same experience. We bought our minivan from TJ Chapman auto a couple of years ago, knowing it had been in a wreck and we were even shown pictures of the damage. We were assured though that the car had been looked over and everything seemed fine after the repairs were made. We drove the van for a year and then had to go get the fuel pump (I think that was it) repaired. When our mechanic was doing the work, he informed us that the engine block was cracked. So we immediately made contact with the company and they denied knowing anything about the engine crack. They blamed it on the guys that fix up the vehicles for them before they are sold. After some back and forth in emails my husband believed that the company was going to pay to replace the engine. (This was our fault in not understanding correctly.) When we came to pick up our vehicle, we were told we "just" owed $6,000 for our portion. Wow! What a punch in the gut! There was no way we could just hand over $6000 so they finally agreed to let us make payments. Now I know that some of this is our fault with miscommunication and I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt that they really didn't know about the cracked engine block, but when the same thing happened to my friend last year...it just seems too coincidental. I have learned my lesson...we will not be buying cars with a salvaged title anymore...and we will definitely not be buying from TJ Chapman. I know there are some of you out there that have probably had a great experience with them and I'm really happy for you. I just wanted to let you know of our experience so you can go into a buying experience with your eyes wide open. Good luck!

I purchased a F-450 with a re-built title from TJ Chapman in July and am very happy with the Truck. I worked primarily with Austin, who was very responsive, honest and fair and gave me a great deal. TJ Chapman even worked with the local Ford dealership to correct a couple recall issues for me before I departed the dealership. The only negative thing I would say is that I only received 1 FOB for the truck and now have to purchase another one from Ford for $400...but I suspect that is all the dealership had.I've waited this long to write a review because I just now received my title and registration for my home state of WA. After purchase, the vehicle was titled and registered in Utah, and it has taken me 6 months to switch everything to WA. In fairness, this was mainly due to restriction in WA and an anomaly left over from FL labeling the truck as "Junk". I add this, to note that a person can get a great deal by taking a chance on a re-built title, however patience is required if you live in a state that is more restrictive with re-built titles...do your homework. With that said, Adriana and Jennyfer from the Title Department, were excellent! They never hesitated to update my temporary registration and finally connected me with a Title Company that was able to solve my unique issue.

Pretty disappointing. I bought a vehicle up front in cash. I was told it came with two sets of keys (the one shown to me at the time was a spare with a busted key fob, guts missing, so basically just a busted fob cover.) PRIOR to the sale, I was told their mechanic had the other set and they would have it for me at a later date. Adding to the frustration is Clayton, the salesman, did not bother to reach out at any point. Instead it was me having to reach out. Ultimately, Clayton said it was sold as-is and there isn t anything they could do on their end even though he admitted it was THEIR mechanic that lost the key. So basically all I got was a spare key and a busted key fob cover. Like I said, pretty disappointing. Disappointed in myself for purchasing a vehicle from this dealership and disappointed in the the dealership s lack of communication and accountability.

Bought a Rebuilt Tesla Model 3 from TJ Auto. When we bought it, while on test drive we took it to a fast charger and were able to fast charge. A few days later, there was a software update that happened at home and was no longer able to fast charge. TJ Auto said they couldn't do anything about it and would allow a trade for a different car or any other help. I took it to Tesla and paid over $1200 to have it checked out to see if it could be put back on fast charge network. Tesla required a new battery replacement with a cost of $15000. I didn't do it but am okay with not being able to fast charge I guess. Another problem came up today where I took it in for an alignment service and found that compliance links and bushings were replaced by a third party (i'm assuming TJ Auto) and need to be replaced and then verify if there is any other damage or bent components. $1000 estimate at this point with possibly more. Very frustrating. I have bought rebuilt titles cars before and never had an issue. I won't be going back to TJ related to the issues and their response to said issues.

Not a good experience at all. Bought a car there because they had one I was looking for, sales rep (Abby) was dishonest about a warranty they sold me and about the vehicle being able to pass emissions. Not sure if she actually knew she was being dishonest at the time. After learning the warranty wouldn t cover my vehicle I fought with them for a couple weeks until they told me they had cancelled the warranty but it would take two months to see the refund. After waiting two months I called the warranty company to check the status of my refund to find out the warranty was never cancelled. The warranty company is helping me cancel but the refund will go back to tj chapman and with how dishonest they have been I m sure I ll never see that refund from them. So now I have a car that won t pass emissions with a $3700 warranty that won t cover the vehicle. I love this car but would never have bought it from them if they had been honest with me. Don t know how people can stay in business being dishonest like this. Makes me wonder how many warranty s they have sold that people found out weren t valid once it was needed for a repair. Wish I could leave a no star review.

Like many of you, I did my due diligence in reading several reviews from other customers. Some are high and some are low, so it was hard to tell what my experience was going to be like. With that being said, I ultimately decided to check the place out for myself and had an absolutely great experience. I highly suggest you do the same. Abby was very helpful and professional throughout the entire transaction. Leo, the GM, was also very helpful and was willing to work with me on a couple of concerns/questions that I had with the transaction. I have bought several rebuilt/restored cars in the past and I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the repair. TJ Chapman Auto also goes the extra mile by sending all of their cars to a third-party inspection service to help give their customers peace of mind. If you are curious about a car, you can read the full inspection report online which I found very helpful. They are very transparent with their cars and that speaks volumes of this dealership. I highly recommend that you check them out.

Called on Wednesday, wired funds on Thursday, received car on Saturday in Denver. Bought car unseen, not disappointed, hi def photos helpful, received as expected. Smooth process, ways to get better, switch to individual messaging vs. business-wide, never actually knew who I was texting, also formalize funds wire instruction document. I've purchased several branded titles from a couple different dealers, would recommend and purchase from TJ Chapman again.

Although the process was a little confusing at first, due to trying to use an escrow company for the first time, Hailee and Kendel made the experience easy going and very nice! (Note for any buyer that using an escrow is not possible with this company) I was a bit skeptical at first since I've never purchased a vehicle out of state nor have I ever purchased a vehicle without seeing it in person; but just for anyone outthere, this is a legit company and they strive to do the best and everything to make you feel comfortable. They sent me plenty of photos and videos to reassure me which I really appreciated. Communication was awesome and the price was fantastic! All I have to say is my two boys and I absolutely love our new rig!

I bought a Subaru Outback in October from TJ Chapman and have spent the past four months and over $5000 in different auto shops repairing the car on my own dime. Fuel tank hose and Evap system were VERY poorly repaired at TJ Chapman. I had to learn the hard way after car was purchased and check engine light instantly turned on that the car was unable to fill with fuel at the gas station.

This place is awesome! Great cars at a fantastic price. Brian my salesman was amazing. Very helpful, listened to my wants/needs and made me feel like he was there to help. Buying a car from a used car salesman can feel scary. This was the exact opposite of the stereotypical used car buying experience. When the it came down to the final steps. The GM, Leo, was there to help with any additional questions and explain some of options they offer. Thanks again Brian and Leo. Definitely would recommend and would buy from then again!

Stay far away from this shady dealership!! A one star review is way too good for this place but unfortunately I don t have the option to rate them lower. A month ago my son bought a Tesla (so-called clean title) from TJ Chapman. The small battery on this vehicle was defective and needed to be replaced upon purchase. We were told that the car was still under warranty with Tesla and to call them to have it replaced. There was also an after market air suspension system installed on the car by the previous owner that wasn t working properly. We took the car to Tesla to have the air suspension system removed and the original parts reinstalled. Upon inspection by Tesla, they found major damage to the High Voltage Battery. We were told the car was not safe to drive because there was a gash in the battery which could allow moisture to get inside which could cause a fire or explosion. The estimate to replace the high voltage battery was $16,000.00. Upon discovery, we returned to TJchapman because they sold the car without proper inspection and disclosure of the damage. After speaking to Leo (wouldn t give us his last name) the sales manager, he said he would have to talk to the owner to see what they could do to make it right. Days went by, no one called with any information or offered resolution. We called back and Leo (again no last name) basically said they wouldn t do anything for us. They sold us a dangerous vehicle that could cause injury or death if continued to be driven and had we not taken the car to Tesla to have the air suspension system replaced we wouldn t have known anything about the major damage to the high voltage battery. And during the last conversation, they were so unprofessional they hung up on us! So now we have to get an attorney to try to resolve this matter. Paying $41,000 for a car that can t be driven. So I can t say this loud enough, STAY AWAY FROM TJ CHAPMAN!!!!

Great buying experience working with Blake at TJ Chapman. Pickup was exactly as advertised and Blake answered all my questions and took extra pictures. I like the 3rd party inspection as well as the carfax reports being provided. Easy buying process over the phone and working with their local credit union to finance. Flew in and picked up the vehicle and enjoyed the drive back in a great truck.

I would leave this place zero stars if I could. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE. The car salesman are terrible and the manager Leo is a liar. Their staff is incompetent and they do not know what they are doing. They sell teslas and they do not have anyone qualified to work on teslas. I was sold a car that they claimed to be a clean title. After getting further inspection from a Tesla dealership, they said the battery was damaged so bad that it could catch on fire or explode. I am not a person to leave reviews, but this place is terrible. Chapman auto does not care about their customers and they will lie to you just to make the sale.

We drove out from Iowa to get a used car on behalf of our son. He wanted something to drive back-and-forth to work and we settled on a Ford Flex. Very pleased with how the car performed on the drive back home and pleased with the way TJ Chapman handles our business. Abby was our sales person and did a fine job. Thanks again!

Very good service, yes they are car salesmen, they want to sell you a car. However Brian and Leo are very cool to talk to, down to earth and honest. The rebuilt vehicle I bought is very nice and practically brand new. The car was under consignment but negotiating was no issue as they got in contact with the owner very quickly and were able to work out a deal. I recieved a complimentary car detail after buying and they did a fairly good job.

The buying experience was subpar. The branded vehicle is hopefully a good purchase but we looked at a lot of cars and dealerships and this place had the worst customer service but ultimately purchased from here cause the vehicle we looked at had the best balance of previous damage to price so that s why I m giving 2 stars.Watch out for extra undisclosed fees! They have their dealer doc fee of $700 posted everywhere, but they also charge a $600 dealer prep (blue star rating fee) that they re not upfront about. Our sales guy Brynnen was the most helpful but even at one point another sales agent jumped into our conversation with some negative attitude. It was so weird. They also don t offer warranties for 3 or 6 months.Cheapest warranty they offer is a basic powertrain warranty for $1400 for 3 years. The finance guy stated it wasn t worth it to them but how about your buyer?? Several other places sell 3/6 mon warranties to at least help make sure you get through the first few months without major repair costs solely on your dime, or include warranties. One of the weirdest things is that they pay a 3rd party company (Blue Star) to come independently evaluate and rate their vehicles for sale to increase and promote buyer confidence in purchasing a vehicle from them. So if you re buying a 5 star Blue Star rated vehicle (like we did from them), why not include at least a 3 or 7 day warranty/guarantee unless they don t have any confidence in their Blue Star rating oh, and then yeah, go ahead and charge your buyer for the Blue Star inspection When I tried to suggest they better disclose the dealer prep fee ($600) like they do with their doc fee signs all over their office, the finance guy actually got chippy with me multiple times and wouldn t let me finish. He actually wasn t listening to me and kept trying to tell me he wasn t in charge of the fees and everyone has them which wasn t my point at all lol. I was just talking about being transparent about them and then he cut me off and said let s just get the papers signed and get you guys out of here. I was dumb founded and couldn t wait to get out of there.Everything combined made for a sour buying experience.

We began with CarFax looking specifically for a Ford Explorer. When comparing prices, TJ Chapman Auto really stood out with their transparency, ROCK BOTTOM PRICES, with surprisingly low miles. We never heard of them before but wanted to give them a chance. WE DON'T REGRET IT! They were honest and disclosed much of their inventory have been involved in accidents. Their RESTORATION WORK is absolutely incredible. I have complete trust in the integrity of the vehicle and the integrity of the staff. We called ahead and confirmed they still had three Explorers left. Lori made sure they were cleaned up by the time we would arrive. NO PRESSURE SELLING. We talked as though we've been friends for a long time. We even discovered we had some mutual friends. The whole staff was incredibly accommodating. We paid cash which made paperwork signing take LESS THAN 30 MINUTES! I know it would have taken more time if we financed. THEY OFFER WARRANTIES AT KILLER PRICES.We found some mechanical and technical issues with the SUV. Before we signed we asked about those issues. The MECHANIC AND SERVICE TEAM DIDN'T HESITATE. They DROPPED EVERYTHING to make sure our Explorer was in tip top shape and that we were satisfied with the adjustments (some were minor). We had to leave before the detailing work could be done but scheduled a return appointment. We took the Explorer to the cabin which made it quite messy. We felt a little guilty bringing it back to have it detailed. MANNY IS AN UPBEAT AND SUPER NICE MAN. He made the Explore LOOK BRAND NEW! Manny and the rest of the service team is incredibly passionate in giving the customers a pristine vehicle. We may just have to take it to Manny anytime we feel like getting a full detail work done. I wonder if they offer that as a service?WE FEEL LIKE FAMILY NOW AND WILL ONLY GO TO THEM TO SERVICE (IN THE FUTURE) OUR NEW 2017 FORD EXPLORER.

Recently bought a truck unseen from Brian at Tj Chapman auto. He was awesome to work with. He got me all the info needed and was very patient as I m a picky buyer. I then worked a little bit with Abby and she was great too. Leo handled the transactions and everything was very simple and smooth. Their detail crew wasn t the best but the sales people were top notch. Will probably buy again.

I had a very good experience with TJ Chapman Auto. They were very easy to talk to and very informative. I bought a 2018 Mazda 3 from them. The car runs great and I absolutely love it. Very good fuel economy compared to my last car. I had been in a car accident a few days prior to buying this car, which totalled my last car. TJ Chapman was nice enough to let me use the car to get to the bank so I could buy it. They were a little late getting my plates to me but still did it before my temporary expired. I would recommend them for Good customer service, not pushy salesman, and for having a good reliable vehicle available

I had a great experience with the team at TJ Chapman buying a 2017 Lincoln Navigator. I was out of town and couldn't get in to test drive it for about a week, and Brynnen answered all of my questions via phone and text and it was ready for me to test drive when I got back into town. Along with the standard sales tax and licensing fees, you can expect a $689 document fee, a $585 dealer prep fee, and a $400 fee for mandatory theft protection, which covers your car for 5 years, and gives up to $5k on top of what your insurance company pays if your car is stolen. These fees are required, and will be added on top of the published sale price of the vehicle. The vehicle was exactly as described, and they had it inspected by a third party inspection company. They also let me take it to my local mechanic for a pre-buy inspection.I immediately drove the car over 800 miles on a road trip with no issues. It's a great vehicle. A huge thanks to Brynnen and Leo on a great car buying experience.

Here goes my first Google Review. (Yup, they did such a good job I'm caving in to write one) This dealership treated me exceptionally well! I bought a used Tesla from them and couldn't be happier. If you're in the market for one, check them out!To keep this review fair and honest, I'll list out where they could improve and then what they nailed.Suggestions for improvement:1) Make sure the technology in Tesla listings is accurate. (If Full Self Drive is listed, even in the car, make sure it's fully enabled ;) )2) Consider purchasing sales management software that could help your sales reps stay up to date with their customers. (Jose was extremely helpful! But, he's got so many people to keep up with. Sometimes, I found myself following up with him or other sales guys in order to finish my deal.)3) Dealership appearance. Perhaps patch the potholes in the car lot and improve the overall look a bit.On to where they killed it!1) No pressure. Seriously! It's such a nice change to come to dealerships like this and not be treated like a piece of meat. You can browse at your leisure and take test drives without a sales guy.2) Well priced Teslas that sell themselves. There's no way I could purchase one brand new and there are some awesome models here. Thanks to these guys, I got one in prime condition.3) Very transparent on salvage titles. I've purchased 2 salvage titles before from other dealerships and never had a problem. But, they weren't nearly as transparent as this dealership was.4) Extremely friendly and helpful salesmen. I think I'm understating it here, but they are truly a pleasure to work with!5) They do right by the customer. My situation was unique. I ended up buying a Tesla which I thought had full self-drive. Until I drove it home and realized it didn't have it, I had done everything I could to see if the vehicle had it. I called them up the next day fully expecting to be out of luck on returning the car. To my great surprise, they honored me and took it back. Then, they helped me find a new one which ended up being an even better vehicle than the one I originally bought. I can't even begin to tell you how much they went above and beyond to earn my business and treat me right! As you can see, they aren't perfect and I gave some suggestions. But for me, their focus on trying to fix my situation and do right by their customer is what matters the most. Service like that makes me want to use them as my one and only dealership. After speaking with others that have bought from here, I'm finding that TJ really does try to do everything he can to work with you and resolve any concern.TJ may have earned a new customer for life.

Great!!! Blake helped both my boyfriend and I into our new cars within a week! I can be indecisive when it comes to big purchases, but Blake was extremely patient. He pulled 3 cars from the other lot for me to look at and test drive. I didn t feel pressured at all, which I truly appreciated. Very lax environment. Overall, highly recommend TJ Chapman Auto. Also, Hailee in finance is wonderful!!Note: They don t take down payments, so each car is first come, first serve. I also recommend calling beforehand so they can have the car(s) you re wanting to look at or test drive there when you arrive. Ask for Blake!

Abby and Brian are really easy to work with. Both are friendly and personable, they will answer any questions you have about any of the vehicles on their lot. They were transparent about every single detail on the carfax. The transaction with Leo was great, he was quick and efficient. Simplified alot of explanations and cleared up any questions I had. I absolutely recommend buying a car here, they have great stock and their prices are great as well.
