Steve s automotive always provides top tier service at reasonable prices. I ve been taking my truck to them for years for any maintenance that needs to be done. I used to take my truck to the dealership to have work done but the dealership lied to me once about work that needed to be done. I took my truck to Steve s the next day for a second opinion and they couldn t find anything wrong with it. Steve s automotive always treats their customers right.

The team at Steve s are helpful and very friendly. They know their stuff and the quality of their work so far as been deserving of my repeat business. I have a German car and it has been tough finding quality service here in the St George area. Give them a shout-out and see for yourself.

I don t share negative reviews very often because I m not a negative person and I don t like putting that energy out there, but this place is not honest. I m not going into detail because it s not worth my time, however I will never go back and I hope this post will save you time and money. Fulton Automotive is the bomb! I found Dave through a referral and he is very knowledgeable and honest.

Amazing service! From the customer service, to the evaluation of my vehicle, to the work and price! Great place! And the turnaround time was within 24hrs! Incredible! My coolant leak was found and fixed completely! And then they gave me a suggested service report with no pressure to complete anything. But nice for me to budget maintenance in the new year! My vehicle has 230K+ miles and they were honest and fair with service and price! Highly recommend! Toby was awesome to work with! The other place I ve tried in the past and liked, was just too busy and too long of a wait to get in. I m thankful Steve s Automotive got me in fast and I was very impressed with this service!

Reliable mechanic. They fit me in without an appointment for a coolant hose burst. Then when I went back to get some maintenance done they were very thorough even taking pictures of what they found. While they were working on the motor they offered a complimentary Uber to and from my house while I waited. Very transparent when asked questions. Grateful to work with them.

Excellent customer service and transparent communicating. Ran extensive diagnostic testing on vehicle to notify me of potential repairs that will be needed in future and were not over the shoulder about taking care of them right away. Very nice people.

I was delighted and amazed, the Toyota dealership in town couldn t fix my problem in three years as it kept coming back a week later. Steve s replaced the serpentine belt and for the first time in three years my car worked without any problems or noise when an actual Toyota dealership couldn t. Thank you Steve s automotive.

When my truck wouldn t start one morning before work, I called Steve s Automotive and Toby got me in that same day. Toby kept me informed on my trucks status and what the problems were and what needed to be done to fix them. They sent me detailed descriptions of the work and also included photos. Steve s automotive has serviced my truck and my families vehicles for a long time now and we plan to continue to use their excellent service.

Brought my 2018 4Runner for tune-up, brakes and transmission maintenance. Staff are thorough, knowledgeable and careful. The 4Runner runs like new. I will definitely be back whenever I need service.

Went in to change a headlight bulb on an 03 Chevy van, got quoted SEVENTY DOLLARS to replace when the bulb is $10 per piece and the labor is less than 10 minutes. Stopped by the local auto zone and had it replaced in 5 minutes. Obvious price gauging for labor/parts and I feel bad for anyone stopping by for a very simple fix. Very unimpressed by everything going on here and after reading more reviews it seems to be a common occurrence. Don t give these guys your business.

$50 oil change is a SCAM.Came in for an oil change for $50 as advertised, was a total sham. They decided to check everything else out in the car and without asking if I wanted those checked, then charged me for them.Ended up spending triple the money so they could Make sure they gave me the best service possible . Which would be fine if they didn t charge me To do so

These guys know exactly what they re doing! Nate at the front counter is very knowledgeable, educates me on suggested products to use and takes the time to get to know someone. They update you on the progress of the vehicle and always do a preliminary inspection for safety and other potential issues the vehicle might have. I ll always bring my vehicles here!

I've been going to Steve's in Millcreek for a few years now and I've had mostly, if not all, positive experiences. Here's the rub, they're a higher-order shop--they'll get you in faster than anyone and their work is solid, but you'll pay a premium. You get what you pay for. Their basic services, such as oil changes, are on par with other shops and they have a rock solid inspection process. Also, the whole crew is super nice, lookin' at you Toby--you rock.

I came in for an oil change and diagnosis of a slow coolant leak. They charged $200 for the vehicle inspection and to perform a pressure test of the coolant system, which I probably shouldn't have agreed to. When they came back and suggested timing belt, water pump replacement, and radiator hose replacement, they quoted me $2400! Nate Wade Subaru quoted me $1400, and a local repair shop quoted me even less. The invoice for the diagnostic was "itemized" but included no hourly labor for a pressure test - just a flat charge, super shady for a relatively simple test. I would've given 1 star for extremely shady price gouging but 2 stars instead of one star because they did a good job on the inspection and I believe diagnosed the problem. Even if Steve's believes they are more skilled than other mechanics, there is nothing to justify this kind of pricing, let alone compared to a dealershipEDIT: Steve's called me about my review to make sure we're comparing "apples to apples" - here is a written receipt of the same exact quoted work and parts done for 42% of the price

Steve s automotive specialist did a major engine overhaul. The work completed, communication with the shop throughout the repairs, and use of a loaner car went really well. They had been highly recommended by a friend and I would recommend this shop to others.

Very helpful when I needed service as I was traveling through town. They figured the issue right away and got started on my Volvo XC 60 the same day. Super friendly and accommodating!

When you take your car in for a simple oil change and have to tow your car away you are dealing with bad mechanics and or an extortion operation. Took my car for an oil change. Toby the salesman called and said the last place that changed your oil over tightened the plug bolt so it stripped the oil pan. He said I had to pay $750 for a new oil pan. I asked if it could be retapped. He said no there is not enough material. I said I could not afford it and that I would have to tow it away. While waiting for the tow truck we took in a $3 bolt with the same threading that was longer than the factory one to reach higher threads. He said it wouldn t work. We towed it home. I put the new bolt in. It worked perfectly. To recap they stripped the oil pan threads(most likely used an air gun to put the plug bolt back in). Would not take responsibility for something that was obviously their fault. Then had the audacity to ask me to pay for a new oil pan. Which btw was $300+ more than other shops I called about an oil pan replacement. Truly an unbelievably horrible experience. Look forward to the owners gaslighting response.Service: Oil change

PSA DO NOT GET SERVICED HERE - these crooks will upcharge you at every opportunity.TL;DR - believe the other 1 star reviews, do not trust Toby or Collin to service your vehicle. This business also artificially boosts their review score by giving discounts to 5-star reviewers and getting their own employees to review the business.I took my jeep in for a 50 oil change. A few hours later I get a call telling me there's something wrong with my rear wheels and that it will cost >200 just to inspect what was wrong. I gave them the greenlight (BIG mistake) since I had been noticing some clicking sounds/irregular driving mechanics. The next day I get a >1300 itemized bill with parts charged more than DOUBLE what you can get them for. I also asked about their hourly rate for labor since I was charged 420 for this repair and got a 'it depends' - super shady. Not to mention, I was charged 120 for 2qts of 75W85 diff oil which can be bought at any auto store for 50. The same diff service at jiffy lube (parts + labor) costs half as much.I called them to get a correction on this obvious price gouging and was met with "you've already got the service done so there's nothing I can do" and "it's your fault for not shopping around". I'm second guessing if this repair was even necessary - the jeep drives the same and still makes the same noises.DON'T take the oil change bait from that flyer you get in the mail. If you do, decline ALL other services. Seriously, F these guys.

Was going over a pass from Heber City to Park city and noticed a lot of coolant in the engine compartment. Ultimately the weekend was coming and I needed a new water pump. These guys got me in and out in one day and were really helpful. I was able to make my way home to Washington state with no further issues. A big thank you for your hard work, and customer service. Very professional. If I lived in the area you all would be my new go to shop.Services: Auto water leak repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Vehicle Inspection

I had just moved into the neighborhood close to Steve's Automotive and I was wondering which auto repair shop is the one that will take care of my maintenance and repair needs and treat me right. After only being in the neighborhood for a few days my vehicle had an urgent repair need. I called Steve's and they quickly helped me get a tow truck, get my vehicle to the shop and diagnosed the problem. I've done enough engine and maintenance work to know when I'm being treated fairly and the right work is being done. They were spot on, did the work at a fair price and had my vehicle back to me quickly.I've seen both the positive and negative feedback posted and I have to tell you I don't get where the negative feedback is coming from. Toby and the crew that helped me were nothing but professionals and provided top tier service. Don't hesitate to use Steve's Automotive when you have a repair or service need.

Went in for a discounted oil change, and they tried to upsell on a litany of expensive work. Lots of fancy fluid services when samples are in normal range. Labor charges are really high. They quote more than the dealership does. They are fast and friendly, but not a good value.

Steve's Automotive is excellent. They have a friendly and knowledgeable staff. They were very thorough when I went to get my oil changed. They took the time to show me other issues with my car that should be addressed but didn't pressure me to have them fixed by them. I highly recommend their services.Service: Auto maintenanceService: Auto maintenance

Super helpful. Answered every question and went above and beyond answering questions not asked and helping with those things I didn't know to ask about. Very honest and kind. Very quick for a mechanic too. Will be going back for car needs even though it's 45 mins out of my way

I ve been to Steve s 3-4 times in the past 6 years and both times I ve had a great experience. The first time they towed my car and were great to work with. The second time they did a ton of things for my car and had to keep it for two days. They ubered me home and back and then when they decided they needed to keep my car for a few days they gave me a car to use for the couple days. I will continue to come back for my regular maintenance.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

The first time I used Steve s I rated them 5 stars. This was my second time and it was very disappointing. The communication was terrible. The first time I took my sons car to them, they called me to discuss the issues and walked me through everything. When the car was finished they called. It was smooth and a good experience. So good that I returned. Second time I just got emails of the recommended service. No phone call. No explanation of anything. Not my favorite but ok, fine. We brought the car in on a Thursday early afternoon. On Friday at 5:00 I still hadn t heard from them. When I called they said the car wasn t done and that they were closed on weekends. So they were planning g on closing for the weekend, and keeping the car for two more days without even a phone call. When I told them this wasn t ok he said he d talk to the mechanic. He came back to the phone and, miraculously, the car was finished. Maybe they were going to call me? But it was 5:00 on a Friday and that s when they close so I m guessing not.It was just such a different customer experience than what I had experienced the first time.
