Nicky, Walter, Ryan, and crew are hands down the best in the valley. They know their stuff, charge fair rates and prices for their work, and are always honest and upfront about the service. They ve done everything for me from simple oil changes to full on turbo race car builds for out at the track. They also do fantastic exhaust and diagnostic work.Give them a shot and don t forget to bring a treat for the shop kitties when you pickup your car!

My boyfriend Justin and I took our 57 Chevy here to have the hood pins done. To say Walt did an amazing job is an under statement. We are over the moon happy with how they turned out! It wasn't an easy job by any means, but these hood pins look like they were always meant to be there. We cannot thank you guys enough! The pictures don't do it justice for how amazing they look. I wish I could give these guys more than 5 stars because they really went above and beyond!

This review is geared towards the customer service aspect as it has nothing to do with me being a customer. I was a sent a package back home in PA, with their address on it thanks to the incompetency from the USPS mail lady in the Pennsylvania PO. This business kept it there safe the entire day until I was able to track it down and go get it. So thank you. They were very sentimental things from my childhood. If I'm ever in need of some car work, I'll be sure to consider here.

Work was good (see pics). However, Walter kept my cats afterward and when I contacted him about it (needed to pass emissions and wanted to get some sort of a bolt-on set up done) he blew me off. Can t help. Doesn t know where the cats went. Make sure he puts all original parts in your vehicle after work is complete.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

Super great experience. Got the muffler removed on my 2019 camaro ss just what she needed, sounds ridiculous. Their work looks a plus you can choose the tips you want they carry some or will order some for you. Looks like they welded and put a coating on the new pipes. Took 4 or 5 hours before it was ready. Price seemed reasonable but I didn't do any shopping around. Was recommended by my brother and a friend. He seemed to be into it and gave me his opinions on look.Service: Exhaust

Ryan exceeded my expectations. He made sure I understood everything he was doing. Also took the time to make sure the tune was done right , as well as explain all the features that came with the ecutech tune. Ryan found a lot of usable power and smoothed out the torque dip in my power band. Will def use these guys again. Worth every cent if you want get the most of your expensive parts.Lovely shop kittehs too lol

I've used these guys for two of my vehicles and each time they have provided amazing service. They made my boosted IS300 sound incredible a couple years ago with a full 3" exhaust and more recently helped me with an exhaust leak on my Celica and also added a resonator.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

I took my Challenger in for a dyno. I know it was kind of last minute, but their customer service was amazing Ryan was really helpful he explained how to go over the data, and I'm just overall very happy with the service I received thank you again I'm definitely coming back.

Edit: I am currently in the middle of rebuilding my motor and confirmed my suspicion with my mechanic that the failure was likely due to the AOS being installed incorrectly. It may or may not have caused it but it undeniably contributed to the RLF my motor suffered. I emailed them a few weeks ago to give them the opportunity to make things right but they chose not to reach out to me. I would have settled for a refund on some of the labor and the part itself but they chose to not respond to me. I can only assume they don't want to assume liability for their mistake. It's unfortunate this happened as I was looking forward to working with them for mods to come only to be the victim of poor work and denial that they had anything to do with the failure.I don't want to write this review but at this point I feel like I need to after stopping in your shop and giving you the opportunity to make things right in my eyes. I had simple do some substantial modifications to my car last year. Over the course of this year I have found some minor issues such as loose wiring connectors, my main wiring harness just dangling in the wind, missing zipties on my aos tubing causing oil to leak everywhere they were connected, minor stuff easily fixed so I fixed it these issues, didn't really bother me and gave me an opportunity to poke around under the hood. Where I take issue is a bit more recently. A few months ago my car started pinging regularly to the tune of -4 or so. I contacted Ryan and he mentioned he may have been a bit aggressive with the tune and mentioned every turbo car knocks (I have plenty of friends with hundreds of hours of logs that can dispute that and my knock happened consistently around 3000-3500 rpm at 80%+ throttle) even though when we laid out the plan for my build I asked him clearly to keep it conservative...No biggie he took a bit long but he fixed the tune and it had been running great the last couple months. right up until a couple weeks ago when I had an insane knock event from then on. My knock was hitting -11. engine damaging stuff so I contacted simple again. They did squeeze me right in and had an appointment set for me however Ryan got sick (get better soon) and I understand that I needed to be put off for a while. I figured I would poke around and see if I could determine the problem and I did. When they installed my AOS the routed the lines so they were pinched off effectively preventing the aos from doing it's job (you can see the two tablespoons of oil I got out of my intercooler and turbo in the photos) I was told by the gentleman today that oil blowby is normal in a turbo car....I am fully aware of that and exactly why I bought an AOS to minimize that issue..the detonation caused by that issue is deadly to subaru motors. regardless of all that I rerouted the lines and cleaned everything up and it's running great again. I stopped by the shop to talk to them about that and they asked me why I didn't bring it in. I don't live around the corner from your shop I'm 35 miles away. Am I expected to bring it to your shop to repair something that should have been done correctly in the first place? Am I expected to leave a problem present that can destroy my car to drive 35 miles for you to fix it when IAG released clear instructions of how the unit should be installed? I fixed your mistakes and you have the nerve to ask me why I didn't bring it to you...here's your answer...you do shoddy, lazy and complacent work while charging a premium and I no longer trust your shop.

I went there to see about an option for new exhaust tips and achieving a better exhaust sound for my GTI. Ryan showed me some options, gave me a reasonable quote and hooked me up with some beautiful carbon fiber tips and a muffler delete. The GTI sounds awesome now and for only a couple hundred bucks I achieved the sound I was looking for instead of trying to sell me some exhaust systems that would have cost me over a grand. Took it in to my appointment a week later, they were on time with their work completion and I ve been getting compliments ever since. I ll come back for sure with anything else I need! Good guys!!

Called because I was told they are the better shop for turbo builds etc. I have a restomod c10 I wanted a full turbo system for.They would not do the work. They said they only do Subarus. Seems like a bad business model to me. Especially after looking at all the pics of restomods etc they have worked with. Money to burn and I was turned down. Looks like I ll have to do it myself and order online. Not sure why they wouldn t Even want to sell me a system.

Very impressed. After 3 other shops couldn't figure out a simple fuel issue on my custom buggy it took them 5 minutes to diagnose and they fixed it quickly and at a fair price. I I highly recommend to use this shop.

Had a unique vehicle, an Ls swapped Land Rover, they were able to squeeze me in and got this thing running so well. I ll be back if I ever need some tuning again and will highly recommend to everyone in need of a an honest mechanic/performance specialist.

I ve been coming here and letting Ryan and Walter work on my Subaru for the past 5 years at least. There s no one in Utah or perhaps even The surrounding states that knows Subaru better. Ryan is extremely knowledgeable on options for increased power and simply guides you to what you want. He s never pressured me to go bigger, and has always given me exactly what he s promised. A good engine with reliable and extremely fun power! I ll recommend these guys over and over for anyone with a SUBARU!!!

Went to Simple Performance to get a stage 1 Tune.I went into get my pre dyno check. Everything passed it was all good.I received my tune an went on my way. After 100 miles, my check engine light turned on. I reflashed my car (because it threw an o2 sensor code). 50 or so miles in the check engine light turned on.I contacted Simple Performance about it and they asked what J pipe I had (MA performance). Then they said that is the reason because they are not able to clear the code any more.I asked why I was not notified in the 2 weeks before coming back to get my tune and the response from the office was "We do a lot of inspections, it's hard to remember what is what".Now I'm stuck with the bill and have an usable engine tune.I could have been more educated about the "Green Speed" update from Cobb. But that is why I don't tune cars.Service: Auto engine tuning

This shop is amazing, been going there for years and they always fix any problems with both my vehicles and are down to earth and so kind.Would not trust anyone else to be honest like they are. Tried another shop and they said a bunch of things were wrong, then took my car here and they were honest and didn't charge me extra for things that were not wrong. Love this place!! Love the shop cats too!! Highly recommend for custom work.

So far, superb and excellent communication and respect from these guys. They're super busy and may take some time to get back to you, but they definitely try. They've been more than happy to keep helping me after buying my 2016 STi from a previous owner.Can't wait to further business with them for my car when I finally get around to getting the turbo Ryan recommend to me. Until then, definitely got a top of the line tune with this car from them.

3rd time they have tuned a car for me and every time I come back I m impressed with how they treat me. I live 4 hours south of the shop and they are alway happy to make exceptions for me so that they can finish the car in one trip. This last time I had brought my BRZ into the shop, Ryan was having some issues tuning my car. Ryan and Walter happily ( as far as I know lol) stayed past closing time to try and figure out what the issues were. well it turns out I had set up a couple things incorrectly on my car, but not one single time did Ryan or Walter complain, ask for more money or even blame these issues on me even tho it was quiet obviously my fault. They were happy to continue working on my car the next day even tho they had other things to be doing just so I could get back home. And they did all this extra work, including some welding at no extra cost. I m blown away with how I was treated and will now recommend everyone that needs tuning to go to Simple performance. The team at Simple Performance are fantastic! I had them perform a full clutch swap on my 2013 WRX. They installed a new Southbend clutch, flywheel and clutch fork all while getting the job done in under a day, and beating local pricing. They did not up-sale me on anything just pure honest opinion's on what I needed and my future plan's for the car. I have invested some good money in my vehicle and it's hard to trust mechanic's these day's. They will continue to have my business, I really appreciate the technical experience from their mechanic's. When I double checked under the car there was no leaks and every nut and bolt was in it's exact place. Thank you Ryan, Nikki and Shop mechanic's you saved my car! These people are awesome! Everyone here is super helpful, kind and patient. They take the time to talk to you and make you feel like you are not just another customer. They are very knowledgeable and if you have any question or just want to throw some ideas out they are very willing to help guide you in any direction possible. I work directly with Walter on my last visit, he was awesome to talk to and was quick and professional getting my exhaust finished and it sounds amazing. When I left I could help myself to set up another appointment. The price for the quality of work and people here is insanely good, definitely one of the only places I would trust to bring my car. I ve contacted them multiple times to try to set up a tune. Told them I have all my parts for it and what I got to do to get things up and running. They told me that they ll need to run it with my parts on to see if any issues pop up. So I asked if I m able to bring it in/set up a time to do so, and haven t had a single response back .. don t think they ll take my business if they can t reply back to you

I do not recommend this place at all, took my car in for a rock knock, and it came out with no problems took it to a different shop and they told me some collections were not connected so all my lights will be on a lot of loose bolts, and some places didn t even have the bolts n the lady in the front desk is no help at all I Will never recommend this place.

The is the most reputable tuner in town. Since they're always super busy, it's usually difficult to get a hold of them on the phone, so it's best to drop by in person. They are very knowledgeable and willing to take the time to answer any questions you have.The downside to my experience was how long it took to get my car back. There was a period of one month where no work had been done because they were wanting some payment up front for what had been done so far. What was problematic about this is that there was no attempt made to contact me during the entire month. I don't feel there was intentional neglect, they just seem to be a little too busy to manage every job efficiently at times.The rebuild and tune were worth the wait though. These guys are incredibly talented and my pro tune came with 4 maps, from economy to full send. Extremely happy with how my WRX drives now. Made great power on my 91 octane maps.Also, there are two cats to pet in the waiting area, so if you like to fluffy animals you're in luck.

I'm beyond impressed with the work that is done at Simple Performance! I have called a numerous amount of times into the shop and have got nothing but top notch service. They have a knowledgeable and detailed answer to everything I ask, and go the extra mile to make sure you understand. I left Simple Performance with a blown trans, and out came a car that has drove better than ever. As soon as I walked out the door and saw my car, I have had a smile from ear to ear. The transmission that was swapped was recommended by Simple Performance and it drives beautifully. They stated most who swap to this trans enjoy it more due to a different FD. And I completely understand why. After getting the trans swapped I got lucky and they squeezed in a pro tune, and the results are amazing. My car not only feels more powerful by a milestone, but is phenomenally smooth!! I would give this rating 6 stars if I could! Please do not waste your money with any other shop, it wouldn't just be a waste of your hard earned cash, but a waste of your time. They did a muffler delete on my 2015 GTI. I've had exhaust work done a few times, so in general I know what to expect. Walter was upfront about the cost, and spent time to make sure the job was done right. A muffler delete can be done in as little as 30 minutes (if you don't really care), but the shop spent almost 3 hours making sure the welds were perfect and everything was aligned properly. I'm very impressed with the work done here.

These guys do HONEST amazing work and are the only people that I will trust to work on my car. Every time I go there to have work done I am VERY satisfied. They are always there when I have a question or problem and go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. I had Walter do a custom cat-back exhaust on my outback and it came out PERFECT not too loud not too quiet and all tucked up to survive driving through lots of snow. The exhaust even gave me an extra 20+ HP and TQ! If you are looking to have work done on your car or truck this is the place to go!

I will get right to the point with this review .My experience with Simple performance and their crew .. Walter , Ryan & Nikki . Has been nothing short of superb . Besides being extremely professional and knowledgeable. They are all very down to earth people that make the experience pleasant and appreciated. They have done nothing but help me through this whole process of getting the right parts for my car and now they have tuned the car .I work at a highly respected car shop myself and can say with certainty. These guys and gals know what they are doing . Plain and simple I will never take my Subaru to anyone else out there . My car has never ran better than it does after Ryan dyno tuned the car . It went from a fun quick car that was in decent shape . To now running like a finely sharpened diamond blade . Couldn t be more happy with the turn out . If you are in the market for Quality honest work, backed with a deep knowledge on how to make a car run at its best . Look no farther . Simple Performance is 2nd to none .
