Prices are too expensive, especially in repairing parts, Manager looks like he never had money in his life,no control of prices at all,like he is the only one in Utah, monopolistic mechanic,those type of shops need inspections from the state to take care of the customers who are suffering from the high cost of living.My budget is fine ,as I said it's not fair to fix a part in half hour and get charged for 2 hours or 3 hours, I know you have 30 years of experience and work just I'm requesting a great customer service and convenient prices relation to the time of fixing the parts,no exaggerating in hours of fixing it.In all over good luck with your work.Who did good will get a good karma and vice versa.

This is an old school shop. It goes beyond just a job for these guys they want to do the very best job possible and stand by their work. Their prices are always fair and Scott works hard to make customers for life. We moved to Saratoga Springs last year and we still drive up to Murray to have them work on our cars.

Went to Quick Lube today after calling around for Oil Change prices and finding them to be ridiculously high elsewhere ($105+!). $75 for full synthetic oil change, plus desperately needed a filter, which is only available from Honda, so they ran over to Honda, got it cheaper than what I would have paid, and I was still out of there within 40 minutes. Great service, nice people, will definitely be back with our other cars!

Earlier this year, they helped me to get a new muffler hanger for the car I drive and what a relief to have that be done diagnosis wise, but also cost wise. Less than I thought cost wise for sure!I was able to get an oil change done in a timely manner without an appointment needing to be made in advance (such as a day or longer in advance). The price I paid was great and especially given the year of the car I drive (a 2019). I admit I am embarrassed that the carpet floor mats in the front of the car (I hope that makes sense) needed to be vacuumed and I was going to do it myself in due time, but what a wonderful surprise that it was done for me during my oil change appointment. I wasn't expecting that and I am very grateful for that extra bit of kindness as well as service given to me.Keep up the great work at this location!

Scott is the best! they were super busy but be was able to get me in the next day after reading my car and it was done by the time I got off work for a very fair price. I highly recommend Scott and his team over any of the corporate chains of mechanic shops. as a young woman in a big city, it is easy to be manipulated by people who don't think we know what we know.. I really value the honesty and integrity here.

Wish I could give them 6 stars. They have gone above and beyond to get my vehicle working again. I am so impressed by the staff and the manager, Scott, for their honesty and helping teach me about my vehicle's problems. I will continue to come back to them, even though we now live in Saratoga Springs!

The only issue I had, they over charged me by about $37 and then it took 3 days to receive my refund, but other than that, they were very nice and seemed efficient. I went in for an oil change.

My husband and I had them pick up our Kia when it died back in July. We decided it was not worth thousands of dollars to repair and they said they d contact their partner company then pay us how much the car was worth. Ever since then we ve been periodically calling to check in and see how much the car is worth and every time they tell us to call back later, claiming their partner company STILL has not picked up our old car! It s been about 3 months now and we have no idea what ever happened to our old Kia. Avoid this place if you value communication or if you want things to get done in a timely manner!

Incredible , reliable and honest service. Found this place about 2 months back when I had extreme wear on one of my back rotors, I wasn t in the financial position to be swindled into more than the minimum of what actually needed fixed and as a young woman I m used to shops trying to pull one over on me making even minor quick fix issues a stressful experience. The owner and his team were honest, quick, listened to me and did only what I asked for and actually needed at a far lower cost than anyone else quoted me. They are no fluff/frills, shoot it to you straight and get you in & out quick. I now go here for any issues/standard maintenance needs I have and confidently send all my family members and coworkers here when they have issues with their cars. A true hidden gem in the valley. Still going to this shop 6 years later and will continue to take my car there until the state takes away my keys Scott is a hard working HONEST mechanic! His team of guys are always ready to greet me and get right to my car. I've been taking my car to him for over 15 years, at least and would NEVER take my car anywhere else!

I am new to Utah, I moved here from Colorado about 9 months ago.You know how you just have that one place you always take your car? The one place you trust and have confidence that no funky weird business will happen? You know? That's THIS place! Discovered this shop about 2 years ago and have numerous opportunities to use them for everything from simple oil changes to major repairs ac service and inspections. I have found them to be extremely honest and straightforward.When another mechanic had almost convinced my wife that she needed a costly transmission repair, they checked it out and were adamant that NOTHING was wrong. They were right because that was a year and a half ago and many more miles and still no need for transmission repair.If you want an honest mechanic at fair prices, this is the auto shop you want to go to.Update September 2023.Had the car serviced at the Lexus dealership since it was part of our original purchase package. The dealership gave me a long list of maintenance that would cost $1,400.Took the list to Scott he did take care of what needed to be done for under $300.

I pulled up with roughly 10 minutes before closing to ask a quick question and without even a minute passing they turned off their open sign just because I pulled up. And the last time I was in there they overcharged for an oil change and added on a bunch of random things I didn t ask for including adding air in my tires for a few dollars. (My tires were fine and didn t need more air)

I went in for an emission and inspection and I had the pleasure of speaking with Scott. As a trauma therapist, I know trauma can happen in many ways. Mine is from mechanics. Scott was so helpful and knowledgeable. He reminded me of my dad who would help me with anything with my car. I'm glad I found him and will definitely go back. I have been going here for oil changes for the pass year or two. The owner is the best. He s honest. I got my oil changed and my check engine light was on. I previously run a diagnostic test on it and it was a sensor (I think it was just dirty because it would come on and off) and I haven t fixed it because a new sensor would be like $400+ just for the part.He fixed/cleaned it and put air in my tires without saying. Word and didn t charge me for it. I don t think I ll go anywhere else.

I needed an oil change and an inspection and renewal today. But my usual place was booked up. Quick Lube was on my way home so i pulled in. They were Awesome. No waiting for an inspection and renewal, and an oil change. He found my oil filter had not been changed in years, although i had paid for new oil filters at every oil change.. He also found my air filter needed a change as well. The charges were less than my previous shop. My engine now has the power it hasn't had in years. Quick Lube is my new shop.

Took my car there to get repaired I was told it was the Cadillac converter then the light came back on and was told it ways something else wouldn't both codes have showed up, and then he wanted me to pay for more repairs even though the work was guaranteed

These people are wonderful! Worked with us when we were stranded and on a road-trip. Worked with me more and helped me with warranty on my alternator they replaced when the part failed, nothing of their fault, and gave so much information when dealing with that. I would highly recommend them and happy to have given them my business.

Scott has been my ONLY mechanic for 20+ years. Thru four different cars. Never had a problem with his work. Always up front and fair. Never felt like I was being overcharged or tricked, which is very important to me as a woman. Would recommend him to friend and family.

I would not recommend this business at all. We took our car in to replace the spark plugs and coils. They did that and also messed with the alternator, which they deny. Our car won't start at all. We paid $250 for the spark plugs and another $250 for a tow truck. And we financed a van the next day, which was out of our budget. The owner won't take any responsibility and was so rude about it. Scott at Quick Lube has gotten all my emissions test business - that's four vehicles a year for many years. I've had other work done there too, and sometimes the cost is what's posted, other times I've been surprised because it was more than what we agreed to, but I paid anyway. Today, I asked the owner if he'd match a competitor's coupon because I've been a long time customer and I wanted to give him my business rather than go the competitor. He said he would for a $10 processing fee. So really, the answer was "No." I had him do the work anyway and when I returned to pick it up, the owner ridiculed me in front of his staff and others in the shop because of my statement that I was a long time customer which in his mind must have meant that I should I give him all my vehicle business. But since there was a Walmart oil change sticker in the windshield he said "that's not loyalty." Seems he confused my being a long time customer with loyalty. Wow, really? And in front of the rest of the shop? Poor judgement and poor customer service. It seems he doesn't care to keep my business. No problem...Good bye, Scott.

I needed an emissions test and vin inspection, I called him the night before and he said bring it in the morning..they got it done right away that morning and I still made it to work on time. Fast forward to now, all of my household uses this place for all our car problems/maintenance. At worst Scott (I believe he's the owner) scammed/took advantage of me. At best, he didn't take care of me.I took my 10-year-old car to Quick Lube for an emission test. My car failed the test because it needed a new part. I had the part replaced and returned to Quick Lube for the emission test. The result of second test was "not ready" or "no reading" or something to that effect. Scott told me I needed to put 40 miles on the car since having the part replaced in order for the emission test to come back with readable results. I brought the car back after 40 miles, then after 100, then 150, etc. etc. etc. but still got the "not ready" results on the test and Scott just kept telling me to drive it more and eventually it will work.As it turns out, Scott isn't very knowledgeable on the topic of emissions testing. I called the dealership and spoke to an expert and he explained my car needed to complete a "drive cycle" before the the emissions test would come back with results. The drive cycle isn't simply driving the car 40 miles, but a very specific list of actions that must be taken in the car. For example, after sitting overnight, the car must be started and immediately accelerated to 20-25 mph and driven at that speed with no stops or deceleration until the car shifts to 3rd gear...takes on average ~3 minutes of driving at that speed and if you stop, you have to wait till the next cold start to try again.After learning about the drive cycle and completing it, I return to Quick Lube where my car gives readings and passes the inspection. To my surprise, Scott charged me for another inspection test, even though I believe it was illegal for him to do so. He said it had been so long since my first emission test that it "fell out of [his] system" so he had to charge me for a new one.If Scott were knowledgeable about emission inspections, I wouldn't have wasted so much time in the first place trying to get a reading and my first test wouldn't have fallen out of his system (if that's true). Regardless, Scott should have taken care of me and not charged a second emission test even if it did leave his system.Impossible to recommend Quick Lube to anyone given my experience with them.Service: Emissions testing

So took my Cadillac in to get our AC charged up and my girlfriend who saved up for 2 months to get this done took me into this place because it was recommended from a friend of his, not only did he charge his twice the amount of what the service fee is to do an AC he charged us $200 btw, not only that but it only lasted my AC only lasted for 2 hours taking my car back in there he then tells us there's other problems which you think he would have checked the system which is what they're supposed to do anyways is check your system and make sure there's no leaks and there's no nothing wrong then notify you ahead of time but every time I talk to him this is on the phone and in person he gave me a different reason why it didn't work and how I needed to get this new part and that new part this guy is the worst mechanic I have ever met and I got a bunch of mechanics in my family, do not go to this guy he will rip you off!!!!!!

Quick is the operative word.. Got in and out really fast. Customer service was great. Price point it's exactly where it should be. Not like the ridiculous prices precision tune charges. .

Exceptional staff who performs honest work. I will never go to another shop! I have used their services for over 3 years. It isn't a shop that is competitive in pricing. The mechanics know their worth and get paid for their skill level. My two cars are babied by these guys and I couldn't be more grateful for their honesty and hard work in ensuring my vehicles are safe and ready for the road.
