This place is dangerous. The owner was so good on lying and acting. Maybe need to become an actor. We go here a lot of time, for many years. I trusted him but he ripped me off this time! Will never go back here.He is charging me a work worth if $5,500 (that he told my friend in front of me on a phone call, on loud speaker because of this humungous transaction) for almost $14,000.And that was not the worst. He lied to me that he is giving me a new engine while he told my friend he doesn t have a new engine for the same specs with my truck. He said that for my truck will be having only rebuilt engine because of the year (2001) and Ford will decide what kind of engine that they will give me.And there s more. 3 months after my truck broke down again, he is making me to pay more money to fix the truck for whatever lie he is making. (Should be under warranty for 100,000 miles like shown in the paper). He is charging me extra $1,200 for radiator and $2,200 for another new engine! (Remember new! Not rebuilt)And telling me that no more warranty afterwards.Me and my friend confronted, and he told me that I don t need to pay the engine just new radiator. He don t want to show me any proof that he got me a new engine so at the end he decided that I don t need to pay the engine (the extra $2,200)I don t trust him anymore so I bring my truck to other mechanic, and guess what!!!The engine installation was not done right!The truck can t run more than 50mph, the intake manifold (that supposed to be new) was leaking. My new mechanic claiming the warranty for that.And some other thing that I don t understand. But for a work that worth more than I could spend in the Ford Dealership. This was sooooo bad!So my suggestion was to avoid this mechanic shop!

With fair pricing and quick turn around repair times, L and T has been my go to for my Toyota for years. They keep it running and happy to have found this auto place. Friendly service too!

They do solid work, but lately every time we go in the bill ends up being WAY more expensive than expected. Nice enough people, but English doesn't seem to be their first language so it's been a struggle getting what we want done. After a terrible experience with a different mechanic I was able to get in and out took about 30 mins and paid way less than the last place wanted to charge.

Wow! Thank you so much!We ran into an emergency on our trip through salt lake. Our windshield wipers went out on a cross country road trip. I called a day ahead with the info, they ordered the part and had it there for me the next day. When we arrived in town we were able to get both windshield wiper motor x2 replaced! In less than an hour! Wow! Seriously thank y all for the amazing and efficient service!

The owner Lin and his team always go above and beyond! Any time I have any mechanical issues, they take care of me and do a great job. Very fair and honest.

I have been coming here for years and I have never had any issues with the mechanic. Every time I have gone to get my car fixed or for maintenance he always helps me fast. If you want a fair competent mechanic, this is the spot. I needed work done on a Saturday and talked to six shops. Very reasonable pricing, and he was able to get it done quickly (which I know that can t always be the case). Thanks Linh!

I ve always gone to Lin to fix my car and he s always done a good standard job. I took my vehicle in 1/29 to get checked he informed me would be 750$ to get things fixed and get the check engine light off I was hesitant to pay the money but my wife insisted we do it. We pay the money get the car back and drive home the next day check engine light is on again Lin asked to bring the car back in which case we do 2/1/22 and he informed me now my cars catalytic converter has gone out and would be over 1000$ to fix not even 20 miles driven or 2 days what a scam I will never go here again.Service: Engine repair

This auto shop is absolutely amazing! Lenh and his crew really care about doing a good, quality job. His prices are fair, and his work is reliable. He replaced my boyfriend's engine in a matter of a couple days. He always is able to find the best deal on parts. This shop has been our go to for a couple of years now.

If you want your vehicle fixed right and inexpensive- this is the place! I brought my car here twice for "noises" and was told- no problem, just age of the car. And Not charged a penny! I get my emissions & tags here too! Wonderful, honest mechanics!

In a world of not so honest mechanics, Linh and his team stand alone in Poplar Grove as the number 1 most reliable and honest around. Fair priced and timely, he has serviced all of our vehicles at one time or another and it is never a hassle. 10/10 from our studio.

Lynn was recommended to us by another mechanic, to repair a leaked gasket on our Honda Pilot that was causing an overheating problem He took time with us, was always friendly and helpful, and his prices were fair. Most importantly, after 3 unsuccessful attempts with other mechanics, our Pilot is now running well again (and has been for 6 weeks, even in the middle of summer!) We will definitely continue to use Lynn's services, even if we have to drive an hour to get to him!

I brought my car in because it was shuttering when I drive, I said that was the issue I needed fixed right away. I do not know a lot about cars. Guy fixed everything EXCEPT the shuddering that makes my car unsafe to drive and charged me almost a thousand dollars. My car is not fixed, all I wanted was the shuttering fixed (I now know I need an alignment which is hundreds less than what I spent on all the other things, that I genuinely could have waited on). I feel scammed, I still cannot safely drive my vehicle. I am not wealthy, I am a college student girl, and I spent my entire savings to still be unable to drive my car. Wouldn't recommend this place unless you are very knowledgable about cars, and can't get scammed.

These guys are great! I've never been disappointed, they are honest and super friendly. Every time I have come for service they are happy to see me and are lightning fast, they some of the most hard working and honest mechanics I have ever worked with.

Very knowlegable and helpful mechanic. I was looking for an honest shop where I could have my vehicle serviced as needed and wouldn't rip me off blind. Found L and T to have both integrity and experience when it came to diagnosing and repairing a major and potentially dangerous issue my truck had as well as several underlying problems I would've ran into down the road. I definitely would recommend L and T Auto to anyone with a car or truck.

Linh is a very honest and hardworking man. He has a great character and personality! Not only does he do a fantastic job but he has a quirky sense of humor that always makes me smile. If you're looking for a family ran business, this is your shop. This local business is more than a mechanic shop.

I wish I could give him more than 5 stars. I was told I needed a new transmission by someone else who was asking for $4000.00 but then I took it to him. He took the time to figure the problem out and it was just one of my catalytic converters. He switched it out and did everything at a fantastic price!! I will go to him from now on.

Father & son mechanic shop located near SLC airport, Lin was great to work with in swapping out my breakpads and shocks on my Subaru Outback. He even found a broken piece while he was under there that he replaced!Conveniently I left my car with Lin when I was headed out of country on some travels, he dropped me off and picked me up in my car!!While I did not meet his son, Lin was a kind man that did a fine job on my vehicle.Thanks Lin!!Services: Auto glass repair, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

It's been about a year since they rebuilt my motor, and although it was more money and time than expected, everything seems to be running well and they were very pleasant to deal with. I don't think they were trying to rip me off, I just think Xterra parts are expensive.

Awful! Came in for an inspection on my car, the only thing that they did was simply lift my car and look at it for 60 seconds .. Really! For 65$ they didn't even bother to check any fluids. Scammers! Stay away!Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

L and T took great care of me with some major front end work. The book said it was a 14 hour job. It took them 6 and that's what I was charged for. Honest job with quality work. I will be back when I need work done again.

L & T Auto is the best! Link has taken care of my cars for 3 or 4 years now. L & T has always had the best prices, and fastest turnaround time of any other mechanic, I've gone to for quotes. I HIGHLY recommend L & T Auto!!!

It's labor day weekend and everyone is busy but we were able to get our car in and worked on within the hour before he closed up early. Fast and friendly! Will come here again for any other repairs needed.
