Alex was great to work with. No pressure. Got us a great deal. Even went out of his way to get the car to us after detailing by delivering it to our house. Above and beyond.

Great repair experience from start to end. I could book an appointment online, with many available times. When I showed up, they were ready for me, and even vacuumed my car. They were transparent with the estimated costs and arranged for a ride for me back to work. The tech made an awesome video explaining the problems and recommendations and texted me the video. The service adviser Colby was responsive and accommodating. I've been to other Hyundai dealers, but nothing like this. Exceptional.

Great experience all the way through. We stopped at a few of the surrounding dealerships but ended up being won over by Esiah and our new Tuscan. They offered more for my 2007 Elantra than the other dealerships by $200. Even though the policy is posted everywhere, "$3,000 maximum on credit cards", when we told Esiah we had a credit card minimum of $4k to meet our bonus, they willingly upped the credit limit. We never felt rushed or pushed into any of our purchases. We did our homework ahead of time which made it easy to decline some coverages and buy others. Even the waiting area for the service fits my vibe (clean, minimum with free stuff ).

I'm happy for all the attention that sales agent Lola gave me. We worked for many months until I could make the decision to buy a car. She was always so attentive, and she always responded to my messages. She worked tirelessly with management so we could get a good deal. Furthermore, if you speak English, Spanish or Portuguese she can also help you. I will be a client of Lola for more business in the future. Exceeded my expectations.

Bought a kona electric and extremely satisfied with it! I loved working with Esiah, he was so knowledgeable and friendly. He helped us get the best deal, so if you re planning on going here I highly recommend Esiah!

I had a great first time buying experience at this dealership. I did not have to give much advanced notice to set up an appointment with a salesman and they had a good inventory and options of the vehicle that I wanted to purchase. Tim Leatherwood was the salesman that helped me and he made the whole experience comfortable, and it went very smoothly. Everyone at the dealership was kind and helpful, and for a car buying experience it was very easy going and stress free, which I appreciated a lot. I'm looking forward to working them in the future with any that I may need for my vehicle.

Set up an appointment at 10am for routine maintenance and needed the car back by 4:30pm. They assured me it would be done in an hour or two. They are started working on the car at 4:00pm and called me that they would not be able to finish it. They told me that they would need to keep the car overnight but would give me a loaner. However, when I showed up to the dealership they had no loaners. So, I left the dealership at 4:30 with my car, that had no work done to it.

These guys are Phenomenal. I was driving a 2017 Nissan Sentra S. The basic model. It was so small for me. That being said, I needed a bigger car. Greg Huff the car Salesman was fantastic to work with, they got me a car that I didn t think was possible. Pouyan the Finance manager is great. He explained everything I needed to know, and more. I highly recommend Greg Huff as the car salesman and Pouyan as a finance manager. Such great people. I will be returning in the future. :). Such a great dealership.

Do not buy a car from here, or have any maintenance done if you value your time and sanity. It all started when I got phone calls about looking at a car I viewed online. The salesman made an appointment with me to come look at two vehicles that evening. I get there to be informed they were sold earlier. Would ve been nice to know! Eventually the salesman shows me a car in my price range and that it s not on the sales floor so to speak, so if I come in it will be there. It was. I bought it. But the financing was a JOKE. I specifically asked to be financed at my bank. Told I was approved and lucky for me I didn t take the vehicle that day because I wanted to handle my totaled car first. When I came to pick it up, they said I wasn t actually approved and financed me somewhere else. I called my bank to ask why and they put my income as $200 a week. The woman jokingly mentioned she made a mistake in doing that the first time but that she fixed it. Apparently not. Not to mention the forced nearly $1,000 charge they add to install a tracking device literally no one wants. They didn t even explain how to access it. Then when I take my car home, I notice some of the features like the outdoor temp gauge (which correlates to your heating and AC working correctly) wasn t working. Before even leaving I told them about it because I had a video sending to my husband showing the car and it was working then (the day I financed it). Salesman said it would fix itself by the time my plates came in, but if it didn t they d fix it. Sure enough it didn t so I had it fixed. Just kidding! After picking it up from repair, it was worse. The temperature gauge was all over the place, my external power for apple car play, aux and charging didn t work, and the dials for the power of my AC also didn t work! The problem literally got worse. Brought it back to be fixed again, cause I m not paying elsewhere to have their problem fixed, and no one has communicated anything. They said it would be done Monday or Tuesday. Wednesday comes with no contact and I am just now being informed that they re waiting on the part, which I was told they had, and it will now be done Friday or maybe Monday. I cannot urge you enough to give your business elsewhere. I came here off the recommendation of a good friend who works at another location. Maybe theirs is better because this has been nothing but a pain in the butt. So disappointed all around. Do better.

Don t we all have bad experiences at service centers? Mine with Ken Garff downtown was just baffling. I took my car in for an oil change and to get the catalytic converter replaced on the day before Christmas Eve, which probably was my first mistake. They told me it would probably take all day and asked if they could keep it over the weekend if it needed longer. I told them no, that it was Christmas weekend and my family lived in another county, if it needed to be there longer or wait for parts, I wanted the car back and I would bring it first thing Monday morning. Friday came to a close and two hours before closing time I still hadn t heard a word from these people. I decided to call myself and no one would answer the phone at the service center until there was 20 min to closing and they told me sorry, all the technicians were gone by then and my car was taken apart in their garage, so I couldn t get it back. No offer of a loaner or any sort of help after promising my car back for the Christmas weekend. Come Monday and still not a single person contacted me for an update on my vehicle. Tuesday came and I finally decided to call them again and someone working there told me that there was something much more major wrong with my car than the catalytic converter and that s the only update they had. Wednesday came and someone finally called and said it actually was the catalytic converter and it would be finished in an hour for me to come get. Why was my vehicle there 6 days for? I m still not sure. Why would no one answer the phone and then when they did they had conflicting information? Lack of communication. To top it all off, I finally was able to go pick it up and when I did my car was dirtier than I had left it. They used no mat on the floor so it was covered in mud and someone working here had eaten popcorn (?) in my front seat and gotten it all over. Thank you Ken Garff for your poor customer service and for having a little snack in my vehicle, making a mess that I will now have to go clean. What a joke this was.

Tim from Sales and Laura from service are fantastic. Shout out to them. They are efficient, professional, and KIND. But the rest of service department needs some serious customer training. No follow ups. No ownership. They will make an "unofficial" appointment with you cuz they say they are booked out then take a day off on the day you have an appointment with them. Or quit. Literally quit. And my car is left there for days with nobody following up with me. Part ordering takes 2 months. From California. Would've taken longer if I hadn't checked in. Very unprofessional group of people who need better management and leadership.

Best dealership I've worked with. If you go in have Steven Sparks help you. He's got your back, friendly and listens well. The whole team was great that got me my new vehicle. They did everything they could to get me into the car of my choice and gave me a great deal.

Tim was fantastic! If you are able to work with him, just do it! My entire experience at the dealership was great. Everyone was friendly and kind. Tim's follow-up was great...not too much, not too little. I let him know what I wanted and he called when he had something. I highly recommend Tim and Ken Garff Hyundai.

TLDR: I changed my 5 star review to 1 star after having my car kept overnight twice (without advance notice) at the service center for simple appointments that were scheduled early in the day. Their lack of communication and inability to honor their commitments has caused me to lose trust in Ken Garff Hyundai Downtown.Full review:I scheduled a service appointment in the morning of February 14th 2023. When I dropped my car off, I was told my appointment would take a couple of hours and I would be called when my car was ready. I waited past the time I was told to expect the call and did not hear from them. I called for an update and was told the service center was behind and I would be getting a call later in the afternoon to come pick up my car. I was frustrated, but they were apologetic and I trusted them so I patiently waited. By late afternoon, I had not received a call so I called again for an update and was told they would call back once they confirmed the status of my car. This time I did get a call back, but was apologized to because the mechanic who was working on my car had gone home for the night and I would not be able to pick up my car until the next day. I was left without my car on Valentine's Day, which greatly impacted my evening plans and my commute to work the next day. I did get my car back the next morning and I initially felt that my terrible experience must have been a fluke (see my original review below).I went back on September 28, 2023 for an oil change and wheel balance. I again scheduled an appointment in the morning. I was again told the appointment would take a couple of hours. I again did not receive an update until I called for one, after the time I anticipated hearing from them. I was told they were behind and would need to keep my car overnight AGAIN. I did not get an update until late morning the next day and was told I should be able to pick my car up in the afternoon. The update I received late in the afternoon was that they recommended new tires instead of balancing my wheels. They then tried to sell me new tires and promised to have my car ready for me by 5:00 that evening. I was beyond frustrated and did not trust I'd have my car back that night if I had them replace my tires. It was a Friday and I had already had to rearrange my entire day because of their poor service and communication YET AGAIN. I declined the new tires and picked up my car. It took two days just to get a oil change. Further, the man who worked on my car offered more of an excuse than an apology for the horrendous communication.I've now found somewhere else to get my car serviced as I no longer feel Ken Garff Hyundai Downtown puts their customers first. I will not be going back.Original review, posted February 2023:I've been getting my car serviced here for over a year and I don't want to go anywhere else. These guys are the real deal. I usually work with Laura Gilson and she always makes me feel heard and valued as a customer. I don't trust auto shops and dealerships easily as I've had so many discouraging experiences in the past, but Ken Garff Hyundai Downtown has earned my trust and loyalty. I got my emissions testing and registration done at this location this week and experienced some poor communication (not from Laura). I was frustrated initially, but both Daniel Packer and Laura ensured I was taken care of and went out of their way to make things right. They know what their brand slogan "We Hear You" means. I'm not going anywhere else any time soon to get my car serviced. Thank you, KGH Downtown team!

My Tucson 2024 at 9000 miles was already giving problems on the brakes, they change front rotors because that supposed to be the problem, at 24000 miles my car it is shaking like a dryer at any speed, that makes me feel super unsafe. I went today to another ken garf to look for a solution and they told me that the front rotors are good. But they don t tell what is the problem when my car is soo new. Every time that I go to service they say my car is good when is not good. I wanted to know who can give me a salution about it before this damage something different on my car.

Our Sales guy David Suljic (and Tim) was great. He was attentive and helpful. The rest of the dealership was so so. We didn't feel like the managers were "hearing us". They tried to charge a ridiculous amount for some extras that we didn't ask for (and were already on the used car). When we asked for a discount, they "Threw In" those items to make us feel like they gave us something. They did give us $1000 off of the $53K car. So I guess they heard us a little bit. They added their oil change package and insisted that we had to purchase it. It's not a horrible deal, but I would rather choose whether to purchase such things. We also waited for a very long time to get into the finance office. For some reason they only had one guy on a Saturday. We spent over 8 hours at the dealership. We love our car! We loved David! But the rest wasn't the best experience we have had at a dealership. We would probably go back if they had a car we really liked, but we wouldn't go out of our way to patronize them again.

I liked my time here. Breidan sold me a car he was friendly, helpful, and really knew what he was doing. He answered any questions I had and worked hard to cut down some of the paper work time. I would buy a car here again!

Don t go here unless you want to be taken advantage of. I went there today to buy a 2008 Chrysler 300. It only books out at $7200 and that s high end. They are asking $9850 for a car that s only worth $7200. They told me they could only come down to $8500 for a car that is only worth $7200. And I was planning on trading in my car which is a 2014 so it is six years newer and my car books out at $12000. They offered to only pay off my car which is $9000 so I would have immediately lost $3000 on my car, and then paid $1300 more than their Chrysler 300 is worth. So all and all I would have lost $4300 right off the bat. When I refused they turned me away. As soon as they realized that I had knowledge and knew my stuff and they werent going to be able to take advantage of me they refused to work with me and told me to leave. They will only work with you if they can take advantage of you. Furthermore they lied to me multiple times. I have the apps for all three major credit bureaus on my phone. All three have my credit score in the 700 s the manager told the salesman that when he ran my credit that my credit score is only 630 which is a lie. I even showed the salesman my credit scores on all three apps. Also I told them that I would only finance through my credit union. And the manager told the salesman that he sent it to my credit union and my credit union came back and said that they would only approve me if I put $3000 down. As soon as I left I called my credit union and they said that not only did the dealership not send them anything but nobody at my credit union told them I needed to put $3000 down. So not only are they crooks but they are liars too. The salesman I was working with was very nice. He even pulled me aside privately and told me that they were trying to take advantage of me. It s the manager there that is a knucklehead. And to top it off I lost 9 points on my credit today. So all in all I didn t even buy a car from them and they still managed to take advantage of me. What an absolute rip off. Do not ever go here! They are crooks!!!

Horrible customer service and wait times. I went in person to get an estimate for body damage. I was told they only see people on an appointment basis, since their techs only come in on certain days. I made an appointment for the following week and showed up on time. The same guy (JOE STUBBS) I scheduled my appointment with told me it would be a 2hr wait time. I asked what the appointment was for, and he said "it is already 10AM, the techs have been here since 8AM so there are people ahead of me." What's the point of showing up for an appointment? Totally misleading and the rep was super rude. Lastly, they informed me the diagnostic test was $160. This was never mentioned.

I am giving two stars because the technician did the job and knew what she was doing, otherwise it would only be one star. I would suggest the technician finds a better place to work. After getting service there, I noticed the floorboard on the passenger was raised like a jack was put in the wrong place. I put in a call and the service manager did not respond. I had to go there twice to get help. The immediate response from the service manager was to blame me, the customer, and assume I was trying to get something for nothing. Even though it has the same tires as when I recently bought the car from them, the service manager said I must have changed a tire wrong, or that I was working on it and did it myself. He set out to prove his point. They were able to tell what type of jack it was from and let me know that they don't have that type. A sales opportunity would have been to suggest that perhaps it was a theft issue and an alarm for my car would be a good investment. The service manager's poor communcation and assumptions reflect poorly on the whole dealership. The service advisors also do not communicate well and when I had the salesperson agree to certain things being fixed, they misunderstood and relayed incorrect information to my mom, that had taken the car in for me while I was at work. They have been condescending and miscommunicated what the technician reported each time. The sales department was good, but I will never buy from them or take my car to them again because of the poor customer service of the service department and particularly the service manager.

Their Service Advisor, Joe Stubbs, always takes great care of me whenever I go to this Dealership Service Center! He is so friendly and attentive with all of my needs and always takes the time to address any questions that I have from my vehicle purchase to any warranty or service questions. They are lucky to have him at this Dealership!

This is probably just "a couple of bad apples," but they directly reneged on an eligibility offer made on part of the handshake purchase agreement. They failed to choose a financing option that would provide eligibility, and informed me that I was, indeed, eligible, but that there wasn't a great way to follow up with the manufacturer. When it was discovered that I was not eligible for the offer due to their error, they provided an item of much lower value, and outright reneged on another part of the offer.A man who looks you in the eye, shakes your hand, and then renegs, is no man. Those are the actions of a liar and con artist.EDIT: While there was an issue, the GM made good on the agreement and fixed the situation. Training employees should be a priority so this doesn't happen to other people.

Classic scummy shady car salesmen. The engine to our Hyundai Santa Fe broke due to Hyundai problems and so we were forced to replace our car without much time to shop around. I went into this dealership at 9am and wasn't able to get a deal made to leave until 3pm. At that point I was starving and so tired to make a good decision which i'm sure they planned for. I test drove the car I wanted and found out that the odometer was wrong by 8,000 miles from their listing. I mentioned this and asked to change the price to reflect the mileage and they said they couldn't do anything. They try to squeeze every cent out of you and promise they don't make commissions and will lose money on the deal if they go any lower. My sales consultant Breidan Holland was extremely unprofessional. I asked to get new tires and windshield wipers added into the deal because both were awful and rather than including them in the price, they added it to the total and even overcharged me for them. They charged me $400 to buff the hood which I canceled afterwards and Breidan tried to convince me that I only paid $100 for it and would only get $100 back. A week later I tried texting and emailing Breidan to see if he could get me a receipt of what tires and wipers were added so I could plan on when they would need to be replaced and three months later he still won't respond. Finally hours after filling out the paperwork they took me back to do the financing and again they took advantage of my fatigue and used confusing terms to sell me extremely overpriced insurance packages which I got refunds for a week later after taking the time to read the contracts. They even told me I was getting a "friends/family discount" after I told them I didn't want any insurance. They smile and act very kind while behind the scenes they are ripping you off and the second you are out the door they go cold and no longer "care about you" as a customer. I would not recommend anybody to ever do business here.

Took my car in for a scheduled service appointment. Paul mansplaned things to me and did not listen. Told me an oil change person could not take care of my headlight issue. I said that is why I made an appointment detailing my issue. Said car would be done by Noon. No call. Called at 4 something pm. Come get car. Did not rotate my tires. Nail in front left tire, still in left front tire. Not sure oil was changed either, won't answer that question. Told Paul to let them know not to touch cabin air filter. Pulled it and sat it in the engine compartment. We have purchased and service several cars at this location. Not impressed with the handling of this issue. Diagnosed the light, it was exactly what I said the problem was. According to the dash light.Love those billboards with the big ears, we hear you. They will not respond to me. They don't hear me.

We had a great car buying experience with David (sales) and John (finance). David answered more questions than any sales person ever. John was so good to us with paperwork and our kids running around his office while we signed.Would I say we got a killer deal in terms of price? no. But cars are expensive right now. That part would have been the same at any dealership. However, what we did get is excellent customer service. They worked all of our paperwork up while we took our kids home for nap and when we got back to the dealership it was a relatively quick process to close. The 5 stars was earned when, after buying the car, we misunderstood some of its features and came back. A sales person and the service manager came out to explain the parts and features. Their patience and respectful attitude towards me was so helpful. The questions we had were erroneous and they could have made me feel like an idiot but they treated me with dignity and I really appreciate it. Thanks Garff Hyundai!

Esiah and David (manager I m pretty sure) were so attentive and listened to my concerns and even offered me alternatives. They made sure the car I bought included everything I wanted and was looking for! Amazing customer service and they were extremely patient and professional. I will be returning for any purchases I make in the future! 10/10 would recommend!

This place, I believe, say they are doing your services on your vehicle but do not. Like oil changes, tire rotations, etc. Had proof of it, too. Also, don't fall for the 3 oil change purchase that they claim doesn't expire. Liars!!!! They expire in a year. Their maintenance department needs a deep dive. Sorry, I'm not impressed .

Of the 6 cars my wife and I have purchased through this dealership this will be the last. The loan requires a gps tracker to be installed (plad tech) which they charged me 900$ to setup. After the loan is complete I will then have to pay an extra amount to have it removed.(This was never required on the previous 5 cars)Not only is this a slap to the face for a privacy violation. But they then charged ME to have it installed and for the service. And will now place the removal fee on me as well.Which this is just a wonderful experience after surviving a car crash which totaled my previous blue santa fe (mind you blue santa fes no longer exist apparently)The sales guy was great everything else is downhill from there.
