I love going to Excel, because I know what I'm going to get when I go there. They are always honest, and never try to push things (for extra money) on the customers, like so many shops try to do these days. If they do suggest to fix something, it's something that really does need to be fixed. The staff is always friendly, and very knowledgeable.

Excellent service.The owner was very polite and listened to all our requests very patiently before starting the service. He gave us different offers and discount options without us asking about it.We took our own engine oil filter which was deducted by the final price for synthetic oil change. The oil change service was also very smooth. Overall excellent service. Will come back again.

Best automotive specialists in the valley. I live in Lehi but choose to drive all the way to their shop every time I need work done on my car. I wouldn t go anywhere else. You know they are giving you the best deal because they are run by good and honest people.

I have been going here for years. This is one of the places you can trust in Salt Lake City. They do great work, they don t bully you into unnecessary repairs, and their customer service / staff is top notch. Their prices are also very competitive. They can often get you in on the same day and are very open to working with your schedule.

I called and they fit me in, same-day. Not only was the work swift and the prices fair, but they called to let me know the power steering fluid I keep in my car was not the right kind for the vehicle. They also examined my tires and tested my radiator system. Good shop, will definitely be back

I called to get my oil changed and brakes checked, and they fit me in same day. I showed up a couple minutes early and they took my car in instantly. Everything was fast. The waiting room made it very comfortable, and they had snacks and drinks for you while wait.

Moved to SLC area recently and was looking for an affordable oil change. Excel automotive charged me a little less than $50, where other places quoted me for $70+. They also do a free pre trip check at the same time. My back differential fluid was low and has a small leak (which I already knew about). They did not recommend an expensive repair but simply replacing the fluid and keeping an eye on it every year. The lobby has comfy sofas to sit on and friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

Excel is the automotive specialists that my family goes to every time whether it is a broken part are or a simple oil change.Excel provides excellent service and pricing.We have had brakes replaced, ignition problems and regular maintenance done here and we are always satisfied. If you haven t tried Excel you should. This is the place you can trust.

A friend who previously worked at the shop recommended me to excel. I just moved here from Phoenix and needed a shop I could trust. As it being my first time here I walked in and met rich. He s super friendly and nice. He got me in the next day for some routine maintenance. And the process could have gone more smoothly. The lobby has some movies playing but they re a lot of hole in the wall food restaurant right next door. While waiting. I would recommend this place to anyone that needs to find a shop they can trust

I had a great experience. The Honda Dealership quoted almost $1000 I'm preventative maintenance - I went here and they did it for less than $200 and only did what was actually needed. They were quick, friendly, honest and efficient. I will definitely be back!

I haven't had any work done at Excel, yet. That's because they were honest with me and told me that what I'd suspected was a problem was actually nothing. The customer service was great. I have found my new mechanic!

They had my appointment and did my emissions inspection quickly! I was also offered a water and provided with a tissue when I had an unexpected nosebleed. Super professional and hospitable. I will be coming here for all my car needs!

My regular mechanic recently went out of business, so I searched for well rated mechanics in the area. Excel came up and I scheduled an appointment. Their schedule was flexible, and I ended up with a smaller bill than original quoted, which was a great surprise. Additionally, I had my emissions and safety renewal done the following week, and they were very quick with everything and explained things simply and concisely. Will definitely be using them in the future.

I found Excel when I lived nearby, and after moving away and having bad experiences with other places, I still make the drive for them. They don't work on you for upsells like other places do. They're honest and respect your time, and I can trust that if they're telling me something needs looked at, it's not because they want an extra buck. I really appreciate that. My only complaint is I wish they were open Saturdays again, so it was easier with work schedules, but I'll still make the trip.

Fast prompt service. They were working on my vehicle before I could get the paperwork filled out. Easy to get an appointment with. Cheapest emissions test fee in Salt Lake County. Only 20.00 for the test.

I've enjoyed Excel as my local go-to for oil change because of their relaxed approach to upsales for the customer and emphasis on speed of services (my oil change typically takes approx. 15 mins). While their walk-in price for oil changes start at 34.95 (with their signature free drink and candy), they often have a website's coupon for the discounted rate of $29 with no loss of benefits.Tl;dr local competitive prices without the uncomfortable salesmanship of other locations.

Imagine my anxiety as I m rushing to get myself and son out the door so I can get to the babysitter and then to work only to find my back tire completely out of air as I begin to back out!! I didn t have many options so I drove across the street (literally) to see if Excel could give me a new tire. They. Are. AMAZING!!!! They were so willing to help me in my time of need, and I felt my fear of being late slip away. They had other cars they were working on and I m so grateful that even though they were busy, they didn t complain about putting in a patch! I realized that they are a 4.9! Do you know how rare that is?? And the reviews that are negative are not because of the job performance, but simply because they were so booked up (they re that good!) when I saw how hard it was to patch my tire, I had to leave a review because the Rick was phenomenal. Thank you Rick!!! Edit: It didn t work. I m on the highway right now and my tire is flat and getting ruined as I type this (yeah, I know I m not supposed to type while driving)Service: Tires

Once again these guys got me in right away, the same day for a service. So easy to work with and reasonably priced. If you want to feel good about the people that take care of your your vehicle then take it to Excel Auto.These guys are great! Willing to work with you to stay on a budget. They will diagnose and give you an honest opinion without any pressure. They take pride in their work and make sure you are satisfied with the job before you leave. Highly recommend to anyone needing work done. Id make an appointment and they will fit you right in.

This is the 3rd year in a row I've come to Excel to have my safety & emissions done and while I'm here I get an oil change too. I don't drive or commute anywhere so I barely get 5,000 miles in a whole year of driving. YES YES I KNOW "it's recommended to have an oil change every 3,000 miles" and but as I just said I'm not driving up mountains or criss-crossing the nation. The reason I started coming to Excel was because they had deal on their sign out from that said $20 emissions. (the price has gone up but not by much) Woot! I'd been paying this other place about $50 or $55 to do it. They'll give you your sticker too. The service here is nice friendly and informative. I just listened to the mechanic tell another customer why his oil was leaking. The mechanic gave him a couple of different options. I prefer a menu of possible fixes rather than someone telling me hey you gotta do this or that because this will happen without explaining why your problem is an issue and here are the top remedies. Overall good pricing, friendly service, and and it doesn't take all day to get an oil change. I recommenel Automotive to anyone that needs any work done. Oh! Call and set an appointment.
