I've been taking my cars to Craig's for a few years and they've always done great work. A very no-hassle/no pressure environment. Great group of guys with years of experience!

Craig s has given good service but on some services, especially oil changes, they are definitely doing some price gouging. Also, they like trying to charge your card before showing the price which I find annoying and suspicious.

Went here to get something on my air filter fixed and it never got fixed; it was $70 and they called me back less than an hour after i dropped my car off. clearly was a rushed job and way too expensive. i went back and asked them to fix it and they said it must have broke in the time between me first going to get it fixed and when i went back. they said theyd have to charge me $30 for the piece and $60 for labor to fix it...the thing that they said they would fix in the first place

These guys were recommended by a shop I usually go to as Craig's does on the spot renewal for registration and my regular place doesn't. I called and asked if they could do the inspection/renewal, plus an oil change. They said yes and to drop it off in the morning.Once I got there, they said they couldn't actually do the inspection/registration, and didn't say why. Ended up just taking it to another shop that could get me in that same morning and they were confused about why Craig's refused. Ended up getting everything done by the other shop in less than 40 minutes, so it worked out better for me, but it was very annoying to waste my time driving up there after being told on the phone that they could do those services.

I have been going here for a few years now and each time has been a good experience. In the past I have felt taken advantage of and talked down to at other repair shops. I have never felt that way here and each employee that I have interacted with has treated me with respect. Teal has always been straight forward and honest with me about pricing and what needs to be done with my vehicles. I appreciate that he gets me in quickly each time whether it s for a repair or just an oil change. I always recommend this place to friends and family if they are in need of servicing. Even only over the phone, it's very obvious that not only is this garage capable, they're incredibly trustworthy. While on a road trip, one of our tires picked up a nail and developed a very slow leak that we discovered when we made it to Salt Lake City...on Memorial Day. Trying to make it to Denver that evening, we drove and called around only to realize that almost everyone was closed. Craig's Service Center was closed too but picked up anyways. A few text exchanges and photos later, he determined that the nail didn't need to be patched right away as it wasn't unsafe to drive on, and he even provided us the name of a friend along our route who was also a mechanic in case we ran into trouble. We made it to Colorado without incident, however, and are very grateful for the kindness and advice Craig's Service Center extended to us even on a well-earned day off.

Awesome place to take your vehicle for general maintenance, oil change, and emissions test.Fair and honest, they don't try to con you into unnecessary repairs.Very polite and they have great recommendations if they don't offer a particular repair or service.Very glad to have been recommended this place!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I ve been coming to this shop for over five years now and the experience is always excellent. Teal does a great job explaining what s going on with my car and exactly what they are going to do to fix it. Prices are always reasonable. I can t imagine taking my car anywhere else, these guys are just really great at what they do.

Went for an oil change that ended up being $180. Didn t ask before they did certain services. Very overpriced and I felt taken advantage of. Won t go back.

I called these guys on a hot hot day in July, hoping to get my AC recharged within an hour. They were busy, but Teale agreed to squeeze my truck into the schedule. I was really impressed by his kindness and his willingness to help, even with a tight schedule. He got my AC recharged so quickly, and I was able to get back to work! 5 stars I will go here again, even if I have to wait a few hours or leave my truck for a week. :)Service: A/C installation & repair

One of the best gas and service stations in the Harvard Yale area.I remember when they carried 92 octane gas. Nobody else was. I don t know how much of a difference it makes. It was worth it though.

Best shop around! Friendly, quick, efficient, and local. My spouse has been there more than I have, but we've both found them to be honest and do quality work -- happy to have them a part of the neighborhood.

Very friendly and helpful, even though they were clearly busy. They fixed my tire fast and when there was an issue with my AC they couldn't fix, they gave me a referral to someone who could.

I just moved to the area and didn't know where to go for my emissions. This place was really close and they got me in super fast. Very friendly!! I will go back next time

I brought in two cars. The first i asked for just a estimate on what it would cost to fix. I find out they just fix the problem and now expect payment.The second car I ask for an oil change and an emissions test. They do it plus replace the air filter and fix one other problem it had. While I'm grateful that they spotted these things and were able to fix them. It would have been nice if they asked me first and they are lucky that I was actually able to afford the extra work they did with out asking me. While the work they did was good and I had no problems so far, I'm still not sure ill be back.

This place is top notch. The more I go here the more I am convinced to shop local. Teal the owner is very personable, hospitable and knowledgeable. I have been going to Craig s for over a year for all my vehicles and my family is committed to use them with are vehicle needs. Lastly they go above and beyond to give you a comfortable and enjoyable experience. My wife and two year old daughter went down to get a simple oil change. Knowing it would take an hour Teal the owner, drove them to Publik Kitchen down the street and picked them up after the vehicle was done. This is true service. We are very thankful for Craig s and there quality services and hospitality every time.Thanks Guys!

Craig's service center is phenomenal! They are one of the most pleasant mechanic shops I've ever interacted with (and as a woman this isn't always the case with many shops). I've taken several cars here and had a wonderful experience. Stetson and Teal were my mechanics for years and after a car accident they we're fantastic about helping me through the process. I bought a new vehicle and as soon as my dealership free oil changes were up I was straight back to Craig's. I even took my parents car here when they were in town over Christmas and Teal got them in right away, and fixed an issue with their heater. As long as I live in Salt Lake this will always be my go to mechanic!

Extremely professional service shop. These guys do it right. My car is kind of long in the tooth (high mileage subaru), and I trust Craig's to help it age gracefully! They are quick on the job, and honest about their work. They'll call you if anything unexpected comes up during a repair/tune-up, and they don't overcharge or try to take advantage. Can't recommend them enough if you live nearby or are traveling through and need a shop you can trust.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Brake service & repair, Oil change

Craig's is my go-to auto service center. I started going when I lived down the street. I live further away now, but it's still 100% worth. Teal (often at the front counter) is super chill, professional, and straightforward. I am disappointed to be charged $65 for a visual inspection. I declined to get the service done after informed prices and estimated 3 days timeframe for a starter replacement. They didn't even consider I contracted and paid for other services on the same appointment. As a new customer, I just expected a nicer treatment.

Awesome place, recommended to me by Mike Palmer Automotive.Craig's has a friendly staff they found the issue with my car right away and took care of it. I thought I had a starter issues, it turned out to just be the battery, they were honest and had competitive prices. If you are having a hard time finding a good honest mechanic look no further than Craig's!

I really appreciated the thorough work these guys did on my Honda Odyssey minivan during just a routine oil change. They replaced our peeling license plate stickers, had great customer service & never talked down to me, and even taught me about better tire options for how heavy our van is, with a free quote included so I could know how much to save up for when the time came for new tires. I'll be a loyal Craig's customer as long as I live here in SLC!

They said they can do emissions test quickly and they really do! I wasn't expecting it to be so quick and easy. But they did the renewal for me and I was in and out in 15 minutes. I will definitely be using Craig's for my future needs.

While on a cross country road trip, we encountered some car trouble while in Salt Lake City, UT for lunch. Another mechanic in the city suggested Craig's and we could not have been happier about the service. They found the issue right away and told us that they could get us on the road the next morning. this was amazing new and came along with a very fair price. HIGHLY recommend this service center!!

Walked in and asked if they could give me a quick emissions test. They took care of me right away and were done in about 15 min.Everywhere else I called wanted me to leave my car for the day or suggested it would take a few hours. Craig s was a life saver since I m crunched on time this week.Going to start coming to them for other services as well. Thanks for your great service!

Friendly people and straight forward. I needed a brake job and an oil change and the guys were quick about it. The only downer was that the oil change was a bit pricey for my liking but they came back and said it's worth the money for the better oil and filter. We'll see. All in all, a swell experience. Would recommend, will be returning.

I am from Utah county, and I was pretty upset when I had a belt snap while running an errand in SLC. I googled the closest auto shop, and was pleased to see how many good reviews the closest one to me (Craig's Service Center) had.I called them, and told Teal what happened, he quickly helped me arrange for a tow, and began preparing his team for my vehicle. Despite having several other customers, his team had my car up and running with 1.5 hours of dropping it off, for a price far below what I was expecting to pay.I told Teal he needs to open up a shop in Utah county. This was the fastest turnaround and best service I've ever seen at an auto shop. They really do a spectacular job.
