Bought tires there, a few years ago. Recently I got a nail stuck in it, and they refuse to fix it. Even though they say they cover a repair from a nail or road hazard, they just kept trying to say I needed new tires. The tires were just fine. Took the tire somewhere else, and they fixed it for free. The Costco Tire store doesn't has horrible customer service. They acted like I was stupid and just kept trying to get rid of me because I wouldn't buy new tires. You are just a number there with not very knowledgeable employees. Save your time. Go somewhere else.

Literally the most painful Costco department in existence. Use tire rack instead. I can t order tires for my corvette because because the car comes with some terrible run flat tires but because the Michelin pilot sport 4s says incompatible on their system you can t have them Installed even though a majority of corvette drivers ditch their oem tires for nicer michelins that are $1600+. Any tire shop in America will put on non run flat tires of the same spec but not Costco if the computer says incompatible no luck. Very inflexible and painful, save yourself time and just have tire rack ship to a loCal installer.Really sad I expect this service from Walmart not Costco but I guess every department can t be great.Cross threaded a bolt.And they screwed up a tire rotation even when I labeled where the tires go they put back left on the back right.Save yourself headache and don t go here

Go with an appointment. The people that work here are exceptional, but do not have the additional facilities or workers to meet the demand. If you have an appointment, you will be ok, if you don't have an appointment, expect to wait behind everyone that does have an appointment. If they tell you there are 4 ahead of you, there are - 4 UNSCHEDULED services ahead of you, in addition to the services with appointments. Great people, but a tough place to stop in and get a quick repair or rotation. W.V.C. and Sandy locations are a bit less busy.

Pulled in for my appointment and was told an hour for a balance. At one hour and fifteen, they hadn t touched my car and claimed to not even have it. Only once they found they had it did they start the work. So they lost my car and just decided not to work on it until I came to ask when it would be done.The whole desk was very disorganized with three people doing the job of one. Or the person about to help someone else in line would disappear out in to the store. Member services came to check why there was such a gathering and had to go find the tire people on a few occasions.The Sandy location is much better organized and has never lost my car.

I have used this location for many years and unfortunately will no longer be taking my vehicles here. The tire prices are excellent; however, the tire balancing practices are decades old.I recently had my truck s tires rotated and asked them to double check the balance of the tires as I get a vibration around 75 mph. When picking up my vehicle I asked about the balance and I was told that they can only statically balance my tires. A practice that has been outdated for decades. I was so disappointed to hear this that I took my truck to another shop the next day to have them balance the wheels. The truck rides as smooth as butter on the highway now.I will not be taking any of my vehicles to a Costco Tire Center until their equipment and practices are modernized.

Great priced tires. Lifetime of free tire rotations. . . Best price in batteries that I have found. Tonight there was a technician at 1859 that came out moments before closing and asked if he could fill my tires up for me. Super kind guy, the name was Kevin. Not many people these days are looking for ways to serve customers in the final moments before closing. Without Kevin, this Costco tire center is easily a 4 star. . . With Kevin it is 5 star as I can say I was genuinely shocked by the random service provided.

The person person with the tattoos was very rude and condescending when I came in for my tire rotation appointment. He unprofessionally addressed us in a loud tone telling us to wait. He immediately seemed in a bad mood before even speaking with us. Through the process of checking he made us feel uncomfortable though his agitated stated it looked like he wanted to shout at us for no reason. I was explaining to him my tires were rotated accidentally at another location and I was coming in to rotate them again. Personally feel like the person with the tattoos should not be working there if he treats people like this. Or if he isn t able to handle stress.

Marc was super helpful today and very friendly! I came over and had a flat tire and not only did he help me put air in it we ended up having to change the tire to my spare! He did all of this, even though they were super busy! Come to find out, I had picked up a plastic piece from an accident he made my day! Thank you marc!

I had a blow out by Costco on my Mercedes and Sean didn t have my size in stock. He however knew I was late for a birthday party for my son and rushed to the nearest Costco to get the tires for me. I m just getting ready to pull out with my new tires and will be on time to the party.

First time I got new tires from here got some on my crosstrek. They endangered my car and put on only 3 out of the 5 lug nuts and left one of them super loose, which isn t great driving on the freeway for me or any potential people who may run into the loose tire on the freeway. Now, with my Volvo, they misread the image of the tire and sold me the wrong tires because aftermarket rims. Now I m out an extra 90 bucks because the people here have shown a pattern of negligence that messes with your wallet and the safety of you and your car. This is the last transaction I m doing with Costco tires. You ve lost my trust.

The price is good, but the wait is terrible. You have to make appointment for new tires and free tire rotation. They are very busy all the time. Customer service is hit and miss.

Set up an appointment for a balance and rotation since i purchased my tires here. Line was super long and we are still waiting in the store almost 2 hours after giving them my keys. They seem to be super busy with not enough employees to handle the flow. Normally I don t leave many reviews but my 3-year old is losing his mind waiting so long circling the store. Crazy. Not happy about that at all.

Bought four tires at Costco about two years ago. Two times in the last three months, I have gone in to get warranty work done because of slow leaks. Both times, they told me that they couldn't just repair the tire 'because the hole in the tire is too close to the sidewall and that is a safety concern'. The first time they showed me the tire damage and I could see it needed replaced. They charged me $28 for a new tire (it was on warranty and about 30% worn out). That seemed reasonable and in keeping with the wear I observed on the tires. But, on this latest tire slow leak (less than three months later) they said I would have to pay $69 for a new tire! When I questioned how this latest tire could have so much wear on it after only about 30,000 miles, the explanation they gave was that 'tires can wear very unevenly.' B.S.! I have kept my tires properly inflated, I have had my tires rotated faithfully according to the warranty instructions, and therefore all of the tires should have about equal wear. I would have noticed if one of the tires was wearing unusually fast. It's only about three months later now than when the first damaged tire was replaced, and this tire now is almost worn out? No way! My tires only have about 30,000 miles on them, and they are warranteed for 89,000 miles! I'm switching to a different Costco, and perhaps even start using a different tire dealer if things don't improve immediately.

I had four tires replaced and an error occurred with one of the new tires. James, the tire center manager drove to my house after work, removed the tire and brought it back to Costco, corrected the problem and also repaired my spare tire, brought both the new and spare tires back to my house and repaired the situation, dedicating 3hrs of his own time to ensure the tires were correct and safe. Excellent customer service beyond what any customer would expect. Thank you for your dedication.

Had my Michelin tire go flat from some metal on the road. Called my Costco Tire Center, got a quick appointment. Tire was almost one year old. Costco replaced the tire. Even had that one on hand. Everything was professionally done and efficient. Much appreciation to Andy, Ronnie, and Shahab for their demonstration of quality customer service. This Costco shop is the Best!

This store gets a fair amount of turn over ..and it shows. I called and asked them to take my snow tires off and regular on. They said "We have no appointments just come early" I showed up early and they said not until 10:00. (It was 9:30) I then walked up to the door at 9:45 and folks were streaming in. By the time I got to the Tire center there was a wait for 3 hours. I pointed out they had agreed to this she just walked away. This is the behavior of that person alone. Otherwise, the staff at Costco and the tire center as well are outstanding.

I had decent service except when they put in my new tires they did not test my tpms sensor and one failed during this process. I had to schedule an appointment and come back which was inconvenient

I made an appointment for a tire rotation/balance at 3:30. I arrived at 3:20 and checked in, I was told my car would be ready in 60-90 minutes. Seemed a little long but it's not too hard to kill an hour in Costco. I went out to look a little after 4 and my car still wasn't in a bay. It's now been over two hours and they're still not done.

Very poor service here. Slow wait times. Rarely can get someone to answer the phone. Cutting Corners is their middle name. If you don't have the time to keep your vehicle here a whole day then don't bother. Had to come back to get an air leak fixed because they just slam your tires on without cleaning and buffing the area for corrosion where the tire bead meets the wheel. First shop i have ever seen that won't torque your lug nuts down to spec at time of service, making you have to come back knowing full well that most wont bother. They won't apply anti seize lubricant to the studs apon request. Hate to find out what their patch jobs are like. If you believe your safety is a priority i would not have your tires installed by Costco. I will go elsewhere next time i buy tires.

I'm in love with their services. I had a flat tire and I drove up to the place. I met one guy called Brandon and he was so nice and kind to me. He took his time to explain what I needed to do. When I told him I didn't have the money to get all four tires as they suggested, he really understood my plight. He went out of his way and replaced my spare tire for me for FREE. I'm so much impressed for his time and reception. I'll recommend these guys anytime, any day, anywhere. Thanks so much COSTCO MURRAY, and thanks so much BRANDON!

Poor customer service. No feedback on the status of purchase and kept postponing. Promised in one week and already over 2 weeks. Also, difficult to reach the Tire Center by phone. Keeps you in a loop. Price might be good but deliver and service is terrible.

What an amazing and friendly experience...Joe saw me with a flat tire in the parking lot and immediately offered to help me out. He was able to patch my tire on the spot for free which meant I could get back on my way to work with minimal stress. Thanks for saving my back!

These guys are the best.Called in right before they were closing for a tire repair, and they still helped me even though I wasn't in the shop yet. Came into the shop, they couldn't fix the tire because the walls were blown. a good amount of time after their shift was over they still offered to put on the spare and call the other nearby Costco to have a replacement tire shipped in.

Shout out to this place, especially Andy! I was on my way to my graveyard shift when my tire pressure light came on, and I wouldnt be able to take it in for awhile. I came in just barely before closing when everything was already wrapped up & when I explained the situation Andy stayed late and went out of his way to check my tires and pumped up the one that was low for me. He was so nice about it too, and went above and beyond. It saved my evening!:) 10/10 would recommend!

Out tires were delivered today and we were able to take our car in 3 hours before closing without an appointment to get our tires put on. The only reason that I wouldn t give a 5 is because I had to call to found out if my tires had come in because I never received a call. I also had to call 5-6 times before getting someone to answer.

For the warranty you have to have a membership for the life of the tires. Also, the tires they use are Costco specific, even though they have big name companies make the tires for them. This means you have to get any work done at a Costco, which isn't great if you are out of town when a problem occurs.I recently cancelled my membership and put it in my wife's name. If I need to have any warranty work done they will only do it if I have a membership.They aren't the fastest, but being able to walk around Costco and do your shopping while you wait is pretty good. I purchased tires with a 90K warranty, but when I got them replaced I was told that there was also a timeframe ( 7 years I think) that I was past, therefore I got no credit for my reduce miles.

Lied about a tire not being repairable; tried selling me a new set of tires. After I went to another mechanic and they patched the tire for a few dollars.....

I made an appointment to switch out my summer wheels with winter wheels (take 4 off put 4 others on, no mount, no balance). Arrived 15 minutes early and then after 105 minutes got a call that they couldn t swap 2 of my winter wheels because the tire was too worn. They claimed another tech called me earlier but I was there the whole time and watched my car ignored for 90 minutes, plus never had a call logged. I asked them to meet me at the counter where I was standing to find out if they had anything in stock...sadly no, but they could order them. This is 3rd time it s taken 90 minutes with an appointment to get 10 minutes of tech eyeballs and a supposed call . They lie, are unorganized and completely inept! Save yourself time and grief....go somewhere else!Funny thing after I left they called again to say I was due a refund and they could order tires...I hadn t paid anything and told them I didn t want to come back and wait another 90 minutes for them tofigure out they were mistaken! I d post zero or negative stars but it makes me pick at least one.

They sold my online tire order to someone else. Then they made me wait 6.5 hours after i arrived at the time they specified, in the store the next day for them to install the replacements they found at another store.Never buying tires here again.They also left a deep 2 inch long scratch on my wheels...
