Kevin is the best!My daughter took her 20 yr old car in to have the check engine light checked and tail lights repaired. Not only did everything get fixed, Kevin totally worked with us on the cost of repairs to fit within our budget. I never felt like we where being taken advantage of or upsold. This place will be our go to for car repair and service going forward. Thanks, Kevin!!

The diagnostic fee is almost 4 times what it was a year ago.They did the bare minimum and read the code and gave me a quote for a catalytic converter replacement of $2,600. I asked what the readings of the 02 sensors were and they said they were not sure specifics but were normal. I asked if it was an oem part, after market etc. It was oem and after market. I declined as the vehicle is only worth 5k. They phoned again a bit later, miraculously able to get the price down to 1,300 by finding the catalytic converter at a different retailer. I asked again what the 02 readings were, they still did not know, but that they were normal and also said the 02 sensors were overheating. In my experience this would give erratic readings leading to further inspection of the sensor. I felt deceived and declined When I picked up, I asked again what the sensor readings were, they still did not know. Do not recommend

Juan and Aaron were both helpful in getting my rear control arm, speed censor, and power steering fixed on my jeep. They were able to give me a ride home so I could arrange a ride to work.

So grateful for them.Had already taken our vehicle to another establishment who couldn't do safety and emissions for our newly purchased vehicle.My husband brought it here where they also did a courtesy check looking for any other problems or suggestions.Turns out the caliper and rack and pin were cracked and leaking fluid. The caliper alone wouldn't let us pass safety and the rack and pin were so bad it'd effect steering if we left it alone for more than a couple of months.Thank you guys

You need to be careful using this shop if you want to use your Midas "Lifetime Warranty" on brakes. I have all Midas brakes on 3 of my vehicles and never have an issue getting warranty work at the Logan Midas (now Cache Valley Autocare). The Roy location however denied warranty work on brakes that are 15 months old and cost me >$650 last summer. It's embarrassing enough that another Midas (owned by someone else) offered to cover the warranty work that Roy refused. I suggest not wasting your time at this location.

Our Subaru outback s serpentine belt broke on the freeway so we had to pull off. We went to one shop and called three others and only Midas said they would help us! Juan got us in right away, was super helpful, friendly, and funny. I highly recommend coming here!

Work took too long by less experienced tech. Service engine light keeps coming on. It was fixed twice with more parts and expense. Now it is coming on again and I will return it to Midas to fix. Not sure if I will have them do anymore work for me.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

I love going to MIDAS.. I am always treated respectfully, honestly, and fairly. They are experienced, knowledgeable, and thorough. They don t take short cuts. They fix things right the first time. I trust MIDAS. They don t take advantage of my ignorance of car repair or try to sell me things I don t need. It is refreshing to deal with honest, hardworking men. They always go above and beyond. Tim stayed an hour after CLOSING so that I could pick up my car! Who does that? MIDAS!! I still owe them a drink or a pizza. They really helped me out and fixed my car and I haven t had any issues. I never do. Thank you MIDAS! Your quality of experienced, hardworking, honest mechanics has unequivocally slated you to serve all future repairs!!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!

These guys are always great to work with and will honor their warranties without a problem. I would recommend them anytime...Update. No matter what problem I have with my vehicle they take care of me.

Poor service. Over prized work for the repair to only last just a couple of month. Went to ask if they could check and see if it was related to the repaired they did. Came up with an explaination that I have different issue that will cost me 1,500. 00 to repair. I might be ignorant about being a mechanic but I m for sure not stupid. Plus, during the repair broke my glove compartment.

Midas in Roy is the only place I ll take my car. I just moved up here and I ve brought my car here three times. Dennis is on top of appointments, he will get you helped immediately when you schedule an appointment online. His customer service skills are amazing. I also don t feel like I m being hassled or oversold as a woman. The shop is quick and efficient. Good little waiting area with magazines, soda machine and water cups. TV to watch something while waiting. I don t feel like I need to go to any other shop because of how good Midas has been. I d definitely recommend.Services: Tires, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

We brought our car in to see why the AC had stopped working because Midas came highly recommended to me by a couple of friends. The mechanics at the shop determined that the radiator fan wasn't working. They charged us $400 for a fan that I found online for $170 and replaced the fan for $800. My car hadn't been overheating, and I personally observed the fan turning within a week of taking it in, but im a nurse and a service member, not a professional mechanic, so I thought, "let's give it a chance." Needless to say the fan replacement did not fix the issue. When that didn't work they wanted to charge me another $1300 to replace the compressor because now they think the clutch has gone out in it. At this point im furious because I remembered reading online that my particular compressor doesnt use a clutch. So now I've now spent $800 and my car still wasn't fixed. So I said no, and took it to a friend of mine who diagnosed it with the proper equipment and found out the compressor was bad. So he replaced the compressor (which is a clutch-less compressor by the way) and Voila! ice cold A/C. They where kind and seemed to be sincere to my wife, and they gave me a military discount which did lower the cost a little bit, however they clearly where just guessing what was wrong or don't have the proper equipment to work on an A/C system. A simple Google search reveals that the compressor is a clutch-less system. So i dont think they even bothered looking up the part. At the very least an experienced mechanic ought to be able to simply look at the compressor and figure out it doesn't even have a clutch. Instead they chose to just charge me outrageous labor fees and throw random, heavily marked up parts, in my car. I haven't used an autoshop in years because this seems to be a recurring theme within the auto industry. The government really needs to regulate these shops to ensure fairness and honesty because I feel like we where taken advantage of.

Excellent service! Dennis is a great man! He will always deal honestly with you. He recommends only what is necessary and finds ways to save you money. We have taken all our cars here for seven years and will continue to do so. Dennis is excellent and worth the drive.

My batteries died in my truck, so I called Midas in Roy and asked if they would install a battery for me, they said yes if you bring the batteries into our shop. I purchased the batteries at O Reilley (they wouldn t installed because due to chip on top ofbatteries ) went to Midas walked in and they refused to install. Said they don t install customer bought product. I explained the situation and the response was well it wasn t me you talked to and they sent me on my way. Unfortunately my truck was dead when I went outside and I had to call AAA to get a jump so I could find another location to have the batteries installed.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Got my mufflers replaced here.. they didn t give me a quote or show me options before installing them. I asked for quiet sound and the new ones are half the size of what I had (louder). The cost of adding pipe to compensate for the size difference was equivalent to a muffler. Also, they hang lower than my rear diff.. an easy target for rocks driving off-road.In short, they did exactly what I didn t want and paid a lot for it.Service: Exhaust

Was a bit hesitant about bringing my car in for brake pads and rotors replaced, they were very honest on what was needed and only the back needed replaced. With military discount and coupons, I paid a very decent price thank you too the older gentleman that took care of me and the car.

Great experience during an oil change and inspection. Dennis was easy to work with, friendly, and great customer service Only downside is the website had a promo going on 1/1/22 - 2/28/22 for a $49.99 full synthetic oil change, but it could not be honored (Promo Code: OC3369USWEB). Dennis said the price of oil has gone up, so he gave me the oil change at a $20 discount instead of the advertised $40 discount (original price is $89.99).

I received great customer service. Dennis the manager was very nice and kind. The reason i give a one star is because they quoted me a $607 muffler repair. I went to master muffler down the road where they fixed it for $150 out the door and runs and sounds great. So happy i went to get a second bid because i would have been majorly ripped off.

I don't rate places. But this is the best car shop in the area. They can fix anything and give you good pricing. Dennis is awesome. They will also show you the issues so you know it's real.I had issues with my car I didn't even know about. Half my front axle was cracked and could have been a serious issue down the road. I was just doing an oil change and they informed me about it and showed me. Greatest service around!

Over the years I've had good and bad experiences with Midas muffler. Since Dennis took over as manager in Roy it is always been good. Well as good as it can be getting your car repaired. I trust him to get the job done at the best price.

If you re looking for an honest & reliable brake shop out there, look no further........I came in for a free brake inspection which they offer and Dennis manage to show me what needs to be repaired and gave me a quote on how much it would cost, him and the crew definitely did a job well done in all aspects.Dennis has over 30 years of experience and understands tremendously what matters most to his customers and will do everything he can to make sure the job is done right. They also offer warranties on most services which can be used nationwide rather than local, I will come here for my next brake job if I m anywhere in northern Utah or southern Idaho.

Right from the start Dennis was upfront and honest with his answers to my many questions on what may be the culprit with the check engine light.He was very helpful as he walked me through some parts and prices I may need. Honesty is key in life and not many "mechanics" care about your financial situation or will give you the 1 on 1 time like Dennis did for me.Im sure to come back and see Dennis at the Roy Midas location for my emissions and any repairs I cannot complete myself.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I've tried for a month to get an oil change from them. My schedule isn't very flexible so I've tried making appointments. First time I tried was online, and they never contacted me back to confirm my appointment. Second time I decided to called them. they didn't ask for any of my information, they just told me to show up at 10:00 and they'd get it done. Up at 10:00 and they told me they have five people ahead of me.

Not willing to help if you need a repair only willing to sell you a tire and that's if they have it. Went to used tire king not only did they fix my tire they saved me money and great customer service. Hey Midas I didn't need a new tire thanks for the bad info and customer service.

Dennis and his team always do fantastic work! I highly recommend this place to anyone I know. Dennis always takes really good care of me and seems to genuinely care about me and my car care needs. Highly recommend!!!
