This place is awesome, they care about you and getting your vehicle in excellent running condition for the road. They are fast and friendly and great on keeping me informed of updates on the repairs. Manny took really good care of me! I had just gotten into a car accident and I was in a panic. He fit me in their busy schedule and reassured me that they will be able to fix things in no time. He was in constant communication with me, every step of the way. He explained things in details so I could understand what has happened and what needed to be fixed. He worked so well with my insurance company. Very very easy to work with, very honest and reliable!! Thank you so much Manny!! I know I can always rely on McNeils with all my car issues! You guys really went above and beyond!!

I had a couple of reliable mechanics, but since Covid forced them out of business, I had been looking for a new one. I'd gone past McNeil's several times, so I took my car in there. I was especially impressed with Manny and their operation as a whole. They did several repairs and the cost was reasonable.I will definitely use them again and refer their business to friends and family.

Had our vehicle towed (at night), nearly 100 miles to get an AAA approved shop near our home. Amazingly McNeils Auto (Riverton, UT), worked on it the very next day and had it repaired the same day! They were very helpful and pleasant to work with.

Very pleased with the thorough and detailed inspection of my aging Honda Element. The online report included photos of needed repairs and potential issues. My experience at McNeil s Auto Care is it s the best service I ve ever had working with an automotive shop. The manager took time to review with me the recommended maintenance. Honest, efficient, and friendly. The online scheduler and online vehicle inspection reports and assessments were very effective and efficient. They had great communication throughout the repairs and were open and honest about what my vehicle needed.

I have only had positive experiences at McNeils. I take my car and the cars of my teenagers here. They are always so great to get me in quickly with a fast turnaround.They are honest and fair on price. I am a single mom and this means so much when I am not knowledgeable in this area.A special call out to John in Riverton. He is usually who I have talked to and is always so helpful.I would definitely recommend!

Being a woman, taking a vehicle in to get fixed causes anxiety. I have no idea what s going on with cars and just hope people at the garage don t take advantage. I loved that McNeils sent photos, explanations and priority needs of each issue AND helped us pick the most important. I will be going back to McNeils in Riverton for any further issues.

I am the type that sticks to local shops. The one I usually go to wasn t available I have always driven past, wondered, so I took a chance and I am glad I did. Manny and the team took great care of my car. (Even if a pain in the butt). And got me back on the road. I am very thankful for the team and their work.

Service here is great, and so quick! They provide honest work, and they are the only place I take my vehicle for repairs. Highly recommend!Also I love their communication, they send you a link and you can see what they are working on, their recommendations, they provide pictures of everything. If you like being treated fare and taken care of this is the place for you! Manny Lopez is always awesome at getting you in and working with you. The technicians do a great job and they warranty their work and I mean they stick by what they say when it comes to the warranty!! These guys are honest and up front about what they find and do a complete inspection of your vehicle prior to service and provide pictures of everything too. Great value for the money and excellent service as always!!

Great service, reasonable prices. One of the biggest things that impressed me is the use of technology. Before getting the call about the diagnostic I received a text message to a web site that gave me a broken down list of everything that needs repairs along with notes, recommendations, and even pictures and videos. Once the repair was completed I was even able to pay for the repair online before picking up my vehicle. All that pared with friendly staff made for a great experienceService: Steering & suspension repair

The car was in the shop by appointment for 6 hours waiting for a brake inspection. If they would've told me i could've dropped the vehicle off later. I called wondering what is taking so long. still no quote. 45 minutes before closing they send the quote over. Extremely high price compared to other shop bids. How would the work even get done in time before closing and they are closed the next day? I will go elsewhere.

I was so pleasantly surprised at the service at McNeil s. It s that old school service you don t see anymore that goes the extra mile to make sure you re taken care of. Because I only had the one car that was being serviced, they ordered a Lyft for me to and from my house so I could still work from home. Incredibly friendly staff (Manny and John are my favorite) with fair pricing. Will never go anywhere else! Thanks for taking such good care of us!Service: Brake service & repair

Working with Manny was a true joy, I cant believe I just wrote that concerning car repairs. He is very patient and willing to listen, and then provide an honest workable path forward. Amazing Service by these gentlemen. My car had an issue with the front dust cover that protects under the bumper. It came off on bangerter after hitting a bird. I limped into McNeil's and they were so wonderful. They immediately got it in a bay (even though I'm sure they had tons of appointments), unscrewed the piece for me, put it in my car so I could drive to the dealership, AND - they did it at no charge. They definitely have a new customer. Any business that would go out of there way to help gets 5 stars in my book. THANK YOU!!

I came in for a battery change as my car had to be jumped twice in the past week. They tried to get me to approve a $175 inspection of regular car issues, tires etc, after they already did it. I told them to just change the battery. They then insisted in doing another inspection regarding the battery, for a significant amount of money. I told them to just change the battery. They did. Sketchy place. My daughter had her car towed in-NOT mine-they got that wrong in the review below too.Service: Auto battery replacement

I hate shady mechanics. I prefer to do my own work because of this. I replaced my own clutch but it wouldn t start. I had my vehicle towed to McNeil s hoping to find an honest and skilled local mechanic. I have already ruled out Tunex and Fix Auto.McNeil s showed professionalism in communication and expertise. They found a slightly bent shaft inside the transmission that I couldn t. It was cheap to fix because of this. They were honest and accurate and quick than promised.Service: Transmission

I was taking longer on towing due to traffic. I was gonna be late so I Called McNeil's ahead I explained I had to pick up a vehicle from them, but wasnt going to make it before they closed. The guy was very helpful found where the car was, and moved it from behind the gate so I was still able to get the tow. Very dependable people and care about there company.
