Thank you! I pulled up minutes before closing time with a flat tire I had just got on redwood road. Looked to be a bolt but the air from my tire went out quick! These guys pulled through turned the compressor back on for me and helped me get air back in my tire and home. Thank you to the tech that helped me ! Made a day go from being a really bad day to a better day thanks for helping me out on short notice and getting me home!

I was looking for a shop that could get me the tires I wanted and in a short time frame. I stopped in on a Monday night, talked with Aaron and agreed on some tires (I did some tire research prior to my visit). He quoted me a price and I produced a paper that I had printed from their online site with the same tires at a lower cost. I got them for the price the website quoted me. He had the tires shipped and at the store the next morning by 8:30am. They were not terribly busy and got me right in to have my tires mounted and an alignment check. Very happy with the service and price. Will definitely go there again.

On Friday, 01/05/24, Matson in Riverton called about the tie rod on my wife'van needing to be replaced. They estimated that they would have it completed on Monday, 01/08/24. Unexpectedly, they let me know that on Saturday late morning, 01/06, it was complete. I was grateful for the early completion. They over-delivered and under-promised. That is always a pleasant surprise.

It was a great experience. It s hard to find a good service shop that you can trust. I called on a Saturday morning knowing they were probably going to be busy. They were super friendly and were willing to fit me into the schedule. I had an oil leak and it turns out the leak was coming from my oil filter. The previous shop I had taken it to did not tighten my filter all the way. The service at Matson was great, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I was planning on taking both my vehicles there in the future even though they are a little out of the way for me, just because of how great their service was. I usually don t do reviews of companies but today I was getting my mail and got a handwritten letter in the mail. This company has gone above and beyond and will continue to receive my business. I ordered winter tires from Tire Rack for my car and opted to ship them to a Tire Rack certified shop hoping there would be a higher quality of service than your average Discount Tire, Big O, etc since my car is quite rare. As soon as I walked in and mentioned I had shipped tires to them, they instantly knew which tires and under whose name. I also needed to juggle wheel and tire setups when installing my winter tires, managing two sets of wheels and three sets of tires in total, and they nailed it perfectly without issue. Do recommend!

This place overcharges on parts. Confirmed with dealership whom they bought parts from point s added $75-$100 to the price of the parts. Unfortunately had to use point S as was going out of town next day and need blower motor repaired. However would not recommend and advise to take it to an honest shop who doesn t add on prices to partsEDIT - After posting this review had a call from Mike he advised me that its there cost of business to add on prices to the parts they have to buy from dealership. I will take my car to pretty much ANY OTHER SHOP over Matson. Most shops do not add a $75-100 "surcharge" to the coast of the part.AVOID THIS DISHONEST SHOP!!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Late in the year to get boat winterized. Matson Point S got me in and out same day with care. I will be going back definitely this spring and gettting back out on the lake!

I went to visit my family in Utah and my check engine light came on. We went to Matson's Point S and I got there early enough they got us right in. They had my car fixed and ready to go in a few hours as I had to go back to Idaho the next day. They even checked up on me to make sure their work was satisfactory and I made it home safe. Very proud of this company. I was very impressed!

The folks at Matson Auto have been wonderful to work with. They do a great job of explaining any issues that they discover, the work and choices that the vehicle owner has.We have taken two of our vehicles in (Hyundai and Mini) and they took great care of us. I was pleasantly surprised by their ability to work on the Mini. They were good to give the extent of work that was estimated, the billing was spot on (no surprise billing), time that they would need the vehicle (surprisingly quick) and acknowledging when work that should be completed by Mini dealer (in this case recall work).We had an issue with my Mini (related to recall) that persisted after original work and Matson Auto had me come in, completed a thorough review of their own work (no charge) and took the time to contact and be liaison to the Mini dealer regarding work.I would and will go back. I am proud to have them in my Riverton community and will continue to trust them with my vehicles.

Amazing service always. I just happened upon Matson Tire & Auto, as they are near our house in Riverton. I went it one day about 5 minutes before closing and Kim and team were so kind to help me with a flat even though they were getting ready to head out. On another occasion, I stopped by with tire air pressure issues and again they just quickly took care of me. Most recently my husband purchased 4 new tires and I had a service done. The consistency, kindness, and knowledge they provide every time is unmatched. This is absolutely our new go-to. Thank you!

I recently brought my boat in for a repair (replace the shaft seal) followed by a surprise radiator repair on my car. Mike and the team at Matson auto were very flexible with scheduling the boat repair. They more than met all of their timelines and quotes that they had given me and helped provide great advice on my boat and the repairs made.Despite my inability to be reached during the day due to a busy schedule they went above and beyond to communicate via other means to give me critical information quickly.With my surprise radiator repair they worked with me to figure out the best solution for my wallet as well as for my car s situation . They were willing to talk to me and teach me about various options and then correctly set expectations.I would bring my boat and my cars back to his shop in a heart beat. Having grown tired of the usual places trying to scam me, I thought I'd try something new. The team at Matson Auto treated me with respect and provided excellent service. They even threw in a free tire rotation! Their building is neat and tidy, and the bathroom was in tip-top shape. Not only was my wait comfortable, but I was able to have great conversation with staff members who treated me with genuine kindness. It was a great experience, and I look forward to my next scheduled maintenance opportunity. Thanks Matson Auto! Keep up the great work!

Whenever our cars need work, from tires to regular maintenance to real problems I only bring it in to Matson. I trust them to tell me exactly what is wrong and what I have to fix, or what I can wait on. I know I'm getting an honest diagnosis and I know they are looking out for my best interest. We have had great service from them for at least 10 years now - even to the extent that I think it cost them money once to stand by a warranty. I really appreciate having an honest mechanic! I just moved here from southern Utah, and needed a new mechanic. I read some reviews for Matson and then took a chance. I needed some significant repair work and they found all the problems, then explained those repairs that were critical versus those that could wait. I asked them to do quite a bit and was surprised by how fast they were. My vehicle is running better than it has in years. Very impressed with their work and their speed!

I was extremely pleased with the service.� The old gentleman that helped me at the counter gave me HONEST advice with brakes, tires etc.� I have been to many big name and�even smaller repair shops that say that things need to be done immediately so it is a breath of fresh air to have an honest mechanic that lets me know in reality what should be replaced. I will definitely�be back for all of the services on my car.� And I have already recommended Matson Auto to a friend.� Thanks for being the good guys!

been to tis location 2x now. Did a great job repairing my daughter's flat tire. I then went back for an oil change for my car. Full synthetic was just a bit pricier than I was expecting... Would have been 5 stars is just a bit more economical...

Super easy n quick to schdule an appointment. They have a really good job with my car 4 wheel alignment and charged me only for the amount of adjustment my cars needs based on before and after readings. Instead of a higher fixed price like other places.

The other day I went over a 6 cement barrier. I went in to matsons that I have been to for the past 3-5 years just to have them look under my car to see if I had any leaks. To my surprise they didn t want nothing to do with me or my car and said they wouldn t look at it until Tuesday. By then I don t know if it would be running and it is my only transportation. You lost a good customer cause I found a new place that cares about their loyal customers.

I am thoroughly impressed with Matson Auto and their family. I took my car in for a tune up and oil change. After dropping one car off, I decided to take my other and get the tags done and a tire sensor fixed. They were amazing to work with and completely honest. After taking my engine apart and pulling the plugs they found that everything checked out and the $300 tune up and filters were not needed at the time. Honesty does not get better than that. Definitely a customer for life now.

I have been so impressed with the service that when one of married daughters needed some services on their slightly used new car I had her come out here and get the repairs that were needed done and also because the place they had gotten the car from did not disclose a prior problem Matson Auto and Tire also searched for 2 replacement tires that had been worn on the inside prior to this problem being found and made sure her and their little family would be able to drive safely. Thank you, my family s peace and safety mean a lot to me. There has been no more problems with their vehicle since!

I went into Matson with a flat tire on my lunch break. This was my first visit with them and I am impressed, not only were they fast but they didn t even charge me for it. I remind you this was my first time there so the tires were bought at a different place and they still got me right in and at no charge. I had a flat tire before this and took it to the place I purchased the tire from which states free flat repairs but they still charged me labor fees of $15. Martin was faster, more friendly and obviously better priced. I am definitely going to try them for my other car needs such as oil changes, etc. just because of how quick and friendly they treated me.

My wife and I recently moved to the area and used a different Point S tire at our old home. I am glad to say that Matson Point S provides the same high level of service I have come to expect from Point S. Their shop is clean and employees are welcoming. You get a sense that they really want to do what's best for you rather than just the bottom line. They will continue to be our regular service and tire shop. We are very pleased to have found them.

So far I'm a big fan. I've had headlights fixed, check engine lights, oil changes, and electrical issues fixed by these guys. They do boats and On the spot registration so I'm a huge fan! Probably the thing that makes me the most comfortable is their willingness to explain the issue to you. Id recommend them to my mom or sister for an honest mechanic that does a great job. Check them out!

I was in Sandy, UT when I was warned on my information panel in my new car that the tire pressure was really low. I had to find a shop who could get me in and fast to get it fixed so I could head home as I had my little granddaughter and daughter with me. They were very kind and helpful and got me in fast. They fixed the tire where there was a large nail and got us on our way. I went up expecting to pay a high price for such quick service when I was corrected and told there wasn't a charge. I hope to return to them when I need to get tires! Thank you so much for your help!

Wanted to charge us over $300 for diagnostic. Said dealerships are now charging to use software. What cp are you using? Autel is $500 on ebay and no subscription.

I purchased 4 new tires for a Jeep Commander in 2020 along with the roadside hazard which allows for free tire replacement. This April, one tire needed to be replaced. They indicated that they had no proof that I purchased the tires or the warranty. They agreed that they were in fact their tires; however, they could find no records. They insisted that I provide proof of purchase from 2020. I told them I don't keep 2 year old receipts, and what was the purpose of their computer system if they can't keep a customer data base. They told me that even Walmart requires receipts. I didn't realize Matson's wanted to compare itself to Walmart. However, even Walmart can find past purchases if you provide the card that was used. They showed no records for a tire rotation even though my husband had just had that service completed. They basically called me a liar and treated me as if I was trying to steal a free tire from them. Their belief that it was the customer's fault was ridiculous. My husband then went down and suddenly they found the information in the system because it was listed to our other vehicle that they had worked on for emissions and an oil change. My son took the Commander back to get the new tire and the clerk told him to make sure that he kept his receipt this time. They still did not acknowledge that they were at fault. I will never do business with this place again. I will return to a chain tire store that keeps better records and treats me as if my business matters. This is a poor excuse of a business.

We have been using Matson s for most of our major car maintenance and repairs for the last 6 years. We have had two bad experiences with them but each time they worked with us to make the situation right in the end. People make mistakes no matter who you use and we understand that so for them to make it right was a big positive. Overall their prices have been fair and workmanship has been satisfactory. We will continue to use them.
