Do not come here. They charged me for more than I needed fixed and then come to find, they didn t even screw in the ball joint and axel rod all the way on my car. Had to get my car towed and fixed somewhere else again. The wheel had basically popped off while I was driving. Very dangerous and super inconvenient.

In our experience, these guys are thorough and do quality work. When they call with a price estimate, they provide a detailed breakdown including a price comparison between factory and after-market parts. Always polite and professional, I've noticed they treat their clients less like a customer and more like a friend.

I took my vehicle in the shop for an oil change. While I was talking to Kiera over the phone she treated me like a friend not just a random person. I REALLY RECOMMEND THIS REPARE SHOP! Everybody understood me and my needs. It was a comfortable experience for me.

I can here to see why my check engine light was on and they suggested that I should fix my spark plugs they are not like a dealership and make you do things that are not even necessary for your vehicle 10/10

Explained to technician in full detail the issues I was having with my sons car. Explained what I had done and that I had isolated the issue of the battery dying specifically to a parasitic draw. Also explained I had 2 mobile mechanics confirm the situation. I wanted them to dive deeper into the problem and diagnose where the draw was coming from and what the main issue was and suggest a repair. They charged me $102 and said it would cost me no more than an additional $280 to fully diagnose the situation. They said they worked on it for 45min and were able to confirm that there was a parasitic draw. And that is all that they did. They confirmed what I had told them was the issue and what 2 other mechanics had already said. They did not dive in any deeper than that. The mobile mechanic I used was able to confirm and diagnose that there was parasitic draw within 10 to 15 minutes of work. He only charged me $30. The whole reason I brought the car to them was because I thought that they would try some other more advanced diagnostic measures or isolate the draw. As other reviews have stated I m sure they are great at handling simple repairs/ diagnostics but if you need true professional advanced mechanic repairs I would not recommend this place. Save your money. I will say they were friendly and respectful but I am not reviewing them on that I am solely reviewing them on the work done and the services and information I received for my money.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I work out at a gym near Diagnostic in Riverton. decided to give them a try. I ve now had four vehicles repairs there because I am amazed how good, honest and reasonable they are. And, they even called the LH Miller Ford to call them out on a repair of a catalytic converter on my truck that they did for me with aftermarket parts, instead of Ford parts and it went bad within 10 months. Saved me over 1000 dollars. Could not be happier with these guys. This place is amazing (not to mention the Office Manager has the same name as me!) They were prompt to check me in, thoroughly putting my complaint down for the technician. When it was Diagnosed, they called me and went through every issue that was found.. with NO PRESSURE to do any work! I have an older vehicle so I had A LOT of issues.. they prioritized the issues and did not try to sale me work that was not completely necessary at that moment. The staff was so accommodating and the atmosphere is down right comfortable! I will be back for all of my future repairs and maintenance work! Definitely unfortunate that people have had a poor experience there their parking lot is always full so you know they are doing something right!Services: General repairs & maintenance, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning

I have always had a positive experience at Diagnostic. For several years I have brought my vehicles and have always been treated fair. I feel like they watch out for me and take good care of my vehicles without over selling me on services not needed. They always get right on the job they identify the problem and speak to you before they do the work letting you know what it's going to take and how long very helpful . They're very honest company and upfront. I would refer them to anyone.

Probably one of the worst mechanical experiences to date:They were quick to get in the vehicle - which was great.I was told over the phone that the $85 diagnostic fee would be applied toward repair (it wasn t)End result was it needed brake fluid- and a serpentine belt. We asked for a headlight bulb to get replaced.Total bill was $300We agreed to the work due to needing daughter back on road to college.Went and paid for car- got keys- came back with second driver (shop was closed and it was Friday)Car didn t start. Wouldn t turn over. We googled the errors- called number on storefront window multiple times trying to reach ANYONE that could come get car to start (it was a Friday at 6pm)Never got response so we pulled up some YouTube videos and tried several options (even jumping battery).Monday morning (they open at 8) at 9am I still had not heard from shop.(Had sent daughter with my car)Friend took me to shop where I asked them to please get the car up and running.They claimed it worked.It didn t.I ran to work.At 1130 I got a call that it needed a new battery and it would be $200The battery was 2 years old. I was told to come get it and exchange it from where we had purchased it.I showed up at 1215 and the tech handed me the keys and I said I needed to get the battery out of it- he replied everyone s out to lunch I asked for a tool- he replied I think the cars running so you don t need to take the battery out-Got in car- it started right up.Yet the original diagnosis was it needed a new battery. Until I told them the battery was newer.The front desk receptionist was abrupt. The tech staff were abrupt and the whole experience left me feeling like they were merely trying to get as much of a financial gain as possible. $119 to top of brake fluid? Claiming it needed a $200 new battery when they hadn t even tried to jump the car? A hundred bucks to change a light bulb?Save your money and go somewhere else- somewhere more reputable/trustworthy. Somewhere where topping off brake fluid is simply just done out of courtesy and when you re told your car is done and you can t pick it up until it s closed make sure there is an emergency call number in case the car doesn t starts- or better yet- take it to a place that gives you back the car better then when you brought it in.

These guys are amazing. I had an overheating problem with my Honda that a couple other auto shops tried to BS me about what it was. Having a little bit of mechanical knowledge I knew they were trying to scam me. Diagnostic automotive found the problem immediately. They did all the expensive maintenance while the motor was apart so it was all very cheap. They even finished under the quoted price they gave me. I recommend them 100%. They have a customer for life!!

I love these guys! Every time I take a car there they call me and tell me it was not the problem I had originally thought, and they save me $$$$ Thought I needed a transmission once, so did they, as my truck wouldn't go in any other gear but low forward. They ordered a rebuilt transmission and were ready to go, and the mechanic found a small part that was broken. Dodge had had a problem with that plastic part, and now made it from metal. They replaced it, sent the transmission back, saved me a couple thousand dollars. Customer for life!

Took in a used car I had purchased that needed some front end work. The staff was very kind and from a reccomendation for this company, I decided to leave the car with them. After checking it out and giving me a call, they laid out all the issues with the vehicle and left it up to me to decide what I wanted fixed. They even mentioned other potential problems and solutions in-order to make me as informed as possible, which I very much appreciated. At other places, I had only been told bits and pieces of information specific to the issue I had mentioned.I've read other reviews complaining about the "extra work" performed, but Diagnostic was very upfront with me on if I wanted that extra work done. They didnt do a single thing more than what I had told them I was fine with. I imagine this comes from their passion as mechanics to make vehicles run as best that they can. To me, the savings in labor vs multiple repairs at various times, make up for it.Pricing wise they aren't the cheapest but they also aren't the most expensive. I would say their pricing matches their company very well and the quality of their service and staff more than equal it.They have been a small business staple in Riverton for over 25 years, and now I know I wont go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience. Had a short in the wire harness to an evap control valve in the back of my 2001 Nissan Frontier. Dealer diagnosed the issue, and their suggestion was buy an new wire harness and $1000 later it would be fixed. Diagnostic Automotive found the wires in question and repaired them, and the cost was 25% less than the dealer, and much less than i expected. Great pricing, great service, and quick work. I'll be using them for anything I don't do myself.

We have been using Diagnostic Automotive for years now, and for all of our vehicles. I have lived in various places over the years, and been to many different shops, but they are easily the best one I have ever been to. They are friendly, honest, very knowledgable, and I have never walked away less than 100% satisfied. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed!

These guys seriously helped me out with a bad day. Im going to the gym vasa and I leave my car noticing I locked my keys in the car. The police couldn't help and my insurance was going to charge and arm and a leg. I walk in and the front desk lady was super nice and I told them my situation and they said they could help. I appreciate you guys so much for your help and I recommend this place for anyone out there that truly need help. I'll be bring my car in when there is any trouble since I am local.

Used to use them exclusively. I have found they are good and reliable with simple stuff, but when it gets complicated it's probably better to go to a larger shop. I brought my vehicle in and told them what I had done to trouble shoot. They did the same troubleshooting I did and then called to pick up the vehicle that they had given up on it. After paying their "Diagnostic" fee I towed the car to another shop down the road and they were able to find the issue and get it running.If it's something simple, use without worry, they are honest and will do a good job. If it's not clear what is wrong save yourself the hassle and take it to a different shop that will do full diagnostic.**Sounds like they are under new management which is consistent with when I started having issues using them.

Our family loves this place. A family friend recommended them when we were looking for a fair mechanic. We have taken in all vehicles (Nissan, Subaru, VW, and Chevrolet) with no issues. We did have problems with brakes that they replaced on the VW, but they honored the warranty on the parts. We bring the cars in for everything; repairs, oil changes, and safety and emissions. I love that I am treated with respect and have never felt like I was being ripped off or that they were just trying to up sell every service. This place truly has the vehicle and Customer's best interest at heart, which seems so hard to find in this industry. Make sure to make an appointment for your service. They are very good about getting us in and back out on the road.

These guys will do anything to not take anymore business. First off they will put you on hold for 15 min no problem. Everyone that works here talks in a very jaded tone. They don't want or need your business

I got 3 different quotes from auto repair shops to do some work on a Mustang. Diagnostic Automotive's estimate of $300 was half the price of the others, I couldn't believe it. Total out the door was $307.70, and they did a wonderful job. They have my business for life! You can trust these guys! Thanks Chase,

I just had my car serviced yesterday. It was the best car maintenance visit I've had. Dave and chase were awesome to work with. After the parts were taken out for my car Dave showed me what exactly was wrong. If I could tell after seeing it, anyone would be able to see. I really trusted their work.

Very helpful and informative. Cost a few bucks to get a computer diagnostic done, but in the end they cured a 5 month long problem I had with my vehicle. Will definitely use then again if I get a check engine light that does not go away
