We bought a car from Rod a year and a half ago and trusted that he was honest with his work. Within a few days of driving the car, we found out that he had cleared a code to make it seem like nothing was wrong and to this day no one can figure out what is wrong with it. When we tried to contact him about it and he said he would pay to fix it but never did. It was impossible to get a hold of him. He also did a poor job fixing the car door that he replaced because there's cracks in it now and when it rains it leaks into the car. The "brand new" tires that were on the car didn't even last us a year. Get this, he also put an ATV battery in our car instead of a car battery. If you want a car that gives you grief, then you've found the right place.

Had a great experience with Select Auto Imports. The transaction was quick and simple. They mostly work with branded/rebuilt titles, which they disclose upfront so you know exactly what you are getting. I, personally, don't mind buying a vehicle with a branded title, as many still function perfectly. In this case, I bought a 2016 Mazda 3i Sport with only 63k miles for a very good price! Rod explained to me that the vehicle had been hit from behind and that none of the air bags deployed. He even showed me pictures of the crashed car. If you are looking for a newer car or a car with few miles for a low price, your best bet may be buying a car with a branded title.

These guys are great! We saw an ad for a car that we wanted to look at there so we just decided stopped by without calling. It was on a Saturday and it was past closing, but there was a note on the door with a number to text, so I did. The owner, who has already left for the day, was more than happy to come back to show us the car, not even knowing if we would buy it or not. We said we would be happy to wait for him, but without us knowing he called his brother, who was closer, to come get us started so we didn t have to wait while he drive 30 min back to the dealership. After driving the car we decided that we really liked it, but being that it had a salvage title we were a little nervous about the perchance. He showed us the before pictures, that really weren t that bad, and also showed us exactly what he had done to fix it. These guys make damn sure every car they sale is in good running condition and that you will not have any issues with it! He stayed late to get all the paperwork done so that we didn t have to come back, as we live over an hour away. I would recommend anyone looking for a good reliable car visit these guys! They will take care of you at either of their two locations in Provo and American Fork. Thank you guys for your willingness to go out of your way to help us out! We love our new Acura TL!

Rod was amazing to work with. He was patient and held the car for us as we were making our decision and stayed late to do our paperwork. He also got an oil change done on the car the day we purchased it. All around an excellent experience.

My husband and I were looking online for a Dodge Caravan and found one from Select Auto Imports for a great deal. We checked a couple other places but what they had to offer was by far the best. Their car had the lowest mileage, lowest price, and had the nicer features that we were looking for like automatic doors and role down middle windows. My first thought was that this was too good to be true. But as we talked with Rod he explained that they are very selective with the cars they purchase. Most of their cars are rebuilds (salvage title)so they take damaged cars and fix them up. Rod informed me that they never buy a car that has been in an accident severe enough for the airbags to deploy. That way you know for a fact that the airbags are intact and that the damage done to the car does not effect the frame.When we decided to purchase the car from them we needed sometime to get a loan and also sell our current car. Rod offered to hold the Dodge for 3 days for us with a returnable deposit of $300. We took that offer and that was just the amount of time we needed to get our ducks in a row. We came back on the 3rd day, completed our purchase, and our $300 deposit was returned to us. We love our new van and were very pleased with our buying experience!Overall they were extremely helpful and answered any questions that we had. Rod was very upfront and honest with us which put my mind at ease and was much appreciated. I have shopped at big car dealerships and have had a hard time feeling like they are pushing me to make a purchase. But with Select Auto Imports, they are a smaller business that is honest and does what they can to make your shopping and purchasing experience smooth and easy.The only thing that may be a downside is that it can be difficult getting a loan for a rebuild or salvage title vehicle. But it is not impossible.

Bought a second car here. This one was for myself. They had a great deal which I couldn't pass up.Bought the first car for my daughter. Rod was easy to work with. Jamal was also very accommodating.Having said that a couple weeks later, I now know why they were great deals. It looks like my car was in a fender bender that wasn't reported.Also, my daughter's air con still isn't working (even after we brought it back), her brakes started squeaking and now the cruise control is going out.Now I realize that I should have caught my car issue before, but the things are my daughter is going through is really frustrating.You get what you pay for.

Horrible experience that made me decide to not buy a car from here.I was dead set on buying a Ford Focus hatchback and saw that they had one for about $1.5k lower than other places I ve seen. I was excited. I went in to test drive and asked to see an AutoCheck or Carfax but they wouldn t show me a copy of it, they would only show me a screenshot of it. I asked to know history on the cars one collision and they refused to give me info on it.I was still very interested in the Focus even though they weren t cooperating and showed up literally the next day because I was told that the owner would be there to show me the AutoCheck, he wasn t. I was leaving Utah for the summer that weekend so I was going to buy it on day 2. I walked in and asked if the owner guy was there with the AutoCheck and with that one question the guy at the front desk began to lose his temper and raise his voice as if he was talking down to me, I ve never turned 180 degrees as fast as that moment. I came in with the intention to buy a good priced Ford Focus and left without making a purchase.Owner than called me about 20 minutes later (as I was writing the review which made me bump this up to a 2-star instead of keeping it at 1-star) probably after he heard about what happened, he gave me information on the collision and told me that he s in California looking for new cars to add to the dealership. Weird, I was told he d be there in person today, not in California. Good guy, answered my questions over the phone but I was already committed to not buying the car anymore. Too little too late. The owner is a good man, the sales guy who handles customers is horrible.UPDATE AFTER OWNER REVIEW:Not true how you described the story, you weren't there so you wouldn't know. Good to see you're unapologetic over the internet as well as over the phone. Good luck in your endeavors, you're going to need it.

This is the dealership that horror stories are made of. I recently bought a vehicle from this company, only to have the engine blow the day of my purchase. When I confronted the owner he said that "I should have noticed this on my test drive." And wouldn't take responsibility for the issue. I am now replacing the entire engine of this vehicle and they have refused to assist in any way. If you purchase a vehicle from this company you will regret it. They are not an honest or professional company.
