Sergio is the man. He is the best mechanic I have been to, he doesn't try and upsell you, he doesn't overwhelm you with technical jargon, he just tells you how it is and tells you what needs to be done. Man, these guys are good! Sergio and the gang know your vehicle, and know what it takes to keep it running. Prices are fair and they get the job done quickly. He will even take the time to teach you how to do it yourself, if it's not too major to fix to save you a little money. If you're looking for a local mechanic to be able to call your own, stop looking! This is the place!

Took our 30 yr old vehicle here, after sitting for 5 yrs, after a friend's referral. Sergio was both honest and real about what needed to be done. He got us in fast, didn't recommend unnecessary services, and even went the extra mile on a few things. I was pleasantly surprised by the bill. I feel so lucky to have found this place! Incredible value and excellent service. Couldn't believe how quick the job was done, and the price was remarkably fair. Even did some extra work so I can open my window more easily! A very good choice for your automotive needs.

Starter went out on my wife s car. I called Sergio and he graciously came in on a Saturday when we wasn t in the shop.He was real, honest, and only charged me for what he thought was necessary. He even defogged and cleaned the headlights at no charge. I ll definitely be going back.

Sergio is awesome! He s a great mechanic and an even better person. After completing the repairs I asked for, he noticed my AC wasn t working properly and replaced my cabin air filter. He definitely went above and beyond.Sergio quoted me less than half of what the competition quoted me. He s honest and fair! I highly recommend GDL.

Despite me asking specifically for just a quote, they went ahead and fixed the turn signals on my car anyway. Granted, Sergio did a great job and it was a relatively inexpensive repair. Sergio is super nice and friendly. I would definitely go back, but I'll try to be more clear next time.

Imagine me, this afternoon distraught, weary. Something horrible had happened to my car (but the feminism evaporates from my body every time it s time to learn about vehicle maintenance) so I found myself stranded, clueless, and afraid.After 2 distressing hours of jumper cables and panic, I managed to find myself at the nearest mechanic shop. A kindly man named Sergio with beautiful eyes and a giant, warm smile dropped everything he was doing to come out and help me figure out what I needed. He was honest, direct, and kind. In a matter of moments, he explained my situation, gave me directions, and sent me on my way all without charging me a dime, even though he could tell I was desperate and certainly could have. Bless Sergio for his kindness and honesty; and bless GDL Auto Electric and Mechanic.

Had a phenomenal experience. Sergio senior had assisted me when my vehicles Engine was flooded. I was told by others that the vehicle was gone and was only scrap at that point. He said to leave it with him for a day to see what he can do. The next morning I received a text message from him stating and I quote Hey I was just wondering what time would you like to come pick up your vehicle today, it s all set . I sat there in disbelief that my vehicle was somehow saved when I had been told by dozens of people that there was no way to save it. I went to pick it up and he handed the keys over to me. I then asked whilst chuckling Were you really able to fix it or are you messing with me? . I ll never forget the look he gave me while smirking, it was the look that said go ahead and try it out. I walked over to my vehicle expecting it not to work. The second I turned the key it turned on! I told him it sounds better than it did before! . It was inexpensive how he fixed it and in a way I never thought imaginable or had even heard of! True genius when it comes to any type of repair. ****Highly recommend coming here if you don t like to be scammed or be overpriced. If you ve ever gone to a shop and felt belittled for not having much knowledge or any I recommend coming here because they treat you like people and will answer any questions you may have.****

Best experience I have ever had with a mechanic!!! Went to 3 other highly rated mechanics in Utah county and they were unhelpful. This is the second time that I've received help from GDL Auto. They were able to replace the air condenser in my car for half of the price that the dealership was offering. I can definitely give a 10/10 reccomendation for GDL Auto.

This is the first truly enjoyable experience I've had at an auto shop. I had taken my car to 3 shops previously, and none had a clue what was going on and even told me everything seemed find despite the sound it was making. Sergio knew what was wrong before I even explained the problem, just by listening to the sound as I drove in. He went the extra mile to have my car ready in a matter of hours, despite the fact that it should have taken a few days to get parts in, and even offered me a ride so I didn't have to walk home in the heat. I would enthusiastically recommend this shop to anyone.

Definitely recommend this place! Sergio was so kind and genuine, and really quick with knowing exactly what to do to fix my car's charger port. Very affordable as well. I definitely recommend going here!

I brought my car in and they immediately showed me in to discuss my problem. They were extremely friendly and likable and made clear efforts to provide top notch customer service. Within a couple hours they had called me back with the solution telling me that it had been fixed and was ready for pick up! EXTREMELY QUICK SERVICE and VERY FAIR PRICES. I will certainly be returning here for any future car troubles I may end up running into!

Called Sergio up and asked if he had time. He said he wasn't sure he'd be able to finish today, but he fixed the car within hours, even testing it on the road to make sure everything was really fixed. Not only was his service incredible, his prices were fantastic. Will be going here for the foreseeable future!

I don't take my cars anywhere else. Every mechanical or electrical issue, major maintenance, and even emissions, I take here. Never charges me more than needed. Honest about what is and what isn't necessary. He's had plenty of opportunities to recommend unnecessary fixes, but never has.

Last day of my registration month, so I was worried that there would be a line but there was no wait, it was cheaper than Jiffy Lube and their coupon, and I was in and out faster than any emissions test anywhere else. Excellent service.
