Clegg was extremely helpful! I had my oil changed at another place, and it started leaking oil a month or so later. They were able to find and fix the problem extremely quickly, and they saved me a ton of money. I'll definitely be bringing my car here for all my mechanic needs moving forward.

This is a great place with many talented people to handle all you auto needs. I've recently taken my 04 Jeep Wrangler there to replace the rear main seal and they were able to finish the job quickly and efficiently. They also pointed out a few other minor issues with the Jeep I was unaware of and fixed those for me as well. Great people who are very professional and run a great shop. Definitely check them out when the need arises.

The people up front were very nice. However, the people that worked there screwed my car.My car was fine until I took it here and now its making smells its never made before and leaking fluids its never leaked before.They also put my tires on way too tight, which wasn't cool.I went in to see what they would charge for rotor replacements, found out it was too expensive, and when I declined the services I found the screw that's on the rotor to be stripped.Like I said, they were very kind, but just another shady repair place..

They said my oil change would be $67 over the phone, they ended up charging me $83. When the car was ready they parked the car right in front and I still had to wait 15-20 minutes to take it because the guy that was helping me was trying to sell a car and was asking someone else to take pictures of it.He took a quick look at the tires after, told me I needed two new tires and it would almost be $500 for two tires ( my car is a honda civic)1-Give accurate numbers over the phone.2- Be considerate about your customers time.

I brought my car in to address a rough idle issue, and I couldn't be more impressed with the service I received. Instead of simply diagnosing the problem, they proactively fixed it while thoroughly inspecting my vehicle. The customer service exceeded my expectations they consistently reached out, providing updates throughout the entire process. Absolutely outstanding service!

My alternator gave up last week and the team at Clegg got me in quick, were very communicative, and didn t try to sell me things I didn t need. The problem was solved fast, they gave me advice on potential future things to look for, and they put the decisions over my vehicle in my hands. Devon was great and kept me in the loop as well. If I run into problems looking forward, I ll be going back.They also got my quote of $1100 down to $860 or so which was great.Services: Electrical, Vehicle safety inspection, Battery

If you have car issues in Utah, Clegg Auto is the only place that you should go. I have had numerous issues with my car in the past year and have been extremely pleased with how Clegg has handled things. They are great communicators and truly make the stressful process of car problems as painless as possible. The customer service is great and all the employees are friendly and easy to work with. Best auto shop in Utah.

I highly recommend Clegg Auto in Provo. Clegg s has a reputation of having integrity and being fair. My experience has proven that to be true. Both Brian and Jason have gone above and beyond for me. Man, what a find! We were traveling from California on our way to Wyoming and got multiple error codes. We found Clegg online and couldn t be happier with the service, the repairs and the way they prioritized us to get us back on the road! Tim was great and they are highly recommended!!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE.They'll sell you on repairs you don't need to the naive. They charged me a crazy amount to get my catalytic converter replaced and when I looked, it wasn't even new; it was old and rusty.Later, they destroyed my car right after dropping tons of money to repair it and didn't do anything about it or admit it. It completely exploded and was taken to the junk yard (and it wasn't even that old or that high mileage)

My experience so far has been..let me charge you $180 for a diagnosis when I told them what the problem was. My car had a leak in the power steering hose and I told them that when my vehicle was dropped off and that power steering pump was damage I still got charge and forced to pay for a diagnostic then they missed the hose and had to call them to tell them and once again they wanted me to pay more money because they said they didn t know what hose. Again I had to remind them I saw leak and knew what was wrong. This is ridiculously. This will be the last time my car is touch by this ship

I cannot go on an on enough about how wonderful of an experience I had here. They worked with me, kept the price reasonable and completely fixed all my issues. I have looked for a good mechanic for years, but there is no way I go anywhere else now going forward.

If it is a concern about price, Clegg is far worth it. I had a bad experience with a 1990 F-250 where someone else had just replaced the distributor cap, wires, plugs, etc. It started to stall and have problems so I brought it to Clegg. They said the problem was the distributor, the part that was just replaced . Clegg replaced it and it never had a problem again. If you don t know how to fix it yourself, you probably also don t know how much it should cost. Clegg only uses quality parts that last. Yeah you can go to a corner shop that charges less but who knows how long it will last and what cheap parts they use.Clegg is amazing! I trust them 100%. They do a great job and are very experienced, competent, and thorough. I recommend them to anyone. I have taken all of my vehicles to them and no matter the age or brand they are honest and straight forward.

They were super helpful. My car didn't end up getting fixed, but not because of their capabilities, simply because it cost more than the car was worth. Clegg Auto helped me to navigate the thorny path for a non ideal car. Would definitely go again

Went in for a needed tune up. Once car was returned, I had steam coming out the hood. Returned it no more than 20 minutes of leaving the shop. Crew took a look and said there was a hole in my radiator that needed to be repaired which had not been there before getting the vehicle fixed. Usual mechanic scam. Shame they take advantage of college students in the area. Don t need a reply from the business, I just want others to be aware of either a possible scam or mechanic incompetence to put a hole in the radiator.

Diagnosed a $2k engine oil leak and got to work on it. 90 minutes later the manager calls me to apologize and tell me none of that is wrong with my car, and I only needed an $80 hose replaced to stop the leak. He was embarrassed and apologetic, and above all very honest.

I m very late in expressing my appreciation for Clegg auto, they helped me with my 2018 Nissan Pathfinder. To say that they helped me is an understatement.They let me use their loner vehicle why cars transmission was going to be fixed. They were honest and in good communication always. They gave me several options to fix my car and had good pricing. They truly are the best in dealing with true and honest mechanics!

Where do I even begin? I took my car to Clegg Auto with a simple engine problem, hoping for a quick and efficient fix. Instead, I got an epic saga of negligence, skyrocketing costs, and utter lack of oversight.Firstly, after their initial inspection, they assured me it was a "minor issue". Yet, every other day, I received a call detailing yet another problem that "suddenly emerged". The costs kept piling up, much like the dirty rags in their workshop.Secondly, the communication was a joke. Whenever I questioned the escalating expenses, I was met with technical jargon, shrugged shoulders, and a consistent "well, that's just how it is" attitude. Their lack of transparency was alarming!And the climax? After finally shelling out an obscene amount of money, my engine's problem STILL persisted. Yes, you read that right. All that time, all that money, and zero results.In desperation, I took my car to another mechanic who diagnosed the real issue in under an hour. Turns out, [Auto Shop XYZ] completely missed the primary fault and instead had been fixing non-existent problems.If you value your time, money, and sanity, steer clear of this establishment. Their lack of expertise and oversight will drive you to the brink. Consider this a public service announcement!Service: Transmission

I've always had good experiences here. Great warranty on their services, and a great portal for communication as well as regular calls to update you on the status of your car. Recently during a service, I was low on wiper fluid and they filled it up no charge. Update:It s been about 8 months and my front brakes/rotors finally needed replacing. I, of course, went back to Clegg Auto. Just like the first I had a great experience. They got me in quickly, fixed it that day and even gave me a ride to work which was like 20 minutes away. They gave me a few things they would suggest replacing or keeping my eye on but there was ZERO pressure to do any of those extra things. Staff are friendly and create connections as well as do a good job explaining answers to any questions I have.Old post:This was my second quote. The first place I went to said I needed to replace both front and back brakes/rotors, but Clegg took the time to check things thoroughly and told me my front ones were still good and all I would need to replace were my back ones.They got me in quickly (scheduled an appointment for that week) and had it done in a matter of hours once I took it in.They also took the time to explain any and all questions I had.The other place I had originally gone to for my first quote was $30 cheaper, but that s nothing compared to going to a place that s thorough and honest about not needing my front ones done yet.Service: Auto brake replacement

They said on the phone they charge $67 for a pre purchase inspection. Time to checkout and they ring up at $97 for taxes and parts ? Seems a little dishonest. Also had an issue immediately after getting my car back. Can t prove it was their fault but they became defensive when I brought it up and immediately started pointing out what I probably did wrong.
