Just wow. Never have I ever met such honest mechanics anywhere. Mike is super knowledgeable and makes certain the issue is correctly identified, before any repair options are offered. This will be the go-to place, to get any vehicles repaired from now on!

Mike is one of the kindest, most honest, communicable guys I've worked with. I'm sure there are other mechanics out there with similar strengths, but Mike hits all of them for sure and is just so pleasant to work with. He'll give you the details of what's going on according to what he's seeing, and he won't sugar coat or claim to know anything he doesn't.100% recommend!Thank you Mike!

This place is great! My family has been going here for 3 generations. Mike is friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and trustworthy. I am grateful I don't have to worry about the quality of the work that is being done on my car. Every time I come here I'm satisfied.

I trust Mike. I ve gone to him for 3 years now. He s honest about what my little Honda needs. I ve gotten second opinions before and he s always right and offers lower prices. He explains things simply for me (I m not a car person, so I really appreciate that).

Google should allow me to give this review 10 stars. I have been coming to this shop for over 6 years now and Mike is the absolute best. It is becoming increasingly difficult and rare to find a mechanic you can completely trust and who has a passion for helping people - Mike is that and more.Mike is incredibly busy, but has always managed to make time to answer my questions and to explain what's going on with my car. I love having things explained because for me (and I think a lot of others) it is a good way to help build a trusting relationship with your mechanic. On top of world-class service, Mike is always looking for ways to help people save money.Recently, I had an issue with one of my brake calipers that I had had repaired several years ago with Mike and the warranty had run out, but because I hadn't put many miles on my car since then (working from home), Mike felt it was reasonable to honor the warranty. I didn't even ask him for this nor did I bring it up at all. He volunteered this. He really wants to help people and he is a true diamond in the rough for an industry that tends to take advantage of people (at least in my previous experience).I used to live closer to this shop and have since moved to north Utah County, but Mike will remain my mechanic, hands down. I feel he truly cares about keeping me and my family safe in our cars without bleeding our bank accounts. You will never want to go anywhere else after taking your vehicles here.

Mike was awesome. He inspected two used cars for us, and not only did he do a thorough inspection on both, he pointed out potential issues and/or things that may need maintenance. Mike was very friendly, honest , and professional.

Mike is a life saver! Mike's prices are completely reasonable especially for the diagnostics. What the dealership wanted $700 minimum for Mike did for around $300. He made sure to check everything and was extremely thorough. He even took the time when I picked up my car to show me the damaged part and talk me through exactly what happened and the repairs he did. I'm so glad I brought my car to him! Every time a vehicle has an issue, I take it to Mike at Auto Performance. He is honest and goes above and beyond what I have experienced elsewhere. He always tells me what is going on and the many options to resolve the issue. This last time I had a vehicle issue, Mike didn't have an opening for a week, so I made a few calls and found another mechanic who was able to take a look the same day. That mechanic told me the problem was a blown head gasket and quoted me $5000 to fix (decent price for a thorough job). I still took the car to Mike and he ran a few tests and let me know that it was something different and I only spent $100-200 to resolve. Our car is running well and has had no problems since.

Highly recommend to anyone. I had missed my appointment date by complete accident. They were able to get me in the same day and are extreamly accommodating. They addressed all of my concerns with my vehicle and I am very satisfied with my experience.

If you're looking for a place, where you'll be treated like a human being, no matter your gender or how well you understand your vehicle, look no further! The guys here will explain the issues well, show you what's wrong and tell you how to fix it.When I had engine problems with my van, Mike gave me 4 different options of how to proceed.Very honest and knowledge people. Highly recommend.

Workers can be difficult to talk to. Not a lot of communication while car was present at location. Decided to go somewhere else because it seemed repairs weren't going anywhere. Problem was that at random times car would not start.After 4 days at the shop, worker had started vehicle and said it started fine and drove it a bit. As a result, they said there wasn't much they could do when the problem wasn't presenting itself. I could have done that myself so I asked if there was more in depth diagnostics to possibly determine a battery problem and I got a confusing response. They may have just needed more time, but I had it there for long enough. There is usual place I go to, but wanted to try this location due to high ratings.It may be a good establishment, but my experience was not worth it to pay for services.

Mike and Brock are awesome! I ve been taking both my cars there for years. They are honest, knowledgeable and personable. The shop is always busy, but well worth the wait. They won t take advantage of you or do any unnecessary repairs but they will tell you what you can do to to make parts last longer and advise you on your options. I cannot recommend these guys enough!

I have been coming here for about 3 years now after searching for an honest mechanic for years. Mike is the most honest mechanic I have ever met. He lets us know when high cost fixes will most likely be needed down the road so we can start budgeting for them now and not be hit out of the blue with them. He is honest about when a fix isn t that big of a deal and/or not necessary. He remembers my husband and I and our cars and is always so accommodating. After years of bouncing around from mechanic to mechanic, we have finally found one we feel like we can trust!

I like this place a lot. Mike has been our family's mechanic for years. The service is top notch, the explanations straight forward, and the prices fair/great. I stopped coming for a while because there was another garage much closer to me, but after a bad sales pressuring experience I came straight back here and don't ever want to leave.

Best place in town! I drive 25 min from North Utah County because Mike Stika is the best auto guy I have ever met. Years ago I had another quote from someone who told me it would be around $1500. Mike told me it was a simple fix and only charged me $10. Mike is the reason this place rules. Talk to him and you may never go anywhere else.

Wow... I am BLOWN AWAY by their service!!! We've had several mechanics over the years, but no one comes close to these guys!! Mike has always been super honest about what our cars need and the work they do. I've never gotten a car back later than they said. And it's just nice to be able to know I can trust them! Honestly the best car service I've ever gotten

I have been taking all my vehicles here for over 18 years. This place is great and does great work. The guys are honest and will tell you what needs to be done and what you need to watch and can wait on fixing. They will also tell me if the fix is something I can do myself if I ask. I would trust them with any of my vehicle's maintenance.

I have gone to a lot of different mechanics in Provo, and I've finally found someone I trust with my cars. I have nothing but great things to say. Mike and his crew have always been honest and respectful. Mike takes time to walk me through the repairs meticulously, which I appreciate. Price seems fair when I compare to other mechanics I've used. They have always done a great job!

We have been going to Auto Performance for 20 years. We have 4 cars and Mike remembers all of them and each of their histories. Occasionally I have to take a car someplace else and I have never been as happy with other service as I am with the service at Auto Performance. As so many others have commented, they are honest, fair, timely and easy to communicate with. I am grateful to have a mechanic I trust completely.

I have been bringing my vehicles here for years. Mike and his crew provide excellent customer service. They are professional and honest about the repairs needed, and explain the work performed. Their prices are reasonable and fair. As a female customer, I am extremely comfortable dealing with this business, or sending my daughter there for her car repairs. Want an excellent, honest, reasonably priced mechanic? I recommend this shop without reservation!

The customer service here is amazing. Mike helped me and he was able to explain the issues I was having in ways that I could understand. He didn't talk down to me like a lot of mechanics do to women. He didn't charge me for a quick diagnostic scan of my car. I'm definitely coming here from now on!

Take your car here, they are good people and well-priced.
