I know you are good people, and I thought I d give you a second try today. I had a super bad experience a few years ago, but I really wanted to use a local business and specializes in diesel trucks. So I thought why not.Brought my truck in this morning dropped it off at approximately 805 to get a tire rotation and oil change that I scheduled last week with somebody in the back. At exactly 12 o clock. I called the shop or the front desk and a gal answered the phone. I asked her to check on the status of my truck and if it was done or not. She said she didn t know and she said she had to go back and check. She came back after a minute and she said they were in the middle of it. I told her I am in a hurry like I told the guy this morning, and I was trying to get out of town.I come in at approximately 115, an hour and 15 minutes after I called to see if my truck was done. I saw their part and I thought sweet, but why didn t she call me to let me know it was done. I went in saw the owners wife, pretty girl I remember, and I asked about my truck. Dude went back to ask and when he came back, he said oh, they were just about to pull it back.? I get half an operations issues and timeliness issues, but I don t get lying to customers, so if you a lot of customers, it makes me think you re lying about other things. Integrity! It s not hard to have but clearly whoever the female was they picked up the phone and exactly 12 o clock lacks integrity. Just have a hard conversation with the customer. Make an apology and then be done. You did that not me. You earned your one star. Super frustrated and unfortunately I m gonna go have to find somebody that can take care of my truck.

This is the diesel shop you re looking for!I was on the road to Colorado for my youth ski teams National championships when my transfer case let go. I originally was towed to a dealership down the road where I was told one thing on the phone and another when I arrived wasn t going to cut it I immediately searched for a locally owned, established diesel shop . Called and spoke with Cameron. Only took a couple sentences to realize Utah diesel center was where I needed to be. Cameron spoke with professionalism and the utmost understanding for a stranded traveler. They were under the truck at 730am the next morning, diagnosed and tore down by 1130 and had me on the road to the kiddos by 730pm. I was extremely impressed by the shop, from the front counter service with Kevin, who s very knowledgeable and easy to talk to, to the multitude of work bays, this place is legit. From the family truck to the company dump truck to the 60kw generator, I saw all types of diesels being professionally worked on, and in a very timely manner. I wished I lived in the area because this would be the only place working on my truck. Big thanks and shout out to the WHOLE crew at Utah Diesel Center, your professionalism, knowledge and understanding was very impressive and refreshing in a world of cookie cutter corporate shops. Keep up the great work!

Had fuel issues leading to stalling on a cross country trip in my 7.3l powerstroke. Pulled in at 1pm on a Friday, drove away at 5pm. Issue is completely resolved. Sincere thank you! If every business was run this way, the country would be a better place. Can you folks go run the government please? -@aux_built

If you own a diesel, this is the place that you want to go. They know their stuff. They are an honest and upfront company and they are not out to take it vantage of your customers. They will be my first choice every time as long as they are in business, sincerely Ryan Howard U.S. Army Retired!

Amon Was awesome.I stopped for some advice on my 2003 Super Duty. He took it for a ride and talked to me about ideas the entire time. He gave me suggestions, but was straight forward and honest about his suggestions. Even thought i am sure he could tell i was disappointed, he didn't try to tell me to spend a bunch of money. He was not afraid to be honest and that integrity will keep me coming back. He even offered suggestions that i had not asked about to keep my engine running longer and not have problems in the future.Thank you Amon and Utah Diesel. I will be back.

We have an Isuzu box truck that our warehouse guys decided to run without coolant Nedless to say we needed a little motor work. I started to seek a shop that could help me and was discouraged as no one seemed to want anything to do with an Isuzu. I was recommended by a shop to call Utah Diesel Center. When I called I still remember them saying sure we work on those trucks all the time. They did a phenomenal job and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Utah Diesel Center is the best company I have found in Utah, they have been able to fix deep issues on few of my trucks. They work with a lot of responsibility.That's the truth, They are good.

If you are ever in Salt Lake City area and need help with your Diesel engine, this is where you want to go! If you are considering having work done in the future, book ahead and get it done here. We were passing through with our RV. The alternator quit. We arrived at 4:30 in the evening and were back on the road at noon. Tyrell did the work. He was patient, pleasant, and efficient. We have not had any issues since. Well worth having work done here!

Have been a customer from 2019 EXTREMELY happy with their service and timely manner that they accomplish their tasks they are upfront and honest have done over 10,000 dollars of work on my 2001 Dodge and it was money well invested can't thank them enough. This is the only place to bring your diesel truck if you want it done right. I have been coming to Utah Diesel Center for years and they have become like family. The front ladies make handing over my wallet enjoyable! Andrea always smiles while taking my money and I drive off in my fixed up truck so I suppose a win win situation. All jokes aside I truly wouldn't trust any other shop with my trucks! Thanks Ammon and Cameron for going above and beyond.

Exceptional customer service! I was traveling with my family, cross country, for our oldest daughter s wedding and some family vacation when we had the check engine light come on in our RV.We called Utah Diesel service to see if there was any chance they could work us in. Cameron came out and checked the codes as soon as we came into town so we knew what we were dealing with. Ultimately, we needed a new turbo, actuator, and map sensor.That was a lot of work for someone to take on, unplanned, when we were in a time crunch with wedding events. They chased down the parts, overnighted delivery, and stayed late on a Friday night to complete the repairs and enabled us to get to our wedding events. I realize they didn t have to do all this. But they did do all that, and my family and a new bride/groom are very thankful. I d recommend Utah Diesel Center in a heartbeat!

My truck has been having intermittent random shifting issues for the past few years with no codes or anything telling exactly what it s been. I have taken it to multiple shops with most of them not willing to invest the time to diagnose and just telling me it s a transmission which I ve had a hard time believing. When I called Ammon he told me he highly doubted it was my transmission and said they would dive in and try to figure it out. It took a little bit of digging but they found the issue which was something no one could have found unless they really dug in and had the experience and know how to know what they were doing. Awesome work and so grateful for a smooth running truck again, would recommend these guys to anyone!

We were traveling through northern Utah on our way to the parks in southern Utah for vacation. My Dodge 3500 diesel truck developed an intermittent problem and would not always start. I called Utah Diesel Center at about 8:30 AM and spoke with the manager, Cameron. Even though they were very busy, he agreed to take a look at my truck that morning. Kevyn was the mechanic and he was able to look at my truck within 20 minutes of my arrival at their shop. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a worn out starter motor (the truck has 218,000 miles on it). They ordered a new starter motor from a local supply house, and Kevyn had it installed by 11:30. He also inspected my brakes, checked and topped up all fluids. Kevyn was extremely knowledgeable, competent, professional, and friendly. He answered all of my questions, including several that had nothing to do with the starter problem. We were on the road by noon and had no problems the rest of our vacation. I can't thank Cameron and Kevyn enough for fitting us in on such short notice and for doing such a marvelous job of diagnosis and repair. They saved our vacation. I just wish I lived in the Provo area so I could use them as my regular mechanic. Note to Cameron--you really need to pay Kevyn more--he is fabulous and a real asset to your company.

Thank you so much to Ammon and Utah Diesel Center!! My father and I were traveling from Los Angeles on our way to the Yukon and had an unexpected issue with the turbo on our Ford 6.4 - We decided to stop in SLC and couldn't find solid help anywhere by calls ahead. I stopped in at Utah Diesel just to see if we could get some basic feedback. Ammon was super busy and the bays were full, he had no business tending to us that day. To our pleasant surprise, he went out of his way, took hours out of his day to come to our aid and diagnose our situation! Once he ran all scans and such we were able to find the true root of the problem and he gave us clear cut estimates and turnaround time on site, along w honest advice on how to continue. A true blessing - couldn't have asked for a better outcome! To top it all off Andrea at front office was sincere attentive and helpful throughout. Truly appreciative thx again Ammon & UDC! Best shop in town. Only place I will ever take my truck, without question. They take good care of their customers and the turn around time is good especially when you see how busy they are. I got my truck back faster than they stated and under budget

Most Professional and concerning team I have ever seen. The Utah diesel center has gone above and beyond to help myself and family. We were traveling thru from California to Arkansas when my truck broke down in there area. They were already over loaded with work but when we were in need they didn't hesitate to help us out and get us back on the road. The whole team took concern in my vehicle problem and the bad situation I and my family was in. There prices were more then reasonable. And they all worked quickly to get us back on the road. At the end I tried to tip Cameron $100 dollars and he would not even take it. Every one I met in Utah was great, but Cory and Cameron at the Utah diesel center and the rest of the team has proven to me and my family that there is good honest caring people still out there. I would recommend Utah diesel center to anyone especially to people who are traveling thru. I give the highest ratings to this team. I'm sure any one who visit the Utah diesel center will be more then satisfied with there reasonable rates and there professionalism. Thanks again Utah Diesel Center Family.

I own a Diesel shop in the Uintah Basin and teamed up with Cameron and Ammon and Utah Diesel Center back in 2012. These guys have been outstanding to work with as well as the quality of their work is exceptional. They have not only provided outstanding work on certain projects for my company but as well for the customers we serve. They have helped often on warranties on class 8 trucks as well as others that have been in the area we have sent to them. The front office is well ran and managed. His office is good at calling and getting me the products I need when I need them. Over the years we have teamed up with Utah Diesel Center and have built on average 18 performance diesel engines per year. The passion they have at Utah Diesel Center is one reason we continue doing business with them and refer all customers we have throughout the Utah and Salt Lake County that just cant make it to the Basin to go see the staff and crew at Utah Diesel Center. And like any shop, we all make mistakes, what sets us apart is the ones who back their work and quality. Utah Diesel is that shop. I would recommend to anyone.

Incredible customer service!! I called in because I saw so many great reviews. I spoke with Rosalie (she does a great job!) and she had me talk with Cameron. I had an electrical issue in my Peterbilt truck. Cameron said they were swamped but if I dropped by they'd look at it. When I got there they not only looked at it, but Kevin fixed it in 15 minutes. Wow! Kevin did a great job and there wasn't a charge! This company is the real deal. I would recommend them to anyone who has a diesel.

I called Utah diesel center this morning with problems on my 6.5L turbo.after calling 15 other shops that wouldn t work with me, They had a 3 week waiting list and got me in the shop today knowing my situation. I flew out here from Michigan to buy a truck that started having issues within the first 150 miles. Ammon schmidt not only got me taken care of before the end of the day for my safe travels home but came down on the price to ensure I would be able to afford the rest of the trip home. The service ladies at the front desk are very helpful and friendly. I would recommend anyone in a pinch who needs someone they can trust to get it right the first time to call them immediately!

Love these guys and gals. They know their stuff when it comes to diesel repair. Getting my turbo replaced in my Ram and they didn t over charge me, they answered all of my questions, and they even gave me lots of pointers and advise on how I should be driving my truck to avoid turbo damage in the further. Plus they have swag. I love a shop with swag. Give them a try and ask for Cameron. He did a wonderful job for me.

Our truck broke down in Spanish Fork UT on I-15 S as it was exiting 257A. I had called about 10 other road service companies but they were unavailable or unreasonable. After an hour of calling, I was finally able to get assistance from Utah Diesel Center. Brandie Raymer was who initially took the call and she had a positive attitude with a great personality.Kevin arrived in about an hour and resolved our fuel line issue promptly and efficiently. Kevin was a true professional with great communication. Thanks to Kevin we will now make our on-time delivery in El Paso TX. I highly recommend Utah Diesel Center because they are honest with fair and reasonable rates for a road service call.

First time customer. Took in my F-350 on Thanksgiving week without an appointment. Front office staff very quick, professional and friendly. Ammon called and texted me (great communication). Spoke to Kevin who was great in helping me. My rig was ready to go! I was pleased with diagnosis and repair. Honest fair pricing. Great experience! I believe I found a shop I can trust. I am very pleased and happy. All done during a holiday week! Great job guys!

On our way back home to Oregon, our RV broke down on a Friday evening. I called Utah Diesel and even though they had no openings for a week, they were able to get us back up and running on Monday! Since we were travelling in the RV, we camped in their parking lot for the weekend. Randy did a great job figuring out the electrical issues, and the girls in the office and Ammon were all great to work with. We made it home safely. Thank you, thank you thank you!

Absolutely great service and friendly staff! Sean and the very kind men working here went above and beyond to help us in a jam. No one else in the area did motorhome oil changes or were booked 2 weeks out. We explained our situation and they did the impossible to get us in and out quickly so we could hit the road. Thank you so very much! These guys are the best!

Best Diesel shop in Utah hands down. Honest, told me exactly what I needed and charged me a fair price. Got the job done faster than I expected as well. Overall they're my new mechanics for any job I need on any diesel I own.

Here's the deal, I love my 2002 Ford Excursion with a fully updated 7.3 Diesel. Although I love the truck I'm not a mechanic. I have been to several diesel mechanics up and down the valley and paid thousands of dollars for them to work on my truck. Historically I have had to go back several times to get an issue resolved paying dearly every time. A year ago I found Utah Diesel Center. To say they are an answer to prayer would be an understatement. They love my truck as much as I do. They have loved diesel trucks for several generations now from father to sons and it shows. My truck has never run better and I have never felt as confident as I do when I drop my truck off. Thank you Ammon and Cameron for loving my truck as much as I do. It makes all the difference.

These guys are very knowledgeable and skilled. This is the second time I have brought my truck to them and I have been impressed both times. The second and most recent trip here I threw a small temper tantrum when I was handed the bill but Cameron handled it well and went above and beyond to make me happy. Later I realized that I was in the wrong (sorry guys) and felt terrible about my temper tantrum. I will definitely bring my truck here anytime I need honest fast work done.
