Working with this dealership was a rare experience. We were able to negotiate a good deal on the vehicle- they had options to buy a warranty with a third party, and a working relationship with AlpineCU for good rates. Phil was great to work with, low pressure, and explained everything I needed to know. Would recommend.

Both Blake and Travis were great to deal with. Buying my Fiat 500e was trouble free. This business doesn't charge huge dealer fees like others do. They just charge a small modest fee to cover their expenses which I was more than happy to pay them. Their level of service was above and beyond. I bought my car from them and had them ship it cross country. With COVID impacting cross country travels and shipping they worked very hard to find a shipper for me. When my car arrived it was so much better than I ever expected. With Family Auto Sales I received a lot of value for my dollar, both value in service and value in goods purchased.Thank you Blake and Travis! Finally enjoying my electric car thanks to your hard work with the car carriers. :-)

I bought a car here all cash . Within a few days the engine light came on and it needed an oil change after I was told it recently had one. The engine light would come and go the first year. After a year of having my car, it broke down completely. Was never able to restore it. I wouldn t waste my time or money. I truly felt like I was scammed and screwed over.

Dave is awesome! We were looking at a car out of state, and a local private party seller from KSL. We ended up choosing Dave/Go Family Auto because of the selection they had, and the guarantee of service, rather than ship a car across the US we had never seen. Ultimately, we got something that solved our problem better than the other two options we were considering. Dave was super helpful, got everything done quickly, and took great care of us. We got a better car for the money, and I'm super happy with our purchase/experience. Would highly recommend!!! 5/5! And love that they sell all or almost all EVs- helping people make the transition to something more sustainable, cheaper to maintain, and fun to drive. : ) The Fiat 500e might be kind of ugly, but it is like driving a super fast, big golf cart. Very fun to drive!

Blake and Travis were great! I purchased my 2017 Fiat 500e sight unseen. The car arrived in great condition. I live in Wisconsin. They took care of everything, even arranging transport of the car. No ridiculous dealer or doc fees either. There was a small rock chip in the windshield. Blake arranged to have it filled and even paid me for the cost of the repair. I can t say enough how pleased I am with this dealership. They really care about people and do the right thing.

We bought a 2017 Chevy Bolt in the spring of 2020 and couldn't have had a better experience with Family Auto. Their sales team was very knowledgeable about EVs, they didn't pressure us about making a sale, and we were able to get very reasonable financing for our car. We've now had the car for several years and it's been a fantastic purchase!

I don't normally give online reviews, other than to hit the star button and leave it at that. However, if you're taking the time to read this I really want you to know more than just my star rating. This is by far the best dealership I've ever purchased a vehicle from, and unfortunately I've had to vehicle shop several times, so please take that statement seriously. I accidentally went to the wrong location to look at a very specific car. Rather than have me drive to the other location Phil had it brought to me. While my wife and I waited he entertained us, something I know from experience others would never do. His prices are better than every other dealership I could find online or within at least a 75 mile radius from where I live. The very next day I saw a neighbor had also just purchased a car from him and I was genuinely happy to see that. This is a business that really needs to stick around. In a couple of years when I'll be ready to get another vehicle, in addition to this EV I just bought, I'll definitely be looking here first!

We had a great sales experience and A+ follow through when we had problems.Blake and Travis were easy going and very helpful in getting the financing taken care of, answering questions about the vehicle, and letting us take it to a mechanic. We were in and out in a few hours which was a dream.When the transmission failed only 6 weeks later we were very upset. We felt cheated and completely without options. We approached them immediately and they promised to make it right. Well, they definitely did. They took it to their mechanic shop (4 Seasons Automotive) and immediately made the $3,000 repair at no cost to us. We were amazed that they would take complete responsibility.We took our newly fixed van to another mechanic to do an inspection on their work and to find any other issues. They found that everything was in great condition, including the transmission.We could not be more pleased with Family Auto. Thank you Blake and Travis. God bless you both and your families.

I can t say enough good things about these guys at Family Auto Sales! Over the years I ve been to many dealerships/auto sales locations, have test driven too many cars to count, and have bought several cars, but I ve never been to a place that takes care of their customers the way that Family Auto does.First, I saw online the vehicle I wanted, and it had a lot of great pictures, which helped. Then I called and talked with Travis. Right away I discovered that he knew the business, he knew finance, and he was not an ordinary salesman. I scheduled a time to meet him at the dealership. 30 minutes later we met, he handed me the keys, and let me go through the vehicle for as long as I wanted, which ended up being over 10 minutes before I even took it out on a test drive. After I got back to Family Auto Sales, we sat down, talked about options, and the process truly couldn t have been better! I bought the vehicle that day and have been extremely happy with it and the service I ve received, from the initial contact through today. If I had a question regarding financing, the new plates, or anything, these guys have been on it, and have been very nice and accommodating each time.Blake and Travis told me that they want to earn lifelong customers; I can tell you that as for me, I ll be back there in the future when I need/want another vehicle, and I ll be telling all of my family and friends to go to Family Auto Sales in Pleasant Grove, UT, first!

Working with Phil out of the Pl. Grove and Dave out of the Salt Lake Auto sales have been great. This is the first EV vehicle that I have owned and bought. The vehicle is Nice and well-maintained. What I like about family Auto, is they know the stuff with EV cars. They answered all my questions about the car. I have been a Car and truck guy my whole life, but when it comes to the new EVs and electric cars, I wanted my questions answered. They are also not pushy when it comes to selling cars. I would recommend these two guys if you are looking for an EV or electric car. They will answer your questions, even if you are not ready to make the jump into EV.Thank you Phil and Dave.

I just bought my first EV from Family Auto in pleasant grove. Phil was fantastic to work with. He answered all my questions, educated me on EV s and was super helpful at helping me find the perfect car. They gave me a great trade in value for my old car. The entire process was smooth and stress free. I strongly recommend them to anyone in need of a vehicle.

Great experience at Family Auto. No pressure or gimmicks. Friendly and helpful. When there was a small issue with the car I bought (as there almost always is when buying a used car) Phil was helpful and willing to do whatever he had to to make it right. He could have just said that I bought it "as is" with no warranty from them, like other dealers would have, but he stood behind it. Highly recommended.

What a great place to buy a vehicle! We had the chance to work with Travis, Josh and David. All our questions were answered. Great, sound advice and input. They knew the vehicles strengths well. They were well versed in financing options and warranty services.My wife and I bought a truck from them. So impressed that we brought one of our sons back 2 days later and he bought a truck from them.They had a wonderful assortment of electric and hybrid vehicles also. This is a great place to do business. We will be back. We have no hesitations about recommending you to Family auto for any and ever vehicle purchase that you make.

Purchasing a car from Family Auto has been a great experience. I initially spoke with Travis about his inventory of EV s. I was leaning towards one model, however after driving various models they offer I chose differently.Travis didn t pressure me and gave me plenty of time to test drive cars. I left that day with good feeling about how they conduct business.The following week I was back and worked with Blake. He was equally as helpful and willing to let me drive a few more cars.I ultimately choose and purchased a Chevy Bolt. They made the purchase a good experience. Very different than other car dealer experiences.Blake worked with me to ensure I was happy with my purchase and went beyond my expectations.I would recommend Family Auto if you are in the market for an Electric or Hybrid car. They know quite a lot about them and can guide you to the best vehicle for your needs or wants.

This is the next closest option to buying to buying from a private owner. Not at all like a car dealer! Blake (sales person) is really down to earth and the owner Travis will contact and make sure you are happy...after the sale. I will refer others in the future!

The initial experience of buying the car was fine. I purchased a Tesla from them in the summer of 21. We had a written agreement in place to fix some things on the car including the front lower valance that was scratched, buffing scratches out of the driver side seat, and replacing some window chrome. I called Phil a few times and he said Travis was handling it and would get back to me, but never has. I sent text messages to Phil on 8/8/21, 8/11/21, stopped by late November '21 and another message on 6/6/22. All messages went unanswered when I asked about fixing the things listed in the agreement. Very poor follow through on an agreement that I have in writing and signed by Phil. They pitched themselves as different from other dealerships.

Phill is honest, easy to work with and fair. I have now bought 2 cars from him and will always come here first for my EV needs. There is a reason it s called family auto and it s because you feel part of his family. I recommend him to everyone.

Phil lied to me about my car qualifying for the used EV tax credit. If he told you this same lie last year, your used car won't qualify if you bought it before January 1, 2023.Also, I told him that a tire was low on my first test drive, he filled it up before I came back again, I asked if it was holding and he said it was. It wasn't, and when it started to rain and snow I realized just how bad the tires were handling. The 2 front tires on my car had more miles than the car did, they were bald and had to be replaced.Overall, a very poor experience.

Been 18 months since our dealing with Family Auto - no title has been given to our credit union and our credit union has been attempting to receive documents. Cant fix, cant cancel warranty, cant trade in. Improper and illegal practices. Stay far far away. Owners pay to remove reviews. Lots more 1 star when you do thorough research

Phil was great and easy to work with. Both my wife and I purchased a car here, got a great rate, and a great deal for our trade-ins. We never felt pressured into anything, and it was all-in-all a very easy and pleasant experience.

Highly recommended.We bought a Toyota Highlander last year and the guys at this place were great to work with. Low key sales and no pressure at all. They were patient with my millions of questions and did a great job with processing the paperwork in a timely manner. I agree with one of the other reviews in that the customer service is excellent.There were a couple of minor issues on the car when we bought it. One of the seat belts had fallen in the seat and we couldn't get it out and also there was a little tow access panel in the front that was missing. They covered addressing those items and even had it in writing in the sale. They were really good about taking care of those items.About 6 months after the sale we asked about getting a hitch installed and they called around to places for us and arranged the whole install. All we had to do was show up and they got us a great deal on it. I am definitely going to return to this place in the future.

Bought a used 2016 e-Golf here an absolutely love it. The buying process was easy and straight forward. No pushy sales tactics. I have called Blake a few times since buying the car with questions (first time EV owner) and he is super helpful and nice. Most used car lots are only helpful if you are shopping for a car and stop being helpful as soon as they get your money, not these guys.

Came to Family Auto off of a recommendation from our loan officer at the bank to talk to Travis. We'd been getting the run-around at all the big dealerships throughout Utah and Salt Lake counties. Travis and Blake were were awesome, gave us all the info straight up as far as everything they knew with the car. The tread on the tires had maybe a year left on it, and when we expressed concern Travis said he'd take care of it before we took the car home. The car had brand new tires the day we took it. He'd had it detailed but the detailer had missed some areas in the back seat, so he had it detailed again and the car was spotless when we picked it up from him.A couple months down the road we had an issue with the emergency key in the fob not working. I contacted Travis about it, but somehow nothing came of it, but it wasn't a major issue since the fob itself worked great. Now, almost a year after buying the car, I had dropped the ball on communicating with these guys about the key. They had no obligation to help me at all, and every car salesman I've ever met would've takenthis opportunity to tell me to go eat dirt rather than helping me out, but literally 5 minutes after I posted my first review, Blake was on the phone with my husband and had scheduled someone to come see what was wrong with our key.These guys are incredible and have serious integrity. You have to know when you're buying a used car that it probably isn't going to be in pristine condition, but Travis and Blake will go the extra mile to make sure they're getting you a good deal.

Family Auto is absolutely awesome. I worked with Travis and he was very open and honest and really kind and respectful. I had a great experience there and I plan to return for future car needs.I had shopped extensively for a car and talked with a lot of dealerships and private sellers. Singlehandedly the best dealer I have had the pleasure of working with. Steve and Travis were so professional and kind in working with me and my spouse in our situation. Our previous car broke down with so many issues and they had us in and out same day, approved on our loan. I couldn't be more happy with the vehicle we received as well. It was our first EV and it's been an excellent car to own. I'd refer all my friends and family to them because they set the standard for the car industry. Plus I came to them with a question in the early AM hours and they answered it in minutes, truly impressed.

We bought a car from Family Auto 3 years ago, we had a minor issue with the charging system and called them just to ask for a referral. Well they were very familiar with the problem, knew how to fix it, and didn t charge me a dime in labor only for the inexpensive part. This is why my family has bought over 10 cars from Travis and his team.

*Edit*After leaving a scathing review from the frustration of driving 4 hours each way to see a car that I feel was inaccurately described over the phone and through pictures, I am editing my review to the following:To those looking to purchase from Family Auto Sales:Blake was a nice, non smarmy salesman, but make sure you do your homework and ask a lot of questions before traveling to visit this dealership. I hope others will have a better experience than I did.My ask to Family Auto Sales is that you be more informative and transparent to customers about your vehicles and extra sensitive to those traveling to your dealership. A smoking engine and stained interior should not be described as "excellent" condition.
