Good people, good service. They've always been fair with me. I had another shop tell me I needed several things done a month ago. Carter's checked it out and said I didn't. They've been around a long time. Hope they stick around for many years to come. Thank you Carter's Carter'sCarter's.

Dishonest shop!!! My customers took a car to Carters shop for a pre-purchase inspection. Mechanics there stated that all 4 of the brakes are bad and need to be replaced. We decided to replace the brake pads for our customers at a different shop and turned out, that the front (original) brakes were almost new (see attached pictures bellow). Pictures show a comparison "brand New" on the left and "original old pads" on the right, you can clearly see that they pretty much identical. Its hard to find an honest mechanic now-days and the Carters shop is a clear example of a scam shop that tries to sell you unnecessary parts/labor. Just waste mine and my customers' time.

Trust is a rare commodity these days especially with car mechanics so I m grateful to have had Carter s Auto Repair recommended to me. Todd Carter s a very kind individual and goes above and beyond to assist as a friend would another. He is a little farther than many mechanics near my place but I d rather go to someone I can trust. Thank you for helping me with my Corolla s evap pump replacement Todd!

Carter s is so amazing they re an honest family business that will be honest about what s going on with your car. And they won t add more Car Problems just to get more money out of their customers which is refreshing.

Carter s got me in right away today for a brake job. I ve been coming here for years with several different vehicles, and they ve always been honest with me, offered good quality service, and fair and reasonable prices.I appreciate that its a family run shop with a father and his kids working together. Highly recommend Carter s.

I've used Carter's a few times now for On the Spot emissions and renewals and always had a great experience.This morning, I drove up and asked if they could fit me in, I was immediately directed to door 2 and told it would take about 8 minutes. About 8 minutes later, they were done, and I paid and was on my way.The staff are friendly and responsive and have never minded me asking questions about issues with my other vehicles.

Came in for a simple emissions test and the young lady was finished probably 5 minutes later! ImpressiveI have a 2017 Hyundai so obviously she could ve found about a million things wrong with it. Coolant leak, oil burning, premature engine failure, other repairs needed which I can t afford on this outing.Yet didn t try to upsell me on anything else besides what I came in for. Jiffy lube should take a note lol

We have been using this shop for a long time. They are always fast with the repair and we ve never had a problem with their repairs. Their repairs are usually much cheaper than other places as well. They don t play games with you. They just get the job done fast and send you on your way.

I have been to Carter's twice now - once to replace a faulty alternator and today to check my brake system and replace all of the rotors and brakes on my Accord. Like many other reviewers on here I have been pleasantly suprised at the speed of service as well as the very reasonable pricing. They are no frills - get the job done and from what I have seen they do a very good job. I would recommend if you want a trusty down to earth mechanic. It is also nice supporting a small family business right down the block from where I live.Service: Auto brake replacement

Great shop and service. I ve been going to them for my registration for a few years and I am in and out within 10 minutes. If I ever have some major repairs I ll definitely be coming to them.

We needed our window repaired, but needed it done at the lowest possible price. I had my husband bring them our car to get a quote, and they ended up fixing it without telling us, then charged us more than we were able to pay. All we needed was a quote.I will never go back here, and if you want to know what you are paying up front I advise you not to come here either.Services: Auto power window repair, Vehicle Inspection

Carter's always fits us in quickly for very reasonable prices. It is true that they will sometimes turn down complicated repairs, so I do go to other shops sometimes. But Carter's can always be counted on to get simple jobs done quickly and easily

When we moved to Utah 3 years ago I needed to find a mechanic I could trust, it quickly became clear that it was going to be difficult to find the best Auto repair shop for integrity, quality, service and price with the number of repair shops in my surrounding area.I was lucky and found Carter s Auto Repair & I would highly recommend them to anyone, Todd is as honest as the day is long. I am a transplant to Pleasant Grove. Over the past 3+ years I have gone to Carter s for six Emmisions tests, brakes, and shocks. Todd has always worked me in and out of the shop very quickly and with very fair pricing. I will definitely recommend Carter s to others. In fact, I just scheduled my daughters car for a tune-up, and differential service, and she lives in Sandy. Keep up the good work!! Great overall experience! Called in the morning and they were able to get me in same day. I had several things to be fixed. They called with updates and gave me accurate quotes that came in at great prices. Was very comfortable and confident with them. Called for quote to replace the head gasket on my vehicle. The representative told me he wouldn't give me even a ball park price. He simply said that he didn't want the job. I asked if he knew of another shop to contact and his reply was that he doesn't recommend anyone else to just take to the dealership. They were no help at all and if they are just going to pass on jobs they should not advertise.

Very fast and reliable, got my front breaks done And oil changed in my 1999 F-150 And it was better prices than everyone else around Utah county. He don t come at you afterwards with a list of all the extras you don t need he handles the main issues and shoots everything to you straight. VERY HONEST! Very polite, and you leave feeling less pressure. I will be using this shop for most of my vehicle repairs and I now recommend my friends and family here.

You know. Sometimes you are just floored at the bill when you come to pick up your car after it s repaired. When you pick up your car from Carter s you are floored that it is SO REASONABLE! Some other mechanics gouge you I feel. Never have I felt that way with Carter s. And never have I felt dissatisfied with his service, and I have been coming here for several years. And he can usually fit you in in a timely manner. I am hesitant to let people know how amazing this shop is for fear it will get too crowded. Ha ha. But yeah, it s that awesome.

My family has been coming here for a long time, and what I've learned is that these guys are everything you want, expect, and respect out of an automachanic. Family run, honest, no B.S. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

We've been bringing our cars here for several years since Todd came highly recommended by my parents and we've always been treated exceptionally well. He's always gone out of his way to make sure we are taken care of every time even if it took a couple of tries and a lot of extra work to find out what was going on. I really appreciate both of them for being very honest and doing whatever they can to squeeze us in even on the busiest of days. Highly recommend even if you have to go out of your way a little. Genuinely good people.

You know how it's hard to find someone you can trust and afford?! You won't have that problem here. I've never been treated poorly and I've been bringing my vehicles and recommending my family and friends here for over 10 years. It's family owned and run. They are always on time. Open at convenient hours. I haven't ever returned a vehicle with the same problem, they fix what I go in for. Honest people that seem to love what they are good at. They are belong to the group of people that make this world go round. #1.

I have been going to Carter's for 23 years and have never been disappointed. They're always honest and charge around 30% less than the other shops I call around to. This is a father and son operation that's been going strong for many, many years before I ever began going. I've recommended them to friends and family and will continue doing so. Nothing but good to say about Carter's Auto in Pleasant Grove!

Ever since I was told of Carter's, I've never been anywhere else for oil changes or on the spot renewals. Price is good and I'm usually in and out in a very timely manner. I've brought multiple cars here and nothing is ever damaged when I leave. I never write reviews because places always make me want to change my review, but Carter's is consistent.

We love Carter's. My dad actually went to school with the original owner of Carters who pass it down to his son, who is now training his son and daughter to take over for him when he retires. They're very affordable, very reliable and all around good
