Eddie and his shop are awesome. My rack and pinion went out on my G37 and Eddie worked with me and was able to help track down the parts we needed even though they were incredibly rare for my model year. Pricing made sense and the work was done quick and well. I ll definitely be back here to get all of my work done!

I recently went here for new breaks and the service was amazing! They got me in right away, they showed me the damage to my current breaks and ordered only the parts that were needed.The mechanic made sure I wasn't without a car during the time it took to fix mine. They fixed it within a few hours for a good price!I noticed when I got home with my car that my hand break wasn't working and they had me come back and they fixed it right away at no extra cost.The service was amazing, the workers were kind and bilingual, it was not too expensive and I am very happy with my new breaks

I brought a car here on a Saturday morning for a pre-purchase inspection. It was easy to get an appointment, and Eddie seemed very knowledgeable and straight-forward. He took time to educate me on various aspects of his process and the car, and he even shared about his own experience with the dealership I was looking to buy the car from. This place operates in a very straight-forward way, and I left feeling that I could trust the work that was done. With confidence in Eddie s inspection, I ended up purchasing the car, and I will definitely be coming back here for my future car needs!

Car Doc charges a diagnostic fee to look at your car. My car is old, and if the cost was too high I would rather spend the $$$ toward a newer vehicle, so I asked for a worse case scenario, before paying the fee. I was told worse case $1200, and the diagnostic fee would be put towards the total cost. I felt that was acceptable and paid the diagnostic fee. They called me next day and quoted almost 3 times as much as the worse case . They wasted my time, and refused to refund the diagnostic fee.

The best place! I m about to sell our car. went in because the dealership we were trying to sell it to said we had a bad transmission . We then took it in to the Doctor of Orem. Eddie, the mechanic, took a look free of charge, drove around and went into detail of the condition of our car. It s good to go! Thanks, Eddie!

Huge fan, helped me with a pre-purchase inspection. Not only looked at mechanic work but did a once-over to see if car had body damage as well. I really like these guys!! Good price too.

I get really stressed whenever I come across car issues because my car knowledge is extremely limited. Because of this, I have been taken advantage of before, so I am very picky when it comes to mechanics. I've been looking for a mechanic that is as knowledgable and honest as the owner of this car shop since I moved to Utah in 2014. I thought it would be easier, but it has taken me almost 9 years to find a solid mechanic that I feel comfortable with.I was recommended to the Car Doctor of Orem last year by a close friend and I am so grateful. I highly recommend them because: Their prices are reasonable/affordable, they get their work done efficiently, and they know what they're doing (you can tell by the way he explains things to you and by the kinds of questions he asks you).

The only place I'm bringing my cars from now on! It's so hard to find a trustworthy mechanic, and Eddie is as trustworthy as they come. He is so incredibly friendly and really does right by you. He also got my car in the very next day, when everywhere else locally was at least 2 weeks out. Huge thank you!

I loved how much Eddie kept me involved in the process as we diagnosed and fixed a hard-to-find issue in the steering of my sedan. Super nice people here, went above and beyond to exceed and repair my car issues. Also saved 120$ on a car alignment I was told by another place in provo that I "needed" The car doctors told me my car was perfectly aligned and diagnosed the actual problems. I apperciate their honesty and efficiency. Will be recommending this place to friends and family.

I got my brakes done here a few months ago, and I couldn t be happier with the work that was done. Eddie is the most honest mechanic in town, and took the time to explain everything he was doing, and asked before he even did any work. I usually never post reviews and when I do they re always super positive, so this will be an exception. I just couldn t keep from saying anything in good conscience, especially since I personally rely heavily on accurate google reviews.I ve also attached the receipt we got from them which we didn t analyze initially but after losing $600 took a closer look and can see that it clearly shows the total INCLUDING TAX is $628.79 while we were actually charged $641.27 by Eddie himself. We really expected more.The issue is not $12.57, but the dishonesty from start to finish and lack of willingness to help resolve the issue after taking over $600 to do a service that didn t resolve the issue we brought the van in for at all. Stay as far away from these guys as possible.My 2010 dodge caravan started randomly overheating. It s never been an issue before and immediately pulled over and looked for the nearest open mechanic. It was a Saturday so options were limited but I was hopeful as Orem car doctors had good reviews and were able to diagnose the problem at the start, saying they could see the issue was a cracked radiator. Initially they were super helpful since we made it about an hour and a half before they were supposed to close and they offered to stay a little later to get it done that day. They quoted us for $560 and about a couple hours later it was done, though we ended up paying $640. We were still grateful and happy to pay it for their help. The van drove fine the rest of the night but the very next morning had the EXACT same issues. When we called them Monday morning (May 8th), we learned they would be closed from the 8th-15th, which they NEVER mentioned before.At this point, we ll be waiting for them to open again with hopes they re willing to resolve the issue. I d be happy to update this review then but we are really disappointed with our first experience here and would recommend taking your vehicle ANYWHERE else before considering The Car Doctor of Orem.UPDATE: We received a callback from Eddie after seeing our review when he let us know we could either bring the van back to the shop or call a phone number that insures [their] work . We opted to take the van back to the shop when he told us not to and instead gave us the phone number. When we called the phone number it directed us to Factory motor parts nationwide warranty center which essentially only has to do with insuring the parts he replaced in our van that didn t fix the issue we had at all and were no help in getting my van fixed. If you want a trusted and honest mechanic, a reasonable price or even just get an issue with your car fixed, stay far far away from here.

Customer For Life!Eddie (owner) is highly knowledgeable, professional, and great to work with. Their crew works very hard, and approaches each job with excellence and integrity. We recently had an issue with the AC compressor, and the after-market part failed after a few months. Eddie worked with the supplier and ensured that they replaced it with an OEM part.I've been going to the Car Doctor of Orem for several years, and I trust that they will be honest and fair. This review is based on years of experience both with the Car Doctor and other mechanics in there area. We used to bring our car to whoever was most convenient or cheap, but over the years we learned this is the only place we ever need to go. We've had a really bad car that has needed lots of repairs. When we take it in for any reason, it's fixed right the first time and never goes bad again. Eddie uses only the best parts for your car. He never skimps on something to make a quick buck, and he and his team only take the easy way if it's the best thing for your car. Not only has he done exceptionally good work for us, but he and his team have always been polite and personable. They seem happy when we come in and often leave us feeling better at the end then when we started. We trust their work completely and will hate the day we move too far away to be able to go to them.

When I took my truck in, I told them about a time constraint. They promised it would be done by a certain time and it was. I felt that the repair was expensive, but from what I can tell it was competitive for the current economy.

They changed our brakes androtors for a very reasonable price. Super friendly staff. We had a problem a few weeks later, they went in and quickly diagnosed it and fixed the issue. They did the work for free since the original had been faulty, then gave us a little extra free service tying up the bottom of the car because of the hassle. Super great! And they explained what was going on as well so we could be welllinformed

Very professional. Small family owned business and they were very kind, caring and understanding. They took very good care of me and I felt like they were extremely honest, clear and upfront. They seemed to me to have lots of knowledge and experience and an ability to communicate without over complicating. I would use them for any and all car problems. Highly recommend.
