Meineke was awesome! I really enjoyed their service oriented model. They changed my oil and gave me a thorough diagnostics of my cars needs for ongoing maintenance, but not once was there a sales pitch or pressure to get things fixed. Granted, nothing about my car was an urgent or dire need. It was just refreshing to get the oil change I requested, and then to be educated on what they noticed needs help. They even took pictures of exactly what they saw, and sent me an appointment summary link that has my vehicles needs with all the associated explanation and photos. So now I can go back through and plan out my next appointments for the other fixes my car needs.I definitely recommend Meineke!

I brought my wife's Audi S5 to Meineke after purchasing it from Carvana -they are a Carvana preferred repair center. I was skeptical because of the complexity of the car, but their diagnosis was spot on, their familiarity with Audi was solid, their work was flawless, and the results were perfect. They were also friendly and communicated very well. I will definitely have my wife's car serviced here in the future!

Don t remember his name, but he was at the front desk. I drive an Audi q3 and my car said it needed an oil change so I go in, and he checks my car and says it doesn t need one and it has plenty of oil. Now stuff like that could go over someone s head, but for a 21 year old that doesn t know much about cars that means a lot. They just open up in October and it shows they want to be a loyal and trustworthy company. Definitely stop and know you re in good hands. They got a day 1 customer out of me

Great mechanic shop! Really great customer service. I love how up front they are and explain the options and prices upfront. If anyone is looking for a place to take their car. I would recommend here. They sometimes are pretty busy and may take a little longer than planned. But if I have to wait for them to take a look at my car, I will

This was the first time I have ever been to a Meineke Car Care Center. Very pleasant experience. They were all pleasant to talk and work with. I had to have some front end/alignment issues that needed to be fixed. Their prices were very reasonable. They noticed some other issues and suggested getting them done while the car was in their shop to save me some money. I also liked the email and text messages they sent, with pictures, showing the problems and keeping me updated on what was going on. Overall, I was very impressed with their work and their shop. I will return when I have additional issues with my car.

The vehicle inspections are through and very well detailed. Waiting room is clean and comfortable. There is also a thrift store next to the Meineke in Orem that also has cool items and clothes. Would highly recommend this place before going on a long road trip. Thanks again for the excellent and friendly service!

After a recommendation from an acquaintance, I took my very old Honda for a problem that I could not resolve myself. I was seen immediately and in short order was provided with a comprehensive evaluation of the many issues with this old vehicle, including the one for which I came to the shop originally. Because the cost of the needed repairs exceeded the value of the car, I can't speak to the quality of the repairs since I didn't have any work completed. The service was friendly, respectful and prompt and the evaluation was thorough and clear and done at no cost to me. This is rare in my experience for an automotive repair shop. When the need arises for my newer car, Meineke Orem will be top of mind.

I received excellent customer service from the general manager and his team. I had gone in for a quick tire alignment where they had found another issue which they took care of swiftly. They had made sure I was taken care of and supplied me with answers to any questions I had. Professional and courteous with a job well done.

Thank you AlexI ve never had such an amazing experience at Meineke.I use to go to Pep Boys at this location which was terrible, and why they went out of business.I thought I would try this auto shop that took over Pep Boys because it s close to me and easy in and out.I had a coupon for oil change, and they did a total inspection of everything and gave me some ideas on what I could do. No pressure whatsoever..Just the coupon price. Wow They went the extra mileI ve never left a review for any business before, but I felt like this location exceeded my expectations, which is awesome! I am very impressed with them and I will Shirley used them again. Extremely honest Beverly.

First time I came to this location I had a GREAT experience. Hence why I came back . This second time, not such a good time. I booked an appt online for 3:30. Told them I needed an oil change and my battery looked at. I got a call my car was ready. Got there at 4:45 before they closed .. I was the last to get helped even though they said I was next. Didn t leave until 5:45. Come to find out my oil was never changed, my battery was never looked at. I took my car ( now with the service engine light on) and never expected to hear from them again. This was Saturday. Monday, someone calls me to apologize and say they want to come pick up my car from my house! They did . Did my oil change and checked my battery. They did turn a horrible experience into a good one. I do think it took way to long but I do appreciate reed for trying to make my experience better :) thanks again :)

Pretty classic very negative mechanic experience. Had an AC issue took it in and they informed me it would be a $135 fee to do a full diagnosis, if it was something simple they would knock down the fee to $50. I agreed, 2 hours later tell me they have no idea what's going on with it, but the next step was to ensure the freon was "perfect" so they wanted to charge $350 to drain it and fill it back up since it was a little low on their gauge. I didn't even want to pay the $135 for this very complex diagnosis. Essentially my autozone gauge isn't as expensive as their gauge which I totally believe, but is that a $135 process? Not sure about that. Then they had all the classic 10 little things they wanted to do which I didn't want to do any of their nonsense. So when I got there the manager was upfront to deal with me. I understand they need to get paid but I don't understand what they did for 2 hours to charge me $135 and then proceed to say we have no idea. He then told me how experienced he was and tried to prove it with his explanations which at this point I am just trying to get out of there before they lay eyes back on the car and it costs me another $200. He knocked $20 off the bill which somehow came out to $135 anyway because apparently 10% tax of 135 dollars is another $20 but I was just done with the whole situation. Get the car back, based on his "our gauge says its a little low" and some reddit threads with people who had the same car it sounded like I just hadn't added enough freon. Added some more and AC is back on track.

They were very helpful with my car. They helped me understand exactly what was wrong, and even figured out the details of the cars extended warranty, which would cover the needed repairs through the dealership, instead of through them. They felt super honest, trustworthy, and overall I had a great experience!

Believe the hype. I took a chance and stopped in to get my brakes replaced. Two other local shops told me my rear brakes were as good as gone, and begged me to quickly fix them but quoted me almost $800. The Meineke guys actually showed me how much brake pad I had left, didn t pressure me at all, and when I ultimately agreed to get the repair it was done $350. The shop was clean and the people were genuinely NICE. These guys are awesome. I mean it

I recently had an amazing experience at the new Meinke store in Orem, and I can't speak highly enough of their service, especially the help we got from their Tech named Reed and the entire team. When we walked in, they patiently explained everything about the service we needed for our Honda, which had a major alignment issue that could've cost us a fortune. They not only found a solution within our budget but also got the repairs done quicker than expected and at a fair price. This kind of dedication and care for customers is hard to find in car repair shops. The Orem store is spotless, with new equipment and a well-organized layout. We got regular updates on the services being done, and there was no pressure for unnecessary upsells. Thanks to Reed and the Meinke team, this was hands down the best car repair experience I've ever had. I'll definitely be recommending them to all my friends and family. Thanks for your professionalism, honesty, and top-notch service!

DON'T EVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! I wish I could give zero stars. My car was running perfectly until I took it to this location for an oil change. Since then, I've had car troubles every single day and now I have to take my car to the dealership for 1 week+ to fix the problems they caused on my car. Not to mention, Reed the "general manager" was caught rummaging through my car, taking pictures of my personal receipts. When I asked him what he was doing, he called me a liar...and threatened me and said "be careful what you say about me online". So I took my keys and tried to leave, he stood in front of my car and tried to block me from driving away. I was honestly terrified, and I'm a little afraid to leave this review after I was threatened, but I want others to know. Save yourself and your car, NEVER GO HERE EVER!

I had a great experience here. This was the first car place I went to that didn't belittle me for not knowing much about cars. They gave me a free car inspection and then walked me through each step and review of the inspection. Great people and great service.

I'm always nervous approaching mechanics shops because I've been taken advantage of in the past. Not only did these guys go out of their way to handle crazy issues getting my car into their shop, they repeatedly found ways for me to save money throughout the process. When I first dropped it off they taught me about the mechanics of my brake system so I could make educated decisions on its repairs.10/10, welcome to Orem and thanks for making my life so much easier!

Being a girl in college on my own, I always get stressed when I have to go deal with car things thinking people will try to rip me off. I walked in and Jordan and Reed were THE FRIENDLIEST staff I ve ever met! They explained a lot of things to me that usually just go over my head. They examined my car and put no pressure on me for trying to buy their services. It seems like they genuinely just wanted to help me out. Greatest experience and I m eternally grateful for them!

Reid was extremely helpful! I came in for diagnostic help and ended up getting bad news when he spotted a problem right away, and he didn't charge me for diagnostic time. He gave me recommendations and outlined risks with the options and now I've got some thinking to do. He could have easily taken my money for diagnosis and pulled apart the car claiming its necessity... I could go on, but in short, he strikes me as honest and very knowledgeable. I definitely recommend this business.

Fast, friendly service. I paid $65 for a VW Jetta oil change that cost $100 last year at Jiffy Lube with a $20 coupon. The Ken Garff dealership had a coupon for $115 oil change. I appreciate good service that doesn't rip you off so way to go Meineke!

I arrived early to the store and stood around for about 5 minutes waiting to be helped. I decided to I leave and come at the exact scheduled time. I arrived and once again waited a long time to be noticed. Secondly, their prices for an oil change were significantly more than the provo location. They had to check for stock outs of regular 5W-30 oil before I decided to just switch my appt to provo. Not professional, slow and rather frustrating.

I brought my Honda into the Orem location for a regular oil change on February 4th. Since then, I noticed that my car was much louder than normal, there was a smell lingering in my cab, and I was leaking oil when I was parked. After about two weeks of this, I popped my hood to see if I could find anything and my oil cap WASN T PUT BACK ON! The cap was sitting on top of the air filter box and my whole engine bay is now covered in oil, which explains why it was leaking so much, it was literally spewing. For seemingly trained mechanics, I am severely disappointed as this could have damaged my engine and anything could have gotten into my engine due to the cap not being on. I shouldn t have to double check a mechanics work, especially for something that should have been checked before it was cleared to leave the shop. They also didn t give me any copy of a receipt, neither printed or emailed. I would not recommend this shop overall.

I dropped my car off at 11 am and when I called at 3:30 pm for a progress update, they said they'd get right back to me, but didn't call again until a little after 5 pm. They said they needed to run additional scans and could either keep the car over the weekend (we dropped it off on a Saturday) and pick back up on Monday, or we could pick it up (risking the long-winded process again). We decided to leave it and called again on Monday around noon, they got back to us at 1:30 pm saying it was ready. When we got there, they highballed us for the repair so we asked for the diagnostic codes and took it somewhere else where we were given an estimate at half the price. After all the good reviews I had read, I was disappointed they took so long and had unprofessional customer service, just to come back with crappy prices.

I had a broken alternator that was fixed the next business day. They text and email you updates about the progress of the repair. I highly recommend them if you're looking for a place to get your car fixed. Great customer service.

Had a great experience, they took care of what I knew was wrong and then told me what they found in their inspection. There was no hard sell or any pressure to get extra services, they just said what they saw and asked me politely if I wanted to take care of it. Kind, respectful and timely, couldn t ask for more.

Reed was very nice and helpful. I like that they take pictures of your car to show you the parts and pieces of what they re talking about. Really great costumer service 10/10 will go back.

This place just opened up recently so I decided to check them out. They were incredible!I had them check a bunch of things in my car and Reed explained everything in detail to me in a way that made sense to a non car savvy person. They also take pictures of everything so that you can actually see what they're talking about instead of just taking their word for it. When they checked my battery they showed me the device and explained how it worked and what the results ment.I also loved that they emailed me everything afterwards so I had access to all the info I needed.Lastly, Jordan and the guy who checked my battery were so nice and helpful. Thank you!

I had a bad smell coming from my AC vents. Called them up, and got put on the schedule same day. They clearly let me know what their processes were, and outlined exactly what I would be charged for. They say the offered a free visual inspection, and if they needed to dig deeper, they would do a full inspection that costs 135$, but they'd ask me first. (had problems with places before not asking, or charging me up front when the issue was clearly obvious.)They found a bad air filter and swapped it out and my out the door cost was 65$. They said they checked everything else out and it all looked great!A few days later, I noticed the bad smell was mostly gone in my car, but when I got up to high speeds it would come back. Again, called them up and got a same day appointment. The Manager, Reed, was increadibly professional and straight forward with me. Another same day appointment.I called him up later that day when my car wouldn't start after getting a car wash. (I was able to get it started and drove it to the shop). Reed happily troubleshooted with me over the phone and even pushed forward my appointment time. They did another free inspection, and the manager even offered to go on a drive with me to see if he could smell what I was smelling.Everything is repaired, and fixed properly. I've probably had the folks over here working on my car for close to 2-3 hours and even took 30 minutes of the managers time driving around and fiddling with stuff in the car to see if we could get the smell to come back.Increadibly friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and fair through and through. Reed walked me through ways I could fix the problems myself in thr future, and took plenty of time making sure I understood. It's also really helps that theyre right next to the Midtown 360 apartments! These are some great guys and I will definetly continue to use them. They text you updates along the way, with photos of the inspections and examinations. Thanks so much for all your help, Reed!

Great place to get your car what it needs! They operate in a timely manner and give you all the information you need. They aren t pushy about selling you on services and products you don t need but will still inform you about them.
