I have taken my vehicles to McFarland Automotive for years! I have always been treated with respect and consideration. They are personable and call me by name, even if I haven t been for a long time. They are thorough in assessments of my vehicle problems, explanations, and options available. They are honest and charges are reasonable and appropriate. They provide excellent service and treat you like family! Thanks McFarland s for dependable service!

I have been going to McFarland Auto for many years. I have never trusted a mechanic the way that I trust the people here. I've always struggled as a female car-owner by being treated poorly other mechanics who are predominantly male. Many other mechanics that I've been to in the past have tried to be dishonest with me, treat me with unfairness, and treat me like I could not possibly understand anything about my car. I've also been scammed on multiple occasions to the detriment of my vehicle and for the business's bottom line.Todd and Alex and all of the people I've worked with at McFarland never try to up-sell me, they always fix the problems I come in with, and they always treat me with respect. They always direct their attention the specific issues present in my vehicle, but they also are careful and attentive if there are issues that require my immediate attention. They do good work and get it done quickly. I would recommend this mechanic over any other business in Utah Valley. I travel a little farther just to have them take care of my car, because I know that it's in good hands.

Been taking my 12 year old Odyssey here since moving to UT. This time was oil, tire rotation and checking a few aging car issues. They were thorough and didn t take too long. They discussed my car s condition and answered my questions. The price was appropriate. I recommend McFarland Automotive. Your automobile will be in good hands.

These guys are the best. Hard to find an honest mechanic, but they are always fair and honest. I never feel jerked around from them. Todd was great in explaining what i absolutely needed done and what he'd to in my position. They gave me great advice and did a awesome service for me

Todd and Alex are always friendly and helpful. It's hard to find a mechanic shop you can trust to give you a fair assessment and price. Although I moved from Provo, I'll still drive the extra 10 miles to have my car serviced at McFarland.

My battery kept dying and I was worried I needed a new alternator so I took my car in. They told me that it was my radio that was draining my battery, unplugged it, and charged me $100. I walked away without a solution and they charged me $100 to unplug a cord I could have unplugged myself. There was a "tests" charge but I was the one who told them it was probably the radio that was the issue. Just kinda a bummer and waste of my money as a poor college student.

These are my preferred all around mechanics and all around vehicle needs. They keep my cars running top notch and they are the most honest people I've ever dealt with. Their pricing is also at another level in my mind because of the amount of time they spend truly going through any issues I ask them to. I recommend McFarland and day of the week!

We had the absolute BEST experience with McFarland Automotive!! We are traveling thru from California on our way to Yellowstone. Our truck started to have issues. We were referred to McFarland from a friend. They we very professional and accommodating to our needs. They were able to diagnose the issue and have us back on the road the next day by noon and therefore our vacation was not a bust! We could not appreciated Todd and his team more.

We bought a Subaru WRX at auction that had a multitude of issues, largest of which was that it needed a lot of engine work. Other shops didn't really want to work on it because of the large amount of work required or wanted to swap the engine instead. A friend recommended to take it here to get it worked on. The guys at McFarland took great care in reparing the engine as well as a multitude of other smaller issues that have been happening every now and then. All very kind and amazing people!

These guys are honest and extremely good at what they do. For 5+ years the mechanics up in Idaho tried to fix my Mitsubishi Montero but kept saying the problem was too difficult to figure out. The mechanics at McFarland took my vehicle and were determined to solve the problem. They had it for more than five days and changed out a variety of parts in order to get it running smoothly. They figured it out and only charged me for the part and the labor that were actually required to make the fix. They've also been excellent at maintaining our Honda Odyssey and Honda Accord.
