The overall experience was really good. Chad, our sales lead, was respectful of my process and wasn't pushy at all. The deal was a fair one even when I told him the other dealer had lead us along then sold it to someone else. The only issue was the delivery. The car was in Twin Falls and it took 12 days for them to deliver the car after we said we wanted it. Given that there are so many transport options available to dealers and the fact that the car was only 4 hours away, this seem to me to be more an indication of what the dealer would pay for transportation versus getting the car to the dealership in a timely way for delivery to us.

It was easy to schedule my service online. When arrived they were ready to take my car. The service was quick and well done. I like the fact that they send videos. However this time, the vide didn't work but advisor found us and let us know the need to change my engine filter. All employees are very kind and respectful.

I had almost given up on finding what I wanted and Grace was able to help me check all my boxes. Setting up an appointment and contacting Grace was easy and convenient. My trade-in experience was efficient and fair, and management was very willing to accommodate my budget! I have a great new beetle, and this was a great experience overall. I have been able to keep in contact with any concerns even after signing, and they re always happy to help! Thank you to Garff Volkswagen & extra thanks toGrace Allred! She rocks!

I always bring my car here for service and they always do a great job. Today they went above and beyond when one of my vacuum lines broke during service it made my check engine light come on. When we found the issue they fixed it at no cost to me. David was very helpful throughout the whole process. Thanks again guys!

There are recalls on my Jetta. I finally make an appointment online to get it done and I am informed that I have to leave the car there for 48 hrs. I told them the website gave me a choice to make the appointment and wait in the lobby if I didn t have a ride to pick it up later. No where therein was indicated that it would take two days. I mentioned that and I was told The website doesn t know how many clients we have As if I was an idiot of course I know the website doesn t know. There should be however, a disclosure advising of potential delays. Moreover, they can give me a car but I have to pay for it??My Jetta is defective with risk of stalling at high speeds causing it lose control and crash and I need to pay for a car while they repair mine?I have never had a good experience at Ken Garf Orem UT. I bought the car in Salt Lake City but since I live too far south, I have had to deal with Orem. Last time I was there, a woman told me to give a 5 star review or they would void my warranty. I didn t write the review. Today, I am.So there

I had the worst experience at the service department that I have ever had anywhere. The man that helped me (dennis clemens is what the paperwork says but he never actually told me his name) had THE worst customer service skills. He was rude, condescending, and had a retort for everything we said from the second we walked in the door. The vehicle (2021 Tiguan) was brought in for 4 different issues and they were unable to resolve any of them. They sold me a vehicle that had a patch on the tire too close to the sidewall (apparently the 118 point inspection does not check the tires?) and it is now leaking and I need 4 new tires 6 months after buying from them. The main issue I took it in for is my headlights are pointed too low at the ground. I told this man that I felt unsafe driving my vehicle in the dark because I cannot see far enough ahead and his reply was they have auto leveling headlights. They drive out of the factory like that. It cannot be changed . Like just deal with it. Where is the compassion? Is Volkswagen going to compensate me when I hit a deer in the canyon when I cannot see far enough ahead when driving?! All of this would have been much easier to stomach if the waste of air man at the service desk had treated us better. I am a 6 time Volkswagen owner and I will never step foot in your dealership again and trust me, I will tell my friends.

As a technician who works at a different Ken Garff dealer I thought I'd get good service here but apparently not. I thought my car was leaking oil into the cylinders though the valve stem seals but I wanted another opinion. They charged me $300 for a pcv that they said was bad even though it wasn't causing the smoking issue with my car and refused to give me a refund for the part I didn't need, and the service manager acted like he was doing me a favor by not charging me additional diag time even though they were wrong about what was wrong with my car. At my dealership if the tech is diagnosis the car wrong we don't charge the customer additional diag because you can't charged the customer for the technicians mistake apparently this dealership does. So I decided to pick my car up because I couldn't trust there technicians and I decided to look more into the car myself. There is no pitting in any of the cylinders I put a camera in every cylinder and had a coworking manually turn the crank, every cylinder looks great this dealership told me to replace my engine for no reason. What it did find was a lot of carbon behind the valve and guess what oil leaking through the valve seals just like I thought. Save your self the time and money take you car anywhere else this is by far the worst dealership I've every interacted with and as far as I can tell the worst Ken Garff dealership. Imagine how much money they've stolen for people who don't have the knowledge about engine like I do, should just trusted myself and save myself the trouble.

Had a good experience with the service scheduler and the service advisor, however on the technical side of things.Tiguan is still experiencing the same issue we took it in for.A year ago we had a bad brake switch and asked them to replace it, they said they did not have it in stock and would order it and call me back( they never did).Transmission is going into emergency mode, scheduled a service to get this repaired, and get oil service done. (They forgot to do the oil service, had to wait extra after coming to pick up the vehicle). They replaced the E-Brake switch assembly and said that was it.Gave me a discount on it since I had been waiting for it for over a year wich is appreciated, but now 50 miles later the vehicle is still going into Transmission emergency mode. Not sure who to thrust now if the dealer doesn't fix it where do yo go?03/26/24 UPDATEService Manager schedule a new service inspection.First diagnosis wasn t accurate, but on this second time around they found the root of the problem and Installed a new shifter module FREE of charge and happy to report Vehicle has been working great ever since.I respect more someone who honestly admits a mistake and comes back clean and makes up for it ! 5 Five stars for this pros.Went above and beyond.(I like getting a video from the tech from the repairs and explanation of the work done even before I go pick it up)

The service was great, and the person who helped me provided outstanding service. My only complaint is that it takes so long to have a simple oil/filter change. It's so much more convenient to take my car to the local oil change shop, where I'm in and out in about 30 minutes. In an ideal world, an appointment at your shop would ensure prompt service.

Jasper was awesome. He was friendly and honest with the car we purchased. If I decide to buy a Volkswagen, I'll come to this location and make sure I talk to him. He didn't pressure us into any add-ons, and listened to what we needed.

This has been, by far, the most outstanding service I have ever received. We were an out of state customer, so not the easiest to work with, and even so, we were given immediate responses to questions and concerns. Our salesman Cory Jeffs was SECOND TO NONE. There should be medals for the level of service he gave us. Start to finish was incredible. Chad in finance was fantastic as well. Cory even went out of his way 45 minutes (1:30 round trip) to hand deliver us the car to the airport at 9pm on a Saturday, with the help from a lot attendant. I will for sure be back thanks to Cory. We love our new 22 Tiguan and it couldn t have been easier to work with you all. EDIT**** it has now been 2years since this review, and we drove down from montana 6 hours to Once again be helped by Cory. Once again made it as easy as it could be, we were in and out in an hour. Big shout out to the whole team but esp Cory Jeffs!!! Me and my wife are very grateful for the service and love our new 2024!

What a wonderful group of salesmen and finance personnel! I found my dream car online and flew from Reno to pick it up and drive home. Corey Jeffs was great and made the whole experience easy!

The salesman Damon was knowledgeable about the vehicle and friendly to work with. No pressure or hard sale. The finance office gave me exactly what was advertised with no hassle. First went to another dealership that was completely opposite and difficult. They tried to hold back incentives and upsell interest. So happy I went with Ken Garf. Great experience

The staff at Ken Garff Volkswagen was the best! This is the second time we have bought from there. Chris bent over backward to make our deal happen promptly. We love working with Ken Garff!

What a great experience buying a car. After text driving every electric car, I went to Garff/Orem and these guys have it down. First, for electric they have one guy that is the expert on electric so helps a lot on all the questions. Second, the time to buy in and out was 20 minutes. We had the deal confirmed prior and on arrival it was a quick process. Plus the deal on the ID4 right now is off the chart. Zero drive off and 3 years free charging and insurance was half the cost of the Tesla 3. Nice job guys!

The team were very accommodating. Fixed the problem that we had. Provided a car to use while the problem was being fixed. In the future, when the car is being serviced, will it also be washed?

We were convinced to trade our current VW car for better technology features 2023 Atlas and we did.The next day we found out the new car didn't have all the features they promised, which was the main reason why we accepted to trade our car.We texted our sales agent Grace right away and she said it's because the features were not activated but she didn't know how to activate them so she scheduled a date for us to come for one of the guy that knew the car to help us set it up.We went there on the scheduled date and while driving the car, the guy told us the car we purchased did not have the features we were told that Grace was new and may be didn't know. That's when we decided to cancel the purchase and get our old car back or get a car that has the features as promised. The sales manager started to yell at us as if we were his kids stating his agent is not a liar that we were lying. We asked for the general manager who came and did not even apologize for the inconvenience, the only thing he offered was for us to pay $ 2000 to get our car back or keep the new car and he only gave us 4 hours to decide or we would keep the new car after this.PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF FROM GETTING SCAMMED, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH KEN GARF VW PLEASE.We ended up paying $2000 to get our own car back.RIDICULOUS.

One of the easier dealer experiences I've had, but here are the big red flags for others to be wary of:1. They give you so much misinformation. I purchased a CPO car. The SALES MANAGER said that there is no deductible for CPO, which is an outright lie. I found out after the fact and purchase with the CPO brochure I was given that there IS a deductible. How does the sales manager not even know their own product and pricing???2. They lied about the condition of my car. It's a CPO so it must have all items in good condition that satisfy the CPO requirements and fall in the 'green' quality of each check. The brakes are not green as they checked off (theyre supposed to have half life left which they do not upon purchase) , and they recommended I replace them ASAP 2 weeks after I bought the car, even though they were checked off fulfilling CPO req's. Taking a look at the CPO checklist, I suspect they didn't even check the car because everything was marked as acceptable in one fluid mark. They also said I need an alignment, which was also marked off as 'green'.Giving 2 stars because staff was kind and not pushy whatsoever. Be aware of shady business practices that every dealer, including this one, unfortunately follow.

I went to this dealership and my car had a small issue . So I went there and they charged me 2500$ to fix something wrong with the engine. Then we waited for a little awhile and got an email saying they needed to change something else and it was going to cost 3000$.. then we waited again and they said bad news the engine is broken . Then they said an engine will cost 6000$.. so we did all that. Then now the car still has a check engine light on and they don t want to fix it when I already spent 14600 on repairs for the car and they still haven t fixed my issues which it still has a check engine light on. And they couldn t fix it at all. And I spent 8 months going back and forth from Orem to salt lake the gas wasted and everything so please don t come to this shop they will see you as a price tag

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service department at Ken Garff. I recently had an unpleasant conversation with one of their service managers regarding my brand new id4. I visited the dealership to determine if the issues I am experiencing with my car are covered by warranty. However, the manager showed no interest in assisting me. Instead, he simply instructed me to make an appointment online, without even bothering to accommodate me while I was already there.Furthermore, he informed me that the appointment would only be for dropping off my car, not for actual service. It could potentially take several additional days for them to even look at my car. To make matters worse, they do not provide loaner cars while waiting for service. I would have to rent a car at my own expense. This setup seems completely unreasonable to me.Even though my issue with the car is minor and could have been addressed in just a few minutes, I find it concerning to think about more serious warranty problems. What is the purpose of having a warranty if it cannot be utilized?

Isaac went above and beyond to help us secure the car we wanted. He's the whole reason we flew from Colorado to Utah to purchase a new car. Chris in finance was amazing too. The process was fast and efficient.

I made a service appt. for my new 2023 Taos because a check engine light came on. I already went and found it was just due to the gas cap having a leak.My wife then dropped it off and they told her we didn t have an appt with them, so I forwarded the text confirmation to her. They then found the appt after arguing with her for 10 minutes. They then told her they would charge her $180 to look at it. Again brand new 2023 Taos which I already confirmed this part was under warranty when scheduling the service.Again she had to argue with them and call me to try and help. At the end of it they said they could run a test but if it wasn t under warranty they would have to charge.Yep turns out it was the gas cap as I explained to them. But great job trying to charge my wife $180 and gaslight her about not having an appt.

I d give it a zero star if it were an option. The customer service sucks do not go here! THEY DO NOT COMMUNICATE ANYTHING TO YOU ON WHAT THEY ARE DOING TO YOUR CAR! I had to be the one to call for the updates when it their job to tell you what they re doing and about how long it will take, but not one time did they contact me first. And if you want to get robbed then this is the place to go to. They mess up working on your car and make you pay for their mistakes, then go on and makeup tons of excuses just to get you to spend more money! It s ridiculous! They told us we needed a part that was around 800 and that it would fix the issue going on with my car. But instead the car wouldn t turn on at all with that new piece. For the cherry on top they made us pay for it even though they had put our old piece back in. WE DIDN'T EVEN GET THE NEW PIECE WE PAID FOR! Go to Strong VW don t waste your time with these guys, it s a bit more of a drive but at least they give you your moneys worth, not send you on your way with a STILL BROKEN CAR!

I would give 0 stars if possible. Every experience I have had here has been horrific. The service was so consistently bad that I traded my car - which was still under warranty - in at the dealership next door. Thanks to these guys I will never own a vw again.I brought my car in for obvious issues, they re-set the sensors but didn't bother to figure out what was causing the problem, then tried to price gouge me for a battery.Another time I brought the car in for a scheduled repair and was told I would have the car back in 2 days. By day 3 they hadn't even started on my car yet. I asked for a rental because it was taking so long, and they refused. The repair took a week.Another time I came in for scheduled repairs and a recall. After 2 weeks I hadn't even received an update. Apparently a part was on back order and they didn't bother to tell me. The part didn't come in for a year.It was nearly impossible to get ahold of someone to speak to or to get a call back. No one ever knew what was going on with my car.

What a place of happiness and joy. Go for the hot chocolate. Leave with the car. No I m not even kidding this place has the absolute most delicious creamy chocolate hot chocolate you will ever have besides Hatch s hot chocolate in Salt Lake. I m about to buy the same $6000 Starbucks machine just so I can have the exact same delicious hot chocolate instead of having to drive here every single day and get my fill. But if you need a car ask for Larry he s a great guy. I ve bought two cars from them and it s been a phenomenal experience. Ken Garff hangs on your every word and they get you what you want

I have a solid yellow check engine light turn on. Had a diagnostic done- Evap issue, possible leak. Car is running okay. I was told that it was safe to drive until it was fixed. They couldn t get me in for two weeks and then I have to leave my car for a minimum of two days before it can even be looked at. This is totally unacceptable. They have no loaner or rental cars available either. My car is still under warranty and I am expected to pay for a rental for a minimum of two days, for an issue that is covered under warranty. Not happening. Corporate VW is my next phone call.Layton VW was able to get me in for service the next day. No dropping my car off for days and waiting. Also the older guy who I spoke with in service at Ken Garff was RUDE.What is the point of your vehicle being under warranty if they can t provide you with a car while it s being serviced for, DAYS????? What happened to scheduling service based on urgency and certain issues taking precedence over others? There has also been a recall for months on my car and still no resolution on a fix.As much as I love my VW, I will never buy one again. Nothing but a hassle and run around when you need service. Apparently, the car still being under warranty means nothing!

Corbin Hood, Service Advisor, took time to explain to me what was done to my car, as well as the maintenance I should plan in the future. He was extremely kind and helpful. He's the best Service Advisor I've encountered. Also, I enjoy waiting in the waiting area of the dealership. The atmosphere is light, clean, and the beverage offerings are thoughtful.

they were good with my car but had disappointing customer service. i called a few days before taking my car in and they quoted me $190 but when i when to pay they charged me $265. i m a 16 year old kid and am trying to take accountability of my stuff and they took advantage of me with their bait and switch.

I could not be happier with our experience at Ken Garff VW Orem. We feel like we have been ripped off by other dealerships in St. George and that was absolutely not the case here in Orem. Chris acted quickly on a busy Saturday morning and got our VW Atlas ready for us before we had even gotten to the dealership. Once we were there, he made the whole process very smooth and he had a lot of knowledge about the vehicle that put our minds at ease that we were purchasing the best SUV. Thank you Chris for making this the best experience I have had buying a vehicle.
