I just got a car at Ken Garff Honda of Orem and it was a great experience. Josh Ludlow helped me and he was amazing at making the process quick and easy. No hassle and explained everything so well. He got me into a great car and even assured me it would be serviced and detailed before I get it. Evan, the finance guy was also really great laying out options for me and explaining each one. So happy I went with this dealership. If you're looking to get a great car and a dealership that actually cares about you, go to Ken Garff Honda of Orem and ask for Josh!Thank you guys, I appreciate all the work y'all did for me!

I received a coupon in the mail saying don t miss your chance for a complimentary oil change which also included an expiration date. My oil life was at 30%, and the expiration date was a couple of weeks out so I went ahead and scheduled an appointment for my complimentary oil change using Honda service pass. I spoke with someone on the phone to schedule and detailed the services I hoped to have done. Not once was it mentioned that a maintenance light has to be on to receive this complimentary service. It also is not specified on the coupon sent. I figured I was close enough and felt comfortable getting the service done. I scheduled my whole day around this appointment and drove out of my way to take advantage of this offer. Upon arrival the young lady working was short and unhelpful. She was not apologetic and made no effort to make things right or to work with me. She had an it is what it is attitude and didn t care one bit whether I stayed and was helped or not. So much for being dependable, reliable, and caring for our customers as also stated on the coupon. I will stick with my small, local shops in the future! They actually value their customers and will treat me and my car right. You are not valuable to Honda, and your time is not valuable to Honda. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

Nice people in sales, very pleasant to work with. They made the process smooth and easy. Decided on a certain car after talking about our hopes and ideas, read the detailed Carfax report, took a test drive, really enjoyed talking and working with sales. Purchased a used car on Halloween, but 15 minutes off the lot the 'check engine' light came on and the dash said "Emissions Systems Problem". Hopefully resolving the situation (and four other issues we noticed after buying the car) by November 13. November 11 was the soonest we could do an appointment with the service center because we need the cars M-F, otherwise we could have done November 7 or so at the soonest. We made an appointment for 9:15am on Nov 11. We arrived at 9:16am or so and checked in and verified the issues they'd be working on. We asked around 10:30am how long they expected to be. They said there were two cars in front of us somehow, must have been from day before, or work that couldn't get finished from earlier in the morning. They estimated finishing around 3:00pm. Cut to 2:45pm and they're calling us, saying they need it over the weekend. The other four issues:-Remote start didn't work reliably even after they changed the battery in the fob-Missing one headrest-Some damage to one of the seatbelts in the back-Front right exterior light comes on even when the lights are set to be offI really don't want to have to pay for any of it, but I'm worried they're going to be like all the corporations lately and claim they have to charge us for this and that, even though we bought a warranty when we got the car. Will update review (probably up or down one star) after we hear the updates and the bill.

I'll be back. I had been looking for an Odyssey for sometime and dealt with the run around from a lot of sleazy places who low balled my trade and sold cars right out from under me. I called into Ken Garff of Orem because the prices were great, but I was expecting no difference from my prior experiences. Luckily, I was wrong. Lyle from Sales, heard me and my frustrations and delivered a 5-star experience, if I could give him 10 stars I would. They gave me a fair evaluation, and Evan in Finance displayed a lot of consideration for our well-being. We noticed a few minor issues with car after we took it. David, the used car manager was more than helpful in assuring us that if the issues continued they'd get us the support we needed even though we drove from Idaho. The issue persisted and Lyle proved he is not a "sell ya and good luck" kind of guy. He wanted to know everything that was going on with the car, got his counter parts involved and had a solution for me in less than 10 mins. These guy are true professionals. Like I said, I'll be back and I'm bringing friends. Thanks Lyle, Evan, McKay & David!

Zero stars! I will never recommend this dealership to anyone!!! We found a vehicle we liked and was approved. They ran our credit and all the paperwork was ready to go. Due to our availability, we were told that we could sign paperwork right when they opened the following day. We received a call that morning saying that someone came in an hour before they closed and purchased the car. Absolutely mind blowing that this is how they do business.

Lyle was the best! Found a car I wanted online submitted application got me approval even with me already having 2 car loans! Everywhere had told me I d have to trade in both vehicles to get the suv loan! The longest part of my purchase was the drive to the dealership! He had all paperwork ready to go car cleaned and everything when we arrived we was only there 25 minutes to sign and drive away!!! Highly recommend him for a fast easy reliable and honest car buying experience!!!

Please do not take your car here to be serviced or fixed for anything. They either don t know what they are doing or just don t want to do it. They will lie and tell you something has been done and charge you INSANE amounts of money. They basically hustled me out of almost $700 and fixed NOTHING. They said it was so much because they charged the AC, but the AC was actually somehow WORSE when I got it back. Save yourself and your wallet the hassle and go somewhere else

I recently had my car hit by a stolen vehicle while it was parked and it was totaled. So I decided to go to Ken Garff in Orem to buy a new car, which was recommended to me. The sales team was so nice and I test drove a car I loved and decided to buy it after doing some negotiating. The sales team told me they were still needing to have the mechanics look at it and if there was anything majorly wrong with it, they could cancel the sale. A few days after the mechanics looked at it and they detailed the car they told me they fixed a few things on it and that it was all in good shape to be purchased so I picked it up and left, that was on 1/9/24. A few days after buying the car the check engine light came on and so I checked my PladTech on my phone that I paid for that came with the car which they said would tell me any issues wrong with the car, but it didn t show any issues. I called my agent Trevor and he set up an appointment for me to take it in, the light then went off so I thought it was fine again so I canceled the appointment. Then the light came back on and then turned off so I tried calling Trevor again and he wouldn t respond which was a bit shady. I called service and set up an appointment for 1/29/24 to get it looked at which was the soonest I could drive it down there. The service department said they would look at it and let me know, a few days later they called and said they found $1400 worth of issues with the car, luckily they ended up being nice enough to fix the main issues with the car, but there was still $700 worth of issues that they claimed to be maintenance issues that needed to be addressed so they were not going to fix them. I am not very happy with the way I have been treated since buying the car, and they told me I should have just bought the $3000 warranty on it. I think I should be able to trust that when they check everything before buying the car and they tell me everything is fine, then it should be. It was very inconvenient for me to have to take the car down to Orem from Salt Lake City and it taking almost a week for them to complete the repairs. I just bought a car and now have $700 worth of repairs I need to cover, and my PladTech seems to not work since it didn t say anything about these existing issues with the car.Update 2/7/24: I was able to work with the service department on getting the rest of the repairs fixed. I appreciate them reaching out after I wrote the review to solve the issue, so I am adding a few stars.

Bought a $48k Honda Passport from Ken Garff Honda of Orem. Called to get my first oil change and they can't fit me in for a week. This is an oil change, not a doctors appointment. Clearly they are not interested in Express Service as listed on their building. Called Larry H Miller Honda in Murray and they got me right in. 45 minutes later, my vehicle is all serviced. I'm in the market for a new 2024 Accord. I'll be working with the service oriented people at Larry H Miller.

We came here because of a recommendation. Sales service was great. We just went through a car accident and our previous family vehicle was a total loss, so we needed a new one. We got a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica and everything seemed to be fine. After a week the car started making noises and the motor was a bit jumpy the first minutes after it was started. Two weeks later, the thermometer showed us the car was overheating so the weekend plans with the family were ruined. We took it in for service and they told us it was just a bubble. A week later the check engine light turned on, and we had to take it again for service (weekend plans ruined again) but this time they couldn t find anything and advised us to y take it to the WV location. The light turned off a week later. Today (a few weeks later, on the Christmas weekend) we had plans for the family which are ruined again because the thermometer shows it is overheating once more. In only 2 months since we purchased the vehicle, we have been bringing it to service at least 4 times.UPDATE. We received the news that repairs needed were extensive and would be extremely expensive, so we were really disappointed and desperate, without knowing what to do. However, we received a call from Ken Garff letting us know they would be taken care of us, and they did. Vehicle is repaired now and so far running good.

We met Mark, a 28-year veteran of the sales team. He's great. He knows his stuff, was easy to get along with, and didn't pressure us. I'd be happy to send grandma to him!

I am very disappointed in the service I received today. I scheduled an appointment for today for a diagnostic and rearranged my schedule so I could drop my car off all day. I brought my car in at 11am and got a call at 3:30pm saying that they couldn't get to my car today because they close at 4pm and wanted me to leave my car until Monday. I need to use my car this weekend, so I will have to again rearrange my schedule to bring my car in another day. I would think that 4 and a half hours would be enough time to do a diagnostic, but I was told that other cars were in line in front of mine.I have also recently had issues with the service department failing to look for me or text me when my car is ready after an oil change. I had waited several hours longer than needed, which has been very frustrating.Customer service lately hasn't been what I have experienced in the past and it is frustrating feeling that they don't value your time.

I wish I could give 0 stars honestly. The worst customer service and parts department I have ever worked with. An absolute joke. First they put in all of my information wrong so when I would call they would take about 20 mins to find my information , I ve had to follow up a lot because of an on going issue and I have been told over 45 times that someone would get a call back (when they get back in office, how is person we are working with always out of office??) and never once received a call, and get put on long holds every time I call. Also get told one thing by the customer service rep and then told a completely different thing from the parts employee. I have never been so disappointed by a repairs office. If you want good service don t go here, they are the most unhelpful people you will ever deal with.

Scheduled an oil change / transmission flush. They did fine with that, sent me a picture of two dirty air filters, I approved them to be changed and then they charged me $100 EACH for the air filters that are maybe $10 at the store. Unreal how duped they made us feel. Don't bother, they won't "HEAR" you.

So happy with the service we got from everyone here , Dylan K. Our sales person was upfront with us , and even though we were not there to buy a brand new car they all treated us like if we were buying one of their most expensive cars , thank you for the great service and working with us!!! We would definitely come back to you guys !!!!

I don't recommend coming here. I had a problem with my sliding door lock as it was sticking. I thought I could trust Honda Ken Garff, but they said I would have to replace the entire door and mechanisms which would be over $4000. I said hell no. I looked online and the solution was to just spray a little WD-40 where the lock was sticking and it was fixed. I haven't had problems since. They could have done the honest thing and fixed it instead of suggesting an entire new door. Shame on them.

They make you purchase extra stuff you do not want! My salesman said he would call me about paint touch up. Still waiting 3 weeks later for call. After I sign sales contract with my credit in good standing, finance manager would not release vehicle because I did not use thier financing partners. You guys need to change your ways!!Poor customer service!!

Ken Garff was fast. Only went there to get a key done. Parts clerk wasn't very talkative or I was just boring. I walked the lot while I waited for my key to get done. Had one sales rep come up and ask me the usual "may I help you find anything?". Very low vibe dealership compared to most dealerships I've been to. Good and bad.

Was quoted one price when I scheduled maintainence for my Pilot two weeks ago. Was quoted the same price yesterday at appointment time. When my vehicle was ready, I ended up paying $50 more than quoted. The service adviser stated that prices recently went up. I get inflation and all but someone along the way in the process could have told me all this a little bit sooner. However, they did try to make it right with extra car wash vouchers.

Look at all their negative reviews, but yet still 4.4, interesting. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. They want to make you pay for added options on cars, and it s mandatory . They want to hide numbers and want those who will pay their overpriced fees and have no interest in building loyalty with customers, they want the next sucker that walks through the door. Ken Garff has gone off the rails and definitely doesn t hear you!

About what you'd expect from a large dealership. You're a number in a book. But they were still polite and pleasant.

If you do business with these guys be ready to be lied to and don't take their word on anything. I was dealing on a car that was advertised on KSL classifieds late in the afternoon and asked for a out the door price which I was given. I told them we would talk about it and get with them the next morning where I was 200 miles away and couldn't just go over and take a test drive. That night KSL classified notified me of a reduction of $700 in price on the car. The next morning when I spoke to them they tried to tell me there was no reduction in price basically calling me a liar but I took a screen shot of the ad and when confronted with it he then gave some lame excuse about someone made a mistake and they wouldn't sell it to me at the advertised price. Then he informed me that they were selling the car to someone else even know he had told me the car was available. These guy's have zero integrity.

Stay clear of all Ken Garff dealerships. I just purchased two cars from two separate locations in a single month, and both experiences ended in unnecessary inconvenience and cost. Everyone who works at Ken Garff Honda in Orem is very nice, but their business practices are SHADY!! They sold me a Toyota RAV4 that looked and drove well. Then 10 minutes off of the lot, the check engine light came on. Catalytic converter. These guys and cleared the light and then did something so the car would pass emissions prior to sale. If I had test driven the car just 10 more minutes, I would have caught it. They also install aftermarket equipment on all their used cars and then make you pay for it. They will not remove the equipment or the cost. That automatically adds $980 to your total. AVOID Ken Garff at all costs.

I arrived on time and they got me right in for my Advantage Care oil change redemption. I love that if there are any concerns, they make a video and send it to me, so I can see myself what they are referencing.

EDIT: it's been 4 months since the awful service from this dealership. I've used the contact suggested below with zero results. The owner of this location doesn't seem to care at all about their dissatisfied customers which is the reason I'll warn people away from this place. Sure they have a prime location and a clean neat building with free coffee and snacks but they couldn't care less about the quality of their product.Got the car in for an early appt on a Saturday, 8:45am. Oil change, tire rotation and a couple of recall items. I'd asked about a loaner for the day, because of the recall items, which was rejected. That's odd because the loaner we had previously used was sitting right outside the service bay. We've had issue with the throttle being unresponsive which we inquired about. They charge $170 to diagnose anything and the issue may or may not be covered by the warranty but they won't know until AFTER the diagnostic. I declined the diagnosis. I checked in after 4 hours with the service rep when I was informed that my car was 4th in line to be serviced, "check back closer to close of business", he said. All this said, it took 7 hours to change oil, rotate tires, update the software and change a recall cable. We still have 3 free oil changes which we most likely won't use because the service dept was so awful. Go anywhere but Ken Garff, we've had nothing but problems with them ever since spending $30,000+ with them.
