They were really fast at getting my vehicle in. Too bad it seems like they have a bunch of teenagers working as mechanics. I needed them to repair all the necessary components to pass emissions. They fixed a thousand dollars worth of parts. There was still a check engine light and they tried to force the emissions through. After failing the test they informed me my truck was emissions exempt. So I spent a thousand dollars for no reason. The speedo in my car broke shortly after they repaired it, they also broke the dash in several places. Take your car somewhere else if you want to save money.

Brought my car to get an issue diagnosed. They were super friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. My favorite thing about their service is that when I brought my car in, they had a tech do a ride along with me so I could show them the issue. They were pretty fast to get back to me and very clear on what things would cost. The diagnostic service was a very good value. I plan to keep using them as my mechanic.

I'm so glad I found this shop. Since my trusted shop changed ownership I've been struggling to find an honest shop that charges honest prices. Ed's was friendly, fast, and above all honest. They actually ended up charging me a little less than their original quote and WAY less than the shop I went to before them that tried to pull a fast one and gouge me. I'm hopeful that Ed's will be my new trusted shop for a long time. Thank you!Service: General repairs & maintenance

5 isn t enough. These guys are great. Chase helped me fix a jiffy lube mistake. Differential plug was stripped , called them and not only did they squeeze me in same day, service was excellent. very personable and fun shop to work with. trustworthy and knowledgeable, something that non-car people need. I needed a new serpentine belt, and came to Ed s because a friend recommended them. I would definitely recommend trusting Ed s with your vehicle. They were kind, quick, and I felt like I was getting an honest price on parts and labor.I will say the exterior of the building and parking lot are a little sketchy. However, don t let the outside persuade you!

I think I've struck mechanic gold. It's hard finding a mechanic you can trust - let alone friendly! From scheduling through getting fair prices they have been phenomenal. They know what they're talking about and are also quick to get you in/out. What more can you ask for? I have been taking vehicles to Ed's for more than 10 years. I trust no other mechanic but those that work for Ed. Ed's Automotive is fair, up front and always treats me right. They take responsibility for their work and they do an excellent job. Will never take my vehicle anywhere else.

They seamed great at first quick to get in. My car would just stop accelerating randomly and I had to pull over and restart to get it to work. When I had it towed in they said it just needed spark plugs replaced and an oil change. Which should have been at max $600 only they charged me $900 and not even a week after being fixed it did the same thing. Went in to figure out what was going on they made me wait a week and then told me it has issues that they could not help with. My husband has now been fixing what they should have done in the first place.The oil change they did on it left us with the bolt so tight on you have to have a torque wrench to get it off and then you need to replace the bolt. I honestly think they took advantage of me seeing me as basically a dumb blond and they my have ruined my car with that oil change. I do however give it a two since they are very nice and could fit me in quickly. I would only suggest them for basic maintenance just know you won t be able to have any one, but them change your oil after also If your check engine light is on find somewhere else. My husband has spent almost two hr still trying to get the bolt off with just about every tool we have.

Super happy with them! They ended up finding a problem with my car that they don t specialize in so they ended up having my car towed for free to a place that could. They did a great job taking care of me! I will come back for other future problems.

Started bringing all my vehicles to Ed, 5 or 6 years ago. Always fair and honest. Even after moving 30 min away and often needing an appointment (because they are so good and busy) I find it to be worth the wait for the Ed s Automotive experience

It is such a relief having a go-to auto place you can trust. These guys will take great care of you. A friend recommended them to me and now they ve come in clutch for me and for my mom separately. They re our default now, which makes car issues seem way less stressful.

I have been going to Ed s for years and If possible I will only go to Ed s. Multiple times in an emergency I have been quoted a price for something and when I was able to get my car to Ed s his price was hundreds of dollars cheaper and the work was very well done. Ed has called me multiple times after working on a car to ask me if the issue had been resolved and to see his diagnosis was correct. This kind of integrity is not natural in any human being. It is above and beyond. It may sound overdramatic, but after working with his people I always feel driven to be a better person.He has plenty of business and so if you need work done you ll have to schedule a ways in advance. We love Ed s! We started taking our cars there about 3 years ago, and are super satisfied every time! Ed is super nice and makes sure you are paying a fair price. I can only think of one time when I took my car in that I continued to have issues, and Ed took it back and fixed it for just the cost of the parts. I have been a customer of Ed's since before it was "Ed's" (Probably at least 15+ years). These guys are HONEST, friendly, efficient, and cost effective. Their work is high-quality, and I trust their recommendations and advice. I like that you can talk directly with Ed himself. I have know his lead mechanic Mike even longer than Ed. These guys are top notch. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a shop with integrity and quality. I'm the fleet manager where I work, we have been taking our fleet to Ed's for 7-8 years. Their work, ethic, and integrity is definitely top notch! It's weird to say when talking about a mechanic, but they absolutely can be trusted. they wont over charge you or do un-necessary work and charge you for it. I enjoy working on my own vehicles a lot of the time, but if I have to take it to the shop, Ed's is the only place I will take my vehicles and if I ever have a question about the work I'm doing my self I can call and talk directly to Ed and he will explain and/or give me tips even though it profits him nothing. I have been going to Ed's with all my cars since I could drive. This is an honest business that cares about you and your car! It always is nice to know that I can trust them with my car from being honest in their assessment to the work they do on the job. I have taken my vehicles to Ed's for 10 years now. They have taken good care of us. He has always been able to figure out the problems I am having on my cars, and he explains the problem and the solution in a way that I can understand. Ed and his employees are honest, knowledgeable, fair, efficient, and timely in their work. I have referred family and friends to him and will continue to do so. We LOVE Ed s. Such a great mechanic and his team is amazing. They are so honest, helpful and friendly. They tell you exactly what is wrong with your car and their honest opinion of whether it really needs to be fixed or not. They ll also give you a fair price. We had a few leaks in different places and after fixing it, they wanted to keep it an extra day to drive it around and double check that it really was fixed. We will always go to Ed s.

Our check engine light came on due to engine misfires during a cross country road trip. Another shop was unable to diagnose the issue and we were very fortunate to select Ed's as the next shop. They took the time to fully diagnose the issue (turned out being 2) and took the time to explain everything and make the repairs. The amount of stress taken off our shoulders to be able to drive home without ongoing misfires was unmeasurable. Ed s is fast and professional. I have taken two of my cars to them to get new brakes and both times I had my car back within 24 hours after I called them. Very friendly and good customer service too. They don t try to sell you extra garbage you don t need and don t try to fix other things that aren t broken to run the cost up. They get the job done quick and they do it well.Service: Brakes

I have brought my lexus into Ed's shop every time there was a problem. My car is slammed to the ground on lowering springs and my concern was they wouldn't be able to get it in without scrapping the bottom, but they got it in just fine every time!! My family has used Ed's for years and he is the most honest and trustworthy shop around. Amazing prices and and fast work. They know what they are doing and I am more than grateful for them and the job they do. They don't scam you like other shops and they do the work professionally and efficiently. Will be taking my cars here until the end of time for sure. See why he has basically a 5 star rating, its not just the cars he cares about, its the costumers too

Ed's is seriously the best place you can go to. They are very honest and will make sure you know what it takes to get you going without trying to upsell or put in things you don't need. I had to have an inspection to get my car registered but didn t pass, the guy that helped me (I m assuming the owner?) was so nice! He told me to go drive it for a little bit after he cleared the light and to come back and he will check it. I did that and he checked it again, it passed but he didn t charge me again. He told me to come back if I needed anything and he would help. I felt really taken care of and I definitely will go to Ed s for everything regarding my vehicles in the future.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic
